Just the other day I was talking to a friend of mine from high school and she told me about one of my other friends who just had her baby at the beginning of this month. I called my friend (who had the baby) this morning and we talked about her pregnancy and about how it was having a baby. She shared her thoughts/feelings and I responded with my own thoughts/feellings. I plan on visiting her within this next week. I can't wait to she her as well as her new baby girl.

As for my little boy, he's growing up so fast. He knows what he wants and is forceful with the "NO!" part. It's sort of funny because he'll say no to almost every question that you ask him. Another thing that's funny is that he imitates those people who flag races. He even says "Ready, Set, GOOO!" It's one of the cutest things, you've just got to see it. Oh and I thought that I'd mention something about the way he sleeps. When he sleeps he tends to move alot and sometimes when I wake up in the middle of the night I'll see him laying down near my feet or sometimes I'll see him laying down right above my head. Just this morning I got scared. I got up early (like around 3:30am) to help my husband find something and when I looked in the bed to see how my little boy was doing I didn't see him! I got scared and looked around the bed and even at the foot of the bed and didn't see him. I lifted up my blanket and there he was fast asleep. Gosh, that scared me. Anyways, I think that's about it... oh, and might I add... I've still got no luck on potty training. Got any tips for me? (comment/scream below)

Ok I've done it again.... I've neglected to add an entry for like the longest time. I've blogged about me and Jordan but not here at Mommy Screams!. I blogged at Mommys Online Group Blog (MOGB). I was planning on reposting my entry from MOGB but the owner switched from greymatter to b2 and the archives were lost. However, I will from now on repost any entries from MOGB to here. Here is an entry that I posted at MOGB:
[originally posted on March 23, 2003] Growin' up fast! Lately I've been seeing less of my boy. Just this past weekend I've spent most of my time with him and I just noticed how big he's getting. He's now 19 months old and does things that I never knew that he could do. Either I just baby him too much or he's just grown sooooo much. My little niece, whose around the same age and my boy, came down for the weekend and she's grown so much as well as my boy. Seeing my niece and my boy and how much they've grown makes me feel old. Time goes by so fast! Doesn't it!?
As for an up-to-date on life, Jordan talks so much more than ever. He'll talk to you and make conversation. He'll say real words and some baby words. Some words that he can clearly pronounce are: please, thank you, me, no, mommy, daddy, basketball, uhhh and some other words. I can't think of all the words he can clearly say at this moment, but I can say this about his vocabulary... it's growing each and every day. I'll ask him to pronounce a word and he'll try his best to try and say it too. He's almost 2 and I can't believe it! He's not my little baby anymore, he's my little boy. His behavior has also changed a bit, he's more agressive and is into all the "boys" stuff. He likes watching Nascar races (cars), watching basketball, playing with toy cars, playing basketball, playing catch, playing games like hide-and-seek and running/racing, and just causing trouble. I've also got him away from using a bottle. The only times he uses a bottle is when he's with the babysitter, other than that he doesn't use a bottle anymore. As for potty training, I'm getting nowhere. But then again, I don't want to rush him if he's not ready. I'll be patient and let him decide when he's ready. As for an overall experience as a mommy I would say that it's a lot of fun and a learning process. Don't get me wrong but it's also a lot of hard work, time, and dedication. Especially since I'm so busy with school it's hard managing school and a baby.

I hardly have time to study and finish assignments, but somehow I manage. I wouldn't change anything in my life!!
