Happy Birthday to me. >.> I'm twenty... and I'm not sure if I like it. I don't want to not be a kid anymore. If I keep having birthdays like this people are going to start expecting me to act like a responsible adult. I just can't hang with that.
In happier news, UPS tracking says my Tidus action figure was delivered, so I get him tomorrow. Yay! I hope the Apolo poster I bought from eBay gets here soon too. I'm getting worried about it. It would be nice to get two birthday presents in one day, though. :d
I went home for Easter. Went to my friend's bridal shower, went to church Sunday morning, had Easter dinner, and all kinds of fun stuff like that. I got to play a teensy bit of Shenmue II. It's tasty. I'm so glad it's in Japanese. I don't know if I could have taken four more disks of those voices. ^_^;; And Ren's voice is so kawaii. Ren is kawaii. If I don't get to see more Lan Di, at least I'll have Ren. And he's got a ponytail too! I should redo that shrine of mine again..
In more fun news, check out Dave Barry's take on short track. I love Dave Barry. ^_^
I'm tired, so I'm going to post this while I've still got birthday left. Bai bai.

Not much to talk about today. Just stuff I'm getting and stuff I got and stuff I want. I am such a spoiled little brat. Anyway. I ordered my birthday present today. I finally get my de-lux Tidus action figure! *hargle* I can't wait til it gets here. Then I can get the Bahamut figure. w00t.
I'm also going halfsies with my brother on an European import copy of Shenmue II. (Take that X-Box. ¬.¬) He's already got it at home and is playing it. I have no clue what it's like, but I will soon. Are you jealous yet? Lan Di, Lan Di, Lan Di. XD
And speaking of games... I want Freedom Force. It just seems so groovy. I doubt they'll make a Mac version though... One can hope, though. :d
Well, I should go pack. I'm going home. :D Happy Easter, everybunny! *gigglesnort*

Okay, this is fairly disturbing, but it had me tickled. Of course, I'm really tired, so everything's tickling me right now.
So, yes. I watched the Oscars last night. All twelve hours of it. I'm not sure why... Lord of the Rings was the only nominee I'd seen. I'd like to see A Beautiful Mind, Monster's Ball, and I Am Sam... but I haven't. I have, however, seen 40 Days and 40 Nights. There's something terribly wrong here, yes.
Anyway, back to the Oscars. What was I going to say...? I forget. Must not have been important. You know, Cirque de Soleil would be so much cooler if they weren't so French all the time. Italy should have a performance art circus. That would own. I'm not sure why, but I have a feeling.
I'm already considering a new layout. Yeah yeah yeah, it'll be Apolo. I'm a sick, obsessed little fangirl... but I enjoy it. Maybe I'll have it up for his birthday in May. Or maybe I'll be lazy and Tidus will be around for a year or so. I've also got a Halloween layout in mind, featuring System of a Down. Woo. Scary.
Too lazy to come up with a fun ending, so here's the official Out of Context Television Quote of the Night - "Why can't Portugal take a freakin' hint?" - Conan O'Brien
I really need sleep...

Happy Spring, everyone. I love Spring and all... but this year, my allergies are killing me. I've been sniffly, drowsy, and completely useless all day. Seeing as I've got to get myself together for the undergraduate show next week, it's not a good time to be completely useless.
(Warning: Fangirlishness ahead, skip this if you're ready to strangle me for talking about Apolo so much.) I got my Seattle Times newsprint Apolo poster. It's so pretty. It's got Apolo posing in his starting position in front of the US flag. Rrrowr. I need to see about getting a back issue with the gold medal poster. I want to get Lauren one too. I'm also waiting on a girl the Apolo Yahoo! Group I frequent to finish compiling her Apolo tape so I can get copies for myself, Lauren, and Karyn. I promised them copies of my own, but it's kind of puny. (We'll just see if they're still fangirls by the time I get my hands on those tapes...) Oh, and some icing for the Apolo cake, the latest entry in my sketchbook.
Now.. I was going to go on about something else... but I've lost my train of thought. Oh well. Here's something funny I found in the topic over at #AFSM. I thought it was hilarious. Speaking of funny somethings, I recently discovered a nifty new webcomic, Something Positive. Choo Choo Bear is just too kawaii. Dzaaaaa!
And speaking of kawaii and #AFSM (which I'm sure I did, somewhere back there), here's Lucy's take on those trendy web doll things you see all over the place. Cute cute cute.
And finally, I always figured I was the priest, cleric, white mage type. Now I have undeniable proof. Boo-ya.
You know, I told a friend that if I ever got a tattoo, I'd get one of the 8-Bit White Mage from FF1. It's a good thing I don't get drunk... she might hold me to that.

Yes, P. Diddy. It's Apolo's favorite song. So bite me.
I'm back from Spring Break. It was fun. Didn't get to go ice skating, but my brother gave me his rollerblades and I've been zipping around on those pretty easily. I saw 40 Days and 40 Nights. It was crap. Dull and stupid. I don't even find Josh Hartnett that attractive. Paulo Costanzo was in it, though... I think he's adorable. I also got to see Ice Age, which was much better. Very cute. I loved the neurotic little squirrel thing. Reenforces my theory that squirrels are the most psychotic species on the planet.
I also spent a whole day in casino arcades with a friend playing Dance Dance Revolution. We were exhausted by the time we got home. Butterfly Upswing is a fun, fun song.
I've got a cell phone now. It's all nifty and stuff. I can walk around with it and look all cool. It's got a loud sixties-ish flower patterned cover. Tres chic. I've also got a summer job. Hopefully. The personel lady said I was first on her list. I'll probably have some kind of clerical position at NAVO.
I spent the rest of the week painting, playing Diablo II and EQ, and sleeping. It was a nice week... but it was too short. Oh well, I guess I'm that much closer to summer vacation. *sigh*

I am up way too late. I just got finished with my homework. I'm going to be panicking tomorrow, trying to get a graphic design project done... but it's all good. After about noon tomorrow, I'll be on my way back home. A whole week with no class. That's going to be so nice, even though most of the time I'll be painting and reading. I'll be home. *_*
I plan on going skating (ice and roller, I rock), maybe be dragged to a club, and visiting the dentist. Fun fun.
Now, please excuse me while I relive my childhood...
Funny, I've always identified with Shy Violet. ^^;

Arigatou to Lauren for sending this pretty pretty song to me. *_* Wuv Hyde.
Finally, February gets archived. It's the shortest month, but I think I blogged more this month than any other month. Mostly about Apolo, Apolo, and yes... even more Apolo. I can imagine everyone's relief now that they don't have to look at my Olympic rantings anymore. (Apolo!)
Moving on to a brand new subject (something that has become incredibly hard to do...) I found the Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back two-disc DVD set today for only $20. I couldn't resist, so I bought it. I watch it tonight... it's so silly, but I love that movie. ^^; And there's like... a whole other movie's worth of deleted scenes. Not to mention music videos, a gag reel, a guide to Morris Day and the Time, and a whole mess of other stuff. Kevin Smith rocks. (I am such a geek.)
Anyway... here's March's first pointless quiz...
