OMFG! The Cubs won yesterday! I so wish I were in Chicago right now. I went on the tribune website and saw the crowds. It does remind you of when the Bulls won all those championships so long ago... Though I am not a real cubs fan (or sox for that matter) I do have to show my pride here on this rock, ne?

I think I scared Michiko when I get the message and screamed while dancing in the dorm hallway. ^^

More rhythm Saturday, October 4, 2003 & 11:56 a.m. ::

I think some will be happy to know that other than reading so many of the good RxS fics out there I have been getting a lot done with my own writing. I have been writing my Robin fic at a very very slow pace and and actually getting the next chapter done. I just have to say I have to overcome a LOT of writer's block for this one. *sigh* I get to something good and then my mind goes blank. It sucks.

The same almost goes for my Freyr fic too. I got so far on it then BOOM blankness. I hate it. I think I am worrying about classes too much or something.

On a light note, I got a 101 on my Anthro test. My prof. said I was "ivy League" material. She also said she was proud of my. It gave me a big ego boost that I definitely needed. ^^

I haven't read much OP fics lately. (It's hard to tell which ones are acceptable anymore, boo... but then again.) I did happen to read Nik's fabulous fic and laughed so much. The point of the story is so true. As with the meanings given with Shiru's story. It's war and some have no clue. ^^

I would also like to that my Da for the wonderful cheesecake and Chicago-style pizza he sent me. Luvs! It made me think of home even more.

I have been writing a bit more than usual, but it's between what I'm writing in papers. It's a slow grueling process, but I want the best to come out. Hopefully, I get out of my writers block soon enough for Rendering... Anyone offering to give me some more Remus x Sirius stuff to read? ^^

I think I've just been a bit homesick right now. I just feel like one of those blobs on the zoloft commercials. They make me cry. Mebbe I need more friends to hang out with. I just don't know.

As much as this isalnd is trying to become more of an high tech land, I have to say that instead of just getting new things and trying to learn it, mebbe they should just fix what they have. What I'm talking about is my Geography teacher's stupid WebCT thing. I have been trying to get the notes from it, but they were never uploaded. Or they just don't exist. Why? I have no clue, but the whole thing is pissing me off. I need to at least have a clue of what is the deal with this class. Grr...

Now I have a paper and about 70 pages to read on wars in 18th century Europe. Yay... Damn paper, damn phones, damn school can't get anything done right... *sigh* I'm just frustrated.

I added Lady Jaida's name to the blog list cause she rocks. I love her writings of the HP universe. They're very cool. That and she's a total PoC freak. ^^ Dana, I'll get off my lazy butt soon and add you to the list. Gomen ne!!

Such a humdrum day. Nothing much has happened recently, but I have figured out that I will need to read for some of the classes I'm taking. Poo. I am excited about my History class though. Bitter just rocks as a Prof. Yay!

Katrina emailed me talking about life in Chico and I'm glad she like it there. But she will always be missed among those who knew her here!! She also mentioned about a guy getting hit by a car in front of her. But the guy got up and walked away... I told the Nihongo class about it and then Dana goes "Jackass". It does sound a bit like it doesn't it? Hm...

I get to go to the botanical gardens on campus for EC in my Bio class. Hopefully it won't rain outside. I don't want to deal with wet clothes right now.

I am also venturing into new territory. I am in the process of writing a Freyr fic. Why? Cause he rocks. ^^ I have had an odd obsession with Freyr for the past week or so. Then BOOM inspiration. I think it'll be just a long vinigette, but hopefully a good one.

Mebbe I'll eat dinner tonight. I dunno. I am sick of the damn Kehau food already. That, and I was swearing up a storm last night. I think that was the sleep deprivation talking, but oh well. I need to go shopping... and get a job.

Well, I guess I can say I just lived through my first hurricane. Yet, I am so very disappointed. I was so worked up throughout the past few days seeing a huge thing going towards this island (right towards Hilo mind you)and up until last night was freaked out about it. It turns out that all we got was a few really bad rainfalls and not much else. I think south point got it worse than us, but still. I was expecting a bit more wind instead of nothing. Cause from what I could see out my window was nothing. Boo.

I have to work on my history map dealie. Be talking lata!

My lack of internet has astounded me. The damn school just need to get their act together. I dunno. The year just started and I'm already peeved as hell. *sigh*

My roommate is Michiko, a kawaii girl from Japan who also lived in Idaho for a few years. She's very nice, but her best friend just passed away. I don't know how to deal with things like this very well. I just hope Michiko gets better soon!

Stacey, I have not seen many of the men in da grass skirts, but I'll be sure to notice it when I do. It'll defintely make my day better. ^^

I'm gonna go and watch a movie or get my butt into writing mode. I need to just keep myself occupied...

E-yo. Quick update.

I am now back on the big island and am remembering how much I miss doing stuff. Like go to the city for instance. I think I may go and write some fics. I need to work on that. I have been woring on Rendering, but am having a bit of writers block.

And for you Loki fans out there... mebbe one on Freyr. I dunno. He just interests me. I borrowed some Norse Mythology books from the library here and he is only mentioned briefly. I read that he was a popular God and all, but there are no real stories about him. And almost all of the stories involve Loki being maniacal (bad spelling I think) in some way. Oh, well.

I agree with Shiru, I miss Stacey. And Fum too. Hopefully they'll be able to take time out of their busy schedules to blog... if not, hope all is well.

Well, gotta go and see why my password won't work in the lab back at the dorms. *sigh* So many problems. I won't even start on the phone line, internet, cable that was supposed to be in our room last year...

Can't get any more messed Thursday, August 14, 2003 & 02:21 p.m. ::

Well, the main comp at home is down because of something that was deleted. We can't connect to the internet because some .dll files are missing. On the bright side, I am using my new laptop. ^^ the other was competely ruined and I was able to get this one for 0. It was such a nice deal. And I like this one a lot better. It's got a DSL connection! Yay!

Yet, this means that I can't download any more until I get to school though. Boo. I want to watch some episodes before I go! LOKI, GET BACKERS, NARUTO! I am on withdrawl... wait I still have GB epi. 42 to watch. *smiles* In due time.

Writing update: I am actually starting to write some more. I guess that's a good thing for those who like my writing. More Nico, you ask? I am getting thought bunnies for the next chapter, but it'd still be a while before it comes out. Patience is bliss...

FLCL - Little Busters Friday, August 8, 2003 & 03:15 p.m. ::

Such a dreary day today. Not emotionally but outside its hot, but there's not real sun shining. It's windy too, it'll most likely rain tonight. I like it when it rains, it reinds me of Hilo, but not... I like midwest weather. Snow especially. Oh, it raining now... or has been. I kinda just woke up. ^^

I have now bee casted as a possible three characters. Two of which my snippets are about. Kaya, Makino, or Nojiko. Shiru it's so hard to choose! They all are cool in their own ways! (yet I am so leaning towards Makino) Thankies for the casting, though. I am so honored, if not totally happy. ^^

I'm gonna make my last mitsuwa run next week and then go downtown a couple times before I go. I make it my duty to do this. I'll be taking plenty o pics... I hope.

Not much new here.

For those who care, the Naruto game now has all the locked charas unlocked. Yay! Kyuubi Naruto and Sharingan Kakashi! Both of which attacks are friggin strong and cool. Yet, I will be happy with Lee. His moves are just the best. Becoming one of my all time fav charas from Naruto.

Watching FLCL for the first time on adult swim no less. I'm kind of disappointed I can't get to the pure Nihon stuff, but I'll deal. The trans aren't that bad and the voices fit better than what I can say for most.

Redownloading Loki 16 cause of the weird configuration that the other one had. Mebbe it won't be all splotchy with cubes this time.

Gonna go out with Jill tonight cause she leaves for Charleston on Sunday. She's gonna be an RA.

Thanks to Dana, I now know what books I'm gonna have to buy for classes. I am so happy I work at B&N. 30% discount! Yay! Hopefully the shipping won't be TOO much.

My opinion on the OP coupling thing. Pretty much for ambiguous (that would be the right word, right?) nature of romance in the anime, you are thought to pair charas together. In the manage there is no real problem like that. It's more of a big mutual blanket in that sense. The only thing I can really see is Shushu x Laboon. ^^ I kid. But seriously, there is no real right or wrong pairing. I can see so many people get together, it's scary. Fans just pick and choose. It's that simple.

On another good note, I got me b-day gifts in the mail. *smiles* I'm not too good with the video game dept., but I got me the Gamecube game of Naruto import. That and the Kakashi plushie. I was so happy. I still am. this week just rocks.

Went out to talk with Jilly and Greg too. Didn't talk about much though. I realized that I am a boring sod that doesn't go out and do anything. *sigh* I should really go downtown. I'll do that next week if I wake up before noon. That and the money things. I need to save up for Hilo.

I went to Mitsuwa on impulse yesterday. Got me a mini Ace figurine to accompany my mini Naruto one. I also bought the DX plushie of Naruto after my bro advised me not to get the Kakashi one. (He was on my B-day list ^^)

I updated the bar a bit. The snippets are now in loverly first wing-frame form. I had never done frames before this and I think it turned out pretty well. I dunno. If they're hard to read, just tell me and I'll find a better color for the text.

I am writing a small little Hayate thing. (Much to some peeps liking.) I think thought it'll be a hayagem one though. I just really like the coupling. I can't explain why... it's a curse I'm afraid. *sigh*

Well, I'm going to attempt to play Myst before Joe comes home and wants to play Vice city.

I got angelfood cake for me b-dau cake! Yay! I also work at B&N... it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I think I had only one disgruntled customer. Other than that it was all good. Tracy also got me a Frapp for me. ^^ Carmel... it was good. Until I choked a bit on it. That was embarrassing when I had a customer right there asking where a book was while I coughed to death. OH, well...

I have to wait a while for my birthday gifts to arrive in the mail. *sigh* I got a briefcase for my laptop though... if only it worked. Now that's an idear! I should get off my butt and do stuff the next couple days. Send out gifts/money/etc. I'll be getting my manga in the mail soon enough. Also scored a HP Doujin on ebay. I'll be sending the money for that soon enough.

Well, another great fault happened in the household. My mum and me bro came to pick me up from work tonight. All was well (other than the slobs I had to clean up after... Damn all the customers of B&N Schaumburg!); Stephen (me bro) even got a dollar from my boss Ed (who looks exactly like Andre Agassi on the cover of Deuce magazine). Then it started to pour outside with the weird non-stop lightning we have been getting lately. We had to run to the car; Stephen was scared cause of the storm (He's only 9) and had to wait till Ma had unlocked the door. He jumped in when the door opened, but not all the way. It was then I slammed the door on his foot. I feel so bad. He cried on the way home; terrified of the storm and then the injured foot. Poor boy. I really didn't mean to, but it happened. I swear I thought he was in the car... I need to cheer myself up now...

Wow, new colors to brighten ones day.^^ I'm back for those who care. And if you don't, oh well, not my problem.

Anyway, thankies for Stacey, Dana, and Kat for the moral support with me Da and such.

To make things better my bro got his drivers liscence last Thursday... the got in a minor car crash on Friday. Irony? Mebbe, but he was lucky he wasn't hurt as wasn't the girl he was driving to work. Anyway, the guys he hit didn't have a liscence, two o em' ran off leaving one guy to take the heat. They are probably illegal aliens from south of the border. ^^ Hopefully everything will turn out all right.

I haven't been doing much other than work the past month or so. This week was my first time off in a long while. I am defintely enjoying as much as I can. I got a nice haul in from Mitsuwa. Got me a plushie Shanks (much to the jealousy to you fangirls out there), a couple of Naruto sticker thingies, a naruto figurine, Get Backers tanks no. 12 & 14, and some other phonebook mags. I also got a Naruto DVD with the great Zabuza and Haku arc. *Sigh* I have become a great happy clam.

On top of that BitTorrent has become my new god. I love watchin' Get Backers, Naruto, and Ragnarok Loki... my fav. shows at the moment. I'll try to update with some stuff later. Fics are... not out of the question yet. Mebbe sometime I'll get to writing them, but not right now.
