Back from Vacation
I'm back from my awesomely awesome vacation. I didn't do ANYTHING. Not one thing. My resources ran out so I didn't get to go to Dallas or do anything I really wanted to do. And at the end of vacation, I got a nasty cold which has been with me for over a week. My dad got me the best present ever. He bought me a street legal scooter, or Vespa for short. It's AWESOME! I got a pink vespa for running around in San Marcos. I need to get a class C liscence for it and a class M liscense. I've already ridden it several times and it's wonderful. I need a little more practice on my U-Turns, but it's all gravey. I call it "My Pimp mobile" Heheh. I got LOTS of cool present too. Lot's of Hello Kitty stuff Well, just wanted to say I was back and will be checking out ya'll stuff. Ugh, now I have to go to class tomorrow. It's a new semester! Catch you on the flipside!

Cows are my friend
I've been thinking about the whole vegan deal. While I can't for the life of me go without meat, I think I might lay off the beef. I think cows are some of the cutest (though certainly dumbest) animals on the planet. I also think cats are awesomely awesome. Now I came to the conclusion that I like cats and I would NEVER eat them. Well, I like cows to, but I eat cows. See my dilemna? In conclusion, because I like cows so much, I shall stop eating beef. I cheated today cause I'm eating a BBQ sandwhich right now, so that doesn't count. I'll start tomorrow. Save the cows!

Hideto Matsumoto
I just realized it, but it's almost my birthday...I'm going to be 17, but that's not what's making me all happy. It barely hit me, but I might as well celebrate a birthday for two people because on the 13th (day after my birthday) is Hideto Matsumoto's birthday. He is my all time favorite singer, EVER. That's probably the best birthday present anyone could ever have given me!!! My only regret is that he's dead... I'll do something nice for him and put some candles, a picture, and a bowl of fruit (it's Mexican tradition for the dead). I'm definitely going to do that!

Fall Break
Fall break just finished, but I feel really refreshed from being able to go to San Antonio and visit my family. My mom and I took the bus to San Antonio, but just when we were 5 minutes away from the station, one of the bus' wheels popped. That wasn't even the scary part. The scariest part was the my seat was the one right above the tire that popped. We would have gotten to the station around 4, but because of that little incident, the bus had to be repaired, which took around 2 hours to do. How frustrating! But moping aside, I stayed at my brother's house with my adorable little niece. She's so cute! While in San Antonio, I was able to visit my brothers and sister (all four of them) and my cousins, aunts, and my dad as well. It was so fun! We went shopping and had thanksgiving down there. We also went on a family trip to the bowling alley. That was the best part, all of us did horrbly except for my sister who had been in the bowling team for two years. The worst part about it though, was my niece got her pink ball stuck in the gutter twice which cost us time. I felt so sad when I had to come back to Dallas. This time however, the bus tires didn't bust.

Straight Hair
Soooo, I just straightened my hair and actually wore it to school :D For everyone out there, I have extremely curly hair, so having it straight is a big deal. Well, I decided since my hair was so blah looking straight, I added hair spray to the mix, and it actually stays (well... duh). So, I tried doing some sort of Gackt look from Illuminati, but that failed. I have too long of hair for that, like, it comes mid back. Everyone was staring at me, mostly cause I have one eye covered and the other not (didn't mean for it to look that way) so everyone thinks I'm a freak now. Bleh. Also, I'm wearing this white breaker jacket lined in black with red. Think Miyavi from Jibun Kakumei. It's so cool. So I look really wierd, or cool, depending on who you are. But the fumes from all the hairspray has really gotten to me, my throat's sore. Anywho, yup, that's basically it. Just wanted to update that :D Later Dayz!

UGH
Wow, I'm really tired. I haven't been sleeping good for the past, hmm, I don't know, YEAR. But schools almost over so, YEA!
I went downtown on Monday with a couple of friends. We had to take the train there, but we ended up getting lost, supposedly cause of me, but I doubt that! Hahha, fun! Well, I was starving by the time we go to Mockingbird station, so we went to a little pizza place. Real cozy. We ordered a 14 inch pizza and three drinks, a grand total of 24 dollars! TOO MUCH MONEY! I made everyone eat the pizza, we weren't going to let all the money go to waste. We then walked around and bought stuff, well, my friends did, I'm trying to save up for a concert, so I can't. As we were walking, my friend picked a blade of grass and started playing a tune, well, more like shrill on it. It was fun until this dumb bitch was all like, "UGH, that sound gets on my nerves, that's so immature." We kept walking, but my friend was shouted out, "Some people these days are rude, I hope they fucking DIE!" As loud as he could, HAHAH! So yea, I got home around 10, which was bad, cause I was supposed to make fajitas for a party. In the end, my mom made them the next day. But you can't eat fajitas without tortillas, so I woke up 4 in the morning to shower and start making them. I guess I was running literally on empty, cause when my very last class rolled around, I had my head on the desk and was basically asleep. Since then, I've been even more sleep deprived. Ugh, I feel like my eyes are going to rot and fall out of my head. All in all, though, I'm happy because it's just this week and three days next week, and we're out of school!! YEA!

Hide's death date is coming up... This is for Hide, and for all HIde fans. May his memory live on.
Sometimes people fade away and everything they stand for almost always goes with them. Half the time, we can thank the ever-growing media for these people’s disappearances.
It seemed like almost everything in life was dragged out. The things that should have caused inspiration or a sense of relaxation almost always had a boring and unoriginal feel.
That was until I heard of Hide. Hide who wore electric yellows, neon-oranges, and limes greens with a combo of bright pink hair was the one that broke the mold. Hide who had befriended rock representative Marilyn Mason. Hide who had been lost in the flurry of manufactured talent and, dare I say it, forgotten.
Who was Hide? If he was so awe-inspiring, where was he? Hide was the talk of the message boards, everyone who was anyone knew who he was. He was all over the internet but where was he in real life? My curiosity had reached its peak; I was going to figure out who Hide was.
The words, “Ultimate J-rocker” struck out at me after much searching and dead-end. What was a J-rocker? I read further and learned that “J-rocker” was short for Japanese rock star. No wonder no one’s heard of Hide, he was Japanese, I thought jokingly.
Hide was a singer, but not just any singer; he was the ultimate singer of all time.
My white pointer clicked on the word “Download,” as his very first song was saved onto my music files. I was waiting in anticipation, practically at the edge of my seat when I opened his first song.
The sound of fast electric strumming and the harsh pounding of drums filled my living room and bounced off the bare walls. His voice range was deep, but pitched perfectly in the right places. He sang fast lyrics to a quick tempo and made sharp crisp stops in his song.
His music was something I’d never heard before and sadly, his music was something that I didn’t like. I hadn’t realized how much I had already respected the man until the respect I had for him was basically flushed down the toilet.
I turned off the music and casually glanced back at the website which I had gotten the song. That was when my eyes stumbled across the words, “Date of Death: May 2, 1998.” I was temporarily stunned but overall not affected by this tragic fact. To be brutally honest, the most I would lament of Hide would be his wild fashion and extreme hair.
I fell asleep that night was an unsatisfied feeling. There had to be a reason why he became what he was. He couldn’t have earned the title of “Ultimate” anything without having something in his favor. My determination and Hide’s wild fashion won me over; Hide would get a second change.
Something hit me then, why was I so bent on learning more on Hide? It seemed my mind went purposefully blank. I had no clue why, maybe I was desperate to try something new. It seemed almost on cue that a new and terrible punk rock band started playing on the radio. I grimaced with distaste and turned off the radio. I definitely needed something new.
It took me some searching before I found the song that would change my opinion on Hide. I had been downloading the song for what seemed forever. After almost an hour’s worth of waiting, the song finished downloading. I clicked on it and waited.
To my surprise, what I had downloaded was not a song, but an actual music video. This was my first time seeing Hide in action. Hide was like a ball of energy mixed in with a deadly combination of Jolt cola. He almost always seemed to be smiling, even when he didn’t think the camera was on him. The concerts he threw were wild and filled with excitement. One moment he would be wheel chairing his band mates across the stage, the next he would turn a fire extinguisher on them.
I laughed hysterically at the “on-the-spot” dances he made or was kept in awe at his vitality. To me, it seemed like Hide would stay young forever and continue to make people laugh.
Unfortunately, on May 2, 1998, Hide died on the way to the hospital after an accidental suicide. His case was ruled accidental because of the fact that Hide was drunk when he died. Also, why would an experienced artist with so much success decide to back out of life now?
Whatever the case was, I decided to watch a music video made in his memory. Personally, at his standing and mine, “Junk Story” was Hide’s best song ever written.
Old clippings were used to make the video for “Junk Story.” The clippings were of old and new concerts. I watched as hundreds of people came to pay their respects and say their last good bye to their deceased idol.
The video showed Hide when he was still alive, exactly how he would have wanted us to remember him. It was almost as if he had never left. He was jumping on stage, smiling and laughing, his wild pink hair flying back and forth. And his voice, his voice was still the same, slamming out note after note, always with a fast, hyper tempo.
I realized soon that each time the chorus began; it wasn’t Hide singing, but the audience that had come to pay their respects. Hide’s lips formed the words, but it was the crowd’s voice that sang out his last lyrics, it was the crowd who sang Hide’s ultimate song.
Hide smiled, almost as if he were seeing the crowd of mourners, almost as if he were seeing this phenomenon live, listening to them as they took his voice and gave him theirs.
My eyes watered over and a small stream made its way down my cheeks. I had just witnessed something politicians and rulers had been striving to accomplish for years: unifying the people and making them as one. Whereas politicians used strategies and campaigns with so much energy put into them, one man was able to rally the people with his voice alone. And I witnessed as this one man stretched out his arms as if he could touch the sky, and disappear forever.
To say the least, I cried. I cried for his death, I cried for a person I had never met, I cried for his pink hair and wild fashion, but I cried the hardest because I saw a part of myself in him, a part which seemed to have died along with Hide. Hide had become the one thing he had always hoped for. Quite literally, he really was the ultimate J-rocker.
Ever since I learned of Hide, things weren’t the same. It seemed that things had a brighter look to it, nothing seemed so depressing or routinely anymore. I was happier, not so easily angered, and even my outlook on life completely changed: make the most of what you have, and never give up. Thanks to Hide, whatever burden I had carried on my shoulders seemed to have almost gone away.
Hide’s light, his charisma never truly died. His music, his vision, the very essence he represented made me believe, if only for a second, I could become something which I had only ever hoped of becoming. Just as he had inspired KORN singer, Jonathon Davis or befriended super rock star, Marilyn Manson, Hide’s “junk story” would continue to captivate thousands and bring them the same feelings it brought me. Hide’s fire was truly the fire that lit the world.
Please, if you're a Hide fan, then please save this button on your site, blog, or whatever. Please, don't let his memory die.....
Junk Story By Hide. I said, "Hideto Matsumoto", You asked, "Who?" I said, "Hide", you said, "Forever...."

Well, we've been taking these major testings this whole week at my school. Ugh, they're annoying. Supposedly, what you score on the tests depends on what classes you have to take next year. Wow, the tests are so EASY. I've taken the English, Math, and History tests; WHAT A JOKe. NOw all I have left is the Science test, but I'm actually kinda worried about that one. I'm not so great in the science department. Egh, hope I pass it with decent scores. Anywho, I finally turned in my 15-20 page paper for English class. That was HORRIBLE. Wonderful
Ok, so yesterday Josh and I decided, "You know what, we need to rest," so we decided to go to the mall and walk around. I like going to the mall on weekdays, there are hardly people there. So, my sister decided to tag along, which made things all the more interesting. Three is better than two. Well, we went clothes/window shopping for me. Josh is my fashion consultant and I'm basically letting him dress me. We went EVERY WHERE, hardly any good clothes. I finally decided to buy a shirt from a place called New York and Company, which is basically business clothes. We saw TOO MANY people from school there; too many. It's like 7, so we decide to go get something to eat. Jasmin's craving Chinese food, and I want to see the hot asian waiter again, so we go to the Empress of China! Yayness, so my sister gets her crap ragoons and I get to feast my eyes on the waiter: Alright! The food was SOOooOOooOoOo delicious. We ate our food with chopsticks. Jasmin gave up half way, but me and Josh were holding strong. I like the chopsticks we use in there. Our waiter laughed (politely mind you) at my sister and asked, "Fork easier?" He was sooo adorable. And he's tall too!! Taller than me, which is alot to say for. Well, I'm like, super polite to people I don't know, yes, even to waiters. He smiled at me and was all like, "You scared of me?" I smiled sooo shyly and was like, "Noooooo." SOOO HOT! Well, he was coming up from behind Jasmin so she didn't see him. She pointed to her food and mine and said, "We're taking that." From behind her the waiter just said, "Ok." My sister freaked out! She was all like, "I didn't know he was back there!" That must have seemed so rude. But he knew he sneaked up on her.....SOOOO HOT!!

Just STOP
Really, seriously, stop comparing Klaha with Gackt (that's not only rude to Klaha, but to Gackt as well); and stop saying he should go back to Malice Mizer: MALICE MIZER IS NO MORE (just a fact). That's what Moi dix Mois is there for. Klaha has a beautiful style and gorgeous voice, and until I see your faces in posters and magazines, for the benefit of us all, SHUT THE HELL UP.
I'm really sorry if I ranted to fans who already know this fact, and I'm really sorry to new comers who haven't even come to know Malice Mizer. But I've had enough. Personally speaking, I think being a fan of something, doesn't mean to obsess about it to the point of discrediting people for trying to be something more than what they were. It means supporting something for what it is and helping it flourish. It angers me and PAINS me to know that people have found these grounds to completely tear down a person's credibility and for speaking out against their talents. Those aren't fans. And until they look past that outer shell, people like that won't ever be anything other than zealots.

Bleh
So, today we're studying Japan, which would be great if my teacher wasn't a complete idiot about it. He was reading the title for "The Tale of Genji" and he kept pronouncing in Genji with a j instead of a g. And each time he fucked up the title, I kept repeating the name correctly. People were laughing at him. i hate him so much :) you know when an assignment is forced, nothing good comes out of it, I don't want to do it, so yea. I hate this class. What irks me is that all the anime freaks in here are all like, "OOOOOHHHH, AAAHAHHH, COOOOOL", which is sad, cause anime freaks are wonderful. I dont hate them, I dislike anime ALOT, but that doesn't mean it sux. so it makes me feel bad that the only other japan freaks in my class don't know anything besides the words, "Kimono, samurai, and Inuyasha." GRRR!!! They should at LEAST know what the Tale of Genji is! Grrness, oh well....
