* fine. fine. i haven't updated yet again, contrary to my promise that i will at least update this blog once a week. So...a lot of THINGS happened ...some were HEAVEN and some were....uhmmm...better forgotten.
* Me and my US based cousins did an asian movie marathon yesterday. The movies were " Battle Royale: Special Edition" ( Why special? Because there is more violence and an alternate ending ), "My Sassy Girl" and "Windstruck".
* Just finished watching the most gory film that i have seen aside from "SAW". It's a japanese film that I have been hunting for years now, until a goodhearted english blockmate of mine "gave" it to me ( or was I supposed to just "borrow" it from him? ). Its entitled "Battle Royale".
* Dang. I'm feeling pretty fine today even though hell week is creeping faster than it should. Maybe because I had DECENT scores in my Filipino long test and Zoology long test scores. Well, except for my lab exam on which I flunked. To put it simply, I shall get another big, fat "F" on my advisory mark next week. Goodbye to my hopes of getting an F-less report card in second sem.
* Damn.
say hello to hell week

I am currently in the comp lab in ADMU waiting for the screening of "Breakfast Club" for our english class. If you ask me, studying for my math long test ( which will commence tom. ) is better that watching this wretched film. Maybe it would turn out nice, but... whatever. I WANT TO GO HOME. :)
I would just like to invite j-rock fanatics and enthusiasts to take part in the Nihon Night in UST this coming February 18 , Saturday. Ryuginbito, a cosplay group I joined, will cosplay Malice Mizer. These are the people who would cosplay that night:
ara= kozi ( guitar/ bass )
maiya= mana ( guitar/ violin )
wufei= yu~ki ( guitar/ lead )
aki= gackt ( vocals )
kurt= klaha ( vocals )
and yes, 4 of us would crossdress except Aki ( he is the only male member )
Just hope that everything would turn out fine...though, i'm still waiting for my costume and my red wig.
Korean Movies
04:53 p.m. // Saturday, January 14, 2006
Windstruck is the only movie in which i literally cried. I'm just a sucker for romance films even though it is not obvious. Espceially when its tragic and someone dies, i just can't stop being too emotional.
My Sassy girl was ok enough to get me hooked in the tv for 2 hours. It didn't really made an impact on me but for a "based on a true story" kind of movie, it was superb. Talk about very cool serendipity. It was more of a romatic comedy than tragic serious romatic movie. Dang.
My cousins enjoyed it too. Cool.
Bitter
06:32 p.m. // Friday, January 13, 2006
Until now I still have this bitter taste of violence in my mouth. It's a bit weird and ackward. I highly recommend this movie ( if you could find it! It's not sold anywhere unless you have sources, like a cool blockmate :p )to those who are not affected by gore stuff. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the movie! No wonder it was one of Japan's most controversial movie. It is sooo cool! Can't wait to get my hands on the second installment.!! Yahoo!
At last I would get a decent sleep after grueling study sessions in the house with myself. I'm becoming more nerdy than usual. Dang.
errrr..

Just saw Gie yesterday and she's getting prettier by the minute. I wish I had a face like yours. :) And yes, I'm really jealous.
I have been fantasizing on buying an O2 XDA II mini.
Damn. You are the best gadget in the universe...well...aside from the ipod that is.
Speaking of ipod, I saw my blockmate's ipod and decided to surf his' for some songs that were cool. I spotted Mayonnaise and decided to give it a few minute to impress my weary head. The first song was "Jopay" in which, at the first line of the song, I felt goosebumps and I was on the verge of tears. I really didn't knew that I had still clung to the idea that I wouldn't be able to go in a way. Then came the songs " Bakit part.2" and "Eddie Song" which made me more miserable just because the lyrics strikes my emotions too much. So to Mayonnaise, you deserve my adoration and respect.
Some of the lyrics that really made me frustrated than ever:
"wag ka nang mawala"
"Sinabi ko s kanya
Na di pa rin nililikha ang
Tulad kong parang timang
Na hindi pa rin maintindihan"
"kahit na mawala ka pa
Nandito lng ako
Nag hihintay pa rin sau"
Anywho, those feeling of mushiness faded after I listened to Parokya's songs. Woohoo for you guys!! I listened to "order taker" and it was the bomb!!!
Upon digging into my stuff a few weeks ago, I saw this "ancient" ( er..just 3 years old ) drawing of mine when I was still in my Sophomore year and was still uber obsessed with my "08" who was my inspiration to draw this angsty kind of "doodle". It sucks, but I want to post it anyway.
This was all done in pencil, a mongol pencil to be exact. The shadings were done manually, which means by hand.
sore ja! still have to let myself be corrupted by nerdiness once again.
happy new year
