The best news of the week came yesterday night while i was out with ma guyz.. Courtesy of Bai bai, Chrissypoo iz out for good.. Out of the running to be a budding Sg Idols.. Sadly though S'poreans came to their senses 4-5 weeks too late.. His elimination is long overdued..
School - Comparisons are favourable at times.. However often, they aren't.. Especially when you're made the subject of it.. For whatever good i've done, i do not want credits nor compliments for it.. Whatever i did, i do it because i am upmost sincere doing it.. I've been quiet and low all this while, nothing is gonna change..

Joyous morning turned sour
Mom misplaced her glasses yesterday while cleaning up da house.. She was certain she must hv accidentally threw it away with the piles garbage.. It happened b4.. Devastated, it was a low down for her yesterday.. Kept to herself da whole day.. This morning though, my sleep was interrupted by a squabble between my mom and dad.. Apparently, her glasses wasnt thrown away after all.. Ma biggy ol dad took hers by mistake.. The arguing point is, dad didnt tell her abt the accidental mishap.. She made it known to us that she made a new one yesterday night.. And u knw hw much glasses cost these days, hundreds.. They're still at it now.. On loggerheads..

Ooo fatty meat, i need u..
A crowd gathered at the foyer in school yesterday. It wasnt long b4 i joined the nosey curious group. Apparently some dude in sch slipped on slippery surface and fractured his leg. It was raining in the afternoon and he muz hv ran. Boo boo.. Ambulance crew were ard to attend to him and convery him to the hospital.
To sum up school this week, it's full of activities. We spent a day in the new ITE EAST College for a motivation programme. Sadly though, the programme itself iz not as good as the surroundings. A perfect 10/10 for the excellent facilities there. 3/10 for the programme.
Then there was a trip to NEW-Water Plant. One word, DULL. The facilitator was handling a group too large for his comfort. Breaking us into smaller grps would be practical. That way informations can get across easily.
Idols - Taufik blew it. You got the style, you got the moves but you got the song wrong. I was hoping Chrissypoo would fumble thus buying himself a one way ticket to elimination.

The one with the crumpled note
Attended a talk in my school auditorium earlier. Organized by 4PM, entitled Self Esteem. In my view, the introduction of the talk struck me the most. It left a deep impression in me, i like to use it as a 'spur' factor. Apologies, i cant recall the name of the speaker. He started off by holding out a $10 note in his right hand. Crumpled it into a ball, threw it on the ground and stamped on it. It created a stir among the audience.
"tebiat lar dini".."crazy man".. echoes all ard the auditorium. To the disbelief of 200+ pairs of eyes watching him, he placed the note in btween his armpit. Finally he offered that note to the audience. Yes he's giving it away. And he did gave it away. It proved a point. Money in whatever state or condition still holds da same value. Now can the same be said about our self values? Walaaa.. There u have it. Brilliant introduction. Hmm now can i come out with something like that for my presentation next week?

When You're Gone..
A lesson learnt today at work.. Take extra caution before u cross a road.. Check your left, right and left again.. Failure to do so, might result in u being run over by a go-kart.. Unfortunately, the incident this morning resulted in death.. The late, was a fine young male.. Died immediately on location after a severe impact to the head.. Possible skull and spine fractures.. The incident attracted genuine interest frm guests at the park as well as crews.. One regret, should hv snapped a pic of 'it' before we dumped 'it' in2 the bin centre.. Yes 'dumped'.. Oh i 4got to mention the victim is a medium sized male monitor lizard, 40-45cm long, 5-6 kg..
No offence to Aussies but understanding them can be quite complex.. Their slangs/lingos are alien to me.. I've had conversations with Americans and Brits b4.. But never hv i had a communication problem with em.. To the 3 Aussies whom approach me earlier, sorry mates!

Child's Play..
Walked in2 7-11 near ma place late last night.. Prounced upon 2 lil kiddos.. Err 4-5 years old.. A chubby boy and a cute lil girl.. I cant help but eavesdrop on their kiddo talk.. Apparently, this 2 lil darlings wanted to get themselves a cup of Big Gulp.. They shared money.. The sight of em counting their coins, CUTE! Picking up the coins with their lil tiny fingers, counting aloud one at a time.. They found emselves short of 20cents.. Disappoinment painted on their faces.. Oooo NO NO.. It's unbearable to see their expression.. I had loose change, thus i gave em 20 cents.. "thank u uncle..." WHACK! Do i look that old? Now comes the 2nd complication, remember that they're mere 5-6 year olds? They cant reach out to fill their cup.. Being the kiddo-lover i am, i offered assistance.. But the prob is, they cant make up their mind on the choice of drink.. One wanted coke and the other wants orange.. Haha, typical kiddo argument.. CUTE! It doesnt stops there.. At the counter.. Arise another complication.. They're too short for the cashier to notice em.. HAHA! Poor kiddos.. Amidst all that, i was lookin ard for their parents but they were no where in sight.. Err, isnt it kinda dangerous to let ya kids roam ard on their own..? Especially at a tender age!

A kind soul sent me all 13 songs frm the album yesterday, online.. Burn, burn! Bless modern techology.. And a particular Abdul Jamal.. Hail Billie Joe and gang..
Fasting month mere hours away.. Caught myself remininscing about the previous 2 fasting months.. In camp back then, the number of times i getta break ma fast with ma pham are countable.. Lesser then the number of fingers on a single hand.. Found myself a new pham then, made up of a large grp of topless guys.. Camp mates.. Yes topless! We'll gather and sit on the floor.. With our spread of feast in front.. They'll play the azan on the PA system.. WACK! I miss tos time.. Plenty of food, plenty of laughters and plenty of spills.. There were harsh times.. Endless rescue scenarios and standbys.. The worst, when we missed out on the 2 previous Hari Raya (on duty).. There were emotions spilled! Err.. Not gonna elaborate on that.. But we did pull thru 2gether.. God bless..

Platypus, i hate u..
There's a DOOFUS working as a receptionist for a clinic in Bedok North.. I'm not gonna name the clinic.. Bloody NINCOMPOOP! Considering this is the 2nd time she messed the que numbers up.. The first was months and months ago.. Mom woke me up 9+ in the morning, the swelling in her mouth got worse.. Groggy, i made my way to the toilet to wash up my face and brush my teeth.. YES i skipped my morning shower! err.. Mom was in great pain, i hafta send her to her company's clinic a.s.a.p.. Reasonable excuse huh?
Timecheck - 0950hrs, arrived at destination..
Thanks to Miss Blooper working on the front desk, mom got diagnosed by the doctor only at 1145hrs.. That's 5 mins short of 2 hours.. I was going bonkers all the while.. Was on the verge of talking to the luohan in the fishtank there.. Yes i talk to fishes! Got a bunch of em at home.. Should i've done that there, i might be sent in for a diagnosis myself eyy?
Singapore Idols.. Well, i was right all along aint i? Jerry and Chris did advance to the next around.. Told u told u ppl so.. Heck! Chrissypoo is a babyface kuniang whose talent is as raw as a fish! Jerry has a singing expression that can turn a female grizzly bear ON but not us humanly viewers.. All that doesnt matter if u have money right? Well those 2 bozos have proven so.. Cant the voting system change? 60% judges choice + 40% audience votes? We need to keep the competition healthy otherwise the show will be a complete turnoff.. Boycott? Hmmm..

Came to school two hours early today, 1000hrs.. Sitting for a test 27 hours later.. Electrical Installations.. Found myself a comfy spot in the school library.. Settled down, did some calculations and reading up..
I didnt take note of the time but i guess it's about 40mins later.. A group of noisy good for nothing goondoos stormed into the library.. Hello stupid pranks, corny jokes and hyena-like laughters.. Goodbye peace, calm and conducive enviroment.. My revision? THE END..
Money and me.. We don't get along very well.. The more i try to save, the more i will spend.. Managed to save a small sum last month but my bike broke down last week.. *bling bling* no more.. Spent it on the repair.. And this week, i saved a tiny weeny sum of cash.. My helmet fell and my visor broke.. It doesnt take an Einstein to figure how i'm gonna spend that sum..

Idols Blooper
Friday - Moaning over Jeassea's exit from Idols.. Contradicting, goat-like singers like Chris and Jerry are able to advance.. Without doubt, Jeassea has the best vocal among the 11 that night.. To top it, she has a good stage presence.. Our current voting system seems unreliable.. I won't be surprise if Jerry will advance further into the top 5.. With friends willing to sms-vote 50 times for him, hell YES he will get that far..
Saturday - My pick for New Face 2004 came up tops, Steph.. At a tender age of 16, she looks dazzling and captivating.. Ooo La La.. 1700hrs, i'm back at a place i left 2 years ago.. Escape Theme Park.. Before, i didnt see myself coming back there to work again..This time as a part time medic.. My appreaciation goes out to Abang Jefri and Nani.. 2 who are responsible for my return.. Familiar surroundings, different faces and different uniforms.. Surprised a countable ol men of Escape when i slip into their office.. Aseren, Imran, Mashoor, Adrian and Rahim.. It felt good to be back.. Definitely.. At this moment of time, my schedule is kinda unplanned for.. I'll work only if they hv an open slot..
