So i downloaded Jade's Version of 1000 Words - the other song in FFX-2 - oh i'm about 85% complete - and i think i'm gonna have to play it again - to get the damn extra ending at 100% cuz apparently i missed something . . . but we'll see - maybe i can get away with it....

but Jade's version of 1000 words isn't bad - Real Emotion on the other hand really blew....
but for all those that haven't played FFX-2 - i seriously recommend it - it starts out kinda silly - and you get flashbacks of Charlie's angels and such - but when you get towards the 4th and fifth chapter - it becomes a FF game again - and is seriously bad ass.....

oh and i'm saw the trailers for FFXII - looks decent though the guy looks a lot like tidus.... hehe - you'll be happy steph....

he liked it . . complimented me on it - now i'm gonna probably have to do like a million more...... me and my big mouth - dammit i better get a raise.
um.... just bought the Wandering Arc of Kenshin - 88 bucks from DeepDiscountDVD.com.... sweet shit... MSRP is about 140....
um... other than that... nothing much going on
so ready to head home for Thanksgiving
good food - family - friends - and rest.... mmm a change of scenery would do me good.

so this weekend was kinda fun
hung out with my mom
she came down friday night
- didn't really do much friday. . . just picked her up from the airport..
and then just cleaned up a little and went ta bed
saturday morning - made some breakfast - my mom had some toast and and a fried egg (egg white only) - i had an omlette.
then we went to Gladstones - for lunch - walked around the beach for a bit.... walked around 3rd street promenade... and then did some grocery shopping
came back - my mom - made some steamed egg - i made mabo tofu - and we watched Finding Nemo on DVD.
after dinner - drove my mom around - hollywood - west hollywood - rodeo drive - and beverly hills....
came back around 12 and crashed

sunday - today - packed up - and then went to dim sum - walked around for a bit - went to robinsons may - and nordstroms at Westside pavillion - then headed to the airport...
and that pretty much brings you up to date.....

alright so let's see
monday was kinda good - i got to do some interesting CAD-ing - for a part that was pretty difficult.
and then the sucky part was getting pulled into a Board Meeting. Cuz apparently the President heard that i was good at Excel. . . and figured that i would have no problem catching on - and producing something that he wanted. . .
so i sat down with the board and they kinda brought me up to speed and asked if i would be able to do it.
so that's what i spent most of the day today doing.
People were impressed - and i felt pretty good about myself. . the only bad part was that fact that i had to stay till around 445-5. . and then get stuck in traffic for 40 mins on dwindling gas.....quite the adventure.

So I guess I’ll type it out

(Dream sequence 1)

Let’s see – for some reason I had a plate of fry’s covered with ketchup. . .
A pretty large plate cuz I was eating for a while – and I was walking straight ahead . .
So I saw a well lit building – nice building – with some sort of Venetian look to it . .
And as I walked – I kept thinking so this is USC . . even though I’ve never been to USC – cept to the Shrine auditorium
And I just kept walking – and they were checking ID’s to get into the building – but since I had the plate of fries and my hands were covered with Ketchup – they just let me walk through . . I walked through the building – which seemed to be a library – and walked out the back. . . there was this massive garden – with metallic lawn tables and chairs . . . it was night - the only lighting was produced by the red glow of over used heat lamps. . .and a few flood lights attached to the building.
The garden itself was pretty massive – with giant maze like bushes all around – students were chatting – studying – eating – etc . . seemed like a pretty cool place to hang out – but in the middle of the garden . . there were these M.C.Escher-esque columns – that looked like they couldn’t exist in a 3d realm – but there they were. . . I sat atop one of these standing conundrums as I munched away at my fry’s on a plate covered with Ketchup.

I remember thinking – I should come here every day – to chill and hang out – who cares that I went to UCLA - . . .just sitting, relaxing – and watching the students.
After that though – a guy came around and pestered everyone to go home. I started to leave – and as I got up from the conundrum of a pedestal. . someone grabbed my arm – and said – before you leave – I’ve been meaning to ask you – if you wanted to hang out with me on Thursday. With a slightly confused look on my face – I said yes . . the person seemed very happy and ran off. All I remember is that the person was white female – she didn’t have a face . . just a girl – of some unknown origin. Though as if from a cartoon – a thought bubble popped out and it was Connie giving me a “yer weird” look.. . . . .
(Dream Sequence 2)
I don’t know what kind of bearing this part has on the first
But apparently I had to go through alotta crap to get to this ‘library’
So as I made my return trip – I realized that the path was laden with traps and etc. .
I had to negotiate swamps – outrun crazed dogs – and even go through a Indiana Jones type Rolling Rock maze. .
It started out as three people running for they’re lives.
One looked a lot like the professor from Back to the Future, and the other guy – well he just seemed to be a prick, along for the ride…
We got to a point in the path where it split into three. . .
A path that was quite small so we had to pick One each. I picked the left most – the Professor picked middle and the prick chose right.
The Prick died instantly guess it was poetic justice.
The professor was attacked by some unknown insect and was poisoned.
I ran like a bat outta hell and made it through the tunnel unscathed.
Though I had to run back (from the otherside) down the middle to grab the professor and drag him out.
Once out – he stated that I should leave and that enemies were approaching – and that if I was seen with him . . I would be shot. . .
I said that I understood – and just as I said that – a military party arrived behind me. . they were wearing old school british military uniforms…. (crikey this thing is weird)
I looked down – and I was wearing the same uniform…
The party saluted me . . .but one rifleman was still holding a rifle to my personage. . .
The commander yelled “how dare you point a gun at an officer when you are but a lowly guard”
The rifle man apologizes – but still keeps a wary eye on me.
Then I am escorted to this Laputa-esqe flying contraption . . .where I find a familiar face that knows I am not apart of the military.
I motion for her to keep quiet – and she just smiles at me. . .once again – no face – just an asian female that seems familiar…..
(dream sequence 3)
The flying machine is flying with all of us on it. . .
We fly back through the maze that i just negotiated. . and then arrive to a body of water with a giant hole in the middle.
It seems as if the seas flow endlessly into this giant hole – where in the center – there is a castle – of great height. . though not the traditional sense of a castle – but I giant glass tower – skyscraper – triangular in shape.
We enter the castle. . .
Where for some reason my true identity is discovered
I am thrown into a cell – with the asian female and now dying Professor…..
After a long stint in this cell – the bad guy finally appears – it’s one of the actors from West Wing (the one that was the bad guy in Billy Madison with adam sandler). .. . He’s apparently holding a great weapon of mass destruction – which I was apparently trying to destroy – with the help of the professor and asian female. . . .
He goes through his long spiel of how he’s gonna use his weapon to hold the entire world hostage. . .
(standard bad guy explanation – with a lotta maniacal laughing and such)
then he gets ready to leave and instructs his body guards to kill us –
I lunge at the guard – as he fires –



And. . . . .

That’s when my alarm goes off. . . .



Dammit – even I don’t know how it ends.

alright - so today was a pretty good / disastrous day -
let's see - well i had to set up the same pollutant report that i did last week - but this time from 1999-present . . .luckily i did all the stuff from 2002-2003 - so that was half the battle - and luckily i set up the spreadsheet that i could easily enter data - and it just comes out the way the boss wanted
had to finish before the end of the day - put it in a binder - and give it to him a nice and setup . . . thankfully for him - i'm smart employee. CHRIST

but that was the good part - Boss seemed impressed - and he even gave me a few compliments

bad part was my allergies - christ i was sneezing ALL DAY - didn't matter that the airconditioner was on - or anything - man - it was such a horrible exp - came home - took an allergy pill - and went to sleep cuz my body was so exhausted. . . .

so that's about it up to now - looking forward to the weekend. . work isn't so bad - cuz the co-workers are fun people - i'm starting to have a lot of work to do - though boss is kinda stupid in the fact that he never warns me ahead of time - about stuff that needs to be done right away - i may be fast - and i may be smart - but i ain't no miracle worker - that can finish logging 2 years worth of DAILY data in 1 and 1/2 hours . . when he ORIGINALLY wanted it last week . . . .

but let's see - finished the last two gundams for my GUNDAM SEED set . . . the 1/100 Freedom and 1/100 buster gundams . . . so pretty much - i have all of them now - unless they decide to make the meteor weapon system - and the crazy gundam that - Commander Cruz uses in the end . . but i don't think i'd get that one - kinda looks stupid

so let's see FRIDAY - painted my Freedom gundam - watched some TV . . played some video games - pretty lazy and chill night

Saturday - spent pretty much the entire day with Connie - went to lunch - RAMEN , and then went back to my apartment - where she played WC3 - and i built my gundam - then she ran a few errands with me - cooked dinner while she played some more WC3 - Mabo Tofu . . was pretty good i think . . . then we watched Full Metal Panic: Fumoffu . . i think i just created a new fan.
Sunday - did some chores - cleaned ma room - did ma laundry - vaccumed a little - picked up Connie again - and watched the First two dvd's of Rurouni Kenshin . . . i think i also created another fan there . . .
then went to dinner with Carol . . heh - surprised me too - but it was cool to catch up with her and all . . . .
and that's about it . . . probably gonna get ready for bed soon . . . maybe watch a little bit more anime - but yeah . .
oh forgot CONGRATS MIMI. . . on finishing yer test - now you can sit back and relax for a while. . . heh

i finally realized something today
it's been a while since i've taken allergy medicine, cause well - it takes about 3 years to get sensitized to the local allergens - so this being my fifth year in LA - i'm happy that it lasted as long as it did
but since i haven't taken allergy medicine since HS - i finally came to a realization. . . i've been somewhat drunk my entire life. . . .
now you may be wondering - what the hell is this wacko talking about - well pretty much for as long as i can remember i've been taking allergy medicine - Dimetapp extendtabs to be exact . . pretty much since - elementary school i've been taking those things . . .but since i came to LA - i stopped cuz - i didn't really need it that much. . . but i started taking them again - cuz well - my allergies are really bothering me now - and since it's been a while - all the side affects came back - like slight drowsiness, but through the past few days - i've noticed - it's essentially the same as being slightly buzzed - man o man . . .
that's about it - you may think i'm a lunatic - but that's the only way i can explain - so let's all take allergy medicine - and the world'll be a little happier place . . . hahahahaha

things aren't going so hot for me
works a bummer - and a few other things are quite on the rocks right now
i just wish - that there was some good explanation for why i've been so down lately
is it cuz steph is busy? - cuz i'm bored outta my mind at work? - or just cuz - i'm lonely? suffice it to say - i'm pretty down right now


if yer wondering why i'm writing this on my Pitas - well i've been accused of saying nothing on this thing - so here's the grime - and nitty gritty that goes on in my head - when i sit in front of my computer - with only a small lamp to illuminate my desk.

now i know i bag on work a lot - and well - they are paying me - and when i do have work - i can't complain - cuz some of the stuff is interesting - and i do feel useful. But for education wise - this job blows. There's nothing cutting edge about sheet metal - or Metalic shelving for that matter. How many different designs can you make outta four posts - and four beams - with a piece of plywood in the middle. . . ooh add some rollers . . . ooh add some dividers . . .ooh add a sink . . crap man - i can't beleive we actually sell SO much of this shit.
so i guess what i'm trying to say is - i don't really feel challenged - and i guess i'm feeling down - cuz it's sad that - that's the only job i could find.

secondly, i know i don't really talk about steph much on here -cause - well i never really wanted to. . it's one of those things that you keep to just the couple . . . it still feels weird puting this up - so be happy - while i still have the courage.
let's just say things haven't been all that great - lotsa misunderstandings - lotsa late night conversations that end up with fists clenched and bad dreams. . .(no worries - i don't have a head board to punch anymore).
(guess Deep did me a favor).
just all in all - not a good session for either of us. I know i've said a lotta bad things to her - and she's probably said it to me as well. . . but i guess the nerves are pretty frayed right now - and it seems that - even when i try - nothing good comes out of it. .. i try to be cheery - i try to be good - but somehow - something goes wrong and i flip out. not cause i'm mad at her - but just cause i'm sick of us being in that situation. it blows - and i'm pissed off about it.
it certainly doesn't help things when i'm barely ever home (SJ) - and see her like every other full moon or something stupid like that

so i can't really say things for steph - and put it on here - so i'll just talk about what i've been thinking
i'll try not to shed a bad light on her - cuz honestly - it's not her fault
steph usually calls me pretty late - up until recently - i usually just sleep and then wake up when she calls - at first it was a decent idea - cuz i could wake up - and become cognizant. . . but lately - i guess it's been catching up with me . . and i get really tired - really fast - so for about a week - our conversations last like 15 -30 mins - and then i pretty much am done for.

it's probably not easy for her - seeing that she works -and she goes to school till around 10 - then has to come home call me - and get a shitty 15 min conversation for her troubles - i understand that - and i do feel really bad for it

so i guess that's part of the reason - i'm not very good at talking / thinking when i'm tired - and i've already been accused of thinking too simply - and too superficially
and i guess that's true - i do think in those terms - i don't delve that deep - cuz well - most of it - i don't have time to - and other times - i have something better to do

i know that's not a good thing - and i know that's probably not very healthy - or fair to steph - or the relationship - but i'm trying to change that - but i guess i have't done enough.

christ i'm probably rambling - and whoever's reading this probably thinks i'm a lunatic -

so i guess what i'm trying to say is that - i really would like things to work out - i seem to always have a positive outlook on the relationship - even when it's unwaranted and hard to see . . which drives steph crazy - cuz she can't understand it - and i can't exactly explain it.
so i guess - i'll try to explain it now.

i always have a good out look - no matter how bad things look - no matter how mad i am - because . . . . . . . . . . because . . . . . well i know how i feel about her . . (explanation required) . . . . cuz i'm pretty adamant about my feelings - . . . (doesn't explain anything) . .
um . . . i really do like steph a lot . . . she's not just a friend that i talk to every day - or a girlfriend that keeps me company - she's become a hell of a lot more than that . . i feel comforable around her . . i feel good when i'm around her . . though i proably don't tell her as much as i should . . in fact i don't - i know i don't. . .
which is probably why she always says that she doesn't know me at all
and the whole arguement of what constitutes being around someone - cuz if it's a phsyical presence - i'm a complete failure
all i can do is the phone - im - email - stupid shit like taht
and it's straing on her - and it's straining on me - but somehow - i always say - it'll be fine - it'll be alright - it's just a set back - give it a few more months - maybe a year - it'll get better. . .well dammit - i've been saying that for Five years - and shit - she probably thinks i sound like a broken record. . . even so - i STILL beleive it'll work out in the end . . and we'll have a good laugh at it later - - - - -- - but honestly - one man's beleive isn't enough to keep this relationship going. . . i have to convincer her - i have to make it worth while for her . . .and well - i do't know how.

alright - so i just finished another gundam - this time it was teh 1/100 Justice Gundam . . . Looks pretty damn good if i do say so myself . . . :-D.
so if you haven't noticed - this is my new past time - for the weekends. Making Gundams . . . man o man - i need to get out more. Heh - but for now - this stuff is pretty damn fun - especially when they come out this good.

work is a drag - cause - well - i don't like what i'm doing
and really - it doesn't feel like they even need a Mechanical Engineer
but i guess if they can get one for the amount they're paying me - more power to them

um - seems like everything just kinda drones on day after day
go to work - come home - take a nap - eat dinner - chill for about 2-3 hours - then go to sleep - and repeat
crikey - i need to either start my own business, go back to school - or just become filthy rich - for no apparent reason

Well it's been a while since i've added anything to this page . .
so here goes

Friday
first of all Friday was pretty good - Brian - left for May's around 5ish
i stayed home - and just kinda chilled - did a lot of the painting for my 1/60 Freedom Gundam - actually pretty much did all the painting - probably finished around 7 and just let the paint dry until saturday. While the paint was drying - went out and played some basketball with the locals . . heh - was fun - cept for the fight that almost broke out after the second game - but all was good - and the game ended right there.
other than that - played some WC TFT - not too much - and just listened to music and played with Stinkers

Saturday
built the majority of my gundam - mainly the body - arms - legs - torso - and head. Had to go out and buy a few more gundam markers - cuz i didn't have enough . . .
spent about 8 hours on that pretty much all day - played some TFT inbetween to let my poor fingers rest - Swiss Army Knife blades are REALLY sharp . . .

after that - Steph called - she was in town to help Connie move into De Neve Plaza . . . and then i went out to dinner with them. Steph, Connie, and Mr. and Mrs. Chan. I picked them up from the Holiday in? (the round one off sunset exit of 405). and took them to New India Grill. Was a pretty darn good dinner.
after dinner - dropped steph's parents off
then took Steph and Connie to Didi Reese and Relaxtation
chilled for a little bit - then took them back to the Hotel as well
after that - sat at home for a while - cleaned up my gundam stuff - played a little TFT then fell asleep around 1. woke up around 3 cuz Stinkers felt like sleeping on me. Was too tired to care - and fell back to sleep. woke up round 10.

Sunday (Today)
woke up - shower - standard morning stuff . . .
then worked on my gundam some more - the weapons - wings - canons - etc . . .
did some final touchup painting
ate lunch
left overs from New Idia Grill
while paint was drying - did two loads of laundry and ran some errands
and that's where we are now - so that's about it for now -
all i have to say is 1/60 Freedom Gundam is BADASS
probably gonna finish it today - and
that's bout it - - - - -

other than that - watched a little tv . . watched some anime
had a steak dinner - ala me and brian
then drove aroudn for a bit - gased up the car
played a few more games of Warcraft TFT - and now just listening to some webcasts and chilling

seeing that i was actually up at 730 this morning
even though i went to bed around 4

well the explanation to that is that i needed to take my car in to Volvo to get my passenger side fog light replaced
i had an appt. at 800 this morning.
after all the paperwork got taken care of i took a 2 mile walk home
felt pretty good - to walk all the way home
reminds me of my early highschool days when i didn't have a car - i remember i had to walk home from Lynbrook a few times
meaning probably just that - three times
so here i am fully awake now because of the nice morning walk
so what should i do?

the day went by so fast - it was amazing
it's kinda cool that i got to design a few things
and cad-ed out a buch of things (not so fun)
but yeah - in general a pretty good day at work - since i got my own office - rarely anyone bothers me.

not to mention i can play my own music and stuff like that

funny thing is that i need to decorate the place
there's a lot of barren walls

i actually designed something - it's a clip to hold a caster to a post - really stupid - probably won't work to well - but it works a hell of a lot better than the one that the Sales guy designed - and we can use current tooling to make it
but we'll see if it makes it through the R&D dept.
um . . . other than that - had ribs for dinner - thanks to bri
was pretty damn good - soo full
though i feel really drowsy - probably from the food and a combination of beer and allergy medicine

oh yeah - Enterprise is getting better - watched the season opener tonight
the story is starting to get more interconnected, a lot like how DS9 got
and probably gonna watch a little more anime before heading off the the softness of my pillow

Alright so my mouse finally got charged up - but i noticed to that the eye of the mouse is off center and towards the left side of the mouse. For all those that have an optical mouse - normally the eye is in the center . . just like where the ball would be for a conventional mouse. Alright - so i know the software - and the tracking doesn't really mater where the eye is - as long as it tracks the correct dimensions - but i swear - i can feel that the center of the mouse is off center . . . i keep clicking slightly to the left . . . .it's probably just a stupid notion that i have in my head - but that's the way it feels - can especially feel it when playing warcraft - i have yet to test it on Unreal 2k3 - but when i do i'll definately know for sure. .

Woohoo - so i did a lot today
lots of errands that is

um let's see - went to best buy - to return a UHF-VHF antenna - cuz we don't need it anymore +$17 dollars
also sent in my Pioneer Reciever for Maintenance - as some of you found out that hard way - the volume knob doesn't work - (i JUST found the 4 yr extened waranty paper as i was cleaning stuff out - so what better time to do it than now.
- FREE also bought the Logitech MX Duo Cordless Keyboard and mouse - this things is pretty BAD ASS (seeing that there isn't anymore Gundam Seed - gotta use it where i can). So i got a cool new mouse and quiet keyboard.

um other than that - just bought some random supplies for the apt and for myself -

last night was pretty boring- waited for Steph to call - so that i could talk to her before she left on vacation to Oregon. Played a few games of Warcfaft TFT with George - i frickin suck now - watched some Anime - and went to bed.
Stinkers (brian's cat) was lonely - so i let her play in my room for a bit before i went to bed. . . heh - she's a good cat - -
after about half an hour playing with her - i led her out of my room - and went to bed - about two hours later - i hear this faint meowwwing - and some light scratching on my door. I go over there and see Stinkers sitting there - waiting to get in - so i open the door - and prop it open with my sandle - so that she can walk in and out - then proceed to go back to sleep. . . i wake up an hour later - and stinkers is sleeping on my lap . . she get's startled a bit and runs out the door (scardy cat).

i go back to sleep and a few hours later wake up again - and she's sleeping on my couch across from my bed

i wake around 10 to talk to steph before she REALLY leaves - and Stinker's comes running back to my bed and plops right back down on my bed next to me . . heh -

so at least i got the Stinkers to keep me company on this three day weekend - where it appears that EVERYONE is gone. . .
oh and i finally bumped into Sunks (Ankur Baht) who lives below us - heh - small world - we didn't even know he lived here - until mandeep told us a few weeks back . . .

Alright so today was a bust
i was so tired from this weekend that i took a half day
2 reasons , 1 i was tired as fuck, 2 i had absolutely nothing to do - i sat there and stared at my monitor for four hours - because i was too tired to read - i just sat there and stared - no one asked anything - don't think anyone noticed - bleh

came back around 1230 and slept till about 4 - man that was refreshing - though i am still quite tired - heh that's what i get for partying all weekend.

did some moving - moved some of the smaller stuff - that i don't need this week. probably gonna move more stuff as the week progresses.
the big move is this weekend.

but the funny thing was - that wasn't enough - i ended up going back up north with them for some more late partying

why? you ask - i don't know - spur of the moment thing - just decided to grab some clean close - and went for it

parents were happy to see me - partied a lot with the cousins (karen and brian) so it was pretty damn fun. . . .

after that we headed to Monterey park for shaved ice - and late night food - Sate Ramen soup bowl and hot lemon tea - mmmmmm

today around 11 - we're gonna head to redondo for Crab - and probably dim sum in Monterey Park again - crikey - after this weekend - i probably wont' have to eat for the next week . . . man i love it when family visits . . especially when i can run around eating at different restaurants with the fam. . . .

other than that - signed the lease for the apt - paid - and well just sitting tite - till the carpet is changed - and then it's moving time again. . . probably end up moving everything come the 15th - so by mid month - i'll be living in a new apt. . . how exciting.

Yo Yo . . well it's pretty much set. New apt here we come
Woodbine Apts. . Two bedroom two bathroom 850 squarefeet . . smaller than what we're used to, but the apt is very bright - balcony - great living room . . .etc . .etc etc . .and decently cheap. . we can start moving in come this weekend. Though i don't think we'll start moving the big stuff till around the 15th.

so that's about it - new apt - blah . . . .fun fun

Once again - was in SJ for the weekend. . .
spent time with the family on Saturday - went to Bonfonte Gardens. . . it was actually better than i thought it would be - spent the whole day with the parents and my cousin Karen.

after the amusement park - we went to dinner at the Shanghai place right under ABC - food sucked ass - but hey - the company was cool - My Cousin Karen , and my cousin Alex (she specifically requested that i sit next to her) . . and Cousin Brian . . .Uncle Paul and Auntie (don't know her english name - cuz she never uses it), Uncle Johnson and Auntie Chris, and ma parents.
for all those wondering - these are all blood relatives - not that asian - custom thing where you call each other Uncle and Auntie out of politeness.
after dinner - went home - hung out with the parents for a bit.

sunday morning had breakfast with steph at hobies . . damn that stuff is GOOODDD. . . if only i didn't leave the coffee cake in her car - awh nutts - just means i have to go there again. . after that we spent a couple of hours at the Mall - and then just hung out - before i had to go home and head to the airport. . . .was some good times man
can't wait till she come down here and sees my new APT

on a side note- my project with the digitizer and solidworks - got bumped till next quarter . . no room in the budget this year . . so technically i can't start on what i was brought in to do till then . .
so i guess it's bitch work till then.. . .

as for the gundam competition - i finally got my gundam back - tied for second place - they gave me the ribbon - my gundam - and a new gundam worthabout 34 bucks. . . eh not to shabby i spose. hehe

hey hey so back in LA after a great weekend at the lake
the time spent there was a lot better than i would have ever expected.

first night was kinda harsh - spent a lot of time on the road before getting to SJ. LA traffic leaves a mark on you. So left work - picked up Josh in Valencia, then trucked our way to SJ.

Got to the lake around 3am - due to unforseen circumstances in SJ - didnt' leave SJ till about midnight.
then we had to traverse the crazy windy road to the house for about an hour and half - but damn IT WAS SOOO WORTH IT. A private road leads to the driveway of teh house which sits on a cliff overlooking both lakes. One story - balcony all the way around - windows on both sides. . . backyard . . . plants everywhere - no street lights - just gorgeous all around. Driving up the steep gravel driveway to the house - we say two baby deer
crashed for the the night - and ended up waking up early - 9 o'clock even though hit the hay around 4. . .
woke up had bacon (Steph), eggs (ME), fresh pancakes (Connie and Friends) and blueberry muffins (Grace and Carl) for breakfast. . . fresh meaning - we made them . . . not from scratch but we made them.
after breakfast everyone did their morning thing, and cleaned up.
sat around for a bit and chilled - waited for Dave to arrive so that we could go to the Lake.
Dave arrived, - we had a late lunch - and then took a 20 min drive through more windy roads and vineyards to get to a swimming hole.
Swam there for about an hour and half, me piggy backing, and throwing steph out of the water, Dave harrassing grace with freshwater kelp and mud, Carl and Josh kinda getting splashed just cause they weren't attacking anyone.

after the lake - headed back to the house - where allen and mimi were waiting
we all cleaned up and the bbq began.

first on the menu was marinated chicken SOOO GOOD
next was burgers - double-doubles and what not. watermelon, beer, onions, beer, beer, and more beer. Well at least for me anyways :-D

after all said and done - everyone was full, happy, some were red, others were tipsy. Sat outside among the stars for a while, trying to get a fix on mars with this telescope that thought it was a microscope. (made things smaller than bigger)

After that my memory is kinda fuzzy for about 2 hours due to the fact i recieved a blessing from the gods which endowed me with a blinding headache.
rested for a bit then was back in the fray.
Sat around for a little longer - Connie & Friends + josh were yucking it up. . . The Lynbrook people doing the same. . . until we all decided to play mafia
i played GOD(narrator) at first - but to the dislike of all GOD wasn't very good at his job and therefore - was sentenced to live the life of a townsperson/mafia/inspector.
Dave took over and the games began. First two rounds - i was mafia - Mafia Won both those rounds - even though i got lynched in both those rounds. Every round after that i got lynched for no reason at all, other than the fact that i'm a quiet townsperson that likes to keep to himself.
Laura (connie's friend and fellow LHS'r) was killed almost everytime in the early rounds.. . . . Connie pulled a good Mafia stunt and deceived everyone . . . and so the night ended after a few games of mafia.

the next morning, woke up around 10 - and started to make breakfast, Crepes(steph), Bacon(Grace), Hashbrowns(Carl), Scrambled Eggs(Nick), Freshly Cut fruit, strawberries/watermelon (Connie), Reheated Chicken (microwave), reheated mashpotatos(microwave). . . damn good breakfast if you ask me....

after breakfast/lunch/brunch - sat around for a little bit, watched some tv, and then me and josh headed back for LA.

the drive outta the mountains was interesting - Seriously OLD FAITHFUL was really there - meaning JOSH owe's steph and Apology, um . . . vineyards, windy roads with 15mph turns - and a ton of random stuff on the side of the road - that truly does make it seem like yer in the boonies.

got outta the mountains, then to 12, then 101, and 580, lastly 5 to 405 dropped off Josh in Valencia and then headed to my apt. All said and done after 1100 miles of travelling - 16+ hours on the road . . made for a damn good trip.

Good friends, Good Food, and Definately, and i mean DEFINATELY, GOOD TIMES. . . .

Caught steph right before she left for the beach. . . um - bought some radiohead tickets for josh at 10 - and um - . . . oh yeha spent the afternoon driving around - looking at prospective apts.

well this weekend was a buggy weekend as well
found a giant spider - and a huge mosquito - though i got bit two times before i killed the bastard. . .
so now i have these too welts on my right leg - but thanks to carl - i've been putting soap on it before i sleep so i guess when i scratch in my sleep - it won't get bigger . . . so far it's working - it's not tooo itchy - but still it looks like a giant rash. . .

today is the day for errands. . laundry - return a video - clean the apt - and maybe go out for a bit and hang out in Century city after all my laundry is done - woke up around 10 - so it seems like i've done a ton of stuff already. . . heh -

i don't i've had the chance to hang out with these guys for more than just an afternoon or evening. . . kinda makes me sad for all the stuff that i missed for not going to Berkeley - heh - i bet we would have had a bunch of pretty sick experiences.

but yeah - don't get me wrong - i don't regret anything - just wish i could have my cake and eat it too, you know what i mean?
The people in LA - that have gone home - the people i grew up with - and the people that i currently still see in LA - i'm glad - all this stuff happened

had a good 4th - did an all out bbq - thanks to BRI it was quite the success. Burgers/hotdogs/chik patties/mushrooms/pepperjack - etc etc.
watched fire works with Carl, Allen, Sri, Brian on the top of the roof - heh - good stuff. . . dave went to dinner with his GF. . .
whom i finally got to meet - heh - she's cool - i approve - fitting i would say

game of the weekend - CHESS - yeup CHESS for crying out loud we sat here and played CHESS
today - played ball - went to Fratelli's pizza for dinner - and TRIED to go to Didi Reese - but the line went all the way out to the bruin - there were a ton of peoplke in westwood - took us a while to find parking. . .
then i escorted them onto 405n and drove on it for a while with em - then exited - waved good bye - and came home.

all in all a great weekend - good tunes - good food - good friends . . what more could you ask for.

so where to begin. . . um - well work is going alright - i'm keeping myself busy - trying to see if we can buy some equiptment to actually do the job that i'm doing right now - cause i figure it out that - currently - if i keep CAD-ing each tool the way we cad them - it's gonna take about 5 years - to finish everything - and that's if i work on it full time. . . so we need another approach.

deeps bday party was yesterday - quite an eye opener . . . - was pretty cool got to hang out with deep and all - and well he liked his present . . .now that we've given it to him - i can say what it is - we got him an Eclipse mp3/cd/xm deck. . . Eclipse's are pretty bad ass - i want one myself. . .but i think i'm gonna hold out till i can afford a dvd screen for my car - . . . but we'll see what happens.

Came back - took a nap - went to my Cousin's Graduation. Saw Marcus - and Susan - heh - cool stuff man - he look the same - acts pretty much the same as well Light Pink Dress Shirt and Khaki's - heh some people just don't change . . . he shocked me a little - but you'll have to ask me about that - don't wanna write it on the Pitas. After grad went to dinner with Stacey - Cheryl - Autie Viki - and Uncle Patrick - went to Lawry's - really expensive prime rib place - was damn good . . . have left overs hehe . . such a wimp - everyone finished besides me.

Sunday
Father's day - nothign really - went out to Lunch with Mimi. Doing laundry, and will probably meet up with Grace around 4ish - heh - maybe show here around LA a bit - though i think she's been to a lot more of la in two days than i have in a couple years....

Well - got another donut -another early night - heh

hopefully i get used to this schedule soon - don't like going to bed so early - and not being able to enjoy life . . . . man i really asked for it - heh - well at least i'm being useful.

well a little info about work i spose, general impressions, GOOD. . .
they seem to really like me there - especially since i'm a new grad and all. But one thing is weird - i'm the only Asian . .

my manager seems to have really high hopes for me - giving me a dab into every project so far - as can be noted in teh fact that i have four projects to work on - . . but i'm sure he'll be able to see what i'm really good at - and just focus me on that - otherwise it hink it's gonna be a little overwhelming.

but all in all a good day - heh i know Bri, that it didn't sound too good - but in retrospect, it was a good day ;-D. . . and thanks for the call man - heh - appreciate it.

HEY HEY, well had work today from 8-5 . . .
the drive there was alright - took about 25 mins - so leaving so early did nothing for me - but coming back took about 40 mins - so that kinda sucked - but ah well - is all good

so what did i do there- got a desk - got office supplies - got 4 projects. . . yeup you heard it right - i already have four projects. . . I am officially a Manufacturing Engineer - well at least that's what my title is.

The actual work day was alright - i need that manufacturing book that i sold back first quarter - seeing that it seems i'm actually using this stuff that i learned in class . . . heh - needless to say - this job is probably gonna hurt - . . . .but so far - at least it's interesting

and he has to stay up a little longer to do some actual work for Cantaloupe systems. . . man CRAZY... .

Woke up this morning and the company called again - though the person i deal with is out to lunch, so i'll just have to wait a few more hours - but in the email they sent me, it said she had some questions for me to answer - so who knows . . . .

um worked on my gundam - painting it to look like it was powered down
- if you happen to watch Gundam Seed, it's when they're weapon system 'phase shift' runs out of power - so that the gundam looks greyed out - like the color parts of the chest / torso / head - yeah yeah i know i'm a nerd . . .

but thats' about it - worked on my gundam - watched some hockey - made dinner. . . .

was pretty good stuff - roommate bonding i spose
though brian made this really bad smelling parmesian cheese garlic bread. . . . unfortunately the parmesian cheese expired last year - hmmmm . . . he's still here - and he's not puking - so i guess it's alright

bought a new pillow, old one was getting flat, and seeing that there's a liquidation - came out to be pretty cheap
Also bought some paints fer ma gundam - hehe - gonna take my time on this one. Even bought some primer.

So Let's see, went to the Borders and read some car mags. . . mainly on the Subaru Impreza WRX STI. heh - i'm gonna get one sooner or later - probably later than sooner

After that sat at home for a bit and watched Brian play Midnight Club 2, then Lip, Bri, and I went to the range and hit a bucket of golf balls.

Next went to Century City mall and got myself another gundam - this time one of those SD gundams

after that made some pizza's for dinner, watched airplane for a bit - and been watching Brian play Midnight Club since then.

Steph, Grace and Mimi came down for a visit . . . hung out friday night - when they arrived - hung around LA - for half the day on saturday - went to Torrence to meet up with some of mimi's friends - and did the karoke thing . . . got back around 3am - went to sleep - had lunch with em today - and then they left - all in all - a pretty good weekend . . .

Lets see - well i sent out about ten resumes today - my aunt and uncle took a look at it and suggested a few changes which i promptly did - My aunt's a manager at oracle - and my uncle use to be a manager at GE. . . . heh . . . my cousins says that they're searching for the job section like i'm they're own son . . it's pretty cool - though i wish i didn't have to rely on other's so much . . . you would think i could get a job on my own power . . . but i guess at this point - anything is fine.

All of you are probably gonna think i'm a nutt - but i just pre-ordered the Full Metal Panic! Box Set - heh - yeah yeah i know i have it on Fansub - but hey - i really liked the series - so - i figured that i would buy it.

i was minding my own business playing warcraft in the loft - when out of the corner of my eye i see this black thing moving - i turn to see what it is - i figure it's just my imagination or something - and there's this big BLACK RAT walking towards me - i turn - and yell - HOLY SHIT - and the thing turns tail and runs back up the stairs and out the roof door . . .

now you may wonder - why the roof door was open in the first place - well - Lipo made fried chicken for dinner - and in an attempt to air out the apt - all the windows - AND the roof door was opened - the rat - probably smelling the food - felt that it should go down the stairs and do some investigating whereby it heard a loud HOLY SHIT and felt that it's little life was in danger - and ran back up the stairs . . . .

to tell you the truth - i was probably just as scared as it was - BLEH - RATS -

Morning everyone,
woke up early today - cuz i couldn't fall back to sleep -
So this is how stupid i was - i thought yesterday was monday - i went through almost the entire day believing that. until lipo pointed out that it was sunday.
Brian came back kinda late - and we found out that his truck had been broken into . . . SO JACKED man - they stole his subs and his deck - dude - hella sucks. . . . hopefully insurance will do something about it.
My friend Tony submitte my resume to his company today - maybe i'll be lucky like Kevin and get an interview and a job - heh - crossing the fingers - but i said before - my timing might be a little off - sigh - of all the luck. . . . .

played a few games of warcraft - i am now level 11 and have about 80 more games till i get my new 250 win icon - and then i shall retire - if the rumors are true about bnet starting to charge - then this retirement will come sooner than expected.

finished the Strike Gundam - i'll post pictures of it once i get the chance - not that anyone cares - but - i think this is the best one i've made so far - painted in all the lines - and random spots - on each piece

applied for a few more jobs today - probably round 5 - all looking for entry - level people- hopefully i get an email or a call back - man

i guess losing the privelege to use bruinview kinda depressed me - kinda killed the access to employers - now all i have left are online submissions - hotjobs.com - and monster.com

not to mention my parents want me to look into Sequoia Institute - they figure if i'm sitting around - i might as well learn something - and i'm totally down - i like working with my hands and all - but i guess it's kinda sad - when you graduate with a BS in Mechanical Engineering - and you end up going to trade school - cause no one is hiring . . . bleh - sad.

Got rejected from UCLA Grad school - aparently i applied for one of the harder programs to get into - heh - stupid me - so i guess i'll just reapply for controls - supposedly easier to get into . . . .
Also got rejected from Irvine - well that was a shot in the dark in the first place- Bio-engineering - with little or no bio - and mechanical is really hard to get into - so i guess you could say i was asking for it. . .

heh played ball today - was pretty good - though the people we played weren't that good at all - first game was kinda bad - cuz there was a guy that was playing way too physical - did a lotta stupid things.

Went Karoke-ing with the HS people last night - was quite the interesting experience - apparently they recorded us - though the recording is really soft and is drowning out by the really really loud music - and apparently they only recorded one of the mic's so heh - sadly - my voice was not recorded - awh shucks. . . though i couldn't salvage the songs - i was able to salvage the random banter between songs - where Allen incriminates himself many times- heh -

needless to say - the MP3's of this banter will appear on this site - the moment i get back to LA - so beware ALLEN - heh. . . .

So let's see - it's Friday again - probably hang out with the HS people again - other than that - it's been a pretty standard week - looking forward to going back to LA - but also not - it's a pretty weird situation

Dark Cloud 2 is getting fun - seeing that the levels are looking more and more interesting - so far spent 36 hours and am only on chapter 3 of 8 - damn this game is longer than Xenosaga - by a lot - though

Realized last night that even though i've lived in San Jose a long time - there's a lot of places i've never been too - heh - kinda stupid isn't - that some of the neatest things that you find - are in yer own backyard

Nothin new on the anime front - got 3x3 Eyes - DNA^2 - Berserk - that's bout it - haven't downloaded any new stuff - haven't really watched anything either.

So the weather up here is still really strange - it's Sunny with rain - hmmm - april showers eh?

if the weather keeps up like this probably not gonna be able to play ball this weekend. heh - can save my feet - for another week :-) - thought i wouldn't complain if we could play :-p

So let's see - been playing Dark Cloud 2 - seems to be a pretty interesting game. . .leveling up is a little bit of a pain - but it's worth it - cause the weapons that you create are pretty neat looking - it really is like playing a saturday morning cartoon . . .

Oh forgot to mention that Sri got hooked on Dynasty Warriors 4 - that games pretty neat - a lotta new features - but from what i've seen - the game play is pretty much the same - it's just that you don't have to go hunting for weapons anymore - and the weather effects are better.

Warehouse going outta business sale - please drop to 50-60% off already - heh - so i can buy stuff - man at 40% things are STILL DAMN expensive.

Comparison of Current Volvo S40SE to BMW 3 series - i think my volvo looks better - so no loss there but S40se compared to 2003-4 Subaru Impreza WRX STI - well yeah - IT"S DAMN COOL 270 hp - man o man o man if only i could afford it.

Went to the driving range with Brian - hitting it pretty consistently now - off the tee - so hit another 60 balls - was fun

Alright so made a second attempt at hot wings - was interesting to say the least - though brian and lipo agreed that it tasted better when i did it from scratch - man - gonna get it sooner or later

played a few hours of Xenosaga - once again spent some time to seriously lvl up - my characters are starting to get cooler. . .

Me and lip got the WC3 Expansion beta to work - played it fer a while last night - pretty damn cool - though i think there gonna have to do a lot of balancing - seems that units are too powerful - and somethings are too cheap. but otherwise hope that the exp comes out soon

Currently Downloading Hikaru no GO - yeup that's right all 65 ep's so far i have 1-15 40-57 and 65 - it's slow - but it's going - wondering when i will finish dling

So letz see, woke up early today for some reason. Didn't exactly sleep well last night - must be too much video game playing - my dreams were riddled with giant monsters and such - yeah yeah i know i'm a loser - whatever. . . .

so what's on the agenda today - don't really know - so far first thing is lunch like usual - got some leftovers from last night - Lip woke up pretty early today - and i think he just went back to sleep - though i could be wrong. . .

Was planning on balling a little today - but my arms are too tired from the driving range yesterday - so i don't think that ballin is gonna happen.

No word from any jobs yet - my mom game me the number of a Santa Clara Firm that was lookign for an ME - but nothing from them either

Ah! - Quite the interesting day - went to the driving range with Brian - heh - quite an amusing experience. After having not played for the past couple of years - i made a few giant whiff's with the 7 iron - but as the body kinda got used to the movement again i could grip it and rip it - only problem was - they weren't going exactly straight. heh - was fun though.

um other than the range - played xenosaga - my KOS-MOS has got this killer attack now X-buster - pretty badass- in the process of lvling everyone up right now. So it's the tedious part.

Alright so i feel like a broken man - two days ago - played a few pick up games - jammed my thumb - and kinda hurt my knee . . .last night - went to a bar - did a little partying - came back out this afternoon - and played a few more pick-up games.

I say - this with great pain - drinking the night before playing basketball is not a good idea - bleh - so tired - so bruised and battered - played a good first game - three blocks - five steals - one break away layup - but the second game - got crossed over like ten times - got a few more steals - but damn - that fool was fast - or i was just way too tired.

Alright so this year is a really good year for rpg's

First one i got this year was Suikoden 3 - bleh - was the most boring and painful game i've ever played - fell asleep while playing it - just had to sell it back

Second one .hack//infection - not a bad game - has great possibilities - was too short though - only took me 30 hours to beat - and it just didn't have that - i gotta play till 5 in the morning feel to it - guess you could say it's a good game just to play around with. It's the first of four games - so hopefully the rest get better

Third - haven't played it yet - but it's gotten really great reviews - and it's sitting on my desk right now - next to the strategy guide and artbook - that you get as a set - for preordereing at EB - guaranteed to be over a 60 hour long endeavor - so i'm looking forward to it, not to mention, it's also part of a 4 game series hehe - lotz o rpg gamin fer me

Fourth - Zone of the Enders: Second Runner - though not really an rpg - but the game is still pretty bad ass - The first was the leading game when ps2 first came out - but now - reviews state that it'll blow everythign away again. Comes out in March - so i got a month to beat Xenosaga - and seeing that i have nothing to do - i think it's entirely possible

Fifth - and seriously the most awaited one - Final Fantasy X-2 - doens't have a real name yet - still X.2 - but from what i've seen of the battle screens - world screens and character screens it's fricking amazing - it comes out 1 day before my birthday in japan - and proably won't make it to the states till Summer - but hey it's worth the wait - first time - that Squaresoft has made a continuation to a game - FRICKIN BADASS

Sixth - Dark Cloud 2 - seems like an interesting game - so i might just pick it up - though i think i'll read some reviews first - don't wanna make the same mistake as with Suikoden3 jeezees - seriously no game has ever been more boring - i would probably have more fun watching paint dry - or an anime dl - than Suikoden bleh bleh bleh

So the interview didn't go as well as expected. Lasted 10 mins - cuz the manager that was interviewing me - didn't lead someone with my skills - but he said that next thursday - he'll be talking to the other six managers - to see if they need someone like me - and to expect a call round then. . . . . .

well after that lovely short interview - grabbed some lunch and came home.

after lunch - went out and played some ball with george and lip - played 3 games of 3on3 - was pretty good - it was essentially 3 games of 1 on 1 disguised as a 3on3 game. was pretty cool though - actually had the confidence to drive to the hole - guess it's all those 1on1 games with lip. My team won the 1st game - lost the second - and came from a 6-0 defecit to win the last game 11-9 . . . heh was a good game.

Alright - so kinda had a rude awakening this morning - got a phone interview with Royce Medical - I post my resume to them through monster.com . . went through the entire interview thinking that they make medical devices, ie. pace makers etc - - - aparently - that's a different company - and Royce makes ankle braces and stuff like that - luckily i didn't go into specifics but still - could have been a disaster - heh
oh well - so that's two interviews so far - hopefully the next two go better

me and lip played some basketball - some more horse - and 1on1 - once again - lip creamed me in the first 7-1 then second game i came back to win it 7-5 . . . miraculous comeback - and then once again - couldnt' finish it off in the last game - lost to lip 7-6.

Heh - i know i've been complaining about finding work and about finding somethign to do everyday. I admit - Sitting on my ass playing video games all day is kinda bad . . . but i guess the thing i dont' want to give up is the people - the lifestyle, the friends, and all the good times. Friends from school, roomies, etc, etc . . . . i would miss it dearly if i couldn't hang with them as much.
LA is where i've been for the past four years - i hate to say it - but this place actually grew on me - dont' get me wrong - i wouldn't want to stay here forever - but for now - it's a good place to be fer me.

so there you go - i'm getting sappy this late at night - so i think i'll just stop here

MMm.... started this day out right

played a half an hour of getaway - the most annoying - yet addicting game imaginable

then played some one-on-one basketball with lipo. Lipo won 2 games to 1. . .
The first game was pretty standard - i won 7-6 - next game was a blow out - 2-7 . . . now the last game was kinda cool - lipo was up 3-1 then i come back to score five straight. . . . but alas - couldn't finish him off - three shots rimmed out - and then lipo just takes me to the hole and schools me like a 3rd grader. . ..

Don't know if it was because it was valentines day or something like that - hung out with 4 guys yesterday - started out with Mandeep, and Eric - then deep's younger brother came - then lipo came back from dinner. Five guys hanging out - watching the laker game.

So just one more week till Interview - hopeing to get a few more - that way i can at least feel like i'm doing something. Sitting in the apt all day - playing video games - is starting to make me feel useless.

A lot of people are probably saying that - a break would be nice - and yes a break is nice - but two months of nothing to do - is starting to get boring - and the feeling of uselessness is also setting in - well, other than that - Wish me luck - job hunting and all.

Well it's been a pretty eventful day - lipo's been waiting for a game to come out - called Red Alert: Generals. And there was a countdown on the site to how many mins - secs till the game hit's stores. So we went to best buy to go get the game. But IT WASN"T THERE - they said it'll probably come in tomorrow, thinking that it was just BEST buy's fault - we next made a trek to fry's which also stated that it'll probably come in tomorrow.

So then we finally went to EB and though we would just check there for kicks -- cause i also wanted to take a look at Xenosaga - and ask about the preorder stuff.

So Me and lipo walk in - and they said they dont' have it either - and this guy comes up to me and says - have you ever seen the game boy advanced before - i said yes - and he was like how bout this new one - the game boy advanced XP.. . . i was like yeah i saw it in a magazine - etc etc. . . then he did an interview - and made me fill out a form - and i guess i'll be on tv some time soon. wmahahahahahahah hollywood here i come - not - i looked like and sounded like a total moron.

Alright so i'm getting kinda sick of my mp3's seeing that i haven't downloaded any new ones - so now i turn to internet broadcasts for musci - and i have to say - it's pretty good - if you can find the high bandwidth ones - of course it doesn't sound as good as the mp3's that you would have on yer HD - but hey - beggars can't be choosers. - Funny thing is that these radio stations actually played a lot of the the stuff i already had.

Let's see - well i finished my gundam - painted and all - even bought one of those pens tso that it accents all the hidden lines - and seeing the most of the model is white - i figured that it was a pretty good investment. But yeah Major nerd right here.

Watched the All-Star Weekend Broadcasts and such - man Richardson is bad ass - alleyopp - backwards - through the legs dunk. That's some crazy shit - alright GOTTA GET THEM JUMP SOLES - and I WILL also be able to dunk - YEAH RIGHT

Alrighty - so here we go again - the second entry man i really don't know what to write on these things am i suppose to impart wisdom - or just rant about my day well it's thursday - i'm gonna give lockheed a call - so hopefully i actually talk to a person and see where i stand for interviews and such after that i'll probably end up reading a few chapters of java. I really dislike java - too much hierarchy management and stuff like that - i know it's supposed to be easier and more user friendly - but bleh - i don't really like it so after many denials to watch this anime called chobits - i finally gave in.
