Wow...
Maybe my blog really is angsty... hmm
Why do I keep losing?
Why can he do so much to you and yet you still go back to him? Why can I do so much for you and yet you still go back to him? Its not fair. Its not fair at all. Why?
It's time for me to get off...
I never liked roller-coasters, somehow or other I always have this weak stomach that could never stand being turned around constantly or going up and down with a few Gs of force. Yet, I got on a roller-coaster for the past few months, believing that it would have a pefect ending. It did, albeit for a week and a half, but like every roller-coaster, there's always a false ending luring you into a sense of security, before you are released into the biggest drop you have ever seen in your entire life. I loved the false ending, too bad it could never be real. I loved it so much. Now its time to get off the roller-coaster and wait for my stomach to churn and go all wobbly before I can muster the courage to try another one.
On a totally irrelevant note, fairies never existed, but it was a nice belief to hold for awhile.
N!vEk was FrOsTbItTeN on Monday, November 14, 2005 at 07:38 p.m.10 2 Reasons why I didnt blog for so long
1. I'm currently addicted to a new game, Football Manager 2006 and its taking up a hell lot of my time ><
Now for the second reason...
I never wanted to blog because I knew that I'd have to write this entry before I can move on to other topics. Recently, someone remarked that my blog was sounding very angsty... Is it really? Maybe I've been full of angst in the few weeks preceeding? Have I really? Even I don't know that.
Well, belated as it may be, 4 years in R.I have officially come to a close. It never really hit me how final this is, never hit me how we'll never gather in our darkened classroom playing Chris Tang's PSP in the early morning and laughing at HQ and Paniel trying (and failing) to take down the different cars. It never hit me how we'll never chiong straight from PE, shouting "Thank you and Goodbye (Insert teacher's name)" while already halfway to the astroturf (or in some cases, already AT the astroturf). Never hit me how we'll never stay until 8pm at the RI canteen after 5 hours of soccer in the scorching sun. So many things I've come to deny being over. And I'm continuing to deny more things as memories flood my mind and tears start welling up in my eyes.
Was in school today playing soccer, laughing at WooHan for not bringing the soccer ball. Friendships that started from the soccer pitch, the canteen, into the classrooms and gradually into each other's lives. All in the short span of 4 years, friendships that may or may not last a lifetime. But still, great friendships.
And now im gradually stumbling into a mental block as things that I have originally planned out to write now all seem to collapse and form this endless pit which I cannot draw from. Watching vidoes of us being sec 1, sec 2, sec 3 and finally sec 4, each time doing what people our age do best. Being the cute sec 1s with much baby fat, the learning sec 2s grappling with the trials of adolesence, the maturing sec 3s trying to cope with a new system, while being thrusted into becoming seniors of the school and lastly, the "matured" sec 4s, the ever-knowledgable CCALs/PSLs/etc. who are still wondering how much they actually know. How would JC life be compared to these 4 years? Secondary School life has certainly set an extremely high benchmark for JC life to reach. Will it?
The batch song, our batch song. Voices That Care by David Foster was originally penned for the First Gulf War. With certain lyrics changed, it became the batch song of the batch of 2005, 2002, 1999 (you get the idea). But most importantly, it does not matter how many millions different interpretations of the song there is. It's our interpretation of the song that matters to us the most and this is sounding very cliched, but heck.
Lonely fear lights up the sky
Orientation Camp - Xcalibre 2002 - I WANT TO GO HOME!
Can't help but wonder why, we're so far away Orientation Camp - I WANT TO GO BACK TO MY PRIMARY SCHOOL FRIENDS!
Then, you didn't have a friend, to lend a helping hand, Life can be so strange
First weeks at RI - Hello? May I know your name? Somebody help me PLEASE!
But now, we're reaching out to you, doesn't matter who, as long as we are friends
After first weeks at RI - PSGM. Class of 1M 2002
And I won't turn my back on you, our friendship will be true. Never let it end
GEP Camp 2002 - Sembawang Campsite - Class of 1M secretly voted most "enthu" class (Or so our sec 3 leader told us)
Stand Tall, Stand Proud, Voices that Care are crying out loud
Moving on to Sec 2, leaving 1M behind, but never leaving aside the friendships formed
And When you close your eyes tonight, feel in your heart how our love burns bright
Finishing Sec 2, moving to to become seniors of the school. New classes once again in Sec 3
We are the voice, we are the liiiiiiight
Sec 3 OBS camp, Mosiac 2004, Ubin, 4D3N
Stand Tall, Stand Proud, Voices that Care are crying our loud
Prometheum Day 2004, Recieving the Mantle of Leadership
And When you close your eyes tonight, feel in your heart how our love burns bright
Sec 1 Orientation, Illume 2005, PSL of 1K, passing on the batch song
We are the voice and the Guiding Light, Feel in your heart how our love burns bring
RI Batch of 2005, Thanx for all the memories.
We have sung this countless times, in countless different places. Yet, each time it takes on a new meaning, be it having conquered a new height (OBS), showing a bond of friendship (Farewell), Passing it on to the Sec 1s (Illume 2005) or just singing it for fun (On the rowboat during OBS). It will always be special, just like us.
On a totally irrelevant note, I'm going to rewatch our batch video now =)

A nameless passer-by
A solitary figure lingering on a street corner
A person rushing past.
It could be anyone, anybody.
Someone coming, going, living in our anonymous society.
A member of the crowd, one of the silent majority.
The one who cries out, sings and dreams within us all
Next time you walk on the streets, take the bus, sit in a coffeeshop, do not be too quick to judge the person who does not do what you deem is right. Do not silently curse at the "selfish" person hogging 2 seats on the bus, do not silently swear at the "inconsiderate" person refusing to sacrifice his seat. Chances are, you've been in his shoes before and have had numerous people silently swear and curse at you. Why follow in thier footsteps then? After all, its all a Quidam, you probably will never see each other again.
I'm one. I'm two.
I'm all yet none of you.
The truth, the lie,
the tear, the laughter,
the hand and the empty touch.
Here I am alone.
Waiting for the curtain call.
An ordinary man, Quidam.
I'm everyman.
I'm anyman.
On a totally irrelevant note, been wanting to post this for some time, just never had the time to. So. Yay.

Yuk, i let my blog die again >< ah well. After 4 entries about other stuff, its back to blogging about my life... Basically, HCL Os are coming up and im floundering with my lousy Chinese. I cant even understand words i "learnt" in sec 1 and 2 =(. Also, Music Exam coming up which I only have ONE chance in.. pressure... lol.
Results were pretty decent, 82 in Chem (very careless), 83 in Eng (Subject to change), 90 in SS (YAY!) , 73 in Hist (After arguing), 76 in bio (which was quite wasted) 62 for phyx (YES, NO MORE PHYX EVER AGAIN!) and 61 for maths (CARELESS, BOOOO!). Pretty decent, but didnt meet my target sigh. Final GPA should be 3.64, with an average mark of 75.67... 79 in eng and chem! hopefully can get 1 mark somewhere to pull up! :) hehz. 4 in SS and Hist again, Chi improved to 3.2, phyx and bio unchanged. oh well, im quite happy. Whee
On a totally irrelevant note, Martin lost his bet to Guankoon and he has to run a half marathon (21km) now! yay. =)

How many of us are guilty of sending cryptic messages within our blogs, hoping that that someone will eventually decipher the message and understand what you did not have the guts to say to the person face-to-face. Isn't it just a case of leaving the person in a state of confusion, "Is he reffering to me? Or is he not?" Either way, you would have achieved your aim to a certain extent, by making the person think about what you've said and suspect that it is reffering to them. On the other hand, if the person does not suspect at all, you're still safe. I know I've been guilty of sending cryptic messages but sadly, I don't ever think I'll have the courage to stop.
I still think about you sometimes, aren't I pathetic? For the time being, I will read your entries and wonder if they are about me. Pathetic, sigh
On a totally irrelevant note, Breastfeeding does pass AIDS. Damn ><
N!vEk was FrOsTbItTeN on Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at 05:47 p.m.Gee Brain, what are we going to do tonight?
The same thing we try to do every night Pinky
Try to take over the world!!
It's Pinky and the Brain
Yes, Pinky and the Brain
One is a genius
The other's insane
They're laboratory mice
Their genes have been spliced
They're dinky,
They're Pinky and the Brain brain brain brain brain
Can't believe I can still remember the entire song... So weird. Anyway, after randomly singing Pinky and the Brain at midnight yesterday, I tried to see what other songs I can remember and it was amazingly a whole lot. Songs from spiderman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, X-men, Looney Toons and the like just all came flooding back. One interesting thing I realised is that I was singing all these songs when I didn't even know what the lyrics meant back then. The power of TV at its best.
Before each night is done
Their plan will be unfurled
By the dawning of the son
They'll take over the world
They're Pinky and the Brain
Yes Pinky and the Brain
Their twilight campaign,
Is easy to explain
To prove their mousey worth
They'll overthrow the Earth
They're Dinky,
They're Pinky and the Brain brain brain brain brain brain brain brain brain!
Narf!
I want to watch Pinky and the Brain again! Now the standard of cartoons on TV have dropped drastically... Sad =( Whatever happened to classics like Animaniacs, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or Freakazoid! Now on TV there's... Justice League. Ugh ><
On a totally irrelevant note, I need to mug. Now. Sigh.
N!vEk was FrOsTbItTeN on Saturday, October 8, 2005 at 10:31 a.m.Watching Slides Flash By
As Ms Wei Ling flashed slide after slide of chinese compo answers on the screen, we saw clearly where we went wrong in our compos. Every mistake flashed on the screen, every mark awarded flashed on the screen. "Everyone of you can get full marks for this" she claims. If only...
As our life flashes by, how many of us really clearly see where we went wrong in our lives? Will every mistake be flashed in full across the faces of our friends? Will every mark we make be flashed across the eyes of our friends? Chances are nope, not at all. Its not that simple, we inevitably cannot make everything right. There is no such thing as liquid paper in life, all you can do is take a green pen and try to correct the wrongs you have made. Like the exam paper, your original mistake will always be there, shown to the entire world. Its the green-pen correction you make that tells the world how much you've learnt from it.
When prelim results were released, some were happy, some were sad, some were relieved, some were downright shocked. Me? I was relieved and happy. I think I did well, from languishing at the bottom of the class to around average, its pretty good for me. I got lucky i guess, scored well in unmuggable areas while dying in muggable ones. Someone asked me "Why are you so happy with your mark when your friend with about the same mark is so sad?" I replied "Because I know my standard is nowhere near there, and its a good result for me"
Where is the line between expectations and dreams? I dream of getting A1 of course, but I do not expect it. What happens when our dreams and expectations mix into one? When we expect what we dream or dream what we expect? Either way, it is bad, because if one expects his dreams, he'll be bitterly disappointed when it does not fulfill. When one dreams what he expects, he's not dreaming anymore. Leave dreams to be dreams and expect what you can achieve. That way, your dreams will be sweet when u finally achieve them. Like our SMP, what a dream it was.
Sorry for not crying with you all this time, i realise now that I haven't been a good friend all this while. Been too caught up with trying to make you happy that I haven't realised when it was time to cry with you. Thanks for waking me up.
On a totally irrelevant note, for those people who are still curious about my prelim marks. Its 67%, 15 for ying yong wen, 47 for zhuo wen and 72 for main paper. there =)
N!vEk was FrOsTbItTeN on Friday, October 7, 2005 at 10:26 p.m.Goodbye
RI is undergoing a huge refurbishment and by the time its done, my batch may have graduated from RJC already. Its so surreal to imagine how RI will be after 2 years with the artist impression and all. Terms like RI Green and RI Circle will soon come into circulation amongst the new students in RI. Very soon, no one will remember what the "Junior Block Field" was, no one will ever remember the rustic charm of the "Gryphons Lair" with the table tennis tables splashed with paint and whatnot, table soccer table with one striker flipped the wrong way, graffiti wall and the spoilt piano with 3 broken keys, all accompanied by sofas with holes and sponge leaking out. Undoubtedbly, new tables, new sofas and maybe even a new piano will take its place. It will take another 15 years before it becomes as wrecked as the Gryphons Lair we have now. Another 15 years before students will have to switch sides after 5 goals to even out the disadvatange a flipped striker gives. Another 15 years before the table tennis collaspes everytime one lies on it in an attempt to return a ball close to the let. Another 15 years before RI students can immerse in the amazing atmostphere the old Gryphons lair gave.
Very soon, the RI canteen with its 6 stalls will be forgotten. Favourites like Wanton noodles from Oodles of Noodles or the lime juice from Cafe Delight and the fried drumstick from Kampong Istemewa will never be tasted for at least a few months. Despite its small size, our canteen has been home to a lot. When it is finally demolished, it'll take away a lot as well. No more sitting around the red round tables sipping lime juice after finishing a game of soccer. No more slacking on the green long tables for half an hour before finally trudging out of school after a long day. No more hearing the Kampong uncle say "1.5 million". No more half-jokingly shouting at prefects to book queue-cutters and laughing at their bewildered expression when the accused lies "Not me! I was here all along". No more watching people sneak to the back of Oodles of Noodles and asking the auntie for noodles (effectively short-cutting the entire queue in front). No more listening to dedications over the PA system and hearing "You don't know my name" with the dedication "This is a song from Vivek to Rajasekeran" (They are the same person btw, his name is Vivek Rajasekeran). No more following the unwritten rule that anyone sitting down without food should always give up seats to those with food. No more sitting in the canteen and observing the demographics of canteen life. The "Softballers table", "Indians Table", "Sec 1s tables", "GEP tables" just to name a few. Different places in the canteen which groups have made a home in and return to every recess and lunch with no one taking those spots away. Everyone seemed to have a little home somewhere in the canteen. Now all that is gone.
Albert Hong Hall will be demolised too, to make way for a spanking new hall and even a "CCA hub". No more sitting on the wooden floor listening to speaker after speaker drone on. No more looking upwards to the gallery to see if teachers were staring down on us or not. No more falling asleep in the comfort of the airconditioned hall thanks to a boring speaker. No more watching the black doors suddenly fly open and bright sunlight streaming in before a prefect rushes to close it and put a chair to ensure it remains close. No more going to the weights room, or slacking in the area in front of the squash courts.
With destruction comes new life, too bad I'll never get to live in the new RI, never get to feel it functioning as a student ever again. Never get to see how the age old problems associate with canteens will be solved nor see how the school will function without a working track nor get to do Dramafeste in the new performing arts center. In a way, I'm now part of the "Old RI", the RI that existed for the past 15 years. Part of those that have eated at the green long tables or round red tables. Part of those that pulled off Dramafeste in RI LT1. Part of those that have played RISK on a paint-stained table in the Gryphons lair.
RJC will be new. In a way, I'll be part of the first few batches that will eventually determine how RJ will be in a few years time. I'll be part of those who will accidently leave unwashable paint on the floors of RJ while painting house banners. Part of those who will run on the track, slowly turning the red track into black. Part of those who will draw on the tables at RJ and slowly leave unremovable marks on the tables. Ironic isnt it, how my batch will be the last to fully experience the old RI and one of the first to fully experience the new RJC.
As the Sec 4 batch gathered around for the batch photo yesterday, their was a air of joyfulness that masked the sadness some felt. An impromptu batch song rang out while waiting for the cameramen to get ready. Stand Tall. Stand Proud. Voices that care are crying out loud. Probably the last time a batch will sing their batch song in the Albert Hong Hall. Definitely the last time a batch will be taking a batch photo in the hall. As the photo was taken, many left the hall. Some stayed back to do various things, put back a banner, steal KY's shoe or just wander around. Never again will these take place in the Albert Hong Hall.
Goodbye Old RI. Its been nice knowing you, been nice running around the school trying to keep up with the energentic sec 1s of 1K, been nice running on the track doing 2.4 every year, been nice playing soccer amongst the sandy patches or kicking up mud after it rains. Been a nice 4 years. Definitely.
On a not so irrelevant note, you miss the weirdest stuff when something you've known for a long time is taken away. And when you close your eyes tonight, feel in your heart how our love burns bright.

N!vEk was FrOsTbItTeN on Thursday, September 22, 2005 at 10:09 p.m.Down with Conjuctivitis...
Woke up on wednesday with one eye sore, didnt think too much about it cos it was just minor irritation tho it got steadily worse but I went on as per normal. Then on thursday, BOOM, both of my eyes were super super sore but i still stupidly went to school and apparently it was VERY obvious, with everyone who saw me asking me what happened, and some cringing and screaming "Don't look at meee!" (Read: Some = Poey and Martin). =) So after enduring one heck of a long day at school, went home then went to see an eye doctor. Turned out to be conjuctivitis. Yay... Anyway, something interesting to note about the eye clinic, all the doctors are surnamed "Tan" with all graduating from either Edinburgh or Ireland Universities. Highly likely they're brothers, so cool. nvm.
So I got to skip school on friday! (yay) but I'll have to miss Youth Science Conference!! (BOOOOO!) SO SAD... Especially since I thought we had a good chance of getting a prize since we got one last year. anyway, Jiahua and Ivan (My other teammates) were fantastic! Though not very moralising to me (Ivan's nick read "Omg, Jiahua we're screwed). Anyway, they rocked! whee! and our mentor was one of our judges! (Read : YAY!) hahaz, so ivan and jiahua managed to impress the judges enough to get a merit! YAY! They ROCK!
uhh, time to backtrack abit, HCL prelims went well! I was spewing chinese proverbs in my compos, somehow or other i managed to squeeze in 3 yan yus, (Translated) Wildfire cannot burn finish - wind blow grow again, Never judge a book by its cover, and Sky under no hard stuff, only scared got heart man. Heh, did u understand those? *grin* anyway, I should get rather decent marks yay.

I need pixie dust. Or maybe if I closed my eyes and shut the world out I would be able to find some peace. How much stamina do I have to keep running away from my problems? One has been 14months, another has been 1 month, the last has been 2 weeks. How long can my stamina last? What would happen when I run out? Would I just collapse on the track and watch life pass me in a daze? Or would my problems catch up with me and destroy me? Do I dare stop running? Can I stop them from chasing me? Do I dare turn around and yell "STOP CHASING ME"? I don't. I guess I'll keep on running then.
Run run as fast as you can, you cant catch me! I'm the Gingerbread man!

N!vEk was FrOsTbItTeN on Monday, September 5, 2005 at 05:43 p.m.Soccer Commentary
lol, due to the fact that my two sisters were hogging the tv and the sole cable point watching Disney Channel, i was left to read live commentary on England VS Wales. Aaand... it is probably the best thing today! (aside from the fact that the 3 of us are home alone as our mom is in malaysia for the weekend =) ) anyway, back to the commentary, I'm reading Soccernet's coverage btw. It is BRILLANT! seriously. Some gems include...
0 min - Wowzers; what an atmosphere. God Save The Queen was roundly booed by the Welsh, as was Land of Our Fathers by the English.
2 mins - There have been two minutes, and Wales haven't had a touch. They are an awful football side. About as good as Andorra.
8 mins - Great atmosphere; rubbish game.
18 mins - Unbelieveable. The first foul of the game has just been committed. 18 minutes in to the game before a foul. No-one seems remotely interested. KICK SOMEONE!
24 mins - The crowd are mainly dressed in red; it looks somehow like Chinese New Year. One can almost smell the prawn crackers.
31 mins - I'm not one to exaggerate, but this is dreadful. Go outside and watch the grass grow; it's going to be more interesting than this.
32 mins - Wales are letting England have a lot of the ball, knowing that when the boys in white try and do anything remotely creative, they will inevitably screw it up.
34 mins - Did you know, readers, that John Toshack has worked in six different European countries? Can you name them? It's something to do...
39 mins - Again, England knock the ball about, 40 yards from goal, with no particular direction or ambition. I'm angry.
45 mins - HALF-TIME: Imagine your worst nightmare. This has been it. My head hurts from thinking up words to replace the expletives that I want to use during this commentary.
51 mins - I swear that Hartson's head has got even bigger during the half-time interval. Maybe he has injected it with something, in order to appear more intimidating. Just a thought.
61 mins - Again, England knock the ball about in defence without any real pressure or purpose or desire. Wales prepare to make a substitution.
64 mins - Young has done okay; nothing special. He's not been tested at all, but he hasn't screwed anything up. That's about all he can hope for.
67 mins - England seem to have moved Rooney out to the right, and are playing Defoe through the middle. Same dreadful formation; different players.
74 mins - SUB: Joe Cole off, Hargreaves on. The Bayern Munich midfielder has a Welsh mother, and is greeted by boos from the home crowd. Get over it.
79 mins - The stadium announcer reveals that almost 71,000 poor suckers have paid money to watch this drivel. I feel like crying for them
81 mins - Earnshaw wins his side a free-kick when he is floored by Carragher. Beckham complains, but he would, wouldn't he?
88 mins - There has been a marginal improvement in terms of action and excitment in these final minutes, though precious little in terms of goal-mouth action. I'm sorry, I really am.
W00t! couldn't resist putting so much down, its HILARIOUS! hahaz, also i tink he HAS to write something down every minute, thus u can stuff like...
73 mins - Lampard fires a shot high and wide after collecting a Rooney pass 30 yards out. I mention this only because the rest of the 'action' on the pitch has been so very painfully boring.
75 mins - Rooney is incredible.
And... 77 mins - ...Carl Fletcher and Giggs stand over the ball...
LOL! POWERFUL! for once im happy i didnt get to watch the tv! such a joy live commentary is...
On a totally irrelevant note, happy birthday grace! incidentally, i was the 3rd person to wish her happy bdae today... and i wished her at 12:02am!! this is one popular girl :) hehz
N!vEk was FrOsTbItTeN on Saturday, September 3, 2005 at 11:56 p.m.Sticking the back of a fork up one's throat
lol, doesnt my title sound like some ancient chinese torture method? anyway, that's EXACTLY what i just got from my Grandmother!! ok, lemme give a brief description of the torture process...
Grandma : Boy, do u have a sore throat?
Me (very stupidly) : Yes...
Grandma : Let me see
Me (Even more stupidly) : *opens mouth*
Grandma : Ahh, your tonsils are hanging too low, come, I show you my UB3R-HAx0rz medical skills! (Fine, so she didnt really say that, but something along those lines)
Me (Very stupidly) : Ok.
-2 mins later, grandma comes back with a fork, a cup of salt water and salt-
Grandma : Open your mouth
Me (now abit more sensible) : Nono, i'm fine! really! Miracle cure!
Grandma : Nonsense, my UB3R-HAx0rz medical skills will heal u INSTANTLY, within FIVE minutes no more sore throat
Me (Dooomed) : Nono, AAAHHHHH
Note, at this point in time, she has shoved the back of the FORK into my throat and put copius amounts of salt onto my tonsils
Me (Throat burning) : Ahhhhhh
Grandma (very calmly) : When you cannot take it anymore, go gargle with water and spit it out
Me (Throat on fire) : Ahhhhhh
At this point in time, I grab the nearest cup of liquid i can see (which is the one my grandma brought in, refer to top) and gulp it and try to gargle. sadly. the cup was full of... SATURATED SALT WATER!
Me (Throat on fire and feeling very very stupid) : *spits everything out* Ahhhhhh
Grandmother (VERY VERY calmly) : See, in FIVE minutes no more sore throat thanks to my UB3r-HAx0Rz skills
Yes, so now i have a worse sore throat than before... It is also interesting to note how she totally puts down western doctors. "HAIYO, I one look and know what sickness you have, no need to pay money for the western doctor, might as well pay ME. I can heal u within ONE day (yup, with her UB3r-HAx0RZ skills) But i know u need the MC, thats why you see the doctors RIGHT?" And this is one heck of a vicious cycle... I dread tmrw morning when she will ask if i still have a sore throat...
Scenario A
Grandma : Boy, do u still have ur sore throat?
Me : Uhh... Yes
Grandma : HAIYO
*Refer to above for rest of this scenario*
Scenario B
Grandma : Boy, do u still have ur sore throat?
Me : No! Definitely not!
Grandma : SEE! MY UB3R HAx0rz medical skills have cured you! I'm so pro, no need to see western doctors! They only good for giving u MC!
*Next time I have a sore throat*
Gradma : Boy, do you have a sore throat?
*Refer to above*
It is also perhaps time to point out that my grandmother is not some powerful chinese Sinseh... Not even close... She was a... landlady, ah wellz. (Throat still burning)
On a totally irrelevant note, I'm feeling better now (minus the burning throat), thanks to all those who asked :)

hahaz, go visit this site! I just realised that when u translate english-chinese and back to english it really really SUPER funny. There's this one scene where the actual speech was "Stop the car!" so naturally the chinese translation is "Ting3 Che1" and then the chinese-english translation turns out to be... "PARKING!" LOL! so it comes out as "Jean, PARKING!" hehzz. And another priceless quote from Star Wars Ep.3
: "i living the child's time you must at home. make the home a little bit more safe. i can breakfast for the new house that baby tidy up it. it has a great father. a great hopeless situation warrior" hehz.
On a totally irrelevant note, i feel sick. Half of 4R is sick. 1/4 of my class is sick... bleh

I know we've been, friends forever
But now I think I'm feeling something totally new
And after all this time, I've opened up my eye's
Now I see, you were alway's with me....
Could it Be
You and I never imagined
Could it Be
Suddenly, I'm falling for you
(I am falling)
Could it Be
You were right here beside me
And I never knew
Could it be that it's true that it's you
That it's you
It's kinda funny you were, always's near
But who would ever thought that we would end up here
But every time I needed you, you've been there for me through
Now it's clear
I've been waiting for you...
On a totally irrelevant note, does anyone know wat enzymes are invovled in plant germination?

When I was just a little boy
I asked my mother what would I be
Would I be handsome?
Would I be rich?
Here's what she said... to me
No.
On a totally irrelevant note, I got a guitar! =) and no, my mum didnt really say that, duh?

aha, friday was inter-house recycling comp. and honestly, morrison sort of got pwned like mad. Let me quote u an example of the gulf in "class". Morrison - 170 cans (note: we were pretty proud of ourselves because we had 170 cans). aaaaand then came along BAYLEY house. they starting counting in batches of FIVE. when i dropped by, they were at 144, i.e. 144 * 5!!! like... -_-'' utterly PWNED. anyway they ended up with a count of 1251 cans. insanity. Bascially bayley owned recycling. Hullett came back strong and tried to own, but was out-owned by Bayley. Morrison was 3rd, not bad since we brought everything on one day only (bayley and hullett were saving up for quite some time liao). Buckley was a very close fight, but we beat them in design. Moor... just gave up completely. yup.
Anyway, looks like President Nathan is going to be president again. no-contest. wow. is it just me, or was this in a way very very expected? ah well, look at how much nonsense they dug up on Andrew Kuan. lol, in Singapore, if Mediacorp wants to screw you over, your dead. look at T.T. Durai man... he was kinda dumb trying to sue Straits Times... heh, this is what happens when you only have one source of news. Must have conflicting sources! ahaha, history student! :D
Man U 2 - Everton 0. whee, nice match! Park should have scored but nvm. hahaz, was doing my SS report during the mat ch =) Only finished it after 3 1/2 hours of watching soccer and doing SS. Oh, and the topic is seriously propogandic in nature. "Should National Loyalty be the most important consideration in the formulaton of Singapore's national education policy" Its subtle propoganda man.
On a totally irrelevant note, I have had foriegn visitors from 9 different countries now! WHEE! powerful :)

wahoo, its almost a year since I last changed my layout, so I decided to change it! (Partly also because I dun feel like doing SS now). hahaz, so, Frostbitten v6 is up! And im getting ready to be suanned by my sis for my lousy designing skills... lol, nvmz. it looks... decent enough yupyup =) and penguins rock
Anyway, expect some minor tweaks to the layout in the following days (once I start getting suanned by my sis) :P hahaz, anyway, today was "English Fest", basically a slack day for us hahaz. Went to Asian Civilisations museum and honestly, it wasnt very interesting. Nvm, shall not comment
BiteRace was yesterday, we got third. $20 Fish and Co Voucher. wheeeeee. Lazy to blog about the rest of it, but basically we went Lau Pa Sat, Far East Square, Old Airport Road, Suntec and Ikea. yay.
On a totally irrelevant note, do YOU know where you will run to when life leaves u out in the cold?
