Jaaaaaam...
Chris Morris' throroughly deranged show, here for your downloading pleasure. I do love this show, really I do, but chances are some of you will lose respect for me for liking it at all...

Who-ho-hoa.
Sorry if I got your hopes up. This has nothing to do with that strange story about the government of Spain planning on "creating" a second christmas, to help prevent the sort of purchasing rush... that I've just made up.
No, this link is here, because it is, without doubt, the single most ingenious thing I saw on the day I first saw this. I have seen something else since, but I'll link to that another day. And besides, you probably won't be as impressed with the other thing.

Be A Legend In Your Pseudolifetime!
Wow... this is ingenius. And, think about how much sense it makes.
However, I'm a bit disconcerted by the test. It's another one of those "technicall you're not who we're looking for, but we won't tell you that. Congratulations, you passed!"
But maybe they just know you better than you know yourself. You heartless money hungry fraudster.

Aaaargggh!
Please... say it isn't so!
Nooooooooooooooooo...!

Another Certificate For The Wall!
Okay, last one, cuz I really gotta pack (I always do this sort of stuff when I've got other stuff to do, well known fact - it wasn't for the ratings at all).
Anyway, just been to the Puma site, and went to "Platinum". It then asked me to take a test. Being the fan of tests that I am (especially aptitude tests... hmmmmm... reasoning)I agreed. I failed. Miserably. I think I guessed the time it took to get from London to Outer Mongolia or something, and, by process of elimination rather than hard knowledge, figured out the contents of a Cosmopolitan cocktail.
Apparently, I passed the test.
I therefore defy you to fail. You'll probably get a question right trying to get it wrong (cuz you didn't know the actual answer), and pass anyway.
How dumb...

The Trick Is...
To do as many entries as possible. Cuz then you're always in the top 10 or at least top 50 of most recently updated. Currently I'm second, and I got about 20 visitors just cuz I was in the top 50. The guy I'm linking to is the place above me... until I press "send" that is! Aha! (achem..)

I Almost Closed The Lid!
Boxfresh! I almost forgot boxfresh. Who, along with DKNY and Gas complete the triumverate of cool tops I've brought in the last month or so (not including the more recent Urban Stone dodad). Maybe it's just my computer, but maan that site is sloow. Anway, for my next trick, I'm gonna scrounge some money from somewhere to buy some trainers. But which ones?
now, a little word about all this fashion label jockeying i've been doing. i like the idea of "cliques", they appeal to my... elite... cliquey side... so i like fashion labels cuz they do it better than anyone. and also, since fashion labels tend to originate designs, and i like original designs. i'd rather pay more if it goes to the people who actually worked hard to come up with their design, than someone who just blatently ripped it off. "it looks just like dkny, but it's only a 10th of the price". yeah, cuz they had to do a millionth of the thinking to design it.
and yes, i'm a label whore. sorry.

Up In Flames!
Firetrap. Yes, those kooky kids who used to have their ads done by Output fave Me Company. I like their work. I used to like Duck And Cover, but they copied one too many other people. But so far so good. It looks like I'll be broke before I know it... and I haven't even got on to the gizmo's I'm gonna get......
But next time, eh?

Round And Round
Full Circle. I have a jacket by them, and it's wikkid. I almost brought a shirt (but it was 3/4 length sleeves), and I hate shirts. So whatever my next shopping spree involves it'll almost certainly involve a Full Circle... something... And I'd put money on me coming home with more clothes from...

The Simple Touch
Gas. In fact their slogan is "keep it simple". And they do. But they also keep it quite stylish. Nice materials, good fits, that sort of thing. So, I might invest in another of those cool grey tops... although why I'd want to repeat what I've already got (and am quite happy with) I dunno. I'll see what else they've got. I might get a nice wooly jumper. Or failing that, pretty much anything as created by...

The Slightly-Less-Expensive Stone Island
Urban Stone. I got 'em £10 quid off (it was still £5 over what I wanted to spend but hey!). Black, a size too big, but worthy, in the long run. It's a smart fit, despite being a bit wide. Still, I don't see me investing too much in their gear. I definitely prefer the minimalist stylings of...

But I Don't Live There!
DKNY. Or, as I only found out this week, Donna Karen NY. Hmm... although I must admit (and this is where I do sound a tad gay), they do make ver' nice ladiesware. Anyhoo. I saw a DKNY top/cardi that I would buy, if it wasn't for the £80 (aka double my price range at the time) price tag. Too expensive, despite being almost perfect. Instead I went for...

But What Does It Mean?
6876. I remember the number for some lengthy complicated reason. Not because I remember the number though. That's always been my problem. I'm crap, in fact, at mental arithmatic, cuz I can't just "do" sums, I have to work half a dozen systems on them. But the 6876 top I saw was très swish. In grey, square neck, £30 in the sale (reduced from £50 or summut). But not in my size - Obviously. Which wasn't the problem with...

Ananagram
French Connection (UK). But why do they have US as the first option, when it clearly says UK in the title, and they don't even send catalogues to the US. Prolly cuz you can pick up FCUK stuff anywhere. And I do. Regularly. Too much, probably. Although I did see something I haven't got any of the other day... it was...

On The Subject...
Of clothes, as, clearly, I now am, I need some new ones. I need lots of new stuff. Loads. So I'll like to all the brand names I'm liable to buy, because they're fashion labels, and therefore should, technically, have decent sites. At the moment I've only seen FCUK and Sonneti recently. This one's Sonneti, the next one will be...

Rondam Is My Middle... Wait..
Random, even.
Anyway, I think I finally have my first link from a complete stranger since I started this design (or at least since "records begin") about a month ago. How sad is that.
Well it's good, cuz the person who linked me seems herself to be quite skitzy on paper (this is A Good Thing, cuz it helps me to feel... if not sane, then "normal"). It's a bad thing, cuz the person who linked me doesn't know if I'm a he or a she.
My aura is obviously confusing y'all. Interesting...

Yes, More "The Matrix" Antics
Not nearly as funny, but this is where we got the link from (sorry, that was a bit pointless, now I think of it). Anyway, this is worth visiting for the javascript routine (or whatever it is) that gives that eeries "are they watching me" feeling. Of course, you won't feel that, cuz I've just told you you will... hmm...
I'll shut up now. It's still cool...
Doh!

Matrix Related Entry: Number 1 of 2
This is very funny, and extremely painful. It's the type of joke you can kinda guess the ending to, but... ah you just were expecting that.
» 6:57pm Saturday 6th January 2001

Aww... Ain't That Nice
It's a rather unnecessary Two Stupid Dogs reference. You either get the joke then think "what a prick, that's uncalled for", or you don't get the joke, but think that I'm being harsh anyway, cuz I've made such a big issue of it.
Anyway, a link from Invention13 (see the links below, closest to the arrow), Aquula.nu is a nice site. As per, nowadays, not as flowery as they used to be, but it's cool. Modern is all the rage. However, I'm a bit annoyed that even at this unwieldy 800x600 screen, it's still too wide. It's a nice picture at the top there, I just don't see why it had to be so wide, that all. What's that extra space being used for, that's what I want to know. Nothing, that's what.
But one thing I do like that Invention13 does as well is that "pop-up or no" checkbox they've got. Whoever first create that, my hat goes off to you.
Result.

"Put The ____ Back Into Country And Western"
I'm having a good Music week. I got "Oh No" on the average Lyricist Lounge album, I got the average single from the amazing Nextmen album (which I got last week), and I got the supreme Midfield General album Generalisation, which has the fantastic (an I mean all those superlatives) Midfielding, about the English woodland creature's attack on Africa. I almost died.
I've seen the video to Oh No (Nate Dogg, Mos Def and Pharaohe Monch), and the video to Midfield General (the head of Skint records - Fatboy Slim's label)... both are worthy of all the praise I can heap on them. I spent over £15 on each of these albums, just because of the songs and their videos. That good.
"Yes, Hullo"

Speaking Of Comebacks
After the timely return of Ms ExReflections, we also see the low key return of one of my favourite flash sites. I'd just written an entry on Retroscope's guestbook saying "but Yugop isn't back yet", but actually, it is - mainly. So... whoops. And so's the old site (version 2.0), which is an absolute classic.
