Today is my biiiirthday, hooray! I am now 16 and...not changed at all from yesterday when I was 15 for the last time! Really, I don't think the fact that another year has gone by has had the chance to sink in yet...I think my mind still thinks I'm 15 or something. On another note, I have $229 to spend on whatever the hell I want and I plan to do just that...next weekend. Mommy dearest doesn't want to go out of the house today. She has laundry. ^-^'
Not knowing what to write but wanting to write something is annoying. I'm trying to find inspiration (which writers know can be frustrating because inspiration just happens, and it's very hard to find it on your own). I want to write something as a sort of celebration of my birthday but I've no idea what it is I want to write. Also, I want to download music...but I don't know what to download! WinMX is getting impatient with me waiting for me to type in the Search box. X.x'
Yanno...I haven't thought Beyblade thoughts in a very long time. I wonder why I just stopped? I could rewatch it. When school starts again perhaps I can start watching it again. Well, I'll be going to my uncle's party pretty soon...I don't think we're going to be there for very long, so I should be able to come back and blog more if I want to.
Now allow me to bitch about my story. AHHH! Okay, I'm not that much in a slump about it. I'm talking about Outside of the Box. Ken...will not be doing what Lani did at the end of What Happened To Lani Garver. No, I will NOT let that happen. If it's going to be actual Kenkeru, I can't. So then...what SHOULD happen? I've been going by the book so far, but pretty soon I'm going to have to come up with a different plot twist than the one the book uses, and I'm not sure what it will be. I know how it's going to end. I just don't know how to get there. At least I know how the next chapter is going to happen.
As for Nihilistic...I just may be at even more of a loss with that fic than with Outside. The weird thing is it will be even easier to work with this fic, even though it's less planned out. I will figure something out, I know it. I just need to get the idea or inspiration and then work with it until something fits.
I'm not currently working on anything else, though I'd like to work on Torn Satin...though that will be put aside until Nihilistic and Outside are done, since it's also multi-chaptered, and I don't quite know what I want to do with it. As for the humor/fluff fic (I've been writing too much angst lately - it's getting to my spirit), that'll also have to be put on hold for the meantime. Don't think I'm idle, though. I am working on this. I'm also toying with the idea of writing a Rae challenge. I haven't gone to check to see if there's a new one lately - something tells me the hitchhiker fic wouldn't be too easy for me. I'd like to wait for the next one and see if inspiration hits upon reading it.
My dad is pouring ice into something in the kitchen and it's loud and distracting. I want to go over and begin to eat all of the ice up. (Did I ever mention my obsession with eating ice before?)
Rae has a new challenge up. It's a pairing challenge. You have to take the pairing you hate/never write and write down the characteristics of the characters that make you think they are totally wrong for each other, then write a fic where they are in a relationship, and somehow make it work out. Sounds hard. What pairing do I not like/never write? Uhh...a lot of the het pairings, but I'm not writing one of those. It's hard for me to write anything with Jyou if it isn't Jyoushirou...WAIT! I know the perfect one! Jyouto. Some people just love that pairing and I really can't see what's so appealing about it. I mean, Jyou would drive Yama crazy because of his paranoia and whining and such, while Yama would drive Jyou up the wall with his sarcasm and high-maintenance-ness. (Did any of that make sense? Bottom line: I don't do Jyouto/Yamajyou.) Could I do it? Should I even try? Sounds like it would be really hard. Should I even take on another story at this point? Maybe I should just leave this idea on the shelf for later inspection.

Oversoul!
Yesterday I went on a Ren-loving-spree and drooled over Oversoul and various other Ren pics. And I've only actually ever seen him once, in the very end of one of the Shaman King chapters in a Shounen Jump I believe I own (or it could have been somebody else's.) I don't know why the little guy's so appealing to me. He's just so cute. Well, judging by the pics I saw yesterday, I think I'd have to change that to "hot".
Uh, yeah, anyways, I want to write something new. A fresh new fic, multi-chaptered, start all over, not have to worry about the ones I've started and never worked on. Should I take up Rae's new challenge? No, I want to write something different. Something I haven't tried before. But what? I'd like to write another Takori. I've only written one pure Takori. People liked that enough. I don't want it to be overdone, either. Something original. Think, Niney, think! I'd like to write a humor/romance about troublesome love and freaky relationships that only the DDs could get themselves into. I'll have to free-write later and see what I come up with.
Should I do series commentary now? Hmm...haven't really watched much lately. Since school is over I don't watch Beyblade every morning. Anyways, the series started over again at the first episode...so does that mean I've watched the whole series already? I'm confused. I haven't bought any anime lately, either. I am watching Evangelion, and have the rest of the series in my posession for me to completely watch whenever I find the time and patience to do so. I'll get around to that later.
In another window, I am busy re-reading one of Dragonflie's many wonderful fics (Last Day) to cheer myself up! Why do I need cheering up, you ask? Mona and Isaac are busy being a happy couple at the movies and dear Frankie is working. I feel so alone. Well, not really. I am in a somewhat good mood anyways. I should try this "having a crush on someone who likes you back" thing more often. It's quite fun. XD
On another note, my summer vacation shall get a lot more interesting this coming week. I am going to San Antonio and the Island (South Padre Island) for a few days. Yay! Sun and waves and...heat...and salt...oh it'll still be a lot of fun. I'll be with Mona at the Island. That ought to be...interesting. Schlitterbahn! **Happy odd dance**

Neon Genesis Evangelion - I am nearly halfway through NGE and I am loving it. Shinji is now my sweet Baboo. Oh, Shinji-kun, can I marry you?! *Squee!* =^-^= I can't wait for the Kaworu episode. He and Shinji are meant to be. I never was able to really get into ReiShinji or AsukaShinji. I guess it's because Shinji acts like such a girl. I can't picture him with anyone but Kaworu. Sometimes Rei looks like Kaworu, though.
Beyblade (Nelvana) - I am now a follower of GianOli! THEY LOOK SO FRIGGIN' CUTE TOGETHER! They just have this way of looking at each other like they're the only two people in the world. It's oh-so-romantic. KaiJohnny is FUNNY! Johnny reaaally got under Kai's skin, ne? ^-~ Maybe Enrique and Oliver can double-date with Kai and Johnny. LOL! No, Oliver-chan should not have to endure that torture. Hmm...I wonder if Oliver ever shuts that museum thing to the general public and locks him and Enrique in there for a day. I was thinking today...don't Haku and Akira remind you of each other? Maybe it's the shoulder-length green hair thing. I don't know. I haven't actually seen Akira (Touya) in the HikaGo anime or manga. I'd like to, though. He looks so cute. I saw Spirited Away and got jealous of Chihiro, though, since Haku's so adorable. Shoulder-length green hair is so attractive to me. =P
OH YEAH! I saw Matrix: Reloaded today! It was so awesome. TrinityNeo rocks my world. XD Oh, gosh, that whole part with the dancing and the music and Trinity and Neo in bed...SO awesome. My favorite in the whole movie. (Probably because I have a crush on both Trinity and Neo.) Hehehe...the third movie comes out in November. Can't wait. Trinity is the freaking coolest woman in the whole world. She's beautiful even when her hair is messy and her clothes are dirty. I wanna be like Trinity. *Victory pose a-la Takao*
Naruto - I read the chapter in Naruto where Naruto and Sasuke kiss (Sasuke's first appearance...I think it was like the second chapter ever). SASUNARU! EEEEIIII! *Squee!* Sasuke is so pretty...how can he stand to be so perfect? When I first saw Naruto, I thought he was a little ugly...but now I seem to have developed a sort of affection for the boy. It's funny how that happens. Same thing happened with Kyoujyu from Beyblade. Naru-kun and Kyo-sama, forgive me! x.x I just love Naru's little kitty whiskers. Naru, Kai, and Rei are the bishie nekos.
I miss my koi and the puppy-kun and the kitty-chan. Where is everybody? I thought they would be back from the Band trip by now. I feel so lonely. =< *Sniffle* I wonder if *he* misses me, too? *Daydream* Let's see, if he were an anime boi, who would he be? I think puppy-kun has already taken Shinji (even though Koi and Puppy-kun are almost exactly alike sometimes and Koi reminds me of Shinji a lot), but I guess Koi could also be Ken. My internet is alive again!
Finally have this stupid computer working again. Yay! On another note, I seem to have lost my best friend. Damn it all, can't something go RIGHT for once? Seriously. -_-' Well, not really lost, since she still talks to me (though carefully, as if I might bite her head off any second).
Anyways, I've bought the first two DVDs of Beyblade and I'm so in love with this anime series. Rei! Kai! Max! Kyojyu! Takao! **heartheartlovelove** Hehe, there are SO many Takao/Kyojyu (Tyson/Kenny) hints in the first episodes. I love the Nelvana dub. It's the only version I've watched, of course. They make Rei so cute! I love his voice, and his pretty eyes and hair. I introduced Beyblade to Monique and she likes it! She seems to have a thing for Max and Takao/Kyojyu. Yay, a fellow Beyblade-yaoi-shipper that I can actually talk to in real life. Lol, "Where are his eyes?" "I dunno, they never show them. I bet they're blue." XD Kyojyu just HAS to have blue eyes. I mean, he has red hair. Monique thinks they're green underneath all that hair on his face. Beyblade is replacing my love for Digimon! The world is coming to an end! I NEVER thought another anime would replace Digimon. I wrote a two-part fluff story concerning the White Tigers, the Bladebreakers, and hotel rooms. XD
I need to start writing the next chapter for Nihilistic! I have such a cool scene written in my mind, but I don't know how to get to it! -_-' Don't you hate it when that happens? It's like having an awesome beginning but not knowing how to write the middle.
I think Outside the Box will be set aside for a while. I'm not getting any ideas for that fic at all. I need to read WHTLG again so I can fall back in love with Lani Garver. I also think I'm falling out of love with Ken. Geez, I like to switch bishounen-crushes often, don't I? I think I'm crushing on Rei now. I love thinking about him and Kai...well, you know. ANYWAYS. Yeah, I need to write another cute one-shot for Beyblade! Must find inspiration! Maybe I can rewatch the first eleven episodes on my DVDs and overanalyze a scene with shounen-ai hinting. I don't know.
Today's Beyblade episode was so funny! I thought I'd seen them all (up until that entire week or so when I couldn't see them), but I'd never seen this one. They were at some type of little tournament thing in America and they were beyblading against...THE MAYOR?! And a bunch of movie stars? Geez, EVERYONE loves to beyblade, don't they? X.x' Emily is so mean to Max. Hmph. I don't like her today. Even though she has my hairstyle. (Mine is short and kinda flips up at the ends like Emily's and Sora's, only my hair isn't orangey-red like theirs.) AGH! I just realized Emily and Sora look like, just that Sora doesn't have an evil-bitch look on her face and she doesn't wear glasses! **Shudder** That's just too weird for me, thank you.
Just read another of Sunfreak's fics. I'm addicted to those so badly. My favorite author of all time, hands down. And I've never even heard of or seen half of the series she writes for. I wonder if I sound like a stalker when I review her. O.o'
Just now finished taking a quiz my friend made. Apparently it's about that game Eternal Darkness and I'm the alignment Ulayoth. (Whaaaat?) I have no idea what it's talking about, but oh well. Now I'm in the test-taking mood. Let's see...what quizzes can I take? Why is there no Beyblade selector at selectsmart.com?! I'll take the Dragon Knight selector then. Whoa. I got Rune? X.x' He's the most flaming character in the whole manga! He crossdresses the most out of all of them! He even dressed as a princess to make a ghost prince fall in love with him. (That was interesting.)
LOL @ this Kai/Rei fic I just read. Kai trying to cut Rei's hair. Too funny. Uh, yeah, I have to go take a shower in a while. **Pout** KEVIN'S JAPANESE SUB NAME IS KIKI?! LMFAO!! Kiki! That's TOO cute! I love him ten times more now! Li is Rai and Mariah is Mao. I gotta remember that. Kiki...lol. I JUST GOT MARIAH ON A QUIZ THING! I am not Mariah. I refuse to be Mariah. I may have a crush on Rei, too, but I'm not her. The next choices were Max and Rei. How did I know I was gonna get Max? Really, he's just like Takeru. Okay, on this one I got Kai. Concerning Max and Swimming Trunks...
I think Kai/Max has become one of my liked couples from Beyblade. I was watching an episode the other day when I saw the unthinkable - Kai smiled! Max was very nervous about a battle he was just going to partake in and his teammates were trying to encourage him, and then Max made this little speech about how great he was going to be and he marched off to battle, and then it showed Kai shutting his eyes and smiling to himself. That is the only smile I’ve ever seen Kai give, I think. And it was for Max! Cuuute! So, yeah, now I think they’d be great as a couple, even though the Takao/Max evidence is overwhelming throughout the whole series (I’ve watched nearly thirty episodes, and I think they probably have at least one moment in each episode or something...). Anyways, I got this magazine, Newtype USA, and in it is the picture of Max stripping that I talked about before in some odd author’s note! Well, he’s not really stripping, but he is pulling the straps of his overalls down his shoulders and arms and grinning widely. Oh, and in today’s episode, I got to see Max wearing nothing but his swimming trunks. *-* He has pretty legs.
I want to see Spirited Away this Sunday! It’s coming out in theatres this Friday (we get everything really late here where I live), but I’m going to have to get up super early on Saturday, so I think I’ll go on Sunday when there won’t be too many people and I’ll be able to have more time. Well, that is if my mom says we can go. She said “Maybe.”
I’m actually going to be busy. Wow. Nothing ever happens in my life. Anyways, tomorrow, I get to skip three classes in school, and on Saturday I have to go to a U.I.L. meet. It’s the district meet, so it’ll be the last one. **Pout** I don’t want it to be the last one. Oh well. Next Tuesday, I get to get out of my first three classes (well, two and a half), and then that Saturday (not this one, but the next one), I have to go compete for Choir. Gah, so much! Oh well, I get to skip classes, so it’s all good.
Well, I have nothing else to write, so I'm going to stop writing now.

How did you get introduced into the world of Anime?: My friend Ashley introduced me to Sailor Moon when I was in the sixth grade. (So about...1998?) After that, I decided to “research” the type of animation it was, since it had gotten me so interested.

Cutest: Beyblade (though that could just be because the boys are so darn cute), Cardcaptor Sakura (though I’ve only read the manga)
