Ok, so I've been doing a bit of web designing and have decided that my whole layout needs to get scrapped for my pitas blog. It just isn't doing it for me anymore. I hope I can come up with something semi-good. Here's to hoping!

Back

from Japan. Well, I've been back for a while now :0 I cant wait to go back to Japan though, I really miss it. It's funny, while I was in Japan I wanted to come home, but now that I'm home, I want to go back to Japan. But, I'm back in the states and just recently moved into my new townhome. It's really cool, only the upstairs toilet sucks balls : Really broke right now too. Sad days. But I am getting to hang out with my good friend Mark whom I was fortunate enough to meet in japan. This weekend I plan to go job hunting, woooo.

I can:t wait! This weekend we:re heading out to Kyoto :) I:m super stoked. I just have to make it through this week *gag* I forgot to mention, but I went karaokeing last week. It was so much fucking fun! I*m having a blast. And this whole 20 drinking age thing is freakin sweet. They don:t even check IDs or anything. Don:t worry, I haven:t gotten wasted or anything in Japan. My meager allowance only allows for 2 drinks every time I go out lol. Anywho, I better get off and finish my homework Bleh. Japan

I*m doing super awesome here in Japan. I LOVE IT! I did get lost on the trains the first day I was here lol but I managed to find my way to school (even though I was an hour late). The keyboards here are wierd so if stuff just doesn:t go, you now know why. I:ve gone to a bunch of temples in the past couple of days and met a lot of awesome people. Hey, guys, I hope ya:ll don:t mind but because everything is so expensive in Japan, I actually don:t have as much money as I calculated. I*m really sorry but I hope ya:ll don:t mind if I bring everyone japanese snacks as souvenires :( I really don:t mean to be cheap or anything, but everything is super expensive here. I have taken a ton of pictures and will post them when I get back to the states. My host family is amazing and I love them all, especially my host mother. She:s an amazing woman. lol, I*m still trying to get used to being stared at on the trains, but I:ll manage. Ok guys class is starting soon. Catch ya:ll on the flipside!

Day 1

It is now 9:55 in Nagoya, Japan. So I set my alarm clock for 8 in the morning. I woke up at 7 ON MY OWN. It was crazy. I got up and threw on some jeans and flip flops and decided to go downstairs for some breakfast. Well, big mistake. EVERYONE there was dressed fashionably. People here in Japan take fashion seriously. I felt so bad wandering downstairs with my bed hair and everything. There were a bunch of other people awake as well. Everyone woke up early lol Our hotel is on an island called Mermaid island. It's really awesome. The weather here is downcast but very fresh. I love it. The air seems so clean. There is also like, zero littering. So far for most of the day I just spent it socializing with the other students who are quarantined with me. It's not too bad. We're just restricted to the hotel site and can't wander around the city. Tomorrow we have to take a placement exam that'll determine whether we get stuck in the B class or A class. I'm a second year, so if I don't get put in A class, it'll be pretty embarrassing >.> Man, I still can't believe I'm here in Japan. It's awesome! I can't wait till we have free reign to go places. I'm super stoked about it :-) I also need to post up pictures, too. I'm so tired right now though. I'll definitely do it tomorrow. For now though, Jaa Mata ne!

In Japan!!

Hey guys I arrived in Japan :D It is now 5:28 pm in japan ;D Don't worry, we didn't get lost. The plane ride was insanely long. Now, we are going to board at 6 to get to Nagoya airport. A whole bunch of us have congregated here at the Tokyo airport. I'm so excited I can't write up a good report lol I'll post more later. See you guys in a month!!!

Eh

Been a while. Went to a going away party last night for the Japanese exchange students and the ration of Japanese to Americans was awesome. There were as much Japanese people there was us Gaikokujin lol Man, we all got HAMMERED. Kensuke-san was fucking passed out on my friend Liz's bed. Taz-san(name?) left and came back hardcore late into the party. I was GONE and made out with this Chinese/Japanese dude BLAH. So gross........ I'm so stupid. I really can't get that drunk again. I really did want Kensuke though lol OH man, Chris took a picture of me while I was passed the fuck out. Damn..... No bueno........... Well, I woke up drunk if that counts for anything. Thank god this semester is almost over.

Update!

Hey, it's been a long time since I last updated. I've just been so busy with schoolwork. This coming week will also be very busy. I have two exams on Monday. They are Political Science and Japanese. Then I have two art projects due on Thursday. I also have to draw three comics for the week. And of course, this does not include all the homework I have to do. Not very exciting :( I have started writing a letter for my potential host family this coming summer. I'm so excited!! I really want to go. So far I have three sentences down. I drew in my own picture but it came out really bad. So it's a good thing, that the paperwork is only a sample. I will print out the real deal later.

Weekday

The weekend is over and I am again ready to start school! I am now well rested. Thank goodness! Thursday was pretty awesome. Went to a party at Liz's house and had an awesome time. Too bad we had to leave early. Then on Friday, I hung out with my brother all day which was pretty fun. I hadn't done that in a while. We watched the movie Cheaters and Strange Wilderness and both were super funny! There was a family reunion on Saturday which was really cool! My mom made LOADS of food which was amazing. Sunday I hung out with at my oldest brother's house and ate breakfast with my siblings. Then went to buy a bunch of candy for my 3D design project. Too bad I can't eat any of it.... Once my sister and I got into San Marcos, we went and had dinner with Floyd at IHOP which was fun! Now, I've got to go draw a comic for tomorrow's newspaper. Not so fun. I totally can't wait till this weekend! Liz, Hengmi, Kasumi, Floyd, Jackie, Estrella, and I are all going to go to the Riverwalk, Frightfest, and haunted house, and other awesome things! YAYAYAYAYAYYA!!!!!

The weekend is here

Warning! This entry is very long.
YES! Finally, it is now the weekend. Yesterday and today were SO hectic! Aside from classes all day, I had a comic to draw and do homework, you know, naturally. But then I went to the Japanese Study Group at 4:30. We actually got NOTHING done. I really want to stay on topic, but we tried this new... activity (?) out. It didn't really fly.... Then, as soon as I got back to my dorm, I had to do laundry and read articles for my PoliSi class. That took a good 2 or 3 hours. The quiz was online, so that only took 15 minutes. Then, I had to do my English homework which took an hour. While I'm doing all of this, I'm washing my clothes. So, my first load of laundry comes out great. I stick my second load of clothes in the dryer. When I came back in an hour, they were still wet! By that time, I had run out of quarters and the front desk was already closed. Now I have to rewash my pants It was like, 11 and I still had to paint my portraits for Color Theory and do my Japanese homework. I actually started feeling really sick , so there was no way I could finish all my homework. My friend is also talking to me on the cellphone for a good hour. So I have to go to bed early. But, I still need to paint those portraits. Today, I woke up at 2:30 in the morning just to finish my portraits. I was not a happy person. But, I did get them finished! Afterwards, I had to RUN to my class because I was already 50 minutes late. But, it was all good, the professor really like my project. I think she thought that I had just woken up because I usually get dressed nicely for classes. Today, I just put on the first pair of pants and t-shirt I could find. Needless to say, I was a fashion disaster. Then, after that class, I went to the bank with my cousin, came back and scarfed down my food super fast because Japanese class started in 30 minutes. I honestly could not pay attention to what Sensei was saying. I was sooooo sleepy. In the end, I decided to skip my last class which is 3d Design. There is no way I would have stayed awake for the 3 hours. I ended up taking a nap, which was amazing! Then, I woke up at 4:30 because at 5 I had to go to Lowes to buy wire for my 3D Design project. And that's how my two days went. Needless to say, I am so happy the weekend in here!

Tonight

I am going to try to get organized. I need to do as much homework as I can this week so that my weekend isn't so packed with stuff to do. The reason for this is I need to finish the first half of my 3D design project on the weekend. During the week, I can finish the second half of the 3D design project. I still don't know where I am going to find the right colored glass for it. Today, during 3D Design, I cut my finger with electric wire. Good thing it was a really small cut and I didn't need a Tetanus shot for it. Working with wire is sooooo hard and boring (for me) Today in Japanese club we learned about like, the Japanese zodia??? I don't know what it's called. Also, we did Japanese rock, paper, sissors. I was terrible! I lost on the first round Alright, I guess I'm going to go finish my homework. Totally not looking forward to it. Lol, I still can't forget what my fried said. "You piedra! Alright alright, NOW I am leaving.

It's October!!!

I am so excited!!! It is now October and Halloween is just around the corner. I love this time of year. I totally want to go to a haunted house. They are sooooo much fun. This Halloween I shall be dressed as a girl soccer player. But with October comes Midterms in school I am sooo not looking forward to them. I have to study hard! I've also become quite the heifer. I eat WAAAAYYYY too much for my own good. Anyways.... Today I cleaned Dante's (my fish)bowl. I felt so bad, I scared him. After cleaning his bowl, he just stayed at the very bottom where all the beads are. Poor thing, he's better now. I had to use my hand instead of a net to get him out. He actually jumped out of my hands three times when I was trying to move him to a different bowl! He's got spunk, that's for sure. Alright, I better start doing my homework, although I really don't want to Will write more as life throws more surprises my way. TTYL and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

Allergies

This past week I've had a stuffy head and have been sneezing and coughing up a storm. No bueno. I also took two exams and turned in a paper on Monday, but it was fun, no stress! Well, maybe the paper. I had slept very poorly this entire week and it showed today. I woke up at 11! Well, not entirely true. I woke up around 7 because that's when I'm used to getting up, but I had no desire of actually getting OUT of bed. It's also super cold in my room. I've done this thing since I was a kid where when I go to bed, I throw the covers over me so that I'm completely covered head-to-toe. It was a big surprise for me to wake up with the cover still covering me completley. It is WAY too cold in here. Some friends are coming down for the weekend, too! Excited about that. We're having a Japanese cooking party this Saturday, so that's cool. Of course I am going to be broke, with absolutely no money to my name until the end of this month when I get paid. Joy. I have a busy busy week. Have to draw three comics, finish my 3d Design project. FInish my color theory sketchbookworks, or I think I'll do those in class and start my main project... hmmm. But I also have to do my Japanese homework and my English homework. Let's not even start with Political Science. I am NOT reading those chapters. All in all, life is busy and for me, that's what I live for

Apparently

I can't have candy anymore. I haven't eaten like, straight up candy in over a year. So two nights ago I bought myself some Reeces. I got a bad stomach ache that night and I felt super nauseaus. The next day my friend gave me some M&Ms, same thing happened. Because I haven't had candy in so long, my body isn't used to it anymore. In fact, it acts as though candy is an enemy... I have been so lazy. This is ridiculous, I can't even think about what I'm going to write. So, apparently I can't sign into ANY of my photobucket accounts. I only have two. I know both of their passwords, or at least I thought I did. But for some odd reason, I can't log into them. This upsets me soooo much. Then, when I try to get them to send me my reseted password, the email NEVER makes it into my inbox. My spam guard isn't even up. How the FUCK does it not make it? I was super mellow when I got onto my computer and suddenly I'm getting angrier by the second. Stupid Photobucket and their defective website. It even told me to try back later >: I can't access my pictures or the emoticons I was using. It's like someone changed my passwords on me. I hate photobucket so much at the moment.

I finally updated my website! After, what, a year with the same layout??? Yea, that sounds about right. So instead of keeping on my rigid schedule made to make sure I finish all my homework, I took the day off and decided to do something fun Boy will I feel it tomorrow though. So I'm probably going to get a new phone next weekend, which I am psyched about. I just want this week to be over with.
