It's really fun.
When I was little, I loved to play Duck, Duck, Goose. That game is the epitome of wild and crazy little-kid fun. Don't you remember sitting around in a huge circle, in UTTER anticipation as some other kid walked around the circle saying.. "duck, duck, duck, duck..." WHO was gonna' be GOOSE?! Would it be YOU!? Nope. It was the kid 2 spots down from you.
"GOOSE!"
Remember how the "goose" would frantically dash around the circle like he was being chased by some kinda' mountain lion? He KNEW that if he was tagged by the runner, he would meet a fate worse than death.

So, I guess I'm lucky that in my life I have a lot of things that make my heart smile. Watching my baby sister play, or my baby bro try to smile. Having a heart to heart with mom. Talking to Steph on the phone about absolutely nothing at all, or talking to Sara online about our deepest soul secrets. Running with Flores so that he can PUSH me to lose those FOUR more pounds I need to lose to become a Marine. The United States Marine Corps, in general. Yeah, I'm a lucky kid.
It's kinda' funny tho.. how it only takes ONE something missing from a life, or ONE something outta' place to make all the something beautifuls seem far away..
