method to my madness

layout: this layout features 'Puck' from 'Gargoyles'.Yes,that Puck. In the series continuity this Puck is indeed the same Puck that Will wrote about in 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. He's one of my favorite cartoon characters (gasp, and he's not even from an anime). Me and my friends started started talking about all the cartoons and stuff we used to watch way back when's and Gargoyles was brought up. I remembered what a great show it was and looked up some gargoyles sites on-line. I'm working on a puck site now myself. He doesn't appear that much in the series (only four episodes in season two: the mirror, future tense, the gathering part two, and possessions) but you do see him in his human disguise, 'Owen Burnett', almost all the time.Want Puck info? Get it from the source. Puck is voiced by Brent Spiner whom many of you might know better as 'Star Trek The Next Generation's 'Data'.

^______________^. I just had the best-weekend-ever-in-life! Got to go New York and wander around.I was staying with Grandpop, and since he's most laid back person in the world (I mean seriously, he will let you do whatever the hell you want. It's scary sometimes 0_o. ) I pretty much had free reign this weekend. Saturday was the first time I'd ever been in Times Square. I was such a goddamn tourist (even though this was definitly not my first time in New York) when I got there. EVERYTHING amazed me. I was pointing at everything and getting hyped up about it. I love New York. Always have.

TO BE CONTINUED....

I want #415 and #417 SOOO BADD!! T_T Gawd, I'm going into withdrawel...

I placed an order at X-World Comics, the other day (#415 included. Why I didn't just order #417 while I was at it, I will never know >_> ), but even with the 7.00 extra bucks I shelled out for 'Priority Shipping' it'll probably still take a long ass time to get here. And now with the whole 'winter storm' and everything...sigh...speaking of which...

I actually got a (*gasp*) subscription to the title the other day, to save me this kind of grief in the future, but I never got an e-mail conformation. So I go to Marvel.com to see what you do when this happens, and they said to call the customer service number. So I call, and lo and behold, no one can come to the phone right now because their offices are closed due to the winter storm! Grrrr >_<;

10:29 p.m.

Hayao Miyazaki strikes again! Man I knew it! I knew he wasn't going to retire for sure after Spirited Away! Why does he bother fighting it? Directing and storytelling is what makes him, *him*. It's his destiny...(*gets all mystical and Professor Trelawney-like*)Anyway ^^; his next animated project is called Howl's Moving Castle. It's based off a book, by the same, written by Diana Wynne Jones. Gonna try to read it before the movie comes out. But nowing me, I'll probably wait 'till the very last minute. Me and my lazy ass -_-

I gotta say before reading The Ultimates, I could give less than one-fifth of a shit about the Avengers. I didn't hate them, but I didn't give a shit about them either. But I've fallen totally in love with the Ultimate versions of them! Characters that I never cared about, like Iron Man and Captain America, in the 'regular universe', I now adore in the 'Ultimate universe'. The storytelling is great and the artwork beautiful. I was worried when I bought the TPB that I'd wasted my money, because I never stray to far from the X-Men titles when it comes to Marvel, so I was taking a chance, but wow! I mean wow! What a great comic! Mark Miller, Bryan Hitch, you guys, truly, truly, kick ass. Be proud, you don't suck ^_^

According to the Leaky Cauldron the new Dumbledore will be played by Michael Gambon. 0_o. Um...well, I can't really say anything, because I've never seen him act before, but his picture over at IMDb doesn't look very, uh, Dumbledore-twinkly-like, does it? He just doesn't look like the type of guy who'd down a couple of 'Sherbert Lemons' is all I'm saying. Maybe he was having a bad day or something.

11:28 p.m.

^_^ I found a couple of purty pictures of the upcoming anime version of CLAMP'S Chobits.

Aww! Chi is so adorable ^^. I thought she was supposed to have white hair, though. In the second picture there's Hideki's best friend Shimbo, who I love ^___^ (he's the tall guy on the upper left).Right beneath Yuzuki( she's the girl with the blue hair) there's Minoru, the super genius. Minoru very quickly became my favorite (closely, very closely, followed by Shimbo), because is it just me, or does anyone else get strong 'Eriol' vibes from this kid. They look and act so much alike. They both apparently have a thing for older women to. Sort of. While Kaho was a human, Minoru's 'Yuzuki' is a Persocom. And since she's a custom model, made by him, technically she's 'younger'. Although he made her to look older than him (he's only 12 >_>). Weird little freak. I love him ^_____^. Sadly the first Chobits DVD isn't due out 'till March 11, 2003. Sigh...ah, well, with any luck, I'll be able to pick the next couple of volumes of the manga tomorrow, so I'll be able to get my fix ^^

02:55 p.m.

So here's the score:
Evangelion(Manga) Volume 6: From Anthony. When we were doing our Christmas shopping together he didn't know what to get me, so I pointed at that and he scooped it up.

American McGee's Alice: A real copy. Before I just had the bootleg copy that Dave burned for me. The bootleg never had the intro scene, so I saw it for the first time the other day. Freaky. I love it. I actually got this on Christmas Eve, but my piece of shit computer was missing some Glide installation/3dfx thing and I couln't play it. I eventually figured out what I had to do and install to fix it (I felt like such a goddamn genius, like, yes! I kicked my computers' ass! What now! What!)

Lilo and Stitch DVD: From Grandpop. In my opinion the best Disney movie EVER. I don't know what I'm going to do when the extended edition comes out though. Usually I just hand over the old DVD to my little brother, but I'm pretty sure we got a family copy for Christmas to. I don't remember. I'll check later.

The End of Evangelion DVD: From Pop and Kris. I was shocked shitless. Just because I couldn't believe that THEY, of all people managed to find it. It's not that the movies hard to find, it's just that they wouldn't know where the anime section is if you threw them head first into it.

Money: The shock over Evangelion wore of pretty quick though. It was just a fluke. The rest of my gifts came in green. I've been told that I'm hard to shop for.Everything else after this was bought by me in the mall yesterday.

Chobits: Volume 1: I have completely fallen in love with CLAMP's new series! Chi is absolutley adorable! And that kid Minoru reminds me of Eriol (without the glasses.)I'm gonna try to scoop up volumes 2 and 3 when ever I get back to the mall.

The Ultimates TPB Volume 1: Super Human: Modern day versions of the Avengers.

Ultimate X-Men TPB Volume 1: The Tomorrow People: I love the Ultimate versions of the Brotherhood!

Labyrinth: Soundtrack: I was mad when I realized I could have gotten this at The Wall instead of Fye. They're only a floor apart damnit! It's not like it would have been any extra trouble, they're in the same mall >_< ! See, 'cause The Wall is going out of buisness so everything, EVERYTHING, is 50% off. Could have saved money. Ah, well...I love the CD except that there's a dfferent version of 'Magic Dance' on it. The parts where the goblins sing in the movie sound like regular people on the CD. I liked the goblin voices. They were great.

Spirited Away: Soundtrack: I remembered about the going out of buisness thing eventually and got this there. I love the music from this film. Some pieces remind me of Kiki's Delivery Service, though.

CardCaptor Sakura DVD: Final Judgment: EEEE! I finally got to hear Eriol in all of his Japanese/English subtitled glory! ^__^ I NEED the next DVD to come out FAST! The episode where he shows up was the last one on the DVD, so I only got a small taste. Damnit, isn't that always the way >_<.

There were a couple of other things I wanted to get but couldn't 'cause they weren't at Willow Grove. I was planning on getting the Endless Waltz DVD, the Fables TPB and Baz Luhrman's Romeo and Juliet. The modern day one. I love it, I thought it was real clever, so I can forgive it for having Leonardo DiCaprio in it. The funny thing about him though is that, while I don't like his acting that much(it's not god AWFUL or anything, but I don't know. It just doesn't grab me. His performance in Titanic for example, didn't impress me much.)both of his new movies, Gangs of New York and Catch Me if you Can, look very interesting, and I'm seriously gonna give them a shot. At least 'Catch Me' has got Tom Hanks in it, and he's one of my favorite actors of all time, so I'm sure he'll save it if DiCaprio drops the ball again.

Speaking of movies, I saw Bowling for Columbine The other day. I'm tired of typing now, though. I'll write about it later.

01:35 p.m.

OH. MY. GOD. Can someone please explain to me what the hell is up with the Kingdom Hearts ending?!!! OHMYGOD! That is sad beyond all logical reason!! How can it end like that?! How?! T_T I cried. Rivers. And then the normal version of the theme song plays in it's entirety during the 5 minute ending sequence...and...and...HOW CAN IT END LIKE THAT??!! There has got to be a sequel! I read in an interview with the creators, that there wasn't going to be one, but how can that be possible? I'm gonna make my brother beat again so I can see the ending and that secret sequence. Apparently if you find all 99 dalmation puppies, find all the pages from Pooh's storybook, locked all the worlds, beat both the Hades and Phil cup, then beat the boss and all at the end, you see this secret sequence after the credits and ending sequence. It's supposed to be a teaser for a supposed Kingdom Hearts 2. We'll just wait and see ^_^

Labyrinth, my all time favorite movie, had a book written based off the movie. I heard that it was incredible because it explains a lot of things that never got explained in the movie. It's really old and out of print so finding a copy is impossible. The other day though, I lucked upon a complete transcript of the book on-line . Joyous day ^_^ . I want to print it out, but it's about 150 pages long so...yeah, not gonna happen. Least I can read it ^^

01:36 p.m.

I bought the latest issue of Wizard the other day and I am happy ^___^. Lot's and lot's of all new Daredevil pics. Yummy.

Meant to mention that the last two episodes of x-men evolution, 'The Toad, the Witch and the Wardrobe', and 'Self-Possesed' both kicked ass. Lot's of Brotherhood. More Quicksilver. More Toad. Apocolypse gets mentioned again. Kick Ass. That goes without saying though ^_^. The next new ep. I believe is titled 'Under Lock and Key'. Magneto's Brotherhood is going to be in it as well as the original comic book x-men (Angel, Jean Grey, Cyclops, Iceman, and Beast). By eps end, someone ends up with second key. With that, only on key will remain unfound...

Why oh why does JK Rowling torture us so? She's chosen words at random from the next HP book, Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix, slapped them on a card, and is having them auctioned off! Here's the sample that they provide:
Thirty-eight chapters ... might change ... longest volume ... Ron ... broom ... sacked ... house-elf ... new teacher ... dies ... sorry,

Apparently Nightcrawler and Storm are gonna have a thing going on in the X-Men 2 movie. Hmm, interesting...

o_o. Someone just asked me what date it was. I said the 20th. I have now just realized my birthday is on Sunday. How the hell do I forget my own birthday? Shit, that is weird. o_O

09:44 p.m.

I'm so proud of myself! I actually got off my lazy ass and put up a couple of pages of my Haku shrine. The Stats and Name Analysis pages are now up and running! ^_^

Speaking of Spirited Away, I heard that Disney submitted it, Lilo and Stitch and Treasure Planet to the Academy Awards people to be considered for the Animation category. I love Lilo and Stitch, but I hope Spirited Away wins.

06:08 p.m.

Spoilers ahead:Continue at your own risk. Read at your own peril.
Saw Chamber of Secrets last night. Wow. S'all I can say. Much better than the first one, defenitly. But there was still something about it that...I don't know. I can't really put my finger on it. I loved it, and I didn't like it at the same time. Weird. Here's something that kind of bugged me. No scene was left in tacked from the book. And yet almost every scene was present. It's like with what I've been saying about The Lord of the Rings movie. Never have I seen a film that is SO much like the book, and yet so different. The deathday party wasn't there, they never explained the thing about the roosters, Snape never said his best line (Excuse me, but I beleive I am the Potion's Master of this school), Lockhart's Valentine/Great Hall scene was gone, and lot's of other things. That kind of made me mad. But it was still entertaining. I still can't stand Daniel Radcliffe (or Harry for that matter. But admittedly, Radcliffe wasn't THAT bad. I didn't cringe as much this time.) but I liked Emma Watson's and Rupert Grint's performances alot better in this one. Snape was perfect ^__^(of course), Lockhart was dead on ^_^(really funny! I forget what the actor's name is), Dobby was fantastic, and Lucius, Draco, and Tom all gave deliciously evil performances!Their scenes were the best scenes of the film.It really was scarier.Or rather just plain scary because I never thought the first one was scary. The part where Harry's writing in the diary and Tom's writing back is VERY creepy. Seriously, I was getting goosebumps. They didn't do anything all that different from the book in this scene, but for some reason actually SEEING the writing appear on the book, out of nowhere, increased the creep factor. Tom's one word responses also helped. Interesting things to note: Hermione already knew what a Mudblood was. Young Hagrid's face was never shown. Ron and Hermione have a moment at the end. Penelope Clearwater was never petrified. Snape, like Draco's father during Qudditch, seemed really pissed at him for letting himself get attacked by Harry during the dueling match (This REALLY made me mad because it seemed like an inapproprite thing for the character of Snape to do.)Speaking of which, what was Lucius doing at the Qudditch match anyway? I know he's a school governer, but are they allowed to just do stuff like that? This kind of doesn't have to do with anything, but when Dobby blasts the crap out of Lucius, the entire theatre burst into applause (it was pretty packed, opening night and all). That made me smile. Also, after the credits there's this 12 second scene concerning a certain characters 'fate'. All in all, very entertaining. Go watch it now ^_^.

01:38 p.m.

Still working on my Haku shrine. Goddamn it, Spirited Away was a good movie ^_______^. I wonder where I can get the script on-line. I've looked but haven't had any success. T_T

The gargoyles marathon was a success! I am now the proud owner of all 66 glorious episodes ^___^! All the Owen and Matt a girl could possibly want!

Speaking of gargoyles, the infamous Ask Greg section at Station Eight might be in trouble. It looks like Greg is to backlogged to answer all the current questions. I hope this all gets worked out because after all, not to many fans can directly ask questions about the show they love and get answered by said show's creator. 'Ask Greg' is truly a unique experiance. The only other fan base I know of that does this sort of thing is Marvel. The guys at Marvel I hear answer and interact with their fans all the time. Wish this was the same for anime. Wouldn't it be great to sit down with the ladies at CLAMP and get some answers from them? Now, how exatly did Kaho and Eriol meet? How long did you see THAT relationship lasting?

What the HE-ELL happened to The Leaky Cauldron? Where'd it go!!? I need my Harry Potter news fix! I think I'm gonna go into withdrawel o_O.

Saw an HBO special on Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Jason Issacs, who is going to play Lucious Malfoy, looks like he is going to give a deliciously evil performance ^_______^. Me and Melissa are making plans to go and see it Friday (we don't have school, teacher work day or something). Can't wait!

Saw 8 Mile yesterday. I liked it. It felt very real. I want to say Eminem's a good actor. And he is, but the thing is that he was acting like himself. That's why it felt so natural and real. But if you're acting like yourself how can you be anything but real? And does it even count as acting then? In any case, I liked it. What was funny was that when we went up to by our tickets, there were these two nine year olds behind us who were about to try and see if they could get away with buying a ticket. So what do we do? We pretend thet're with us and get them in. It's all about looking out for each other man, I'm telling you.

The Daredevil trailer was in front of the movie. I CAN NOT WAIT! Move over Spiderman, the man wihout fear is gonna kick your ass!!( I'm just playing Spidey, ah love you and 'ol Hornhead equally ^^ )

I am completely addicted to Kingdom Hearts. God damn good story with your god damn good game play, why do you taunt me so!!

Been reading Catcher in the Rye. Don't know if it shows. ^__^. Goddamn it.

Bleh. Wrote way more than I was expecting to. Will write more later.

HAKU IS THE MAN!!!Which is why I made a shrine for him. white dragon :: a haku shrine. Not done yet. Links won't work 'till tomorrow. Love Haku ^_^.

My parents are gonna be gone the whole time the Gargoyles marathon is on. 4 blissfull days baby!!

04:21 a.m.

YE-AH! XD With any luck I'll be spending either Sunday or Saturday watching Spirited Away and strolling about South Street. Spirited Away is playing at the Ritz in Center City. I can't wait! I've been hearing such GREAT things! Then again this is Hayao Miyazaki we're talking about. Of course it's going to be good! But what's really got me hyped is all the press (positive press ^__^ ) it's getting. I was reading the Daily News the other day and they had this huge article in the movie section. And that Friday last week when we had the day off, I woke up at 6:00 (by accident ^^;; ) and I was watching Good Morning America, when they aired the commercial! It was a condensed version of the trailer online.

You know, I don't ever remember seeing a commercial for Princess Mononoake (I do remember see an 'On Video' commercial for Kiki's Delivery Service though). Then again that might have been because there was no commercial. The only reason why that movie didn't do well at the box office in America, is not because it was a bad movie (it is a PHENOMENAL movie! If you haven't seen it, shame on you! I order you to go to your nearest Hollywood Video and buy it!) but because Disney did a really shitty job of advertising it. It's tough enough being a 'Only in Select Theaters' movie....

Greg lent me End of Evangelion on DVD! Yay! But I've got till tonight to watch it cause he promised to lend it to his cousin or something. So that means I'm gonna have to sneak it. I kinda got a day or two of punishment yesterday because Kris was being a bitch again. Bitch >_<

I'm beginning to fear my DVD player. It is defenitly showing all of it's 48 dollars (cheap piece of shit! But it was on sale at Brandsmart, what else was I supposed to do?), funny growling noises emit from it if you leave it on overnight. Now mind you, accidently leaving it on all night can't be the best thing for it either but....

I'm really liking Physics. But that doesn't mean I have to like the test were gonna have on Monday.

Writing for Publishing is pissing me off. It's cause of the student teacher. He took over right from the get go so I don't even know what my real teacher is like yet.

Saturday's episode of X-Men Evolution: 'Mainstream'. If the last two episodes are any indication, it shall kick major ass.

*sniff**sniff* I want a blog/pita friend! Sure I've got blogs and stuff that I read daily but since they don't know me, it's sort of like stalking. I've been going through different pitas and looking at the side table where people usually keep their likes and dislikes, but lately, no one seems to be doing that. Many people just have a big list of links -_-. I'ma lookin for a pita friend! ^^. Don't you all jump up at once now. I've got a sunny disposition and I'm always kind to animals (hee. Puck. ^___^ )

Extra!Extra!Exta! Read all about it.

The Leaky Cauldron has several things to report. All of it good ^_________^ :
Not only has the US Court thrown out Nancy Stouffer's completely bogus claims that the Potter author plagarized her work, but it appears that JK is gonna be a mommy again! Read article here

In JK's first interview since the premiere of the movie Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone she spills the news on Order of the Pheonix. Not only is it pretty much done, but she let's us in on a few things as well. For instance, she confirmed that the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher is a woman. She also says that the book has surpassed the length of Prizoner of Azkaban. That's right kiddies. We're talking Goblet of Fire length here (hell ye-ah! XD ). A must read for all Potter fans, catch the interview here

In Nightcrawler news, an interview with Chuck Austin (read here) has revealed that Nightie's gettin a girlfriend! Yay! But the hell is this about X-Men 2 Nightcrawler having hooves?! Eww! Goddamnit Eww!!

Here's a mighty interesting interview with Curt Geda, new director of X-Men Evolution.

Haven't blogged in forever -_-. Don't feel like doing it right this moment. But will. Hence the short cut of sentences. Am in the library. Fucking hate school. More on that later. X-Men Evolution's: 'Day of Recovery', kicked major ass. More on that later. Fucking hate school. Can't access vituperation from school computer. Keep getting this message. Heh, heh ^_^. Wonder why. JK Rowling, still not done yet. Beginning to piss me off. Fucking hate school. Want mints. Want Eva movie. No school Friday. Yay. More on everything later.

09:17 p.m.

The Spirited Away trailer kicked major ass! I'm gonna drag my friends out to watch this. This'll be perfect for converting a couple of my non-believing friends (*cough*melissa*cough*) to anime. ^___^

Went to go see Signs last night! Kick ass, what can I say! And the thing is to, that I get it. I get what Night was trying to say with this movie. It wasn't spectacular, but it was still a damn good movie. I don't know quite how to describe it. It's like a frog's eye view of the movie Independance Day. Picture Independance Day going on outside but looking at from the point of view of this preacher. I liked all the performances. The little girl threw me off though. Halfway through the movie I'm totally convinced that she's an alien they left behind, or some crazy shit like that. This movie is mostly about faith and 'what if there's truly no such thing as coincidense'. For those of you who know me, and know how I feel about faith and religion and all that jazz, then you know this movie is good, if I was able to leave the theater having enjoyed that movie. I barely gritted my teeth or cringed when the 'Keeping the Faith' angle became apparent. Night didn't over do it when it came to the 'Faith/Religion' stuff. I also liked how very real it was. I half expected to come out the movies and start hearing that the world's being invaded by aliens, on the news. Also, he didn't over show the aliens. We didn't see them all the time (hardly ever, only towards the end of the movie, and even then) and that helped greatly. If Night had showed them more, then that real feel would have been lost. I guess that's because since we've never seen an alien (at least that's what the government's been telling us) to see one clearly and in plain view would seem unreal. Something straight out of a science fiction book. But no, they were rarely shown and it just felt more real to have an unseen predator hunting us. So in a nutshell: This movie kicks ass! Go watch it. But you know what might help to increase the scare factor? Do what we did. Catch like the 10:00 showing, when there is absolutly no one there. I mean it was creepy. No one in the building except us and one worker and that's it. Go do that, and then tell me you weren't scared. ^_~

Bleagh!! Tomorrow's my first day of school.Yay -_-. I don't wanna go, I DON'T WANNA GO!!!! I'm not ready to let go of summer. It doesn't seem right to go back to school after this vacation. It feels like I've been on vacation forever! I'm gonna be a junior this year. After that I'm done right? I mean, no more school after this right? I can take the next 70 years off right? Right? (just lie to me -_-)

I'm recording Out to Sea right now. Guess why ^__________________^.

Gonna spend what little time I have left goofing off. Will make an effort to blog tomorrow.

Rejoice. Disney didn't fub up Spirited Away. I can't wait for this movie to come out! Miyazaki is a genius. Kiki's Delivery Service and Princess Mononoke (Mononoke Hime) are a couple of my all time favorite anime movies. I'm downloading the Spirited Away trailer now to see what it's like. Meanwhile, what the hell happened to Castle in the Sky? Does anyone remember that? If you watch Kiki's Delivery Service you'll see a preview for it. It looked real good. Anna Paquin (Rouge from X-Men) was suposed to be the voice of that girl and James Vanderbeek (spelling? Dawson's Creek) was supposed to be the voice of the boy. I've heard rumours about it. That Disney wasn't satisfied with the final dub so they're re-dubbing it. But I haven't heard any real news about it. Anyone know what's up?

Bleah -_-. Still don't feel like writing. Not personally anyway. It's cause I feel all depressed and crappy. Almost a week of this god-awful-gloomy-life-is-pointless-end-it-all weather, can do that to you. Damn weather! Damn you to hell! >_< Ah well, I'll just talk about crap 'till this mood is lifted.

Well it looks like we might finally find out when Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix is coming out. Even though, that's Bloomsbury. When the books came out in America it was always after the release of the English ones, except in the case of Goblet of Fire which came out the same day everywhere. Sigh....

Lot's of Nightcrawler news:
Here's the cover and tagline for Uncanny X-Men #415

UNCANNY X-MEN #415
Cover By Steve Uy
Chuck Austen (w)/Sean Phillips (p)
Standalone story! It's a prelude of things to come - and a glimpse into the true origin of Nightcrawler!
32 pgs. with ads/FC/Marvel PG......2.25

I love Nightcrawler ^____^. Especially in that picture. You see? That's how my baby ought to be drawn.

Here's a most interesting interview with Chuck Austin, who's got writing duty on 'Uncanny'. Oh man, I can not WAIT, for his Nightcrawler story arcs! Crawler fans have been waiting for this for a long time! The funny Nightcrawler is coming back! Origins revealed! The pissing off of major religious fanatics (I never liked the whole priest angle they threw on Kurt. Fine so he's a religious guy. You don't have to make him a priest! At least not the way previous writers did it. It took all his funny away! He needs his funny!)! Good times a 'comin. Good times. ^_^

At the San Diego Comic Con, several shots of the upcoming X-men 2 movie were shown. Following was a Q&A session with Singer about the film. His Comment on Nightcrawler: "You'll see scars on his face. He's got a little history with him, this guy. He's got a past. Alan Cumming is playing the role. And he's acrobatic and can teleport. And he's sort of gets sucked into the middle of this whole sort of what we'll call a hate triangle that's going on in the story."

I can't wait for X2! ^_^

Back in ye olden days when I first got into anime, one of the first anime's that grabbed my interest was Dragonball Z. I've since grown out of it (thank god), but because I do like to keep up with anime news, especially anime that makes it to the big screen, I found this intersting. This is the "movie poster" for the Dragonball movie.

People have been wondering whether or not this is a fake. After reading up on all the official information on the movie so far, which can be read here, you can pretty much conclude that, like the Reprise of Evangelion movie poster, this poster is a very pretty fake. It's kinda weird though because fake or not, that eva picture is one of my favorite eva pictures ^^;;.

I should have started taking that SAT practice test thingie at one. Haven't started yet. Shit. I hope I can get it all done before pop gets home >_>..

Puck soundbyte of the day:click here
Episode: The Gathering pt. 2
Oberon: Yes, what about him?
Puck: I've got a sunny disposition and I'm always kind to animals.

I love Brent Spiner.

Lookit! I found a nifty Invader Zim site ^_^ I adopted Gir from there, and a couple of other sprites from this place. I got Nightcrawler complete with bamfing and image inducing action and the lovely couple, Satine and Christian.

Trying desperatly to cheer up. The weather is still incredibly shitty. And I'm stuck helping Ronnie with his summer homework. Joy.

HOW. HOW THE HELL does Kevin Smith, KEVIN SMITH, plant his base of operations for his new movie in my home town, and me just learn about it TODAY!!!! I must've been the only friggin person in Philly who didn't know that Smith and Affleck and friends were doing Jersey Girl around here. Damnit! No one tells me ANYTHING!! >_<

I don't hafta got to school 'till next friday baby! ^_^ Damn, you know, I'm pretty sure we had something to read over the summer.....

I was planning on finishing my disscusion on Alice in Wonderland today but I don't feel up to it. It feels so bleah around here. It's all rainy and cold and dark and gloomy. Normally I like these little summer rain breaks, but this is to weird. I swear to god I woke up this morning and thought it was Christmas. This weather just sort of throws you off...stupid rain...

Looking around for some new pitas to read, but no one's interesting at the moment. Maybe everyone has sucky weather happening outside for them to. Damn weather, grr. >_<;

I'm not a gamer. But Alice is just the kind of game you can't help but play. Plus it's scary as shit. I mean truly scary. It's the music, I think, that does it. Don't play it in the dark is all I'm saying. Check out the trailer they had for the game. I had to lie about my age to watch the trailer. I know ^_____^.

This month's obsession, in case my, what, one/two readers, haven't guessed, is all about Alice in Wonderland. The game, the movies, the books. That's right, books. People seem to forget that there were two books, the second one being 'Through the Looking Glass'. I've been reading the books recently and let me tell you, that is some messed up shit. The guy was on acid. He HAD to be. Nonetheless, I'm loving it. My favorite line is part of the bit in the first encounter between Alice and the Cheshire Cat (best character ever). It goes like this:

Alice: But I don't want to go amoung mad people.
Cat: Oh, you can't help that. We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.
Alice: How do you know I'm mad?
Cat: You must be, or you wouldn't have come here.

^___^

I rented the Disney movie the other day. Mostly because I forgot it and wanted to see how they handled the Caterpillar. You see boys and girls, in the story Caterpillar smokes using something called a 'hookah' which is (at least in this day and age) a glorified bong. So I check out the movie and lo and behold, dude is totally hitting the bong! XD XD Me and B were laughing our asses off!

Tomorrow: We discuss 'The Walrus and the Carpenter' and I adopt sprites ^______^

10:36 p.m.

Okay, my last entry was what, the seventh? There's a reason for that. And it's not cause of laziness this time! On the morning of the eighth I wake up, eat breakfast, the usual. Then I go downstairs to the basement to check my e-mail on this piece of shit I call our computer (it's been giving me problems lately, it won't let me play Alice. Mind you it's jut a copy that Dave made me, but still damnit >_<). Why, I ask, are my father,my grandfather, and co., building a ROOM where the COMPUTER used to be!! I go downstairs in search of the computer and find a room. A whole friggin room being built where the computer area used to be. THE HELL!! You see , now that Sunnie's going to be moving in with us, he needs a room. The guest room is to small so they have to give him Anthony's room. But gee, where's Anthony gonna crash then? And that is where my horror began. Of course no one TOLD me about all of this. I had to learn the hard way. But you know that's just typical for my parents. They're the kind of people who won't tell you they're going to Yemen for a month, until they're on the plane and about to land. But this is only with me of course! It's a conspiracy I swear >_>....Anyway I'm back now. Room's not done but it's getting there...stupid room.....

I got to record lot's of things that I've been dying to have since my last post though! I recorded: Gargoyles: The Mirror (Puck's first ep. Yay ^___^), ST:TNG: In Theory, and ST:TNG: The Offspring. Both, must see Data episodes. ^________^.

Gah, nothing fun going on tomorrow. Nothing but work. Sigh, where did the summer go......

I'm playing Alice on Anthony's computer, while he's gone. Because he was doing basic training when we went to Martha's Vineyard earlier in the summer, he went with granpop and Sunnie this time for grandpop's Labor Day Week (no 'end'. Grandpop knows how to milk a vacation for all it's worth. ^_~ ). I gave him money to buy me comics and fudge. Murdick's Fudge is the best fudge EVER XD!! Back to Alice though, I'm stuck at the part where I have to fight Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. It's hard, they keep multiplying >_< !! I know how to do this invincibility code, but I want to play the game legit the first time around. Damn morals. Can't wait for the movie to come out though! That is gonna be great! ^______^

I still haven't gotten Evangelion: Death and Rebirth T___T

In other news, still no sign of Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix....sigh....

blogger
You are not very reliable but people like you anyway because you are so easygoing and fun to be with. And cute, too.

Which Blogging Tool Are You?

Yeah that sounds about right :D

I really should be doing the work Kris told me to do while she was gone. Ah, well, don't feel like it right now ^^ Knowing me I'll probably be rushing around five minutes before she gets in, trying to get it all done.

You know, there really is nothing like Snape/Lupin fanfiction, to put everything into perspective. ^^

I think I'm becoming addicted to dessert mints o_0

Kia Asimaya is gonna be the new penciler on the 'Uncanny' book. Here's his character design of Nightcrawler:

Ugghh! He looks like a sewer rat! I miss Ian Churchill, bring him back! T_T He knew how to draw my baby properly! *sniff*

I'm really digging Rouge's new civilian clothes for the third season of X-Men Evolution.

I don't know what it is about them. Maybe it's the combination of those sneakers with that weird top. Oh, well I like it a whole lot better than the green outfit.

12:51 p.m.

Kris and Ronnie and Sunnie are going to Dorney Park. She asked if I wanted to come but I said naw, I'd just go later this week with Anthony and Benny. I feel a little bad though. I think she might have wanted me to go to hang out with her and spare her from those kids. Ah, well ^_^. Not my damn kids! Finally! A day where I don't have to cater to their every whim because they can't do anything themselves even though they're, what, 9 and 10? Brats.

Now I don't know if I'm the only one, but my Lord of the Rings DVD has been acting up. At certain points during the movie, subtitles flash across the screen for about a split second. I don't know if it happens at any other point during the movie ('cause I fell asleep while watching it.I stayed up most of the night so that I could record Gargoyles in the living room during the wee hours of the morning. Hey, it only comes on one channel and we only get that channel in the living room cause of the digital cable thingie. I'm not obsessed! Even though I did have to be all stealth and shit cause Mom was in the living room asleep...ok, maybe a little obsessed ^^; ), but I do know that it happens once, in a scene in the begining where Gandalf is speaking with Frodo, again, when Arwen is with Aragorn, then again, when Frodo is speaking with Bilbo in Rivendell and Bilbo does the creepy 'grr, me want ring' thing. Also I noticed that the colors start changing. It'll be normal then go deeper into the red, then go back to normal, then red, then normal, red and so forth. Now this might not be the DVD. It might either be my tv, because it's a million and ten years old, or it might be my DVD player because it's cheap as shit (it was only 48 bucks. My thing is that, so long as it plays the damn DVD's, I'm cool ^_^). I'm not sure because i haven't checked yet.

Well THAT'S intersting. Bryan Singer the director of X-Men and X-Men2 has a cameo in the Star Trek: Nemesis movie. He's gonna be an all important....Bridge Officer. Yay ^_^;

Puck soundbyte of the day:click here
Episode: The Mirror
Demona: I'm to vulnerable during the day. I don't want to turn to stone anymore.
Puck: Of course. You want to stroll down fifth avenue in the sunshine. I'm sure you'll fit right in.

^__^ gotta love that Puck.

So today, like most of the rest of America, I bought The Lord of the Rings on DVD (Elfy time, Yay!). It was a tough decision though. I was torn between using my last 20 bucks to buy that or Evangelion: Death and Rebirth. In the end I just decided to wait for Eva (hell, I've waited three years, what's a little while longer?), because I pretty much know everything word for word that happens in that movie. I've read the script on-line and been to several image galleries. Is that the same as actually seeing the movie? No. But I've only seen Lord of the Rings once and barely remember anyhing other than Elfy and lot's of pretty colors, ^^;;, so I'll get to Eva next. That or I can jack up Betzaida and take her copy ^______^.

You are a Sorceress!

Take the "How Do You Use Magic?" test! Written by Brimo
This is what I've been saying! :P

Which HP Kid Are You?

o_o How did that happen? Not that I mind, but I'm pretty sure I gave only one evil response on that quiz. Maybe that's all it takes, hmmm........

08:26 p.m.

I'm done! I'm done! I've got the rest of the night to goof off! ^_^

Gargoyles is coming out on DVD! If you're a Gargoyles fan make sure to buy up the DVD's. The fact that Disney is even bothering to collect them on DVD's means that they are begining to notice that there are a hell of a lot of fans out there. If the DVD sales do well we might see a third season (remember, Goliath Chronicals never happened.)! Yay!

Lord of the Rings is coming out on DVD tomorrow. I've decided that I'm gonna buy this one and the special expanded DVD that's supposed to come out during the holidays. I'm gonna see Elfy (Legolas; Melissa gave him that name. I like it ^___^)tomorrow! Yay!

Star Trek: Nemesis is coming out during the holidays! Yay! And there are gonna be two Data's! TWO! ^_________^ The other one isn't going to be Lore though (even though I was hoping it was. Lore is such a bad ass! ^_^).This is supposed to be another android.

I'm gonna finish the movie list tomorrow. Not up to doing it now

Hopefully by the end of tonight I'll have finished transferring 'nevermore' to it's new location. Hopefully ^^;

Procrastinating. Don't feel like taking the test. Gonna goof off for a little while longer. Hope I don't get caught. T_T

Some kick ass movies coming up. These next couple of years promise to be some of the best movie years EVER!Let's run down the list:

  • Daredevil: with Ben Affleck playing the man without fear. Michael Clark Duncan has also been slated to play the King Pin ^_^
  • Alien 5: This is possibly going to be an Alien vs. Predator movie.
  • Anaconda 2: Never saw the first one so I don't know if this is going to be one of those useless sequels or not.
  • Bad Boys 2: Ditto
  • Back to the Future 4
  • Batman Beyond: It's supposed to be a live action flick with Freddy Prinze Jr. playing Terry McGuiness. Riigghhht. I'll hold judgement until it comes out.
  • Batman vs. Superman: Batman could kick Superman's ass any time any place! Ye-ah!
  • Batman:Year One: based on the comic one-shot of the same name. Everyone knows Batman's story. How he became the Bat, but Batman:Year One had for the first time told us exactly how it happened.

Damnit. I can't procrastinate anymore. I'll finish my uber-upcoming-movie list when I'm done. 4 hours from now. >_>

The hell is up with JK Rowling?!! Latest news from the Leaky Cauldron on 'Harry Potter' and the Order of the Pheonix':
Friday, August 02, 2002
Thanks Laura, for sending us this snippet from this week's new Entertainment Weekly about Book 5, or the lack thereof:
WAIT PROBLEM: For Potter fans, it's a torture worthy of the dungeons of Azkaban. Two full years have passed since the release of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and now there are rumblings the J.K. Rowling's next book might not be out until well into 2003. "With the first two books there was no pressure. By the third book there was a little pressure. And with the fourth book, she faced huge pressure. Right now, Jo is just taking the time to write the best book that she can," says David Heyman, a producer on the Warner Bros. Potter films who is in regular contact with Rowling. "My sense is that the book won't come out until next fall." Indeed, Scholastic Books chief exec Dick Robinson recently told Bloomberd News that the fifth installment, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, may not be published until the middle of next year. "We don't have it yet," says a spokesperson for te imprint. "But she's writing happily, and once we have it, it will take about five months to get it out." Sorry, Potter-ites: Your Dementors torture looks likely to continue for a while. - Matthew Flamm and Daniel Fierman

God damn it >__<;;

I don't feel like taking this stupid test. I hafta take this fucking 4-hour full length S.A.T practice test in a few minutes. I don't feel like doing it. Fuuuuuuuccccccccccccccckkkkkk. And I have to go to the bank and deposit some stuff for pop. But to do that means that I would have to go outside. To go outside, I would actually have to get out of my sleeping clothes and get dressed. Lazy people should not be forced to be un-lazy >_<. It's not good for our psyche.

Oooooo. Wolverine is gonna look cool as shit for the third season of X-Men Evolution. Check out the evo pics here

08:36 p.m.

I have recently become obssesed with anything Brent Spiner 0_o. It's all Puck's fault (hence the new layout ^_^). You see around the end of the school year, me and Dave and them got to talking about all the old cartoons and shit we used to watch when we were younger and Gargoyles got brought up. I used to love that show! Still do! Possibly the best american cartoon ever made! The characters all had such depth and the plot was continious like in an anime. The animation was great and the voice actors were incredible. Not to mention that it had some magic and fantasy elements, which I love. So of course Disney cancelled it after the second season (there was a third season called 'The Goliath Chronicals', but because none of the original creators were on the team and because the guys in charge of that season turned some great plotpoints and into crap, many fans and myself included, pretend it never happened. There was no third season of Gargoyles, got it?). Bastards. Anyway I started looking online for some info and one thing led to another and Puck became my favorite character all over again. Now what does this have to do with my current obsession: anything having to do with Brent Spiner? Spiner does the voice for Puck. Need I say more? Well actually, yes I do. Cause the obsession started there. However, it only became a full-swing obsession when I was flipping through the channels one day, after finding all of this Puck stuff out, and I happen to chance upon an episode of Star Trek The Next Generation. And I saw Data. Brent Spiner plays Data. Truly, 'nuff said.

Guess who was standing behind me up at the Flying Horses in Martha's Vineyard when we were on vacation. Spike Lee. I turn around cause I'm waiting in line and I'm bored and lo and behold. Spike Lee. In my head I was like, holy shit dude! Spike Lee!. I kept wanting to turn around and look at him. I even thought about asking him to sign something, but then thought against it because that would be triffling. The man is on vacation with his family (his kids were there) and the last thing he wants I'm sure is to have people wanting him to sign stuff. But still, that decision took a LOT of self-control. C'mon it was Spike Lee!

I'm so pissed. I have been waiting for Evangelion: Death and Rebirth for 3 years since Manga Entertainment bought the rights to it, and guess who gets it first (and I have yet to track it down since it's release a few days ago >_< )? Betzaida! God damn it! She's not even a real fan! She just happened to see it and decided to pick it up! God damn it! >_<

Gah. I wanna write more but I'm to tired. I'll write later.
