Class Started Today

So yea, classes started today. I'm totally stoked. So far they went by super awesome! I think I'm really going to like Japanese and Fencing. My other classes are more like, "Oh well." I still haven't gone to my art classes, so I guess I can't pass judgement just yet. I just hope this semester was better than last semester. My god it's so hot outside!!! As soon as I stepped out it felt like I had entered a sauna. Mexico, Oh yea

Oh yea, about Mexico. Well, I got sick, for almost the entire week. But I did meet more of my cousins, which I really like. They're cool! I took my gringo friend Anna with me. Vacation

Last day

Tomorrow is my last day of finals, or rather, last day of this semester. I'm so excited, yet sad. I have to study my ass off to get a good grade of that stupid Comm exam and geography exam. Also, I need to move out all my stuff from my room to the lobby and check out. My roomate gave me the carpet we shared in the room. She's so awesome! I'm gonna miss her:[ I bought my friend's mini fridge, which looks pimp! I gonna miss her too! What I won't miss is all the homework >D Then I get to be with my Gabriel the whole time! Yayness!! Man, I've been so hooked on the Taiwanese Drama of Hana Kimi. It's really cute and I like the main actress, Ella. She's really cute and good at acting. Final Exams

Well, those final exams sure are hard. I think I may have bombed my math exam. Gosh, I hope I didn't, cause then I'm screwed. I really want to sell back my math book, I'm sure I'll get some good money for it. Studying's a bitch. I have to study stupid Communication crap, then Geography. But I actually like Geography. Bah! Tomorrow I'm heading off to the library soon as I shower and straighten my hair. I'll be there all day. ALL DAY. I really need to make an awesome grade on this test, otherwise I'll fail the class. Sick, Again

Oh yea, I got sick again. I had woken up feeling normal, but I was in the library studying my notecards for my speech at around 8 am when I started feeling a headache coming on. My problem is, when I get headaches, it usually means I'm going to get sick. Sure enough, I went back to my dorms, and it just worsened. When I got to class, I was feeling even worse. While the professor was lecturing, I felt the horrible urge to use the bathroom; During his lecture, full of over 300 students Thankfully, he was really sympathetic, and excused me from his lecture. So, as soon as I found the bathroom, I yacked. It was horrible. But I did feel better, so I was able to go back to lecture. Then, I had to walk across campus to Speech and give a lecture myself on the importance of becoming Bilingual. I did a horrible job(according to my table mates, my speech was fantastic, THANKFULLY!), but I was feeling horrible, so it matched. When I got out, it was raining cats and dogs, but because I had my umbrella, I thought, "Hey, I'll be ok." I had to cross a raging river (slight exaggeration). I eventually had to take off my sandals (thank god I wasn't wearing the heels I wore for my speech) and made it to my dorms. Soon as I dried off I got dressed into some boxers, pjs, and several layers of shirts. Then I curled up in my covers. My roomate and I watched some excorsism story, then I fell asleep. I skipped all my classes for the day, I felt too sick to go. I was awoken by a text messing telling me there was a Bomb Threat at the Student Center. I freaked and got dressed lightning fast because my brother works at the Student Center. Then I remembered that he was in class at the moment. THANK GOD. I waited a while to see if he would call, but he didn't, so I went and got a jumbo burrito with some chips and salsa. I came back to my dorms and finished it. My friend called me and asked me if I wanted to eat lunch with her and her roomate. Hell yea I did! I was still hungry, so I went to eat lunch with them. I got a grilled cheese sandwich, some steamed carrots, and something else that I can't remember. I also got hot chocolate. Yummy! Well, I should really get to studying for my math final, it's this Wednesday! Take care you guys.

Weekend

I had an interesting weekend. Friday, getting drunk in the dorms again. Saturday, my sis picked me up and took me home. I decided to take care of some abandoned kittens that we found. They were so small and didn't have their eyes open yet. My sister was ass broke this week and my dad still doesn't know we're taking care of them. I spent the entire night taking care of them. I would wake up at 4 hour intervals to feed them, then try to stimulate them to have a bowel movement. Unfortunately, Sunday was one of the saddest days (in my life). One of the kittens, the smaller one, died. He had trouble breathing for about ten minutes, then finally gave up. Needless to say, I cried the rest of the afternoon. But his brother is still alive, so while I'm here at my dorms, I've been looking up info on how to care for newborns. I really wish we could take him to the vet. I just hope this one pulls through. He's a little bigger than what his brother was, but he still hasn't opened his eyes. I hope he makes it. I couldn't stand losing another kitty.

Sick

I got sick last night. Which was horrible. I had one of the worst headaches in my life coupled with intense nausea. It was horrible. Luckily, I didn't puke, which is what I was very grateful for.
So I have my bowling exam tomorrow, and I'm hoping I do a freakin awesome job, though I know I probably won't. I wish they gave us a list of stuff to learn but no, they didn't. So I'm just shooting in the dark with this one. I also have to finish my speech by Friday so I have all Saturday and Sunday to practice it infront of my mirror. Next week is my last week of school Time has passed so fast.

Bomb Threat

Texas State has recieved yet ANOTHER BOMB threat. That makes two bomb threats in two weeks. What sux is the building where the bomb threat is targeting is right across my dorms. Like, I'm right across the street from them. This is horrible. Whatever person is doing this is a total nut job. If they're just doing it for shits and giggles, IT'S NOT FUNNY. Well, I seriously hope a this bomb threat is just that, a threat, but not action. This is horrible......

Weekend

So I had a fun weekend. Friday my dad picked me up from college and we drove to Elmendorf together.
We visited my ex uncle and his companion who's daughter is married to my cousin. We talked inside for a good time until my dad told me it was time to go. Then we went home and bought some beers and wine coolers. We chilled outside, drinking beer and talking about anything and everything. Mostly we talked about his days in the Mexican army. Just reminiscing. It was nice, I don't really know much about my father, he used to be JUST a father. Like, he had the title father, but not the affectionate name of "dad" like he does now.
So it was really fun talking to him. I really wanted to see my sister, who the day before, had a bad accident with my moped. Poor thing She scraped her arm very badly. Now she doesn't want to ride my bike at all. Saturday, I got together with my buddy Jackie(Jacklyn) at the River Walk. My sister Jackie(Jaqueline) tagged along. lol, they both have the same names. We had an awesome time! We walked around the river and inside the mall. My sister bought some new sandals since her shoes were hurting her. There was this fancy little restaurant right beside the river that we decided to eat at. There were only two problems: 1) it was super expensive 2) It served sea food. Anyone who knows me knows I HATE seafood. The only things I really like is fried cat fish or tilapia or grilled tilapia. Every now and then I can eat shrimp. Well, I ordered some lobster bisque which, I'm sure was DELICIOUS, if you liked sea food. I hate seafood, thus I hated lobster bisque. We survived though. From there we went back to my Jacklyn's house and chilled. Soon after we left back home. Sunday was probably the most exciting day because Sunday we added a new family member to our little shmorgashborg. Well, I had been craving chorizo and egg tacos, so we went to my aunt's restaurant and ate there. My cousin Ismael comes up and tells me they have a kitten out back.
So I went to go check it out. This creature was so small and precious! Anyone who knows me knows that I love two types of animals: 1) cows 2)cats. Soooo, I'm a sucker for cats, so I decided that this animal was going to have a warm house to live. I.E., he came home with us. It was so cold outside the poor thing was shivering. He had at least 4 ticks on him and at least 60 burs and stickers in his fur. He was really friendly though. We gave him a super ultimate bath and applied some tick medicine which removed the ticks in like, and hour or two. Afterwards he stayed with me the rest of the day. I love him! His name's Kamikaze cause he's a fighter! My dad still doesn't know he's living in the house ^^; We're going to have to break it to him. That makes four cats, 1 dog, and two fish. God, I love animals.... So yea, last night I woke up to the heavy smell of crap. Sure enough, there was a huge ole piece of crap on my froggy plush. Eeeeeewww! He
also peed on the bed He's not potty trained which just surprises me because every single cat or kitten I"ve gotten was potty trained. Even my Gabriel who was about as old as Kamikaze when I adopted him. Kamikaze eats the cat litter, so I had to take it away and put it in a different corner. Ugh, we need to get
him trained. But you know, he's one of the cutest kittens I've ever seen. He could be on some friskie's commercial Anyways, I'm getting a little hungreh, so I'll be writting later. BYEZ!

Diet and excersize

That's it, I need to lose weight. I currently weigh 128.2 lbs and it's starting to aggravate me! I used to weigh 116, what the hell happened?! Well, that was Freshman year of highschool, but that's no excuse!!! I need to lose this fucking weight. I want to look good in my two piece! That's it, I'm going on a strict diet (or semi-strict). 1. Not so much grains (rice, bread, tortillas, etc.). 2. Eat a light breakfast since it's the most important meal of the day. 3 Exercise every day. I need to weigh myself and make sure I don't weigh insane amounts. I want to look fit and firm. I'm sick of looking in the mirror and gagging at what I see. My diet starts next Monday (seeing as how I need time to mentally prep for this). 116, here I come!

Virginia Tech

By now, everyone's heard of the Virginia Tech shooting. Because of the shootings, no one feels safe on campus anymore. I don't blame them. It's horrible what happened at V Tech. I couldn't even imagine that happening here at Texas State. They're holding a memorial service here at Texas State for the families and victims. I wish I could go, but I have class at that time.
On a happier note. I think I might have passed my Math exam today! Yes! Finals are a comin! Gosh, I
hope I can pass all of them. I must study hard! I can't wait to go home! I'm taking back my computer, so I need
to find a computer desk for it, mad quick. I'm also buying my friend's mini fridge off her, so I get to stick that in my room. Awesomeness My room's finally going to start looking like a room! Finals/End of Semester

Finals are a coming: Fantastic. So I have loads of homework and research to do for my classes. I need to study for the last math test before the big cheese. I need to find a topic and make a speech for speech class. I need to study for my geography test which is, I don't know when Oh boy, lucky me! But it's all gravey. It's not hard (except for math) it's just a lot of homework. The end of the semester is coming up! I need to start sending stuff home so when I do move out of my dorm, I'm not carrying everything with me. That would suck. OH hell! I forgot about my million ton computer, which is gonna be a dick to carry down the stairs Other than that, I am looking forward to the end of the semester! I can go home and spend time with my family. Yes! Ahhh, this is good! I also can't wait to go visit Mexico!!! WOOO, best part of the summer. I love Mexico, and when I get old, that's where I want to live. Even my Geography teacher said in class that out of all the places he's been (and fucking hell, he's been EVERYWHERE) Mexico was his favorite place of all. Kudos to him. Ahhhh, summer. I love you.

Well, around 7:30 my friend calls me to meet her up at the college run bar. So I do. Turns out there's a free concert going on by local rock bands. I actually had a good time! The first band was so so, quite mediocre. The second band had a little more pizaz! The final band was absolutely awesome! They were very charismatic, the songs they sang were GOOD, and they ended up doing their own drumline skit. The two guitarists came out wearing trashcans and holding pot pans and started bashing on themselves. Kind of like STOMP. Hilarious, but it sounded good. I had such a good time.

Hair

My hair has grown considerably since I last had it professionaly cut. I had it cut and styled like Miyavi's, but that was last year. It's long now, and thick. That's not good cause summer's here are horrifyingly hot. I want to get it thinned out and restyled, but I'm still not sure what type of hairstyle. Something if left down will look stylish on its own, but can be swept back in a pony tail. The fact that I keep trimming it crappily doesn't help my situation any. I guess I'll have to research the different types of hairstyles. Hmmmm, I do want a hairstyle for straight hair: sorry, I'm not ready to commit to my hair just yet. I'm wondering if I should try to add some highlights or just dye it all black. Not sure yet. Aghghgh, I want a good hairstyl!

Scratch what I said in my previous entry. I finished the manga (yes, that fast >.>) I really couldn't wait, I'm a very impatient person. I guess the ending was satisfactory The "ending" was quite unsatisfactory. For one, I wanted to see Misa die, which didn't happen. Also, such a weak ending to such a head hurting manga. Light should have, I dunno, exploded or something. Something intersting. Too bad. I wish L could be brought back to life :) That would have been cool. Cool like L! Oh well. Death Note Anime

I'm watching the Death Note anime which is turning out to be interesting. I hate anime, I really do. I skip half the parts where Light's trying to act all bad-ass and laughing "evily" and I skip lots of the excess banter. Whenever Misa comes on, OMCHRIST, I get so aggravated my eye twitches. Her voice is annoying. HOWEVER, aside me bashing it, this is actually an interesting anime and if I had to wait to watch it on television, I would have gone crazy. Needless to say, I'm addicted. Ugh, the worst part is now I have to go out and buy the cunting mangas.... such a waste of money. (I'm a college student, so I need the money for things like FOOD, tuition, paying off loans, etc.. If I was a person who could afford them, fuck yea! Sadly, I'm not...) I really like L, he's coo'. Well, I'm gonna finish off the last off the rest of the T.V. series that are out some other time. I just finished watching the movie Death Note (yea, just now). Let me say, it was freken awesome! I REALLY loved it. I thought both L and Raito/Kira were awesome at acting and fell in love with both the characters. Woooo, well, for anyone who wants to know if Death note is worth the watch: IT IS!! I give it
a 10/10. It's really witty and leaves you wondering what Kira will do next. Awesome movie!

Well, my friend Yajaira told me about the indian race in Chiapas, Mexico being treated like, well, crap. They have little to no rights, their children get no education, they are being evicted from their homes. Basically what the U.S. did to its Indian population. So I've been reading up on it and about the Zapatista Army of National Liberation (EZLN) and one of its leaders, Subcomandante Marcos. I must say, I am beginning to admire this man. He's fighting for a race of people not his own, but because they're Mexican, he cares. I'm thinking I want to order some of his books to read. He seems very interesting and very educated.

Relax

Well, the weekends finally here, so I decided to relax. My friend calls me 'round 6:30 p.m, here's our conversation:
Her->"Hey, you wanna come over around 7:40 at my dorm? We're making jello with a few of the girls.
Me-> "Yea sure, jello sounds good."
So, 7:40 rolls around and I'm there at her dorm. We're all sitting around, talking, laughing.
Her-> "Wanna try out some of the Jello? It's strawberry and the other one's peach/watermelon."
Me-> "Sure, sounds good."
I take a bite and so far so good. Then the after taste of alcohol sets in.
"BLAHHHHH!!"
So yea, we all sat around taking jello shots and playing Categories. It was super fun! Later we went to one of the local Hookah bar and smoked some pretty good hookah. Went back to the dorms and finished the jello shots. Which were awesome! All in all, I've learned that whenever my friend says the magic words "hang out" it usually involves alcohol. Hopefully tomorrow we all go out to a few parties. Do some UNWINDING.

My new Layout

Wooh! My blog is looking for and more like a proper pitas site! I'm so happy, yes yes! I still need to fix the "LIve on Stage" but it can wait. Well, tuition fees are coming up, and I STILL can't pay it. I'm going to see if my sister can take me to go apply for a loan so I can pay off tuition. You know, I LOVE making websites, but I just can't keep up with these payments. I think I'm just going to go to beauty school and be a make-up artist or something. Maybe after I accumulate my OWN money, I can go back to school and finish up what I need, but I'm totally going to live in my own apartment. Hmmm, I'm getting kinda hungreh! Layout Change

I'm still working on my layout, so it looks a little off at the moment. Apparently I have this HUGE gap between the main image and my entries. I'm going to fix that soon. Exams over

Well, I'm done with Exams so here's how my day went:
5:16 a.m: Go to bed
7:18 a.m-9 a.m: Wake up, get dressed, practice my speech
9:00 a.m: Take Math Exam, completely bomb it (I totally didn't know what Iwas doing plus I forgot my graphing calculator which made it worse.
9:41 a.m: Back at dorm study some geography for my next test
10: a.m: Take Geography Exam, don't know how badly I did
10:41 a.m: Back at dorm, change into "professional attire" and prep for speech last time
11:00 a.m.: First up to give speech, do amazingly well o.O
11:40 a.m.: Dress back into street clothes
12:00 p.m: Final class of the day (YES!!!!) Try to pay attention, didn't do so good of a job at that
1:00 p.m: Take a nap
8:00 p.m: Wake up I'm going to go back to sleep soon. There's no way I'll be able to stay awake.... However, this day didn't go to badly, I was surprising awake and alert during the entire day until my last class. I have never slept so long and so well: I hope I can get some sleep tonight. Taking account on how "alert" I am right now, I say I'll have no problem going back to bed. Adios Amigos!

Exams

I have two exams today, one right after the other and 1 speech to give that will count as an exam grade right after my last test. Aint I a lucky bitch. I'm supposed to wake up in about two hours, but I haven't even fallen asleep... Sad I did a shitty job of studying for my other exams and I'm clearly not ready to give a speech on my topic. It's an interesting topic (haunted house), but for some odd reason, I've lost my magic touch at giving speeches. Not only that, I haven't done my homework for my other classes and I have a feeling I won't get around to it. Why does college need to suck such monkey huevos? Ugh.... Seriously, I need to take a LONG vacation. My friend recently cut herself WITH A BUTTER KNIFE (on accident, she was cutting up a piece of rice crispies treat) and had to go get stitches (poor thing). She couldn't shower for an entire day Brave her. I'd have died.
