Oh geez... Tennis try-outs are such a bummer, but i've been at it for the past two years, so i might as well stick it out for another year.... well, i just wanted to remind you guys to start early on volunteer hours, and heather, call me sometime to talk about the picnic. Tuesday, July 23, 2002 Today I realized I am a horrible human being, and I’ll probably burn in hell…
Why?
I guess some of you already know I’m working as a camp consoler for the summer, right? Well, I’m taking care of a lot of different kids, and, as in any group of kids, there’s the crybaby. Oh my god…his name is Robert. He practically came to camp crying this morning because he was afraid of going to the dentist, so it took other consolers and I some time to get him in a better mood, but what makes me such a horrible person is what he was crying about soon after. He found a gray inchworm he affectionately called “Inchy”. I was talking to one of the other kids when I hear…
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~!!!!
I run over to Robert…he’s crying because on of the other kids knocked “Inchy” off of his stick. I’m just like…”This is going to be a long day…” I calm him down, show him that “Inchy” survived the fall, and give him my empty water bottle so he can keep him inside with grass and shit. Problem solved, right? No. During the athletics portion he starts bawling again, because (he’s been carrying around the water bottle with “Inchy”) one of the kids bumped into him and he dropped the water bottle…ugh…but that’s not the best part…
Since he’s had so much trouble taking care of “Inchy”, Robert decides to let him go. I pick up the inchworm and take Robert over to the tree where he found him…the whole time, muffled by his bawling, he’s saying things like “I’ll never forget you “Inchy”!”, “I love you “Inchy”!”…I’m tearing up (trying to hold in my laughter)…and trying to consol him at the same time (I’m not that horrible to just laugh), saying things like “It’s very brave *snicker* of you to let him free!” (and more stupid things like that to try and calm him down)…
I put it (the inchworm, not Robert) on the tree and it starts to climb up, he starts hugging the tree, crying, and saying “I’ll always remember you, “Inchy”!”…I lost it, I turned around a started to die laughing.
CAN YOU BLAME ME!!?
I’m a horrible person, I know, but at least I can admit it. And don’t get me wrong, I felt bad about it…but it was fucking funny! I better stop before I dig myself a little deeper.
So long “Inchy”…wherever you are…

The photographer's said I should keep my black barbed wire necklace on for the drape and the gown picture~ I DID.
OMG I got so pissed. I went back into the girl's dressing room behind the stage to change from my shirt to the ghetto top-part-dress-drape thing and I did that fine. When I went to change back into my red button up shirt ---- the dressing room was closed and locked. One of the shitty construction workers must've done it. So I was standing in the hallway behind the stage... wondering where to change. The girl's dressing room was locked, the boys dressing room was locked. The prop room was locked. I was really pissed. So I changed really fast in the hallway. I was so paranoid a construction worker was gonna come into the hall. Damn. I'd never changed shirts that fast in my life. X|
