At 1 years-2 months-and 2 weeks old, Jordan is growing and growing and growing. His babbles are starting to sound more like real words. Some things he can clearly say are: ma ma, da da, pa pa, uh oh, di di, and vroom. There are also some other things he tries to say but they're not so clear. He also likes going out. If you take him with you to answer the door he thinks he's going to go outside and when you close the door he starts crying until you let him go outside, even just for a little while. And since I've been going to school (this semester), he's excited seeing me and my husband coming home after school. Of course we're as excited seeing him as he is seeing us. It's just that we leave him asleep early each morning, we feel bad leaving him and having him wake up to not seeing us until late in the afternoon. Since he's beginning to get much older and become more aware of things, it's getting harder and harder to leave him when we go to school. I hope this doesn't affect me when I go to school next semester or when I start work.

Today I got my grade for my presentation. I was pretty surprised... I got a good grade. I was afraid that I wasn't going to get a good grade because I just didn't present myself that good. She told me that she knows how anybody could be nervous when giving a presentation in front of the class, so she didn't put nervousness (or whatever you want to call it) against anyones grades. Anyways, I guess you can say that today was a pretty good day. I found out that there's no theory class on wednesday, my theory test was moved to wednesday of next week, my medical terminology test was moved to monday of next week, and I got a good grade on my presentation. So I was pretty much in a good mood today.... hope it stays that way (at least for the rest of the day).

Anyways, schools almost over (actually the academy is almost over) and I'll hopefully be a certified nursing assistant. But at the rate that I'm going, I don't know for sure if that will happen. This is the problem, we're supposed to complete about 85% from our skills check list and I probably have only... 25% checked off and there is only 6-8 more days of clinical. Plus today, we were notified that another group of CNAs will be at our clinical site at the same time we're there. So that means: crowded halls, less patient interaction, and maybe even some confrontation between my class and the other class. This is really frustrating for my group because since the beginning of clinicals we've had it bad. We have to go into clinicals at 6am, we had to change clinical sites due to a group of RNs, our new clinical site was an acute facility rather than a health care facility, and now there's another group of CNAs at the same facility as us--making us race to each of our patients. *sigh* Well... there's nothing that we can do.... Tomorrow's the big day--the day that my clinical group meets this other group of CNAs. I can't wait to see how tomorrow goes.
