I bought Maladroit the other day. It's tasty. I'd rank it up there with Pinkerton, still behind blue album (my eternal favorite), though. My favorite songs are Keep Fishin', Slob, and Dope Nose. It's also got my favorite Weezer cover art and liner note design too. Yay, Weezer.
Work has been pretty slow. I was told today that I might get to go over to the graphics department soon and help them redesign NAVOCEANO's website. (As you can see, it needs a little jazzing up.) I'm excited about the oppourtunity, but I'm worried at how good a job I'll do. (As you can see from this little page, I'm less than professional and much less than expert.) The lady I talked to gave me the impression that the other graphic designers were just learning webpageing themselves, so it should be okay. She also mentioned "software", so I imagine I'll end up using some Dreamweaver/Frontpage type thing. If there's one thing my Xplo-sama has taught me, it's to be a hand-coding elitist. Anyway, it'll look nice on my resume and will impress my design professors back at school. XD
I've met some DDRing locals on the DDR Freak forums. There's a big gathering at the Grand Arcade on Thursday nights that I'd really, really like to check out, but work and other obligations are going to make it hard to do that. I'll just have to lose some sleep one night, I suppose. >.> I also met a DDR guy who goes to State. I'll have to meet him in the fall. Yay.
I was looking for a fun quiz to put at the end of this, but I couldn't find one I hadn't already done. How sad is that?

You know, a full time job takes up a lot of time. Funny, that. >.> It's actually a pretty nifty deal I've got. My boss is really relaxed and the work isn't the least bit taxing. In fact, I didn't do much of anything today. The library was empty, and we got off an hour early anyway for the holiday. Woo.
I can't wait to go to the graphics department. It'll be more work, but it'll probably be more fun. Woot.
What else, what else.. I played DDR 4th Mix at the Grand Casino Gulfport. Tres nifty. I haven't played my Konamix a whole lot. I'm just too tired. >.>
I never got my Apolo layout done. His birthday was Wednesday. I hope you all celebrated appropriately. I'll probably do that layout some other time.
In other news, my Xplo-sama made a quiz!
What Kind Of Fucking Quiz-Addicted Retard Are You?
Isn't that cute?

Well. I'm not dead. I'm back home, though. And I'm on my parents' computer. I've got to get mine unpacked and online. I hate Windows. >.>
I haven't gotten my grades yet, but I know I have an A+ in painting. The very same class I was angsting over at the beginning of the semester. I'm even planning on taking it again when I can. Go figure.
I spent the morning getting my teeth filled. That was fun, as usual. I tried to get my closets cleaned out so I can finish unpacking, but I had to sleep off a headache once the novacaine wore off. Bleah.
I hope I get to go play DDR this week, sometime. A friend went to the Grand Casino this weekend and found a 4th Mix. And apparently the 3rd Mix at Boomtown has been replaced by a 5th Mix. So now we have 3rdKorea2, 4th, and 5th. Double w00t. I also ordered my Konamix (along with the Apolo book. Yay.

Yay! I get to go home on Thursday! Which means I should be packing up and getting stuff in order for finals. But, I'm not. Instead, I rented Grand Theft Auto 3. I've been playing it and ignoring the piles of work I have to do. It's just such an awesome game, though. Even if I'm not terribly good at it. You know, there's something undeniably poetic about jacking a convertable and driving off to gun down a drug dealer while "La Donna E Mobile" plays in the background.
I drew a boy in a pink shirt.
I also saw Iron Monkey last night. Quentin Tarintino's name was all over the credits and the DVD case... but I still can't figure out what exactly he had to do with the film. Donnie Yen played Wong Kei-ying. Hargle. The kid who played little Wong Fei-hung was pretty cool too. I wonder if he's been in anything else...
