Background Story
Tenkuu No Escaflowne (anime) centers around a young girl, Hitomi Kanzaki. Once transported to the world of Gaea on the brink of war, she discovers that she is an intregal part of its destiny....

Story thus far...
Van and Hitomi are disguised as Dragonslayers and are proceeding with Escaflowne to Fortuna Temple. Merle is still on the Vione with Nariya and Eriya. Gaddess, Allen and Millerna have escaped from Asturia and have now encountered another ship. Folken has brought Yukari back to Dornkirk.

Escaflowne Factoids
The English dub of the film contains mild profanity that was not present in the original version. The word "bastard" is said three times, and "son of a" (though the "bitch" is left out) is said once. "Hell" and "damn" are sprinkled liberally throughout the film. Merle is the biggest potty mouth, accounting for approximately a third of the swearing.

The leader of the Zaibach Empire who is obsessed with discovering the secrets of the ancients and using them for his own desires.

Nariya }{ Kywraith Amnesi - for the time being.
Elder sister and also shares her younger sister's love for Folken.
