Negative Positivity
Again
a new term starts,
Disorderly class schedules
Confused states of mind,
Heavy-laden sleep deprived eyes
A joyous
union,
Despite certain "plastic cover-ups"
I begin my journey down the concrete corridors,
To be greeted by new sea of thoughts
Boredom,
disappointment and endless banter,
Away from pleasure, away from sense
Fight back sleep, please fight back negativity,
Alas I lost, sleep succumbed me.
The hell.
A brand new week of a new school term. I do not absolutely feel even 50
percent. The feel of awkwardness for some of my classmates after bearing
the scars of post-depressing Newswriting and TV Production is overbearing.
Feeling really neutral, I await for time to pass as I push away rotten
thoughts of the semester. Only the first day, and I hear some classmates
bitching about another. My, my...talk about rotten poison in the air.
I try close my ears mentally. I mean I don't care who fucks up or who
fucks each other up, either way as long as I can work with them and get
decent grades. Somehow things are just different. First day; sucks, sucks,
sucks. After getting home at around 4:00pm and lying on my bed, did I
feel really good. Ah...peace and quality time to myself. Been long, my
friend, its been long.

Sweat, tears and relief
The
wedding was a huge success yesterday, what not with the air-conditioned
community centre at Jurong Spring Community Centre and that it was new
and clean. All of us did our best, clearing the tables, making sure the
guests are comfortable and ensuring the sound system to give the best
atmosphere from the sounds of keronchong and other javanese music. The
food was good and the groom, my cousin Nasuhan looked really pleased and
satisfied. Its really sad that he's not gonna be around much after this.
And of all people he married that branded, slang-speaking bitch me and
cousin Rita went to New York with. Whatever, we hope he's happy. Don't
really like the girl's family that much. Had a bad fall due to the rain
while saying goodbye to some relatives outside the CC. Embarrassing, bloody
klutzy me. Anyway later today I will be goin off to Kuala Lumpur with
my auntie's family for about a week. Need a really good break and what
else..shopping after a strenous week of wedding preparations and tears.
Been long since I listened to my Kula Shaker K album. To divert the topic,
well Crispian Mills is bloody hot.
