I'm so HAPPY!!!! I just found out that an anime convention is coming my way in September. XD I'm going to have to save lots of money. Not only do I need money for that but also for the trip to Pensacola, and I have to save money for next year b/c I will be planning a trip to Chicago to meet my online friend Suten and go to the anime fest they have there with her. I would cosplay for the convention here but I have no sewing talent at all. i_i I might just wear my China doll dress that I got in Chinatown when I went to NYC and just use a handheld microphone and cosplay as Minmei from Robotech. Well I'm not going to write much else b/c I'm going to a jewelry party with Tasha tonight and I need to take a nap before I go b/c I was up late last night. I feel like I could collapse at any given minute.

Well another birthday has come and gone. I know I'm not posting this on my birthday but I was a little too preoccupied that day. Not so much that I had a fun-filled day but that night my grandmother fell ill and we had to take her to the emergency room. She had water in her lungs so she had to stay for a few days. How's that a way to end your b-day? Not that it sucked enough, I spent the entire day trying to find a bathing suit I liked but couldn't find anything and I got really depressed. And my family was all happy and proud of me for once since I finished my first year of college and they weren't on my back about stupid crap so that made me cry even more especially b/c I knew they were only acting like this b/c it was my birthday. I wish they could be like that all the time. Well at least I made $200 in birthday money now I can't wait to spend it all. I have to save at least 100 of it for the trip to Pensacola with Steph, Patrick, and Peter. I'm going to need at least 300 so I have to start saving. I did eventually find a bathing suit by Friday, which was when my friends came over to celebrate my birthday. We had a blast playing pool, swimming, eating, making margaritas, and watching horror movies. My brother was there to annoy the hell out of me but that was to be expected. I had a great time and I could just imagine all of us living together. It would be awesome; especially since Tasha, Steph, and I have never in all the time we've known each other have ever had a serious fight. I think that is something very special if one can find that type of friendship and I'm really lucky b/c I have two of them. ^_^v

I'm so happy! I went to e-bay last night and found a copy of Fushigi Yuugi's Voice Collection Soundtrack. I was the only one who bidded on it and I got it for $8.99 when it's like a $30.00 import. I can't wait for it to come in and listen to it, I love Hotohori's image songs. They're so pretty. I got the Yu Yu Hakusho the movie DVD a couple of days ago. I was kinda disappointed in it b/c it was like only 30 minutes so it was more of a special episode than a movie. I want to get the other movie on DVD that was what got me into YYH in the first place. Hiei is my favorite character but I don't see the whole Hiei/Kurama yaoi relationship. Don't get me wrong I'm not homo-phobic or anything but I think they are nothing more than good friends and besides I like him with Botan better. (I should make a site to them, there aren't any on the net dedicated to them as a couple.) So if you have any B/H fanworks send them my way! I had to delete my address b/c I've been getting to much spam in my mailbox so I made an e-mail form for you to get in touch with me. I think I might have to do that with all my sites. I'm currently making a new layout for Bright Eyes but I don't know when it's going to be up because I am going to make some new content for the visitors. I'm excited b/c tomorrow is my birthday!!! I can't believe it I'm going to be 2 decades old! (20 in case you didn't know) I feel so old. XD

I finished reading Memoirs of a Geisha today! I really enjoyed it everything was described in full detail that it was like I could see everything and sense everything just like Sayuri did. I learned so much about the Geisha lifestyle as well, the hardships they had to endure I could never imagine happening to me. I got my haircut earlier today after I helped Nan carpet clean the house. Oh that was hell, the cleaner felt awful against my bare feet and I didn't have anything to wear that wouldn't get ruined. But I felt refreshed after my haircut my bangs were bothering the hell out of me and I swear that if I didn't get them cut a.s.a.p. I would have done them myself and that always end in disaster. After that I went to Hollywood Video and rented some movies then I went and got Hershey from the vet. The poor thing must have known she was going to the vet for her shots and a bath b/c this morning she scratched at my door till I woke up and let her in then I had to pet her for half an hour. After I did that she got off my bed and I thought that I could catch a few more winks but nooo she started scratching at my door wanting out, she thought that the close was clear but after I left her out Nan scooped her up and put her in the cat carrier. She was crying for me to help her and on the way home she kept meowing to be let out. She was real happy to be home lol.

Wow it's been awhile since I last wrote huh? Well my summer vaycay has started and I've been enjoying it, I'm so glad to be done with all those papers I had to do. Went shopping with Tasha a couple of days ago to help her pick out an outfit for a wedding she's going to. I bought the coolest thong sandals last week. They have these retro collages of women from the 30's (I think it's the 30's) on the top of them and the straps are covered in silver sequins. Speaking of shopping... I'm so happy because the Fushigi Yuugi artbook and soundtrack I ordered have finally arrived. I swear I will learn how to read Japanese one of these days but for now I am satisfied to look at the pretty pictures. I'm listening to the soundtrack right now actually. It's the original one and I love it even if it is mostly background music. I want to get the one that also has all the image songs on it so I have to start saving my money. Oh the coolest thing happened to me the other day! This girl from China e-mailed me and asked if she could translate my short story "Only Love, Only Hate" into Chinese and post it on her website. I was like sure go ahead... it's not everyday that someone asks me something like that. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. I'm supposed to be going to see Spiderman today, people have been telling me it's real good. I hope it is. I just found out that they are making a live action version of The Last Unicorn and it's going to come out sometime next year. Here's the link for the official movie site... The Last Unicorn Net. I had a pretty busy weekend. Friday night I went with Patrick and Steph to Laser Tag. We had a great time playing with this other group of people our age. The black lights were making Steph and I look scary because we both have blue eyes and they were glowing along with our nails and teeth. Patrick was freaked out by us. Then we went to the batting cages and tried the medium speed ones but they were too low to hit so then we tried the slow balls which were going up higher. I did alright because I imagined that I was beating a certain person's face in with the bat. I kept doing well and was about to hit another when all of a sudden I heard "Go Crackers!" and I ended up spinning around and missing the ball. Patrick just had to yell out my new nickname and make me mess up. [but I punched him for it ^_^v]
So then after we were done playing we went back to my house and listened to the Jerky Boys. Patrick has never heard them before and he was cracking up laughing at it. Steph didn't really listen b/c she was absorbed in a new magazine I bought. After they left I watched some videos I rented which happened to be Vampire Princess Miyu and Sorcerer Hunters. See I rented them because I thought our plans to go play Laser Tag were a bust and I was going to chill that night so I would be rested and relaxed Staurday when Tasha came over. Well I was in the shower shaving when I got a phone call and guess who it was... yep it was Patrick. He always calls at the wrong time. I thought both were pretty good and I love the ending and opening songs for VPM. Saturday Tasha came over and woke me up around 10:00 and we went to Wal-Mart to buy the ingredients for her birthday cake. We decided that the man-cake was for the girls and we made a chocolate cake for the guys. While they were cooling we both did pedicures, my feet felt so good! After we frosted the cakes we got ready for the party then went to Tasha's to meet Chris there. So then we went to Winn-Dixie to buy some margarita mix and then we got to Lauren's. We ate barbeque hamburgers and basically sat around talking and drinking for hours. It was pretty fun and the guy's were disturbed by the man-cake, but I was exhausted when I got home and I woke up with a big headache this morning.

Today Tasha and I went to Old Navy to go shopping for her birthday bash Saturday night. She wanted a nice summery outfit and bought a nice blouse/khaki combo with her b-day money she got from her grandpa. I bought a nice red shirt that pinches at the middle but I also want the same outfit that Tasha bought. XD When I get a little more money I'm going to go and buy it. Afterwards we went to the mall and we bought that Clinique lip stuff we've been wanting and got some Chinese food. We tried to find some shoes that would go with her outfit but there weren't any she liked in her budget. We're going to try to find some sometime when we go to buy the cake mold of a male anatomy. XD We're going to bake it Friday night then decorate Saturday before we go to the barbeque at Lauren's house. Well I got to go and study for my math test tomorrow.

Ohhh my head!!!! I woke up with a killer hangover. I went to the Strawberry Festival last night with my buds and Chris got us some daiquris. I have no idea how much they put in those but I ended up pole-dancing on the ferris wheel. For some reason Tasha and I have been in sync all day today. I called her and she told me that she just tried calling me but my line was busy. I was calling her when she was calling me. Then when I went to go call her again the phone ranged and it was her! Talk about strange, not to mention that we kept talking in unison every now and then throughout the night. I tried to buy some shortcake for grandma but by the time I got up to the counter they were sold out. :(

Today after my classes, Tasha, Manda, and I went to the mall and I bought some makeup from Clinique along with their bonus time trial size samples. I am obsessed with getting the bonus times b/c I love trying out the new makeup they have and it's small enough to fit in my purse. They gave me some cool stuff this time such as a makeup brush, perfume, lipstick in my staple shade "Blushing Nude", even a cute pink pill box. They have this cool lip moisturizer stuff that really makes your lips smooth and give them a hint of color. The three of us all want some. After we went to the Dance Box to see if they had a mold for the man-cake Nan wanted to make. They did so one day we have to go back and buy it. I swear when you walk in there all you see is porn like right smack dad in the middle. Manda had to get her I.D. and buy the time she got it Tasha and I were ready to leave. XD

Tasha came by today. She was kinda upset about lack of money for the wedding and she needed someone to talk too and possibly cheer her up. So we got around to talking and she asked me if Nan could make a man cake for her aunt. We asked and Nan said she probably could but she needed some ingredients so she sent us to the store. We got to Wal-Mart and I saw this big Margarita glass lol. I wanted it so bad you have no idea, I just love margaritas! Anyway we bought the stuff, got back, and let Nan go to work. We got some Mickey D's and watched TV in Nan's little apartment. After Nan was finished we saw it and it was hilarious. She broke off half of his manhood so he looked like he had a little stump in between his legs XD. We made all kinds of jokes about it while we were eating it. We're going looking for a mold of a man in some shops to see if Nan could make a even better one tomorrow. When Tasha left I called her cell phone and asked her is she could feel them swimming in her stomach yet. XD

Today I think no one was all there in their heads. In my math class today Professor Autin was trying to teach us quadratic formulas and she kept doing it wrong b/c everyone was confusing her. Lol I felt bad for her b/c she had to redo all her work and she told everyone to be quiet so she could think but no one would listen. Everyone was ready for Spring Break and didn't want to waste the day inside doing math when it was so pretty outside. Afterwards I hung out in the Lion's Den with Charles waiting for Manda to show up. She never came so I have to ask what happened when I see her next time. It was ok b/c Charles and I hardly spend anytime together so it was great to talk to him and hang out.

I saw my Uncle Dale and Aunt Jennifer today along with my little cousin Meghan. She is just so kawaii!!! ^_^ Later mom and me went to Circuit City and she bought me a DVD player for an early birthday present. Then later tonight Steph, Patrick, Peter, and me went to my mom's to use her pool table. We beat the guys a couple of times although we were bothered by Shannon. He was being a big pain in the ass. We ended up wrestling each other b/c he wouldn't stop smart-mouthing me off. Afterwards we watched Joy Ride. It was ok but I don't think I'll watch the sequel. I mean I liked it but the ending was kinda predictable. Bingo, my mom's dog loves Peter lol. He kept humping his arm like 5 times tonight. The rest of us were all laughing so hard it made us all cry and our sides started to hurt. Peter is now known as Bingo's Bitch. lol. I'm going to have to get on to him Monday about that.

I played hooky with Manda today. I just didn't feel like going b/c all we were going to do was a debate so we were like "Let's go to Burger King and get some breakfast." After that we chilled at Manda's house and watched Days of Our Lives then went back to my house to wait for Tasha to come over. The poor girl had 6 deaths in the family all in the time span of 2 weeks. I feel so bad for her and she really needed some cheering up. So when she came we decided to go to McDonald's and get some lunch then went looking at the Ra Shop. We weren't ready to go home and went to play a few games at the local pool hall. I had a blast the entire day! ^_^

Today I didn't suck at pool, I'm so proud of myself. After I played a few games, I went and watched my friend Ferg and his band play a few sets. I got to see Wil today!! Me so happy I saw my buddy. I had my buds Tasha and Manda come over and also Charles who hadn't seen Wil in like forever. We all liked gathered and chilled at my house while we waited for Chris to get off of work to go get ice cream at Baskin Robbins. I've had the huge craving for ice cream all day. Lol so did Manda. I got one of those ice cream shakes they make; I swear I'm addicted. Afterwards we went to Tasha's and played a couple of board games. We had another game in mind but we needed to be drunk for that and no one felt like drinking tonight. So after that Manda, Wil, and I went and ate at the new I-Hop they just built and then came back home. I'm like really tired now.

Ugh I feel awful. My sinuses are acting up b/c of the weather change and it's making me feel hot and achy. Not to mention I slept wrong and now have a big creak in my neck. I took a lot of Aleve but it still hasn't stopped. Spent most of the day cleaning my room and my car. Tasha called and I went with her to help her run some errands. We went to Wal-Greens and I saw an adorable toy hamster dressed up as a ninja with nun-chucks. When you press his paw he dances and sings "Kung-Fu Fighting" in a hamster voice while he spins the nun-chucks. It was too kawaii. Anyways the cashier was flirting with me and while we were walking out Tasha was going on how I should go after him and I was singing "Kung-Fu Fighting" and when I was singing the chorus Tasha accidentally back-handed the coke I was carrying out of my hand. She was trying to point me back in the store to ask him out. Now when I see Tasha I can't help but say, "Everyone was kung-fu fighting...POW!" LOL XD

When I went to class we had a sub for math and she gave us a quiz that we had to do by ourselves. I took one look at the thing and I said "uh-huh no way no how!" My mind went completely blank, b/c I had no idea how to do any of it. It was completely new and I have never been taught it before. So needless to say, I probably failed. Afterwards Manda came with me to the pool hall to watch me play with the guys. I don't know what was with me but I sucked at it today. The only ball I could make was the cue ball lol. Then I went and got my hair cut. It needed it so much, b/c there were a lot of dead ends and I was tired of it. So I got it a little on the short side (short in my opinion anyways). It feels so much better now and more manageable. After that I went to Tasha's to pick her up and take her to my mom's to see if she could fit into my dress from senior prom for a wedding she has to stand in. It didn't fit very well b/c her boobs are much bigger than mine and in that dress mine would almost plop out so you can imagine how Tasha's chest was in that dress. We went looking at some little boutiques for a dress but didn't find any she liked, so we just looked at some things for her wedding. I chilled at her house for a while then I had to go to meet an old teacher of mine at Burger King. I caught up with her on my current events then came home. This is the first time I've been home all day from 8:30 and it's 1:00 now, ugh I don't think I'll be getting up early tomorrow.

Wow I actually got to sleep in today. I didn't have my English class so I didn't have to get up as early but I had an appointment to talk to my professor about the last paper I wrote and my midterm. We went over them and I got an "A" on both of them. I am so happy XD. I busted my ass working on this paper; you have no idea how nervous I was about what grade I was going to get on them. Anyho the fam and me are going to celebrate next weekend. William called me last night and told me he's coming home for a few days from the navy base ^_^. I miss him sooo much, it will be good to see him again. Well that's all I've got to say.

What a way to wake up in the morning! I was nice and cozy, thinking I could get a few more winks of sleep but noooo!!! Nan comes barging in my room, crying because she locked my keys in my car with the motor running and I had hardly any gas left. So we had Pop-a-Lock come and open Kermie (my car), then Nan went to Wally-World and made an extra set of keys so this would never happen again. After that was settled we went across the lake to the mall and I went to Hot Topic and bought a Rainbow Brite t-shirt. I love Rainbow Brite so much, (but not as much as Strawberry Shortcake ^_~) and I didn't have a shirt of her yet. I also got some roll-on shimmer but mainly because the guy at the register asked me if I wanted some for a dollar. He was so cute how could I refuse??? Anyho then I went and bought some black cotton track pants that have New York on the left part of my hip and a white line going up the sides. And to top everything off I bought a silver necklace with a yellow star pendant. Together it makes a cool outfit, and I feel oh so colorful, lol. I went to the bookstore to see if they have the new Fushigi Yuugi graphic novel, unfortunately they didn't have it yet and I think I'll go crazy till I get it. I'm trying to save up the money to buy the DVD's (not to mention a DVD player lol) but now I found out that the movie store is going to sell the Yu Yu Hakusho series. So basically I can't decide which series to get first!

Today was a real icky day. It was pouring down rain and to make matters worse I had to walk around campus without an umbrella because mine broke and I haven't been able to buy a new one. Needless to say, I got drenched! Soaked to the bone is more like it. I can't deny the fact that I am going to get even sicker than I am right now. I just wanted to stay in my nice warm bed and have pleasant dreams about... sore wa hitmitsu desu! ^_^ But I had to go to class and take a math quiz. Ugh this was one of those days where you just want to stay home in your pjs. I don't feel like going anywhere tonight, just want to stay home and watch t.v. Tasha called and I talked to her for a few minutes and we made plans for tomorrow night. (we're doing some kind of dice game?) Since Tasha is pairing up with Chris I have to find a partner too. I'd call Manda but she's at Jenny's tonight I think, and I don't have the number. I think I'll just e-mail her later and ask, but for now I am going to take a long nap.

Ugh what a day! Today was my English midterm and boy was it awful. Professor Bradley gave us a prompt to write an essay concerning the issue of high interest rates from credit card companies. I'm like what the hell... I don't use credit cards so I had no idea what they were talking about in the articles. Basically my midterm sucked, and that bums me out since I worked really hard on my critique I turned in on Tuesday. I hope and pray that I did well on that paper since it goes in my portfolio for the proficiency exam. Not only that but I've been feeling real icky lately. I think I might be coming down with something. My head hurts and I feel warm and achy and my nose is stuffy. It wouldn't be so bad if I was still in high school but now that I'm a college girl, I can't afford to miss any of my classes. Mom's been on the "gotta-get-Tara-a-job" kick and said there was this woman who needed someone to help with a petting zoo. I was going to consider it but when I gave mom all kind of questions she told me just to never mind. She is very funny, my mom. I'm going to try to write the newest chapter of my fic "Forbidden Love" sometime today. I always get rid of my writer's block after several weeks have gone by. Not very productive I know and demand for this fic is really high. Oh did anyone see the moon last night? It was so gorgeous and that was the brightest it will be all year. I just love looking at the moon; I could gaze at the moon forever.

Wow I had a pretty cool day. I got out of my math class ten minutes early and if you know me that is great news. I just can't stand math!!! Also I got my test back from Friday and I made a "C." :) Me so happy, I swear I thought I was going to fail that test. My mind went blank when I looked at it. After class I went and got a new notebook for English and ran into Patrick. We both went looking for Peter and found him at the Lion's Den (that's like SLU's foodcourt) and then we went into the pool hall. Patrick and Peter played against each other for the first game and when Dan came we decided to play doubles. The guys have never seen me play before, so I acted like I didn't know what I was doing. It was so funny having them tell me what to do. I even held the stick wrong for effect. After two games of acting like a beginner they were convinced that I sucked. At the end of the third game they told me to hurry up and lose already, laughing and making fun of me. I thought now's my chance so I ended up hitting 3 of my balls one by one. Two in one corner pocket then the cue ball spun around and hit another ball at the other corner pocket. Needless to say the guys were shocked! They just stood there with their mouths wide open because they have never seen that shot done before, go figure. After they regained their composure I just simply said, "Did I forget to mention that almost everyone in my family is a pool shark?"

Ohmigod I am never going to New Orleans with Tasha again!!! (j/j I probably will) We went across the lake with her cousin and sister because she heard of this place that has the bridesmaids dresses she wants for us at a cheaper price. Well we get there and the place was packed with people waiting to be helped. All of us are like "I'm not going to stay here for this." It was ok we looked through the dresses and couldn't find the one Tasha wanted anyway. So then we had some time on our hands before we had to get back. We all decided to go to the Esplanade Mall and just look around. Well Tasha wanted to get some "toys" for her and Chris from Spencer's for tonight. The only problem with that was Tasha has never been to the Esplanade before. (forgive her she's a country girl in the big city) I've been there lots of times but I could never remember how to get there. All I know was to stay on Veteran's and you'll come across it. At first it was ok but then Tasha sees a sign that says one way goes to downtown New Orleans and the other Baton Rouge. So instead of just taking the one towards New Orleans she turns us around and we get lost in Metairie. Somehow we end up in Kenner and then she sees another sign that says to the airport or William's blvd. I told Tasha to go on William's but does she??? Hell no! We did get to the mall eventually after asking for directions like 3 times. Lol we had this big ol' screaming match about the whole ordeal, but we weren't mad at each other or anything. In fact now that I think of it, Tasha and I have never had an actual fight over anything??? That was one heck of a road trip!

Went to the mall today, for yet another anime video. I originally wanted to get Angel Sanctuary since I saw they had it last week, but as suspected someone bought the only copy. >_< Gladly though I saw they had the new Utena movie so I bought that. I absolutely loved it!!!! The visuals and the symbolism was gorgeous and I love the way Anthy's character design was. Much better than in the t.v series but I like how Utena looked in the series compared to the movie. My fav scene was the whole rose waltz part. ^_^
