Oh worry not, I'm changing the layout soon.
Stats project, OM project, Econs midterm... what the hell are those? :P
Thursday, March 15, 2001, 01:04 p.m.
I'm in my Computing tutorial hee hee hee... Network was down for the whole day yesterday -_- But I was out the whole day anyway hehehe... Wednesday's my free day so I went out and bought several mangas. Finally bought HanaKimi volume 1 and I like it, so now I can't wait to buy the next volumes :) But it looks like rupiah has dropped again and I don't think I should be spending all my Singaporean dollars *laughs* I still need to pay my tuition fee, you see =D And I'm planning to go to Japan in May so mustn't spend too much money now.
Yesterday morning I woke up and found that I couldn't open my door. The guys have retaliated by tying the girls involved in the bathroom war's doors to the shoe racks next to our doors. I had to cut the rope so I could get out :P I went out last night with the Biz Comm people to an Italian restaurant at Tanglin Mall (it was the Biz Comm chair, vice-chair, and finance sec's treat ^_^). I got back to the hall around 9.30 and it was eerily quiet. Turned out the final years were having their Command Performance rehearsal so we didn't play anything. (Now you know that the Final years are the rowdiest among us ^_^)
Pei-yi, P & B stands for Pink and Blue... Girls vs Guys lah ^^
Tuesday, March 13, 2001, 11:40 p.m.
P & B is really fun! Since we got found out today due to the noise we made, I suppose it's okay to say it. P & B is a traditional game played in our hall. It's a game which pit the male of the species against the female. In the past, it has gone out of hand several times, which is why it's banned. This time, we're playing it illegally with some rules like the 10 pm curfew and protection of private belongings so it won't go completely out of hand. Because of all the rules, tt all comes down to water fight, actually. During these days, you have to be careful when you're walking in a roofless place, since someone might decide to pour a bucket of water upon you from the 4th floor. And it has been going on the whole day since I've been hearing screamings and water splashing from all around the hall.
What happened tonight was really fun. The girls managed to kidnap 2 guys and held them in the girls' washroom. I was previously informed of a different plan and since I just finished CG, I didn't know about the change of plan. I was in the toilet when Pauline lured her boyfriend Tze Yang and caught him for us (There's a rule where a guy cannot resist when cornered by girls). So we dressed him up in a yellow skimpy tanktop and painted his face and exposed skin with lipstick. Of course, the other guys couldn't just sit there knowing he was kidnapped, so they tried to rescue him by trying to barge every in once in a while (they had to refill upstairs in the guys washroom) armed with buckets of water. We were also armed with buckets of water, of course, which is why the washroom makes a good base. I think upstairs some of the other guys were also keeping the senior girls hostage >.< It went on for 15 minutes or so, with the 2 guys trying to run away from time to time, water splashing everywhere, screamings, black outs, etc, etc. It would've gone on for 30 more minutes until the 10 pm curfew, had the A block's RF not showed up to investigate all the noise.
We were clearly found out, since most of us were walking around the block with wet hair and clothing and the entire Jungle Wing's girls split floor was drenched with water >.< But I doubt we will stop tomorrow. Tomorrow's the last day of P & B and I'm quite sure the guys have cooked up something....... However, being drenched in water is clearly NOT a good idea for a sick person like me. I think I'm getting feverish again XP
Way the go, B block girls!

That girl refused to take down the ep 95 synopsis from her site. In her latest e-mail to me (filled with name-callings as well! tsk, tsk, how childish...) she gleefully tossed an URL to me where she supposedly got it from. And lookie, lookie, it's her school's magazine's site. People who are desperate of getting site hits are really pathetic.
*humming innocently* In the spirit of the on-going P&B, I will devote my scheming thoughts to help lure helpless men into the trap instead of wasting my energy for some terribly rude, childish person who just can't seem to understand that she has done something wrong. Bleh.
Tuesday, March 13, 2001, 12:43 a.m.
FINE. I'm running out of patience now. There's this Indonesian girl who just keeps pestering me with her nonsense and lies. She has submitted her numerous sites many times to IASC but I had to turn them down several times because they didn't fit OR filled with broken links and navigation. THEN she submitted THIS SITE, which looked fine when I checked it, until I found the episode 95 synopsis has been taken from ZS. I naturally rejected her submission and I sent her a quite sarcastic e-mail about it and she replied she got it from Kaoru Shrine, not ZS. Then I told her not to fool around, there's even a thank you to ZS at the bottom of the page. Then she e-mailed me back apologizing, saying she had just realized it. How much more stupid can you get?! And I'm still trying to look around for this Kaoru Shrine she said, because I sure haven't given permission for any such site to use it. I've only found 2 Kaoru-only shrines so far, and they are respectable, nice sites. What is irritating about this girl is that she kept feigning innocence and ignorance everytime I asked her about something. When I do pester her about something, she'll give me some vague answer I'm almost sure not true. And then there's her keep-changing alias, which she claims to be her true name, along with the ever-changing e-mail address. How many true names can you have, BTW? Even her bios in her sites are different every time.
Yeah, lately there are a lot of things in my life I can bitch about. *rolls eyes* I'm usually a very nice person, honestly! I just lose my temper easily *laughs*
Anyway, moving on to some nice things... ^^ Lately around the hall, I've been seeing these large plain black posters with small white text in the center. Some of the Christians on the hall go to this church called FCBC, and they have a strong cell group going on here, and I know they got the posters from their church. They also have similar postcards, and Joanne even sticked the postcards in front of her door. I found all the messages in them meaningful and amusing. I've been asking the FCBC people for a poster to put in front of my door, but they haven't been able to get me one :( I want one to be put in front of my door! Or the wall next to it, since I have a make-shift curtain hanging in front of my door.
Some of the text of the posters :
"I believe in you." -- God
"If I gave you everything you asked for, where would you put them?" -- God
"Don't drink and drive. You're not quite ready to see me yet." -- God
And this newly posted, terribly apt one on the pillar by the bus stop : "Don't forget to bring an umbrella. I might water the plants today." -- God
God knows how it can be bright and sunny in the morning here and how it can suddenly pours in the afternoon ^_^x

P & B just started again. Somebody hide meeeeeee!! I'm not supposed to divulge what it's about, since it's been outlawed on campus BUT errr... we still do it anyway.. *hides toiletries, sandals & shoes inside the room* I can hear screams from all around the hall >.< And water splashing.... and did I just hear footsteps on the roof? Must be my overactive imagination... or not.... *freaking out*
I'm so proud of myself today. I attended my 10 AM lecture, it was my first ever in the whole semester and it turned out to be the last lecture for the semester ^^ Did my OM project in time. Changed 50 ZS files for v3.0. Did a bit of content update on B 318
Mia, thanks for the well-wishes! I have a real craving for bubur ayam now. There aren't any nice bubur ayam here in Singapore >.<
Icha, come onliiiiiinnnnnnneeeeeee! I'm wondering just who you were referring to on your last entry, BTW.....
Yin, I'm watching Cowboy Bebop now! The songs are actually nicer once you get to hear it in the movie. Faye rocks! ^_^x
Tin-sama, thanks for the well-wishes & support! Too bad the public apology has been taken down from ff.net. I want more people to see it! ^_^x The author claimed she was having a writer's block and thought my fic was nice and etc etc. She also claimed her other fics are not plagiarized, but what was odd she took down at least one other fic besides the one she plagiarized from me, so I'm not really buying her words. Cammy was very pissed about the whole incident when I told her.
Pei-yi, holiday? I'm so jealouuuuussssss!! And FF8! *double jealousy* I'm playing FF5 (can you believe it! it's so... SQUARE-Y!) using SNES emulator on Arief's laptop hee hee hee....
Sunday, March 11, 2001, 08:56 p.m.
My next door neighbour is in 3 cultural groups and 2 committees. As far as the hall is concerned, she's confirmed to stay here again next year. On semester one she joined everything enthusiastically, acting very on about everything. However, now, she barely shows up in anything, barely worked at all, didn't participate in Expose at all (which is our hall's 5 cultural groups performances, and since she's in 3, you would've think you'd see her on stage a lot). Her reason? "I'm in Chem Eng and it's tough! I have a presentation coming, a lot of projects, I need to study more". Bleh. Bizad people like me do presentations regularly and we have numerous of projects every semester. Arief is in Chem Eng's AMP (meaning he has 7 classes compared to her 5) and he can still do other things like playing tennis for the hall's IHG team. So her actual reason? "I have a boyfriend now and I'm spending all my waking and sleeping minutes with him." And yes, the boyfriend has practically moved in next door. Never mind the hall says no member of the opposite sex in room with closed door. And despite claiming busy with schoolwork, where does she go everyday all dressed up nicely with the boyfy until late at night?
I thought I'm the only one who knows about it, since I'm directly next to her, but apparently people realized it as well, as even guys were starting to act bitchy towards her yesterday during Expose. Yeah, she did showed up during Expose. Expose was held in Suntec City, a large crwoded mall. And she showed up hanging on the arms of her boyfriend acting like she was just some casual mall visitor. THEN when the DCA people were taking pics after the show, she showed up and joined in.
I wonder whether someone will actually have the guts to propose a demerit for her *snicker* I reckon not. Even Pei Zhuan, the Dance Comm chair, THANKED her after Dance Nite and said that she deserved to get the audience claps on the stage instead of working backstage. She was working backstage? How come I didn't see her at all when rushing to and fro the stage?? And she did told me that she went off somewhere with her boyfy after watching the tech-run for a while (and came back to her room late at night way after the show was finished).
Sometimes the hall is terribly dirty in its politics >.< As long as you're talented, it doesn't matter what your working attitude is, you still get to stay again year after year. My hall is probably better compared to other halls. At least, I know some of the JCRC are quite capable of being just. I have been hearing lots of story of dirty hall politics stories from my friends at other halls, and if my hall is like that, I'd rather now stay there at all.

[[ clt : Laura Fygi ]]
I slept for 11 hours straight! *sniffed at her mug of some Chinese medicinal tea* Does this thing have a sleep incuding substance in it, I wonder? Anyway, I'm feeling genki today, despite my runny nose and baaaaadd coughs. I think I feel better today compared to the last few days. Of course, it might have to do with the fact that I won't be having anymore dance performances.
Christine, who NEVER goes online, messaged me thru ICQ yesterday with the message "I'm marriedddddd!" and she sent me a similar e-mail gushing about her new boyfriend 0_0 People are weird when they're in love LOL
I miss Mommy already.
J, how was it??
Saturday, March 10, 2001, 11:58 p.m.
I am officially sick again. And I just got well, what, 2 weeks ago? People might wonder why I'm always sick >.< I do get sick often. Everytime I'm exhausted or pushing myself for some time, then I WILL get sick. And I don't exactly have a high endurance or stamina. But still, I'm a bad girl who, despite knowing all this, still stays up till dawn, joins heaps of activities that will exhaust herself, and eats irregularly and unhealthily. Yeah, I know, I should really pay a little more care to my own health but *shrug*
Sleeping early tonight because after performance tongiht and everything, I'm really ready to fall off. And damn it, my room is a mess again. Didn't I just clean it 2 days ago??!
Saturday, March 10, 2001, 02:21 a.m.
Damn, the block is so quiet tonight. Everyone's out for the block's Night Cycling, which is, basically, cycling around the island since midnight till morning. I think it's very fun, but do I get to join it? NO. I have a Statistics midterm to study, a dance performance tomorrow night, and a make-up tutorial to attend, so I really need my rest tonight. Especially since I'm beginning to have runny nose, headaches, sore throat, muscle ache and coughs again today.
Oh yes, life just sucks lately. When's my holiday when I need it? I'm just so tired :(
Saturday, March 10, 2001, 01:11 a.m.
There just isn't any good wonderful fanfic lately. I'm so deprived! And I can't write anymore. Bleh. I want Fujimiya Ran/Aya SO badly. *evil laugh* Life just isn't fair.
Bye bye Mommy, have a nice trip!

An apology was posted on ff.net by the plagiarizer. I think she has made the right and difficult choice of openly admitting it and I applaud her for that. I need to send her another e-mail.
Thursday, March 8, 2001, 03:34 p.m.
Well, well, looks like the perpetrator of my fic has moved her fic from fanfiction.net. I have demanded her to do that in my e-mail, so I guess she complied to it. I'm still waiting for her reply though, I'm curious with what she has to say :P If any of you happen to find the fic anywhere else on the Net besides ff.net, can you please tell me about it?
Wind, thanks for your support and concern :)
Jessicaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, I want my invitation to your debut along with the plane tickets to Philipines! ^_~ Have fun, dear. Hope you catch yourself a pretty boy on that night =D
Thursday, March 8, 2001, 02:29 a.m.
Well, well. Take a look at this fic. Then take a look at *MY* FIC Plagiarism has struck.
I was surfing at fanfiction.net when I came upon this AyaxKen fic. I realized the title, "Wondering", is almost similar to my CCS fic, "Wonderings", but I dismiss it as a coincidence. Then I was reading it halfway and realized that the patterns and the sentences are MINE. The ending confirmed my suspicion. The WK fic is recently posted on March 4, FYI. My CCS fic was written last year. On fanfiction.net, you can find my fic right on the last page, page 10, of the romance genre in the CCS section.
The more I read this fic, the more apparent it is. That's *MY* style of writing she's using. In that fic I don't use names at all except in spoken sentences and such a little plagiarizer she is, she followed everything *angry mutters*
Well, well...... perhaps I should be pleased that apparently my fic is good enough to be plagiarized shamelessly? ;) I'm not in a good mood tonight, so I think I'll send the so-called author a nice short e-mail :P

I love Tin's new layout ^_~ I love purpleeeeee =D
Wednesday, March 7, 2001, 04:53 p.m.
I've been promising Syat that I'd make her a new layout so here it is! I had some fun playing with the image ^_^x and I'm currently in the mood for black layouts, so there ya go. I realize that it's very huge, especially since I'm working on 800x600 resolution but I have a habit of providing myself with a huge canvas when working and I forgot to trim things down when making this layout, so it stays big >.<
Tuesday, March 6, 2001, 06:52 p.m.
Well, well, I was reading the Monday Straits Times and read an article in the Life! section about web logs. One thing I like about Straits Times is that it always in touch with what's going on. At least the Life! section is always interesting and entertaining. Valerie thinks its other news are always biased towards pro-Singaporean views, but I suppose that's normal, it being THE nation's newspaper. But still, its local Home news are quite interesting and useful. I skimmed through the World news section and never read the news about Indonesia. Because we all know news about Indonesia, wherever you find it, is always a lie. Even if I do read it, it's only for me to laugh at. News about Indonesia is as funny as the comic strips section. And most of the times, dumber. Even Calvin has more brains.
Heard about the current Sampit riots? About this tribal Dayak killing the Maduranese in Kalimantan? I read the news about some guy's head being chopped off and his blood drunk by his killers and was mildly amused. No, I don't think such an incident is funny and deserved to be laugh at. I also think it's quite possible it's true. I've also seen some pics of the riot's supposed victims, which have been going around in the Net among Indonesians. But I still find it difficult to believe whatever I hear or read or see about Indonesia. So call me paranoid. I trust no one. I believe the truth is out there. And yes,I think there is a conspiracy in Indonesia who has plans to turn Indonesia into the first alien colony on earth. *whispers* The Dayaks are supposedly human-alien hybrids who were developed in some sophisticated high-tech secret lab in the middle of the Kalimantan's jungles!
Bwahahaha... X-Files rules!
Monday, March 5, 2001, 11:03 p.m.
*shrieks* Check out Yin's new layout at the new server! It's so cool and she dedicated it to me! I love you! *hugging Yin to death* Thank youuuuuuu :)
I was reading your blog and read about that Ayashi no Ceres folktale? There is a similar folktale in Indonesia about it as well. I think it's a very widespread kind of folktale. It would be interesting to study its origins. It should come from the same source way, way back then. *thinks* You and J should give me your mobile number. My SIM card allows global messaging so I can send SMS to people everywhere ^_~
Monday, March 5, 2001, 01:30 p.m.
To think, Icha is having fun in Bali while I'm rotting here. I really think I need a holiday.... Tomorrow is a Muslim holiday, so we have a day off school and I was asked to join the church's youth outing at the Botanical Garden but I don't think it'll give me the kind of recreation I really need.
I want to go to Bali too!! But in the past I always go to Bali with my parents and THEIR idea of a holiday is different from mine, so I was always forced to tag along visiting some boring places, although the only thing I wanted was to be at the pool or the hotel's beach. I don't like going outside the hotel, especially since the public beaches are crowded and because the hotel's facilities are adequate enough for me (provided I stay in a very nice hotel). I would have enjoyed visiting some of the temples and other interesting sites, if only someone would give a detailed explanation of the history, the structure, and all that comes along with it. Going there just to look at some temple and then go home saying you've been there is NOT interesting or useful at all. I don't even know who built Pura Besaki, when it was build, what was its significance, etc although I've been there a few times. History is one of my most favourite subjects *laughs* I'd be majoring in History if I were in the Arts faculty. That, and Jap Studies XD
I'm still so depressed :P There's still one more performance to do this Saturday, the Expose, and I'll be back in the Dance Room again soon. I'm soooooooo tired.
Sunday, March 4, 2001, 02:03 p.m.
Short message to my most darling Jap girl, Jen XD I went to that GALSoops and was just wondering whether all their hair were dyed! My hair is very black, I just lightened it once and have not done it again. I want a dye job, though. Maybe in May, when I go back to Indonesia ^_~ I like the clothes, but somehow I can't bring myself to dress up like them ^^ My wardrobe is pretty generic and boring. And I wear Nike Air shoes everywhere. If I can sprain my foot badly in them, imagine what heeled shoes can do to me. I'll probably need to be hospitalized immediately. *laughs* But I know you look GREAT in those clothes, dear! (I've seen your cute pics before, haven't I? XD) Oh and some of the very tanned girls with the very bleached hair are terrifying >.< but some are very pretty. And I like winter clothes! *wishing Singapore and Indonesia has winter*

Oh hey the Nus Anime Club website has been updated for March! And it's BLUEEEEEEE (someone definitely heard my suggestions ^_~) Check out the reviews and oh, we have our very first screening (it's perfectly legal!) coming up this Friday so people, come watch and have fun with us!
I want to have a tail so I can wag it ^_^ *wags imaginary tail*

I left out two links yesterday : Pei-yi and Shi-chan. Gomen!!!!! I think I missed putting Shi-chan's URL somewhere back when I was changing the layout. I remember I haven't been there for a LONG time (I only visited logs on my link list there on the right).
Carine, how's A level?
Pei-yi, glad you got good results!
Silver Wind, hey, thanks for linking me! A belated happy birthday to you! :)
Icha, BALIIIIIIII????????? I want!! What is this, an impromptu romantic escape with your mother? Hope you're having fun ogling the tourists on the beach and tanning yourself. (Don't you have WORK to do?)
J, just read the message you wrote on B318's gbook! Take your time, take your time :)
Gina, Kpop!
Kpop! Kpop! At least now you know you have one loyal visitor who will return every month and who will continue to nag you until you update it ^_^x

[[ clt : Sing to the Dawn songs again! I've been listening to LOTS of Jpop lately, as well as watching a couple Jdramas. I need a break! >.< ........]]
An excerpt from the Abbot song of Sing to the Dawn, esp. for Icha, since the content matches her latest entry ^^
"Everything you need to know is here,
in this village, in this tree, in this leaf,
Everything you need to know is here
It's just a matter of belief
The Buddha found enlightenment under a tree like this
And when you rush about the world, it's trees such like this you'll miss
The world is an illusion, each touch, each taste
It's fading fast, nothing we see will last
Flower fade, people die, the sun sets
The future always slips into the past
Flowers fade, people die, the sun sets........"
Added some links on the right *points to the right* All for your (and mine ^^) surfing enjoyment. Some of them I don't even know personally *grin* Susan is the owner of Revelation, IASC's sister clique. Lisette is one of those Indonesians who own an incredible site : ikkoku.net. Noo-noo is our Boyzone Farm resident hoover!!! *glomps K8* I love my Noo-noo, yes I do, although she's a total pooter ^^ Silver Wind is a member of IASC ^_~ And lastly, manic psychotic hysterical fangirls strike again at Bishoujo Diaries *warau*
*stares at her Finance book in disgust* I am going to fail tomorrow, I know it. *munch on a Kinder Schoko-Bons*

Just finished ranting elsewhere. You wouldn't want to read it, unless you're terribly nosy.
I'm experiencing the post-event exhaustion. It's more like a "blue" feeling, like when you feel restless but can't make yourself to think of something to do or do the things you have to do. It always happens when I'm exhausted after being so busy. Last year it was after the choir concert and it was during Retreat. Boy, was I being so bad-natured then. I just don't have the stamina to do one major thing after another.
Some messages :
J, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Yin, I'll be writing you soon.
Gina, I want to see the new layouts! (Kpop! Kpop!)
Sarah, I'll be writing you soon too
Err... there are several more people I need to write to but I can't remember who. Gomen. But I'll be doing my e-mails soon, as well as some site updates. Just give me time to get myself in track again.
Thursday, March 1, 2001, 12:07 a.m.
Finally it's over! Thank you God!
I did bad, though >.< I'm so upset with myself but, never mind, it was a good experience anyway. I don't think us first year girls did well, but that's understandable. For most of us, it's the first time anyway. I feel bad towards the seniors though, especially since I totally blew off "IF"'s couple part and Copacabana. But we had fun anyway. We laughed like mad on stage everytime we did something wrong ^_^x We probably laughed more than we danced.
I got lots of flowers though :) Pierre even gave me one whole bouquet like I told him to ^^ I have half a dozen yellow roses from different people (and they're all yellow! it must be the season or something...)
Thanks to everyone who came and gave me their support! I really appreciate it!
Wednesday, February 28, 2001, 05:31 a.m.
oh yeah it's 5.30 AM and I just got back from dance practice since early in the night >.< But the past few hours were fun, because most of the people have left and there were only several seniors sewing costumes and us three first year girls waiting for our costumes. We put on all the songs for tomorrow and did our steps, or when we weren't dancing, we watched as some people danced their part alone :D I like practicing when the choreographers are not scrutinizing my every move. It makes me nervous and forget my steps ^^
I'm tired, but I'm so wide awake. I need to get a shower. I haven't bathe for the whole day and I haven't eaten any meal as well. My dinner is still sitting here on top of my desk untouched. Anyway, I suppose I'll take my shower now and sleep until noon, then tech run and blocking will start at 2.15 pm and full-dress rehearsal at 4.30, the performance itself will start at 8 pm, soooooo... please, please wish me luck?
Anyone who's coming to watch me, please bring a bouquet of flowers? :)

Why are there a lot of sick perverts in Singapore? No offense to Singaporeans, but it's true. Since moving here, I've had more close encounters with the twisted-minded than my 18 1/2 years living in Jakarta >.< Some of my friends know about my current run-in with this twisted phone calls I've been getting. I am upset, harassed and irritated with it. I was so fed up with it today I immediately called the customer service and asked for a change of phone number. So those who know my old number, which was 7740184, it won't be in use starting tomorrow. If you really need my number, ICQ/MSN me and I'll tell you the new number. I had to pay $30 to have it change and an additional $20 to keep it unlisted. Just now I came back from Dance Full Run and practices and I found a message on my answering machine. I checked it out and the caller just hang up right after the beep. And what was unusual was that the answering machine will usually tell me "received from phone number xxx-xxxx at xxx pm" but this ONE phone call had no phone number to go along with it. I bet it's that pervert >.< Someone who really makes sure his phone number is unlisted before making prank calls is definitely very sick. Never mind. Starting 11 AM tomorrow, I'll get rid of him.
I'm very tired. Dance Full Run and practices were tiring and we're not getting any better >.< I was late for my shift at the Bazaar this morning and I must have looked horrible early in the morning with my tired face that my chairperson kept hugging me, thanking me for doing something, and acting very sorry if she had to ask me to do something. I feel like I'm getting a priviledge treatment with less duty and duty hours :)
SARAH! next time you're coming here you HAVE TO tell me, okay? I'm mad at you, yes I am! :D
Sunday, February 25, 2001, 11:19 p.m.
I feel much much better because today's practice went well, except for the Copa Cabana one, where I'm still very blur in. I'm very tired and still has some things to do for tonight. School opens tomorrow and the hall's Bazaar will start tomorrow. Three more days and all this will be over! We'll be having our Dance Nite internal tech run tomorrow night and the performance day is getting closer and closer and I'm beginning to feel the pre-performance nervousness. Wish me luck, OK?!
Brief run-down of the hall's performances on that day :
- the first year guys' dance. they're using this very funky Aaron Kwok song which sounds nicer and nicer the more I hear it.
- the first year girls' dance. yeah, it's the Janet Jackson's Doesn't Really Matter one >.<
- the Funkamania winning dance. I think they're adding more people in it. They're using a medley of FF8's Liberi Fatali, HOT's Aiyah, some very spooky sound effects, and this rockin' head-bangin' song I don't know the title. I have the clip of the dance during Funkamania, if anyone's interested I can send it via ICQ ^_~ It's 60 MB big but the dance is very good! (You can even hear someone in the audience yelling "Sadako!" in the middle of the dance -- Sadako being the main villainess/ghost/supernatural being in this hit Jap horror movie, The Ring [which is really eerie in a disturbing kind of way])
- the Vampire/Monster dance. The old, longer version of the Funkamania winning dance. I think they're still using HOT's Aiyah, plus BSB's Larger than Life.
- the Jimmy Ray dance. Very fuuuuunnnnnnnnnnnnn!! And they perfected it already! I should have been in this dance instead of "If"!
- the Janet Jackson's If dance. I'm beginning to like the song more and more. It's a very noisy song with lots of sounds going on but it has this beat in the background and it's nice to dance with. (I was made to listen to the beat for several times today, it's still ringing in my ears) but the dance is damn difficult.
- the Copa Cabana dance. I really don't know what the title is, but it's a really fun, semi-mass dance. It has a storyline and lead characters and uses props like tables and wine glasses. The lead female dancer will be dancing on top of the table in the beginning and all the girls will wear big, swishing skirts and high-heeled shoes (painful, painful, painful, but we get to take them off in the middle and dance barefooted)
- Adam's dance. Sexy, hip-swingin' dance *laughs* I like the songs. It's this theme from Charlie Angel's and Gloria Estefan's Turn the Beat Around. Features all the top female dancers. They are SO good.
- the contemporary dance. I haven't seen it yet but people said it's very contemporary and complicated *grin*
- the Mass Dance. They say it's traditional to perform a Mass Dance every year on every Dance Nite and every dancer must dance in it. It's also a tradition to sabo the current Dance Comm chair into choreographing it ^_~ This year the song is a Chinese-American song by this singer named David Tao and it's a very nice song. I keep humming it and people in my block recognize it immediately. It's a rainy day song, complete with the thunder sound effects so we'll be dancing with long umbrellas (I haven't borrowed an umbrella yet!) It's just so fun! Plus, there'll be about 30+ people dancing at the same time.

I'm so dead tired and I feel slightly sick.
And I've been getting really sick phone calls on my room phone from this pervert. I'm soooooooooooooooooo pissed.
Gah. I. NEED. REST.

Everyone is in the state of total stress and high tensions with 6 more days left until Dance Night. I'd rather sleep on every chance I get.
I'm always late for morning practice. This morning I woke up right at 10 AM when my practice was at 10. The I ran all the way down, still rubbing my eyes and yawning and carrying my dance shoes when I met Kar Keat, my dance senior, on the bus stop :
KK : Just woke up?
Me : *nods* *yawn* *rubs eyes*
KK : What's your name?
Me : huh? *blink, blink* Jane...
KK : how old are you?
Me : *blink, blink* Can't remember....
KK : *grin* Jia yu!! [which means something like "Ganbatte"]
But practice went quite well. The Janet Jackson's "Doesn't Really Matter" is finished, and we're just polishing things up now. The people in this dance are all first year girl dancers. The first year guys are doing their own dance. But each of us still has at least 2 other dances, not including the Mass Dance (which is really fun) and these other dances are the ones that are stressing us all. Thank God I'm not in Xinru's contemporary dance >.< I'd die in there.
Mommy, I have a really nice copy of Fly Me to the Moon mp3, along with dozens of super nice jazzy, lounge-music-like Laura Fygis.
SARAH! you should've told me you're coming to Singapore sooner! Give me a call when you can OK?
V-chan, thanks for telling me who Gigetsu is. I haven't read Clover yet, that's why I don't know ^^
Tin-sama, I'm joining the Conan Fanwork ML! Not that I'll be writing fics soon, but I'd love to read some Conan fanfics :D Oh and I love Naissance's layout *yummy Heero* Looking forward to raid both sites regularly once the submissions are in :)
Err.. I made another layout for ZS v3.0 but I'm not sure whether I'll use it ^^ And oh I forgot, I changed IASC's layout a few days ago. I keep having stupid people sending me just their name and e-mail via the submission form there. Or they'll fill all the other fields with some gibberish nonsense. And yes, they're stupid enough to fill out their e-mail address, which means I can bloody well give them some of my thoughts.
Nap timeeeeeeeeeeee :)
Thursday, February 22, 2001, 02:52 p.m.
Today I even have time to take a nap and do whatever I want for more than 2 hours!!!! I only have one morning practice and one night practice today so I'm FREEEEEEE now.
Does Geocities disallow offsite linking now? Because all my images here are stored there and they haven't been working, so I shifted them to virtue.nu.
I have 5 hours till my next practice....*looks around* My room is a total mess. Besides the usual bags, plastic bags, and papers all over the floor, there are piles of clean and dirty laundry now. I think I'll do my laundry. I'm running out of clean socks.

Got nothing to say except I got a pair of new dance shoes today (just came from Jakarta ^_~ Thanks, Mother!), was late for an important meeting due to practices, got several bruises all over my knees, got very disheartened after several more steps of "If", but got encouraged immensely by Yiling (not the Bloop Yiling, it's my senior Yiling) and got a double birthday celebration to attend in one hour.
I owe people e-mails. I don't think I can write any until Dance Night is over. So sorry. (but all of you seems to be missing all of a sudden!!!)

(yesterday)
SC : Can you do another dance?
Me : Okay....
XQ : Can you do another dance?
Me : *horrified* I already have 3 dance, NOT including the Mass Dance. I just accepted SC's dance
XQ : OK then.
(today)
XQ : You're being transfered from SC's Jimmy Ray dance to this Janet Jackson's If dance.
Me : Serious??? I'm already doing Janet Jackson's Doesn't Really Matter! Don't you think I have enough of Janet Jackson?
XQ : We need people and SC has enough already. Gaby will be joining you.
Me : Is it difficult?
XQ : No, not really
Me : Well... okay lah....
(after practicing what turned out to be a super difficult dance, once performed two years ago at the ZAAM finals and whose dancers turned out to be top JCRC, including Mr. President himself)
XQ : do you feel cheated? ^_^
Me : -_- YES!!! Let me out of here!!!!!!!!!
I love Xiao Qing, I really do.
Oh and I don't mean the person I mentioned in my previous entry is one of my friends who regularly come here to check my log. No, it's this someone else (she's Indonesian, yeah)who wrote such a thing on her blog.

Oh wow it's the Sailors!!! Reminds me of my primary school days. Yes, Sailor Moon is THAT old. "It Just Flies" is a song from Sing to the Dawn, which I like very much, because it was performed very well and because the lyrics are nice. It has nothing to do with the Sailors whatsoever, but never mind. I'm feeling whimsical from too much Laura Fygi. I'm bored of the previous layout and this one is done hastily, but I suppose it will do. I have to go to bed now, although I'm not sleepy, because I have a meeting with my group for our term project early in the morning at City Hall @_@

I totally hate people who think being in science class is (and I quote) "a plus" from social class. Sure, I might be talking just from my disappointment from not getting into science class and having my plans ruined, but after one full year in Social class and being in a social-streamed faculty now, I do not think that being in science means you're smarter than those in social. In high school, I used to think those who are good in Math and Physics are the smartest people on earth. Well, guess what, I've met a lot of smart people from Arts and Bizad, and they totally blew me away with their depth of thoughts. And during my CFM last sem at Arts & Social Science, for the first time I was actually taught to think. And when my essays might be good enough to get me in here and winged my way through out high school, I was taught that there is still much, much, much I need to work on. I wonder how much I can learn if I were in Arts. I hate Bizad. The only thing they teach me is that there is such a thing like an elusive perfect market portfolio.
