I swear I haven't died!! You see, my hard drive crashed when that bug was going around on AOL and it infected my computer. So for a few weeks I was without a comp, and I lost all my files that I didn't have already burned onto discs (which wasn't much). Needless to say, I had a lot of work to catch up on. But now I have a new comp, with 80 GBs of space with a lot of other goodies put onto it. It took me so long to update my domain since I've been busy with school and taking care of my grandparents. The current layout there isn't that wonderful, but I'm currently working on another in my spare time. I finally managed to upload my Fushigi Yuugi shrine. It was supposed to be just on Miaka since she is my favorite character of the series, but I wanted to make a shrine to FY as a whole. It's only a mini-shrine, but it will be gradually updated once I make fanworks, add more pics, etc. In other news, I'm debating on whether or not to work on a new domain for just my Slayers sites, and I posted a survey for a site that would be made for it. Please go and fill it out to let me know what you think.
Here's something that was extremely funny that I'll never forget. Earlier in October, I and my group of friends went to the yearly fair, and we took Tasha's old ford truck to get there. Well, we made the boys sit in the cab while the girls sat in the front. So my friend Peter was standing up and somehow fell out while we were waiting to get across the highway and we floored it to get across when suddenly we hear Steph's husband Patrick laughing hysterically so we look behind and see Peter chasing after us. Then on the way home, Peter found a leash attached in the back of the truck for her dog. Well, he thought it was longer than what it looked, so he put it on and stood up, telling Patrick to "watch this" but before he could do anything, Tasha floors it again and makes Peter fall and he almost strangled himself. And only because he lived can I laugh about it. ^^;

So I finally stopped procrastinating and got around to finishing my site for Sylphiel called Shrine Maiden. It's kinda small, but what site isn't when it first starts out? Well I hope everyone enjoys it!! ^_^ On a even happier note, I have resolved my dispute with my flamer who is now considered to be a concerned reader. We resolved our issues with each other and apologized for what we have said/done. So in my newfound respect, I have taken down my rant. I went and saw Pirates of the Caribbean last night with William, he was so sweet to take me. It was his last night to be able to do anything and he wanted to take me on a movie date. I really liked it, it had both Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom. Tara is in happy heaven mode right now...

*sings* Happy Belated Birthday to me!! Tee hee, I'm finally 21 years old, scary ne'? I don't feel 21 though, maybe I will if I buy a margarita or something. ^_^b I had a nice day though, my relatives had cake with me and I made $200 in cold hard cash! Not a bad haul if I do say so myself. My mom bought me a horse shoe necklace which was real nice of her. I got William's present yesterday too, he bought me a shirt that says "Sometimes I just want to put on a bunny suit and scream" with a little ugly kid in a bunny suit on it. I like it, but he also got me a book of Johnny the Homocidal Maniac comics. You're a sick man Wil!!! Tomorrow I'm going to go to a casino with my parents, so that should prove interesting enough. Oh lookee!!! Rem-chan made me a pretty present!!
Thanks so much for making this for me Rem, I love it!! ^_^

*bounces around like mad* I actually made the dean's list!!! XD XD XD I'm so happy!!!! I knew all that studying would account for something someday. I feel like I did something worthwhile for once. In other news, my car broke down today. ^^; I needed a new alternator and my battery died. So I had to wait all day for my uncle to replace it with a new one. Thank God though that it wasn't swealtering hot outside and I wasn't out in the middle of nowhere. Currently I'm working on my new Sylphiel shrine, and I'm looking for fanwork submissions. I've taken yet another vacation from writing Forbidden Love, it seems around this time of year I take off longer than I should. I will get back to writing it I swear, my muse is just being stubborn right now.

Classes are finally done with and summer is here! I'm so glad my grades came out so well, my GPA went up and I made it to where I'm now a sophomore. I may choose to take some summer classes next year to catche up, but I doubt it. Sadly, I wasn't able to make it to ACEN to visit Sabrina which sucks but I should be able to get there next year. I may get a job at Suncoast! :D I figured, hell I'm there most of the time I might as well work there to support my habit. Not much else is going on, I found a site that has translations for the Ayashi no Ceres novels here. I suggest everyone read them, it was such a great story that makes up for a lot that happened in the manga and gives me a great deal of closure. The novels were written by the same person who did the Fushigi Yuugi novels and Yuu Watase-sama did the artwork. Before people get onto me about liking the novels b/c Watase herself didn't write them, she did help with the storyline idea the same way she did with the FY novels, so I can say with ease that it is semi-canon. Now if only I can find a translation to the Ryuuseiden novel. The boshi twins are my favs from the Seiryuu side! ^-^v

Happy May first everyone! Well Spring Break has come and gone and I spent most of my time shopping. ^_^ I finally got the speakers in the back of my car fixed and I no longer hear that damn cracking noise when I turn up the volume. On a bad note I somehow lost $20.00. @_@ I have no idea how that happened and I'm really pissed at myself for it. In other news I found out that Viz has bought the rights to translate the Rurouni Kenshin manga. Right now I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing, the same way I was when they started showing the series on Cartoon Network. For one they are not sure if they are going to publish it in Shounen Jump, as graphic novels, or both. If anything I hope they just make it into graphic novels. Not to say I don't like Shounen Jump, but it will be the same as with Fushigi Yuugi and they won't publish each volume very quickly so as not to get too far ahead of the chapters that will be in the magazine.
Oh I saw Identity this weekend, I must say it was pretty awesome! I just love movies that screw with your mind. I was right about who the killer really was though! XD

Yoo hoo!! It's Spring Break finally!!! I'm so glad but I have all this crap I got to work on while I'm off when I could be doing things I actually want to do. Oh well I guess this is where my time management skills come in, though I am infamous when it comes to my habit of procrastinating. *bounces* I'm so happy b/c Suncoast sells Pocky now! :D Whee! I love pocky soooo much and it was always a bitch to get my hands on some. Listening to the Evanescence CD, I like it a lot the lyrics are awesome and I love their use of the piano. My fav songs on it are My Immortal and Imaginary. Tasha's b-day is coming up so I got to go get her a present while I'm out tomorrow. Not much else to talk about. XD

Finally got around to writing my geography paper! I swear I procrastinate too much. I still have other assignments that I should work on, but this paper is due on Wednesday. Watched Ghost Ship finally! It... was ok I suppose. I loved the opening scene *drools over the carnage candy* but the rest of the movie didn't do a thing for me until the little girl revealed what else happened on the ship. The ending was predictable as well. I mainly watched it because I found out that it was made by the same people as House on Haunted Hill (original and re-make are both favs of mine) and 13 Ghosts. I liked the effects in both movies and Ghost Ship did have great special effects but if the plot isn't strong well you will lose my interest greatly. Not much else to write about. XD

Gomen for the lack of posts recently. Not much has been going on in my life which means insufficient things to write about. Today though, I found out that my great uncle is paralyzed from the waist down. It's really sad to find that out and I feel real bad for my grandfather because it's his brother and he's taking it real hard. On a happy note though, my friend William has finally gotten some time off from the navy and is down for a while. I missed him so much, it's been a year since I've seen him so I'm real happy to spend time with him. I'm excited because Spirited Away is in theatres and I really want to see it. Oh as you have noticed I made a new layout. It's Chii from Clamp's hit manga Chobits. I think it's a great story, I bought the first DVD the other day. So far I've read the first two volumes of the manga. Well I'm going to go role play now.
