So second week of damage control
the roof is back up - although the weatherproofing isnt
And for all those that were concerned - i'm alright
thanks for the concern
the roof collapsed around 2-3 am
a local sheriff doing a passby spotted water coming out of the front doors and called the fire dept
then the fire dept called us
got there around 545/6am that day - and stayed till round 7
in the pouring rain
needless to say - wasn't a very good day
and now - about a week and a day later
things are starting to go back to normal
tomorrow we're gonna try to reconnect the gas
get the paintline going
etc....
VEGAS was a truly welcomed respite
had a lotta fun as i said before
kinda made this week easier to handle
and now - i can't wait for the weekend
all i really want is a good nights sleep
no stress - no worries - no work related things on my mind
so for all those people out there that think their bosses are pricks - (well some of them are) - but it really is hard to be a manager

So after a really hard week at work
decided to go with my friends to vegas afterall
was pretty damn fun
Kevin's GF's Aunt has a brand new house there
4bedroom - it was nice - no furniture - and each of us had our own room
heh was really cool
had a good time
gambled a bit
ate a good amount
drank a good amount
went to Studio54 and then crashed
all in all a pretty good trip

The roof - the roof is coming down
warehouse roof collapsed at work
luckily no one was around
complete destroyed our Production office
meaning industrial sales
Inventory Control
Scheduling
and sniff sniff Plant Engineering
our offices are gone.....
gonna be a long couple of weeks of damage control

lots of changes
my boss ED resigned on tuesday
so the interim boss that i've been working under while Ed's been in china has become my boss for real - for now at least
so like i said - lotsa things are changing
hopefully i don't get changed with them ;-p
anyways - that's about it for now

been pretty quiet lately
watched Ghost in the Shell: Innocence.
was interesting...
especially trying to watch widescreen with really small subtitles
picture looked really really good - but was really really hard to read
other than that - works been pretty good-
on monday and tuesday - gonna be working the night shift - from 4pm till probably 1 or 2 am
y you ask
because there's a major repair needed on the paintline - and the only time we can do it is at night
so being the Maintenance Manager - i have to be there when work is being done
so next week's gonna be very tiresome
other than that - work seems alright- even though i have this foreboding feeling about it
don't know why - but just don't feel too good about it
anyways - that's it for now
nothing much new
nothing much going on
just biding my time
till this work week is gone

Dang it's been a long time since i updated
don't know why i haven't kept up with it
but here goes
my luck hasn't exactly been the best lately
my driver side door got massively scratched -
because my neighbor has a massive door guard and likes to rest it on my car when she gets out
and because she's a fatass..the car dips then pops back up when she get's out...
there by causing the door guard to knife into my paint - and make a happy v shape on it.
so it happened once...so i figured it happend at work
then it happened again
then i knew for sure it was my neighbor
i confronted her about it
and she was like "i've never hit your car"
i dont' know how this could have happened
i'll be more careful from now on
i wouldn't want to scratch your nice car
DAMMIT WOMAN... you already GAVE ME TWO NICE LARGE V MARKS!!!!!... was what i wanted to say

so let's see - after that - bunch of random stressful things
happened at work
stuff i don't really want to talk about
and just feeling tired - and worn out in general
so being chinese and all - i figure it's time for a change
so since my parents are pretty traditional i spose
i've had feng-shui beaten into me for a very long time
hence the liscense plate.. and other random stuff - ifyou ever come to my bedroom and apt.
In thinking this way
i figured i'd change the angle of my bed - so now it's perpendicular to my door.
(Supposedly bad luck if yer bed is parallel and facing the door, idea is that it's easy to wisk away your spirit)
changed the angle of my computer as well - so that i can see the door somewhat
(once again bad luck to have yer back facing the door)
and lastly - put up a crystal to bring more good chi into the room i.e. sunlight
so we'll see how that goes
heh....it's kinda fun thinking bout all this stuff
well that's it for now
guess i'll update again when i remember too

So it was quite the interesting weekend
met my cousin in Irvine during lunch
then went to Irvine Subaru
where i got to test drive a used 04 STi
MAN..... ULTRA BADASS!!!!
seriously first time i've felt SO controlled on the road
a very impressive car.
only one gripe
the differentials kinda bug - cuz they pop when they lock in
so it kinda feels like you just hit a really hard speed bump
or curbed your car
DEFINATELY gonna get one when i can....
after the test drive
met up with mimi and janice
then headed back to LA
had dinner at Echigo's
then went back to Irvine
drank / mario-carted
then crashed
woke up early and headed down to SD
played some texas hold em / scrabble / and just lazed around
then headed back to irivine
where i had dinner with Mimi
chilled at Janice's apt till about 930
then headed back to LA
and crashed for the night
i think i drove a total of 475 miles this weekend

Spent the weekend drinking with the co-workers
and in Irvine
was pretty cool
Drank a lotta beer
Went clubbing in Laguna
chilled with Janice/Mimi/Connie
then headed back to LA
and had a BBQ w/ lip
rented SRS racing / Burnout3
and now the week is beginning
hope it's a good one
that's it for now
pretty boring i spose
but haven't really thought about anything so that's all i gotz

It's so f-ing hot down here
it's annoying
so funny thing
it started sprinkling today in City of INdustry
and everyone was like we should close the skylights
so i waited for a bit and then sent one of my mechanics
15 mins later - it started pouring like there was no tomorrow
i ran out the door - climbed up the stairway access to the roof as fast as i could...nearly falling
cuz it was slightly slipperty
to close this one skylight that's right above the office panels
rain falling down - blinding / soaking me as a climb
and what happens when i get to the top???
rain stops......
wtf is that!
so me and my mechanic finish closing up the skylights and climb back down
next
put my car in for service
broken fog light / dead speaker / radio fizzes in and out / leaking motor oil / 45k checkup
and they rent me a Ford Mustang
man i hate american cars . . . so floaty
handling is really bad
man when i got back into my car - i felt so good
so once again- ONLY european / japanese cars for me

Man been a while since i updated this eh?
well the weekend was pretty cool
hung out with a bunch of people
got way too drunk
paid for it the next day
detoxed
then hung out with some more people
all in all a pretty relaxing and fun weekend
as for today at work - not too bad - things got done
pretty status-quo
just finished watching an EP of Sekai_no_Chuushin_de_Ai_wo_Sakebu
it's actually a pretty good jdrama
slightly depressing - but interesting
