...Whenever yami can't sleep and starts singing bad American pop music. I would like to point out that the only languages my yami knows are Ancient Egyptian and Japanese. I would also like to point out that my yami cannot sing. Add these factors together and multiply by insomnia. Trust me, frying pans are invaluable things.

Aaanyways, yes, I'm frustrated at my piece of shit computer... I downloaded the new Realplayer One thingie so we could burn CD's again but I didn't know it had new burning features (like burning speed). So I wasted 4 CD's trying to find the right options to burn the god-damn CD at... bleh! *kicks computer*
Aaand, it did the stupid ass registry checker thingie a few days ago so Dad's taking it in *AGAIN*. The computer guy said it could be a hardware problem. *sobs* If my crap gets deleted I *will* cry.
So, WE'RE GOING TO WARPED TOUR TOMORROW~! Well, Warped isn't til Wed. but that doesn't matter~! I'm excited! ^_________________^
But, Andrea wants me to write and I want to read fanfic so I'm in a bit of a dilemma. ^_^;;;; So, I'd better go so I can do one or the other or both.

Yes, aaanyways, since this *was not* what I was going to talk about here, I think I'll just move on...
Right. So we went to A's last night after playing at Grad. Impromtu parties are such fun. We (being Andrea, C, Jos, Dan, Vic and I) had faaaar too much pop. And we burned evil ENGLISH! HAH! TAKE THAT MRS. JONES! YOU AND YOUR GOD-DAMN FEMINISM! YOU CAN BURN IN HELL!! ALONG WITH YOUR DIRTY SKIMMING AND SCANNING NOTES! MWAHAHAHA!

Yeah. And then I dragged myself (and parents) out to City Hall today cause the Jazz Band was playing again. We played well. Twas fun. And then we came back later to watch Stephen in Sweet Sassy Molassy (and Carol Whaley in Glizzando). Twas a fun day. I'm tired now. I've been reading too much slash. AAaaH! What am I *saying*? There can never be too much slash! Mwaha!

No music, no quote. Just nothing. My god... I read OotP in one great big shot yesterday. Started around 11am and finded and 12:30am. Lots fun. I did however take 5 min. breaks every 100 pages and took an hour for supper. Not bad at all. I must say, it was hard falling asleep last night.
Andrea and praetorianguard summed it all up nicely. Although I must agree with A when she talks about liking Hermione's Hermione-ness. She has her moments when she's annoying and you want to smack her, and then she has brilliant moments. However, I'm *very* greatful JKR left out Harry/Ginny and Harry/Herm. Cause they annoying the *life* out of me. Herm/Ron was cute. And Harry/Cho was bloody awkward. Cho's a bit of a prat I think now... And Draco's still 2-D as ever. And if I had a dollar for every time I was ready to throttle Umbridge (and every time I compared her to Jones) I'd be bloody rich. Gah!
Characters that didn't get enough screentime (who deserved it):
Tonks - she was soooo cool. I really enjoyed her. Changing her hair and stuff. Her character was great. I wished we'd seen more of her.
Remus - there can never be too much of him. Never. And though he and Siri flirted (and were LIVING TOGETHER) we all needed more of him. He's the calm, rational voice that pats you on the head whenever you feel like committing bloody murder. Yes, we definately needed more of Lupin.
Mrs. Figg - caught me totally by surprise. A lot of people in the fandom heard she was the new DADA teacher. And a lot of people had her pegged in the same way. As a hell-bitch. Then, you read the book and she's a squib. I couldn't believe it. I absoluted LOVED her. Screaming the whole while with Harry "I AM GOING TO MURDER YOU MUNDUNGUS FLETCHER!" *laughs* I loved her. She was very cool. I really hope JKR brings her back...
Mundungus - again, another one I was surprised about. I had fallen victim to the fandom characterization (of him being a teacher and being totally desperate for female attention). He's a rudden theif. ^______^ You have no clue how happy that made me. I loved it. Finally someone (other than Snape) who isn't completely and totally 'clean'. He was a dork. A dork who almost got Harry killed. But he was great nonetheless.
Ernie MacMillian - has earned my respect. Sure Harry describes him as a prat sometimes, but he was a cool prat. Who believed Harry. I dunno, but I really liked him. A lot.
Moody - the real Moody. How cool does that get? I loved him too. Funny, albeit a little unstable sometimes but who cares? ^_^
Draco - of course, you knew this was coming. He had very little screentime. Which to me showed how occupied Harry had become. Before, all you heard about was 'this or that kind of spat with Malfoy' now he's hardly present. It was interesting actually. Sure he was a complete and total git. But something's he said made me burst out laughing. Like when he was taking points off "five because I just don't like you Potter, and Weasley you're shirt's untucked so that's another five..." I can't explain it. It was hilarious. I hope JKR gives him a more 3-D character. ^_^
And that is all the time I can spend on ranting for now. I have a Jazz Band rehearsal to go to in less than a hour.

Aaaanyways. I'm losing my 'puter again. *sniffles* Mom's taking it back in tomorrow because the virus thingie isn't completely gone and shit. Sucks major ass (creating a vacuum of ass -- yes, I am a joke stealer, shoot me now!). Right, so yeah. That was coherent.
Went to yearbook today with Andrea, we did the band page. It is done now. With lots of pictures. *is in Robyn's debt now* Yeah. Lotsa fun. Andrea's done her exams tomorrow so we're gonna do... something. I dunno what. Prolly just hang out somewhere. Or something. We are indecisive. Woot.
I GOT 86 ON MY PHYSICS FINAL! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE~! Which brings my mark (down) to 88! Woot! I am sooooooooooooooooo happy about that. I was so nervous about this test. I think I have the second highest mark in the class... cause Lisa's got the highest... of course (98 on the final (bah!) and 96 overall (bah again!)). Aaanyways, I'm quite satisfied with that. ^_____^ Considering Phys. is the hardest 20 level course there is. Andrew told me Physics 30 is easier... thank the GODS!
Yeah, so I'm maximizing my 'puter time since I don't know when I'll get it back. And I'm desperately awaiting the arrival of my Harry Potter book (especially since Andrea made me go to Walmart with her so she could buy her own copy... >_______<). The last time I checked (with CanadaPost tracker thingie) it was in Mississauga of all places. Dad figures it'll prolly make it to Calgary by the morning. I really hope so. I want my boooook! I wanna know who dies so the suspence can stop fucking with my head! Bwaha!!!!! I am CRAZY~~~!!!

So, stupid Dan went to Walmart and bought (and read) the new Harry Potter book. Stupid, stupid Dan. My book doesn't come until tomorrow or Tues. Bah! She's confirmed (because of her MSN sign-in name) that the person that gets offed in the book is a him. At least it's not Hermione. But if it's Snape, Lupin or Black I *will* bawl my eyes out and scream out at the unfairness of it all. Or Draco... Dammit, I want my book now!
Aaaaanyways, do you like my new layout? I kinda like it. I was getting tired of the blue and the "oldlace"; because there actually is a color like that. And I didn't want to go all black bg cause A already did that. So I opted for grey. Cause it's cool and shite like that. Went to C's last night. We watched Vlad: The Impaler and MallRats. And we did tarot card readings. Twas very fun.
My 'puter had a virus on it so they had to clean the files and delete some of them. Hopefully that means that this'll work better. Cept, I can't access A's page right now... I'm experimenting to see if I can see what's going on.
Finally, I *did* write something last night. A short lil, DTF for my 'verse... enjoy!

Lance spun around, clearly enraged, "What the FUCK do you think Makkoa!" It wasn't a question. "I'm stuck here trying to help you so I can die in peace and you challenge me when..."
"So, isn't anger an emotion? I thought you couldn't feel." Oh now this was familiar. It was like before he trusted the other man. The spats they'd had over who was right and wrong. Always trying to outdo the other, prove them wrong.
Lance seemed to remember this too as his gaze narrowed dangerous, "Fine Makkoa, you win this one. I refuse to continue this conversation." And he turned to leave for real this time.
"Did you ever consider that the only thing you can't feel anymore is pain?" Alayn's tone had softened slightly.
But Lance was already gone...
What'd ya think? I wanna leave it there, but I wanna continue it too... hmm... Note to self: find a replacement word for 'fuck'. Cause it doesn't work...

Then we talked outside my house for a good 20 mins. about how sucky the south side schools are (compared to the north side ones). Like MHHS vs. CHHS and shit like that. Also how my mom's tutoring an eight grader in math cause his math teacher's a PE major whose idea of giving notes is passing out formula sheets. GAH! Thus re-enforcing my desire to come back to the Hat (after U of L) and teaching junior high math and science. Aaaanyways...
Speaking of school, I really should study. More. Ah, that'll be tomorrow's job. I did study some Chemistry today. I place emphasis on the word 'some'. Right. Spontaneous combustion here I come... blah.

And you will *not* believe what I heard on the radio yesterday... IVERDALE! That's right ladies and gents, the crappiest radio station this side of the Sahara Desert (MY96) actually played *good* music. And a LOCAL BAND to boot! Squuueee~! I was happy. Very happy.
And now for the less than stellar (curses you Whitney and your surfer language) part of my week. Math 31 conflicts with Drama 30. And the only other 31 class is when I've got band. Sucks eh? Well, the one good thing is I get a fifth period spare next year.... blah. Jen and I (cause she's got the same problem) are thinking about maybe going and helping Bevan out during fifth (if she's got a spare too) to make ourselves feel better....
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Countdown: 8 days! Yay. Well, I'm not getting it in 8 days, but it comes out then. Canada Post'll ship it to me "the week of June 23rd". Yay for the internet.

AAAaaand, then we went to Blockbuster. Sadly the Animatrix was all rented out (told ya so) and we opted for Kingdom Hearts instead. Best wasted 3 hours of my life.
But before playing the game we had to by munchies. So we went to Superstore (so I could oogle at the cahier). Yeah, and we went through Sam's till. I was happy. But Andrea got a circle and I didn't. I was very jealous... >_< And then Andrea (being sooo generous) gave me the receipt. I'll treasure it forever. >___<
Anyways, Kingdom Hearts was amazing. I neeeeeeed a PS2~!
