I was posting at Mommy Boards and I got a reply to a message that I posted about potty training. Someone replied back with an article mentioning a practice that people used to practice. Here's the article that she posted *click*. It's really interesting and I suggest that you read it. After reading it I would like to hear any comments you have about the article. If you could please comment (scream) to this entry. Jordan's birthday party is coming up. He's going to be 2 years old!! I can't believe how much he's grown! Yesterday I passed out a couple of invites and I'll be passing out more throughout the rest of the week, up until the day of his party. I chose to have it at Pizza Hut this coming weekend. I don't really have a theme for it, other than the fact that it's a pizza party. I was planning to make it a Hot Wheels Pizza Party, but I didn't pull through with it because I'm really tight with money. I mean I have to be since I'll probably be spending a grip of money on the pizza. I might just get bags, fill them up with candy and just hand them out. I'm not too sure yet but I'll have everything planned at least by Thursday. I just finished summer school and now I can focus more on Jordan's party. Then tomorrow I'll be going to Bakersfield with Michael and Jordan to buy some stuff for his birthday party. At least that's what we plan to do, if not I'll just go to some of the local stores to get some party stuff. I'll probably be cheap and go to the 99 cent stores or something. - Mommy Lala screamed | |

These past 2-3 weeks Jordan has been going to sleep really late. I guess it's all because of those nights when I would stay up writing my essays. Hopefully his sleeping habits will go back to normal once the next semester begins. If he doesn't I'm going to be losing tons of sleep. I can hardly believe it, Jordan is going to be 2 next month. He's growing up so fast and he's getting so big! Those baby years are long gone! Here comes the "terrible 2's". I hope he doesn't become too much of a trouble. *crosses fingers* Anyways, I'm planning his birthday. Due to the lack in money we've resorted to having a pizza party. The theme for his birthday is Hot Wheels and we're holding his party at Pizza Hut's party room. I've still got to turn in the deposit for the party room, hopefully I don't procrastinate. Note to self: Get your lazy ass up and pay the gosh darn deposit before someone else does!!! Ok, I just had to make a little reminder for myself. =oP Yesterday, I went to my friend Joy's babyshower. She's due at the end of this month. I can tell that she's really excited. You can just see her glowing! Congrats Joy and best of luck to you and to your baby to come. - Mommy Lala screamed | |

I recently joined The Mommy Boards. It's maintained by Jessica @ innocenz.net. It's a message board for mommy's and for mommy's-to-be. It is a really nice environment and there are many things available on the board. It is a must see! I also thought that I should point out that two of my other friends are also pregnant. Joy is about 32 weeks pregnant and Dee is about 5 months pregnant. Congrats both to Joy and Dee. [edit] I just visited The Mommy Boards and it turns out the things were lost because of some error or something. Fortunately the owner had a backup of the files and was able to recover everything except that she made a backup before I joined so it's as if I didn't join and make any posts.
