ok so from thursday - friday i went to visit diana in san diego (UCSD) with alice. left around 2 and only went through a little traffic at the end of our journey. got there, went shopping at the UTC (westfield shoppingtown) but left without making any purchases :(. stopped by ralphs and bought 30bucks worth of junk food, then i started getting a headache. back at diana's apartment, we watched tv and around 9:30, left for the beach with diana's bro daniel and his gf. at the beach, i really started feeling sick and felt like throwing up after i had a couple s'mores. chilled there and listened to diana + alice gossiping. when we got back at midnight, i knocked out for 3 hours on the couch downstairs and felt better when i got up. they were already sleeping when i went to diana's room.. so i just went back to sleep. but duuude i forgot my bag with my STUFF in there (face+body wash, shampoo/conditioner, & contact stuff). but i borrowed diana's stuff so it was cool. on friday i made them wake up at 10, and we ate brunch on campus. unintentionally stole a visitor's guide from the bookstore. i totally thought it was free! left diana at 3ish. encountered lots of traffic, so alice+i went shopping at the carlsbad company stores (outlets). shawna was a happy camper. =D i got 3 pairs of flip flops + hot pink nail polish from GAP, and two tops from banana republic. yayayay. got back to the walnut/westco area around 7 and went out with melvin to watch i, robot later. hmm it was pretty good but not super awesome. knocked out right when i got home.

oh yeah i got a parking citation when i was at UCSD for not having a permit. 40bucks maan. gotta remember to appeal it. melvin came over today to make cake and we burned it =( sucks. hmmm and i need to go to the gym cuz i feel fat and lazy. tomorrow i will forsure. ugh. annd i finished over half of my first dialectical journal. go me! mkay.

//summer madness

woow so i haven't updated this in what seems like a long time. don't think much has been happening; basically just started psych101 at fullerton. man parking is such a bitch. there's this one girl in my class whom i think looks almost exactly like jamie from real world san diego. isn't that a trip. she's just a little lighter.. but yeah. other than that, i've been going to the gym somewhat regularly. monday for a mini-workout, then yesterday + today for nice long strenuous ones. yesterday i saw sachi there, then today i saw my favorite white girl liz! haha yup. hm what else. been going out with melvin lots -- what else is new? also.. last thursday, i went with christi, steph, mindy, + kat to downtown disney for christi's late birthday celebration. aw man i love chillin' with my girls!! you guys are awesome. ate at rainforest cafe, where they were checkin out those waiters (uhh huh). watched the notebook, which was pretty cute and extremely sentimental. throughout the whole movie, i was like "i thought it was supposed to make me cry" because it was just like ehh. then in the very last scene, it was soo like omg and i heard everyone around me sniffing, and i was like "oh fuckit" and let the tears roll. haha everyone was like wtf shawna's crying? hahah. but the last part was seriously sweet. it was a great movie to see with girlfriends.
anyway, i have no idea why i'm updating. i should either be a. studying for my first midterm tomorrow, or b. at jenn's house with everyone else watching movies. i guess i'll go do one of those things now. =)
