More Hyde

Background Noise: The View

I spruced Hyde up a little bit. I'm still not happy with the layout of this thing. I'm terrible at design. I'm thinking of finding a picture of Hyde with some pretty pastel colors in it...

I've got so much to do, it's driving me crazy. I should be drawing right now. Or working on my art history take home. Mnah. I will have all this stuff done before the weekend. For once I would like to have a nice, relaxing weekend.

Need a little distraction? Try this.

Background Noise: Diana Krall - Maybe You'll Be There

Back from home again. I'm stuck here til Thanksgiving. I'm counting down.

I went shopping and saw Zoolander. I bought both Diana Krall and System of a Down's latest albums. Gives me something to listen to when I'm feeling bipolar. >_>;;

I also bought a handful of new prismacolors, so I'm off to do some sharpening.

Zing.

Background Noise: System of a Down - Jet Pilot

Mnah. I just got back from a weekend at home. I'm looking forward to next weekend so I can go home again. I don't like it here as much as I used to.

Life is so boring now. There's never anything to do. No new people to meet. No cool stuff to see. I'm in a rut, a painful, painful rut. Listening to the heavy metal music isn't helping either. My melancholly has slowly turned to violence.

Good thing I don't have a bat.

Background Noise: Jackie Chan - Zen Me Hui

I went to a second cousin's wedding yesterday. Her groom's family lives here, so this is where the wedding was. As a result, only a few members of the bride's family could make it up for the ceremony. Including me, there was only eight. When you're used to 50+ members of your family at a function, it's a bit of a change.

It wasn't a Catholic service as I had expected. It was Presbyterian. The mother of the bride was a little dissapointed at the lack of a proper Mass and all, but the rest of my family (I was the only non-Catholic member there) had no problem with it.

Luckily, most of my Catholic family doesn't care about any difference between Catholic and Protestant. However, my Catholic family and the Presbyterian in-laws started poking fun at Baptists at the reception. >_>;; I couldn't defend myself.. because they were right most of the time.

The wedding itself was very nice. I love weddings. I get all girly and start planning my own. I also hate them because I get all depressed over not having my own boy. Hopefully I'll find one like my cousin's new husband. He was very nice, good looking, and just an all-around great guy.

Anyway.. I'm glad I went. My cousin seemed happy to have me there.

And the cake was good.
