     Okay, totally random title. ignore it. anywho. wow, you guys wrote a lot while i was gone. i got back late sunday night. tubing was AWESOME! except for the fact that I'm REALLY sore on the shoulders, arms, and right elbow. yeah, i went tubing at the zwiebels lake house. yeah, the neoprene causes some bad burns tho cause like, half the skin on my right elbow was rubbed off. it's pretty nasty. like, you know the wrinkles you have on the back of ur elbow? well, i don't have those anymore. heh. yeah. i'm sure you all wanted 2 kno that too right? well, not much else happened in wisconsin. it's kind of boring there. we went swimming a lot at the lake too. fun fun fun. well, not much else from my wis. trip, i mean, seriously, there really isn't much to do in wisconsin....at all. except maybe eat cheese. i did a little of that. and wine tasting? well, no, but my mom did. oh, by the way. if you ever go to that little peninsula coming out of wisconsin, beware, those people are OBSESSED with trolls. they should start their own blog about their obsession with trolls. it's sick.

So lizzy, glad you had fun in florida, sounds awesome. i've always wanted to go to disney world. :-( well, last night i watched "the recruit"....really good movie. i recommend it if you want to see a good movie. yep. sometimes it's sorta confusing but it all straightens out. yeah, colin fawell is in that movie. well, i'm tired, sore, and itchy from the millions of mosquito bites i have. i need to go shopping. hehe. well, g2g. ciaoness y'all! time to eat breakfast! yippee! call me if you want 2 do somthin this week! i have 2 babysit friday night and maybe today or tomorrow night but otherwise i'm free in the afternoon and on thursday, and today. well, call me!      yeah, most of you probably all ready know about this but they are arresting/fining people for music piracy:

Hundreds of individuals are being targeted for copyright violation
US record industry officials have already won 871 subpoenas to identify music pirates illegally downloading songs over the internet. More than 75 subpoenas are being granted every day, US courts said on Friday. The subpoenas are part of the industry's battle to clamp down on music piracy, and have been spearheaded by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). They will force telecommunications companies to identify file-swappers, who are usually only known by their codenames. The RIAA, which represents the major record labels, announced last month it would pursue individual users following a court ruling making it easier to track down copyright violators. The RIAA has said it plans to send its subpoenas over the next eight weeks. Users charged with piracy could face lawsuits for damages ranging from $750 (£480) to $150,000 (£96,100), which are applicable under US copyright laws. The RIAA has said it is prepared to discuss settlements, however. The RIAA had said it would go after internet users who had uploaded many songs, but some of the filed subpoenas cited as few as five representative songs. It has not said how many songs would justify a lawsuit. "We would have to look at historic trends, but that is a very high number," said Alan Davidson of the Center for Democracy and Technology, a civil liberties group opposing the lawsuits. "It doesn't sound like they're just going after a few big fish," he said. The RIAA has said it plans to use software robots to search for copyright violations, as well as sending warnings to universities and businesses demanding they remove illegal material. It has already been disrupting the file-sharing networks with fake files of its own which contain white noise. But music fans are reacting with a new generation of file-sharing software that tries to prevent monitoring. A version of "Kazaa-lite" says it can stop outside parties scanning email addresses and listing songs on individuals' hard drives.

just to let yous guys all know. i guess it is "justice" but it is unfair that some people could get fined a lot and others not as much. oh well. i really think they should just shut down websites that provide this kind of music. i mean, some people use legit websites like iTunes to get thier music. whatever. kazaa users are probably going to get hit that hardest because everything is documented and shared. okay that is all i had to say.

     Well, Kelly Baker informs me that she has just done my life long dream and met someone i truely love (celebrity - that is.) She says she met Daniel Radcliffe. Maybe I'm gullible, but i really believe her. (Is this a big joke? Please tell me if it is.) I've never had a more jealous summer in my life. My friend from volleyball camp got back stage passes to an NSYNC concert a few years back and actually went to their club (she wasn't allowed in b/c of the 21 thing, but her friend got to dance with Justin...*grrrr*). Now Kelly has met one of my loves. I'm so unlucky. I don't think i've ever met a celebrity that really matters to me. (And she didn't give me a autograph. She's knows how much i love him, she was teasing me last year!) But yeah. That makes me sore distressed. Thought i'd share my sadness.

     Well, Anne. Mormon, or "The Church of latter Day Saints" is an extremely strict branch of Christainism, or Christianity, if u prefer. But anywho u can't drink alchy-hall or gamble or anything really. But the super odd thing about that is that u can have more than one wife. It's so funny because they are so horribly strict, but u can have more than one wife. Well, I thought it rather amusing. Ah-hem. Um. Well, natalie. Does legolas approve of u having a boyfriend that does not take human form? I wonder if the people who created that site/character really thought that anyone would fall in love with it....hmmm...major ponder-ige. Natalie, I'm dying to see potc again. I got the soundtrack and it's truely stupendous, and it's actually helping me not go psycho on everyone because i just can't have my daily dose of the pirates of the carribean. (and to think i actually thought i really wasn't going to like it...) Don't worry about the dori thing nat. I can't remember what i was talking about half way through a sentence. Anne, u think depp's sorta sexy too? Whew...I thought i was absolutely off my rocker. Guess what. Jess just got back from a cruise to alaska. Crazy, u'd think they'd be opposites. Criuse and Alaska. oh yeah, alex (kim) and i made a plan: today we're going to fly to nyc wearing matrix outfits (him as neo and me as that girl, whateva her name is, i forgot) then we'll do those mission impossible stunts until we get to chinatown and then we'll buy one of those illegal copies of potc, then to the mission impossible stunts to my aunts apartment and watch it on her dvd player just to make sure it works. and if it doesn't, then we hunt down the guy we bought it from, and beat him up with matrix style moves until he gives us our money back. and then do the same process until we find someone who sells one that works. my buddy got the matrix2 there and it worked. 5 bucks. nice. yeah, he saw the movie, he said it was good but he definitely doesn't like it as much as us! lol. it's great.

     the beatles, my friends, invented rock and roll. think, no alternative with out them. we would be a country overrun by reggae, jazz, classical, and country. nothing wrong with those, infact classical keeps me from eating my sisters alive. anywho. speaking of, the new trend this season is a cross between sargent pepper and joseph and the amazing techicolor dreamcoat. not kidding. go to wet seal and you'll figure out what i mean. so i made a mix tape yesterday and i think i did a pretty good job. okay so since i do not have swim team anymore (conference was today) i can do anything on tuesdays and thursdays. i have lost all my sense of style but gained a new found glory (haha) in comfort. don't be surprised if i show up in august at school wearing sweats and a hoodie. yay for comfort.

I don't have such a fascination with Orlando anymore? It's weird, after PS I was like, wow, I really don't have such an obsession for him anymore. My pix are almost meaningless now. i'm sure u all no who this is...anywho. i had a site party last night and it was bueno! yeah, except most of the guys played HALO all night. so that was weird. lol. well, yeah. harry potter...well, i guess i just wasn't a big fan of it when i read the first book. i saw the movies. hehe. they were ok i guess. anywho, that ginny and cho chi or whatever his/her name was....what was up with that? it looked like 2 girls. >_< scary. i'm sure it was a guy and a girl, i hope. but what the heck? ok, i need to catch up on this parry hotter (i'm lovin it...lol), kay, fine, harry potter crap. sorry, crap wasn't the right word. i've been saying that a lot. thanks to strong bad. hehe. anywho....yeah. what's been happening since the 2nd book? i saw the movie, so it's all good.i'm sure it's pretty different than the book, but whateva. they got the basics right? i kno the first movie was pretty close with the first book. :-)

     Man, I'm back from volleyball camp at ND and it was fun. But i really missed pirates of the Carribean. Anne...you did an awesome job reviewing it...just what i was thinking ;))! Yep, I think it's good drawing and all, but the picture explains itself...(if u couldn't tell that's cho and ginny with a very confused/surprised harry in the background) Well, anywho, Nat. Since u are over Orlando Bloom, can I have him? I am still obsessed with him...I really think it's gonna be a while before i let him go...<*sigh*> So hot...but yeah. POTC was truely, truely amazing. It's my favorite movie of all time of all time. Of course I loved LOTRs and Harry Potters (they are amazing), but I knew what was happening because I read the book and loved the book so I knew I would love the movies. But anyway I had no idea what was going on in POTC and i just adored it. Well, yeah. My fav. movie. That was some rant but now the rant has passed. Natalie, I can't believe that u could read the 1st Harry Potter book and not be intregiued (spelling) to read the rest. I actually hated reading until i read harry potter. I used to loathe it and now I love it thanks to JK Rowling. Speaking of loatheing to loving, I discovered i love the beatles. I used to hate them and think they were just over-rated hippies. Now, since my friend Marlis burned me their cds, i adore them. They are great. (Anne, that song u just posted is by HOT HOT HEAT. hehe, that song is HI-LARIOUS!)

     Okay, bad hair day. "Seriously". (my fav. homestar quote! :-D) Well, anne, nice limerick. it didn't really go, and didn't really make sense. but whatever. anywho, is this nagel kid hot? lol. well, yeah. On Project Serve I had the thickest hair and my hair equaled three other girl's hair combined. pretty sad huh? lol. One day I straightened my hair with a straightening iron and not only did it make my hair super straight and longer but NOT FRIZZY! So I'm gonna go out and buy one of those ceramic heated plate thingy-poos that aren't supposed to damage your hair and straighten my hair. It took 45 minutes to straighten all of my hair. and i wasn't even doing it. my friend kristen was. hehe. wow. imagine how early i would have to get up. pretty sad. sigh. yeah, my hair was really soft when i straightened it too. softer than usual. so everybody was petting my hair. it got kind of annoying so I put it up in a bun, then everyone started trying to pull it down so that they could pet it.      ALRIGHTY FOLKS! I AM HOME! I actually came home the 8th but I'm writing on here today. WOOHOO! Well, I actually found out that the missions trip is only 800 dollars. You pay 300 yourself then send out letters to raise 500. That sounds a little more reasonable doesn't it? Hehe. Yeah, well, I'm really bored so PLEASE call me to do something kay? Tomorrow I'll only be available in the evening because my mom is working and i have to watch my little bro with matt, I also have a couple of chores to do. :-) One more thing: do any of you want to go to my Project Serve celebration party? It's on July 20th (I think) at 6pm at my church, Wheaton Bible Church. My parents can probably give whoever needs a ride a ride but you'll have to call me first. You all kno my phone number! I haven't read any of the harry potter books besides the 1st one. HEHE. I'm not really planning to. I'll just watch the movies. They suite me just fine. LOL. I can wait for every November. You know what's weird? I don't have such a fascination with Orlando anymore? It's weird, after PS I was like, wow, I really don't have such an obsession for him anymore. My grandma (as you probably know) makes and sells jewelry and while my cousin and I were organizing my Grandma's jewelry I found this gold and sapphire ring that fit my ring finger perfectly! So I asked my grandma for it and she gave it to me, along with some pearl and ruby earrings. Too bad I don't have pierced ears! My mom will probably wear them more than me! :-) Well, yeah, it's a really pretty ring. Anywho, sorry if I'm bragging, I didn't mean to. I really feel bad when I'm too prideful, I learned that on project serve. (BTW, I thought it was 600 because both my brother and I went and that would be 300 each, so 600, I just didn't think about that when I was typing. hehe) Well, I've g2g so that's all for now. Oh yeah, one more thing, thank you SO much for supporting me on my decision not to listen to any of my secular music for a whole year.      Anne, that Harry Potter article sounds hilarious. I'm going to read Expecting Adam and The Wedding. Those both sounded upbeat so i figured i'd give them a shot. Sleeping with Angels sounds a bit too depressing for me. It's probibly a good book, but i really don't feel like reading about nuns setting on fire with 5 year olds durring the summer. Maybe when the school year starts... But that is really ironic that you were reading that book and then stopped because of summer reading. It's rather funny but i do know what you mean. My parents and even my aunt (my cousin is going to South next year and she wanted me to set a good example for him on summer reading or something) are really bugging me about getting started but I'm afraid that if i read them now with a month left I'll forget it all by the time school starts. So i keep telling myself i'll read it in Augusto. Good excuse, eh? Now i'm talking like I'm from Canada, eh? Well anywho, I don't know if you all know Miss Fisher, but she was ref. at my summer league game and it was aweful. She was totally against us. I mean, you can call bad fouls, but call it both ways. ARGGGGG. I went to an overnight camp at Norte Dame du Lac (haha! like that French????) and it was a lot of fun. However, almost everyone there had an accent. My roommate was from Missouri! Even this girl from Southern Ill. had a southern accent. I'm serious, southern Ill. should just break off from Ill. and move to the south. But my point is that when i got home after spending a week with these people i had an accent!!! It was horrible it took like a day or two to get it away it was funny.      harry potter is getting scary, man. these 7 year olds that are reading this are gonna be conused. poor parents. mommy, what's a mental disorder? no just kidding. they had this really funny article in the suburban living section of the daily herald the day the new book came out detailing what kind of counseling harry potter will need when and if he grows up. they had a professional from each branch of psychology diagnosing him, etc. it was hilarious. the really funny thing was some people ACTUALLY TOOK THE ARTICLE SERIOUSLY!! oh well. btw: jk rowling makes more than queen elizabeth II. hehhe. or is it she is richer than the queen? i can't remember. so what summer reading books are people trying to read? i use the word trying because it is something about summer reading that makes you dread a book, even if you have read/were planning to read it before. i was reading "to sleep with the angels" for about 2 chapters BEFORE i learned it was on the summer reading list and now i can't pick it up. that is really bad. oh well. i'm trying...

     wRen i am so horriblely terriblely surprised right now. How could you have hated Harry Potter? Did u really read it all? I was really tearing at the end when harry was yelling at Dumbledore. I don't know how you could think that scene that funny lizzy. Yeah, when he was throwing stuff and dumbledore said a few funny things but Harry was truely scarred (mentally). So yeah that was the only book i had ever even teared in. I've never cried for reading. Those books are so amazing i am rereading them again until my brother finishes the 5th book so i can have that 5 layer effect. There is literally so much to think about. And nat...you're coming home tomorrow so a pre-"Welcome Back!!" to you. I totally agree with anne on the music thingy. You really have a strong will.      Alrighty, the link worked for me. hhmm...funny. oh well. Thanks for fixing it! :-) Yeah, ur right anne, missions trips are DEFINITELY more, i dunno, "intense" then retreats. Mainly because I was evangelizing and we spend about 2 hours or more a day focusing on God through Worship, prayer, or devos. It's SO much fun. Also it's a longer period of time. 3 days vs. 2 weeks. ya know? anywho, if any of you are interested in coming on Project Serve next year just tell me! It takes some preparation, it's best if you spend time in prayer before you decide to go on the trip. it's 1100 dollars. you pay 600 up front and then you send letters to people and they will hopefully send you 500 dollars. to cover the rest. if you end up not making enough money then that's okay. as long as you paid the 600 and at least got some money in return to the letters. well, yeah, PLEASE I BEG YOU ALL look at the pix online. I REALLY want you to. THANKS! I'm SO glad that most of you are supporting me on my decision as well! THANKS! Anywho, I have to be going now. But PLEASE check out the website and pix.      HEY! Okay, so I'm not really back home. Cause I'm still in New York. But I'm done with Project Serve and it was an AMAZING, LIFE-CHANGING, AWESOME, GREAT, INCREDIBLY FUN, SUPER, INCREDIBLE, EXTREMELY BUENO trip. I'm SO GLAD that I went. I really feel that I'm a new person. Also, I have decided that I will not listen to any of my secular music for a whole YEAR. yes, a YEAR. So, I'm about to go out and buy some Christian Rock and you can all tease me, ridicule me, or do whatever you want but I really don't care if you disagree cause I feel that this will really help me spiritually. Anywho, I'm really into worship music right now too since Project serve. Also go here and find Project Serve 03 pix, then click on Bible Open Air Team to see pix of me and my site. I really LOVE my site. they're SO AWESOME! I was crying almost the whole way to my grandma's house from the camp we were at cause I ALREADY missed my site. They're so awesome. It has a miniature executioner's outfit on - the bag with eyeholes, and the axe, and stuff. And it has evil, glowing red eyes. And it laughs at you in a teeny distorted voice, and then it grabs you with its little claws and drags you off to the eternal pit, laughing evilly the whole way. And I AM that little bird.
