I finally got the courage to watch 1 Litre of Tears. I hesitated because I hate sad stories. But since people said it's a good story, I decided to watch it.

Before getting into the story, I need to say this first...
MATSUYAMA! ENDOU! TOGETHER!!! I don't like Matsuyama's hair. I think out of all of his roles, the best one is him as L. Ok, I only saw three, but my opinion of that was still the same. Not a big fan of Endou, but I get excited whenever I see TeniMyu actors ^.^

1 Litre of Tears is about a 15 year old girl who found out that she has an incurable disease which is progressing as she continues to live. As time goes by, she'll be unable to move freely, walk, and talk fluently. Before finding out about the disease, she has a happy life, filled with wishes that already come true. The disease has hit hard on her. As the disease progress, things keep being taken away from her. She loses her talent, her first crush, and so on.

This is even sadder because it's a true story, from a girl's diary. At the end of each episode, photos of the real girl are shown. They also show some pages from the diary. I wonder where is the diary now...

Her mother also plays the major part. She's the one who first notice the strange stuff Aya's been doing. And she's the first one who knows about the disease. It's tough on her because she has to break the news to the family. Not only her daughter is the one who has the disease, but the disease also occur in a 15 year old child.

The parts that really bring people to tears are the touchy stuff. The ones where Aya gives speeches, the stuff that people do, and the conversations related to her. Aya struggles to continue doing things that a normal person can do. Even though she has trouble doing them, she keeps at it until she's no longer to do so. Her words and actions touch the audience's hearts. This series can really make the viewers' cry one liter of tears..

After watching this series, I treated myself with doses of episode 7 of the TeniPuri OVA! Wheeeeee, Iwashi Mizu!! This 鰯 XD

Last two Fridays, my friends and I went to Cold Stone. The ice cream there is good! It's neat how they mix various ingredients into the ice cream.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention about the buffet. My nephew was there, too. I hadn't seen him for a long time. He got a pierce on his lip. My first thought when I saw that was... "He can cosplay as Shin from NANA!!" He even has the same hairstyle as Shin! All he needs is the chain. I can cosplay as Hachi with him ^.^

Thoughts on Genius 324: [Spoilers]
KSJHKCUI ROFL!!! ANUIDHVUI Couldn't stop laughing after browsing through the chapter! OMG, THE CRACK!!! ROFL!!! Momoshiro and Kaidou!!! They look like...either heroes in disguise, or those kinds of dumb underlings working with the villians XD I wonder if their new technique will last until the end and help them win the match.. At least, it got them a point.. ...Koharu and Yuuji are a weird pair... -_-" Especially Koharu >.> *Shivers* Poor Kaidou... Getting touched on the ass by Koharu... ^.^"

Last Sunday, my relatives and I celebrate my niece's one year old birthday. Her parents took us to a buffet!!! That was fun, way better than going to any of the relatives' house.. So much food! The main food the buffet had were seafood! My favorite!!! The crabs were popular. So many people were fighting over them! A few of my relatives got plates full of crabs for us weaklings. I ate a lot of seafood and fries~~! I was so full that I didn't eat a midnight snack after I got home. Since we ate so many seafood and meat, we ate a vegetarian meal for dinner for the next couple of days.

Just watched and finished watching a jdrama called Dragonzakura, because YamaPi's in it. Well, partly. YamaPi looks so cool, as always~~~ Made me stare at him all the time! And I really like his earring! Oh, right, the story. What story? Ok. The storyline is all right... It's not that good.. The main focus of this drama is studying. Sakuragi teaches the students different methods of studying and tips when taking the exam, which are pretty helpful. This drama targets mainly the students in the audience. Besides studying, the drama shows the struggles of taking the entrance exams. The teachers give all the info of what the exams consist of. I've never thought the entrance exam to Toudai is that hard... The exam covers stuff in multiple subjects and takes a few days to complete O.o It make me feel that the students who take that exam are pretty brave. Teachers in dramas are way more fun than in real life. They try to make learning fun. Or at least, they know how to influence students to learn easily.

Thoughts on Genius 322:
Not much to talk about. Everything I said are already right here.

Several days ago, I accidentally bumped into a friend, from junior high! Well, she remembered me, but I didn't remember her... We talked for a little bit. And then at night, I thought and thought some more... "Ah, her!" Like Ryoma :p lol She has changed a lot since then, but I can still recognize her face. Funny thing that a few days after, I bumped into my friend's (also from junior high) mother. I lost contact of all my friends from junior high school... But I still wonder how this particular friend is doing nowadays...

I don't really like that psychology professor anymore.. He introduces us to new vocabularies, but never writes these words on the board! If you don't know the spelling, write them down beforehand! >.< I have to sit there, figuring out the closest spellings, while the professor rambles further into the topic.. The words will be harder to look the word up since I don't remember the correct pronounciation anymore... (The textbook that the original professor assigned sucks, so the current professor will not follow it.)

Thoughts on Genius 321: [Spoilers]
Some people like Konomi-sensei and others don't. Me? I don't like him >.< Well, not to the extend. Just don't like that Fuji lost ;_; I read in the Chinese forum that some people predicted that Fuji will lose. And then, I felt drained a little bit since I felt that there's a good chance they were right. The whole match is good though. But after all those new moves and then lost? That's mean~~~! It's worse than Golden Pair's match between the Platium Pair... I don't really like the Nationals anymore. Well, I don't like it to begin with anyway. I don't know... The whole thing is just...weird... *Can't describe in words* Anyways, Rikkaidai's match against the Nagoya team begins. The players of the Nagoya team appear in this chapter. They look reeeaaally weird o.o I hope Rikkaidai wins! Go, Rikkaidai!!! I like watching the rival teams playing against each other. They are more fun to watch than the main team. I wonder if Rikkaidai's match will be shown...

At last, I finally started and finished watching Kurosagi! This series is cool!!! YamaPi is cool!!! I like the story. A swindler who swindles people but gives the money back to the victims. And the disguises YamaPi wears make him look cool! This series reminds me of Death Note in a way. People play games to cheat people, and then getting themselves outsmarted by the main character. The restaurant owner who sells information to Kurosagi acts like Ryuk! "Ningen wa...omoshiroi! Humans are interesting!" And he has a sweet tooth like L! Kurosagi is similar to Light in a way, but with a sad past. He wants to destroy all the swindlers as Light wants to destroy all the criminals. They both do something illegal in order to achieve their goals. The ending...is okay... It's open-ended..

Thoughts on Genius 319 and 320: [Spoilers]
OMG, END THE MATCH ALREADY!!! Fuji is winning a lot of points. But at the end, the score is 6-5 and a matchpoint of Fuji winning. Since the chapter stops there, I think the next one will have Shiraichi winning until deuce, or somewhere around there.

October 7th - Went to Toys 'r Us with Mina to get Mew. The specific stores aren't listed, so we're not sure with store will offer it. We decided to go to the one in Times Square. Unfortunately, none of the stores in Manhattan offer Mew. Then, we went to the one in Brooklyn, DeKalb Avenue. We overheard that some people on this line came from Times Square ^.^' If some stores don't offer it, then they should have say so in the advertisements... >.< Now, I have Mew in Pokemon Sapphire. Yay! ^.^

October 13th - Friday. The 13th and last book of Series of Unfortunate Events came out. There was an event in Barnes & Noble in Union Square with the authur and illustrator. Mina and I went there. There are so many people that we can't see the stage, so we watched the tv screen in the back of the room. They should use a bigger tv screen.. We can't even see the faces clearly >.< The authur read some text from his book. He also played the accordian and sang a sing with lots of the word "die" in it, while the illustrator drew Count Olaf. We didn't get an autograph since we weren't that big of a fan. I stopped reading this series... I'll continue one of these days, since the series is finish.
