~ Wonderful Summer Bliss ~
Summer flicks kick!

Recieved another virus today, and it's still from the same person. I don't know what the hell I did to tick this guy off, but I have the feeling he (or she) is checking on my blog. So, if you're reading this, I have one thing to say to you. Actually, I have more than one thing to say, but I don't want to waste space.

Leave me the fuck ALONE.

If you have a problem with me, talk it out like a NORMAL person. DON'T try to crash my computer with your stupid viruses. Alright?

Just came back from taking my Senior photos... must say I looked Hella Good. ^.^ The photographer was wierd though. I have really dark hair, and yet he kept putting me in the shadows and stuff. But don't worry, there was one shot that looked excelent. So its all good. I still haven't thought of the perfect quote for the yearbook, but now that I have my picture it should be easier to find one that will match with it.

I can't believe I only have 5 days left of Summer. 4 if you don't count today, but who wouldn't? The day is still young. We went clothes shopping yesterday, got a lot of nice skirts and tops. We'll probably go supply shopping later this week. I need more notebooks and new binders. ::sigh:: This is going to be a very busy week.

oh, yeah. Some loser sent me another virus, but I LAUGH at thier pathetic-ness. You can't bring ME down!

I saw John Q tonight. It was a magnificent movie; I'm really glad I got to see it. And it's true about the doctors & surgery, you know. Isn't that sad? The whole world is becoming corrupted and only the rich survive. Although, I guess it's always been like that. It's just getting really noticable lately. Mah... :(

On Thursday I got my braces off after over two years of having them. My teeth look much nicer and straighter now, but it's weird. When I look in the mirror I'm thinking 'Those aren't my teeth! Where's the silver?' I'm still getting use to it. I'm really glad to have them off though, it's SOO much easier to brush my teeth now. Plus, with them off I can eat candy by the truckload. But I'm trying not to. I have my Senior pictures taken on the 31st, so I'm being extra careful to keep my face nice and clear.

I meant to write a few days ago, but with FanFiction.net up and full of new stories... well, you know. How can I resist?

Well, I figured that since I haven't written in the longest time, I thought I'd stop by. Still nothing new for my website... sue me. I *am* working on a story, but its coming along rather slowly. I guess you can say I don't know how to handle too much free time. Lol, I should have gotten that summer job. But I didn't, so I've pretty much been living down at Neopets.com. But can you blame me? The site kicks. Except for when pathetic losers try sending you viruses through e-mail because they can't take what they dish out. But I won't let it bother me, because just like that dude on tv said, "Satan! You ain't stealin' my Joy, so >:P!!!". Okay, so that wasn't exactly how he said it, but you get my point.

Anyway, moving on. I only have a few weeks left of this blessing/curse of a long summer, which means it's time to start my summer homework! (.-_-.) lovely. I am however looking forward to my last year of school. I plan to make it a good year, since ya know, it's my last. Unless you count college, but I'm not there yet, so it doesn't count. I have to make this year memorable. So I should probably start on the good side and have all my summer work completed before the first day of class. Meh, it shouldn't be too hard. Plus, whenever I have to do work, I almost always get inspired for a story or something. Hmmm, this could be just what I need. :)

I just saw The Iron Giant for the very first time. Okay, well maybe not just now... Cartoon Network has been playing the movie non-stop for the past 24 hours. Fine, it wasn't non-stop. They stopped for commercials, but almost ALL of the commercials had *something* to do with the PowerPuff Girls and/or their new movie. But we're losing the point of me telling you this. Anyway, I saw the Iron Giant maybe 7 times or so (I fell asleep around 1 am last night, so I probably missed maybe 3 or 4 showings of the film), and I still can't get enough of that movie! I MUST see it again! I MUST!! In short, I *really* liked that film. And I mean *really* really liked it. It was great. I love it. I want to run to the store and buy the DVD right this very second. Even though it's the middle of the night, I barely have $10 at the moment, no possible ride to the store at all, and no real knowing if they have the DVD at all, or even if they're open! But I still feel like running to the store. I can't fight the urge... I have to see that movie again!! -_-;;;

I know what you're thinking. "Jade, CHILL OUT! Just order the damn thing off of Amazon and you'll get it next week." But you see, in my sudden fanatic fanatic-ness of the film, I went online and did some major review & rumor readings. Guess what I found out? Turns out that WB is going to have a Special Edition made for this great film, and it will include commentary from the cast, and deleted scenes including one of the Giant's dream, hinting to where he came from! 0_0!!! I want to get that Special Edition! Well, I did some more searching, and most of the places said it was to come out in 2001, but WB wasn't saying anything official about it AT ALL. :( Total bummer. But, I just found out from a recent news brief at www.toonzone.net that the Special Edition for the Iron Giant should be coming out before 2003. I'm guessing either before and maybe right around Christmas. I know, it's such a long time away! Maybe... 4 or 5 months from now! Noooooo!!! :*( I want to own the movie now, but I'd rather have the Special Edition than the regular one (WAY more bonus stuff about the movie in the new edition), so I guess I'll have to wait. sigh.

Now that I have that entire Iron Giant fanatic-stuff out of my system (well mostly), I'll move on to a new subject: Fourth of July. Our country's Independence Day, and also known for the fireworks show all across the nation. Or so they thought. Yesterday, the paper ran a small article that said that Hawaii passed a new law, saying that no one could light off fireworks (not the big kind, but your regular, run-of-the-mill, made for home use) without paying a $25 permit. Those who failed to buy the permit and light off fireworks anyway would be forced to pay a $500 fee. And they make no mention of where the money would be going, or what it would be used for. A FIVE-HOUNDRED DOLLAR FEE FOR LIGHTING OFF A FRICKIN' SPARKLER!!! GROAR!! >:[ I swear, our government has gone insane. So, because we refuse to pay the flipping $25 so we can EXPRESS our celebration of our NATION'S FREEEDOM, we returned our newly-bought fireworks and yelled in rage about how this is just another reason why Hawaii sucks eggs.

Well, today in the paper, there was another article about how the one yesterday was put in by the Police and that it was not true at all. **narrows eyes** This just proves (once again) how incompetent our officials are, and now, that the police are morons who are --dare I say?-- are acting totally un-American. Just another reason why to leave as soon as possible, as Mom is always saying. I can't wait for the day where we kiss this stupid rock good-bye!

Great, now I'm pissed off. And, since there's no good movie on right now to take my mind off of the fireworks thing, I'm going to have to sit and stew until my frustration fades away. Damn it! Where's a copy of the Iron Giant when you need it?! ...lol. Okay, I guess that's all for now.

Happy Independence Day, everyone! Enjoy your fireworks show and all that other fun stuff that you people on the Mainland must enjoy every year! (tries to hide a sob) I'll join ye one day!!

Yes! My hard Neopets work finally paid off -- I now am the proud owner of a Baby Aisha!! Yay! FiyonaMay (the name of my lucky pet) is sooooooo cute! Since you can't see her page if your not a Neopets member, I'll just put her pic below. :)
I am the Super Cute Kitty!
Isn't she adorable? I'm so proud!! (Hence the major gloating). ^__^

I saw Lilo & Stitch yesterday. It was very well done, which is praise that Disney usually never deserves. Or, at least from me anyways. It had a nice plot and the watercolor backgrounds *really* did look like authentic Hawaiian landscapes. I should know. Anyway, they did a good job on the movie, unlike MOST of their movies that they spit out twice a year. bleh.

Moving on, I thought I'd let all of you people who visit my website know that I STILL have no new content. awwww.... I'm sorry. I am however working on a story and pic for Neopets, so maybe if I ever finish it I'll add it to Jade*Island. How's that?

**Sudden Realization** I have only one more month of Summer Vacation! NOOOOOO!!! That means I'll have to start working on my English class summer homework. Crap! **sigh** I seriously need to start working on my Time Management ... management thing. heh. ^_^;

Hmm, I kinda forgot I had one of these. Oh well. I saw Minority Report last Sunday. It was good. Although, I still can't wait to see the PowerPuff Girls, Men in Black 2, Master of Disguise, Mr. Deeds, and... Lilo & Stitch. -_-; Since the movie is based in Hawaii, I suppose I *have* to see it and make sure they represented us justly. ...Yeah. Anyway, nothing very exciting is happening. My summer vacation is slowly slipping through my fingers, and I can't seem to accomplish anything worthy of praise. Every single day feels like a Saturday afternoon. Do you know what I do on saturday afternoons? I go on Neopets. So guess what that means! You got it. I've been going on to that blasted site every day and playing those annoying games to save up to buy a baby paint brush for my Aisha. Ugh. I am so sick of playing the same games over and over and over. But yet I must, because it's the fastest way to earn the most np. bleh.

Speaking of sites, Fanfiction.net is back online, but there haven't been any good Spider-Man stories yet. darn. Speaking of other sites, like mine, I still haven't done anything. Seriously, I haven't worked on any stories, or art, or anything. NOTHING!!! My God, what I would give for a vacation from my vacation.

Speaking of God, have you heard? At least all you in America probably have. Anyway, the Feds are saying that the Pledge of Alligence is unconstitutional because of the phrase 'one nation, under God'. How stupid is that?! It's not unconstitutional! Our Founding Fathers came to America and started this country so that they would be able to celebrate and practice thier religion in peace, and that religion involved God! God is a big part in America! Trying to take God out of America is like trying to rid the blue in the Red, White and Blue. You can't do it!!! If people have a problem saying the Pledge of Alligence because of that one part, then just don't say it. No one is forcing them too, after all, it's a FREE COUNTRY! They shouldn't go around trying to change how the Country opperates, just because they feel "uncomfortable" saying 'under God'. What's next? Are they going to try change the currency too? Are they going to go to the Supreme Court and ask if all the coins and doller bills can be changed so that they no longer say "In God We Trust"? Then what? Are they going to take out Christmas as well?!?!! **fumes and continues to rant, but doesn't have the energy to type it all out. In fact, if it was all typed out, many people who don't believe in God would be thoroughly insulted and want to write mean letters. But since I wouldn't give a crap, more rude & insulting words would be said. The shouting-fest would never end. Therefore, it's better to just say that I fumed and ranted, but didn't type it all out.**

Fri. June 21, 2002 @ 3:40 a.m.

Well here it is, my brand-new, July-slap-happy, Summer layout. You like...? I sure do. It represents the most of my summer: The beach, Patriotism for America, and of course, the kick ass summer flicks. Even though I don't do much during the summer (especially if we don't travel), I still love my summer very very much. And that is why those things are the stars of this month's layout. HURRAY! ^_^;

**glances at a clock** Wow, it's really early! I can't remember the last time I stayed up this late. Hmmm, probably a few months ago. For the past few whiles, I've fallen dead asleep at around 12 am or at the latest 1:30 am. ha ha. **pauses** There is this weird cooing sound outside my room, as if there was a pigeon out there. It's kinda creepy. Especially since pigeons don't coo at night. Hmm.

Oh! Yes, before I completely forget and fall into the eerie phase of half-awakeness, I have great news! Or, at least all of you who know about Neopets.com will think its great news. Anyway, today, while using the Lab Ray on one of my accounts, it changed my pet into a Robot Blumaroo!! O_O!!! Omigod! This has never happened to me in my 14 & 1/2 months at Neopets. ~*^____^*~ I feel *so* lucky, I could go brag at all the chat boards! Actually, I probably would, but I'm too tired right now. Maybe later. ^.^ There is a problem though. The pet that got changed into a Robot Blumaroo, is a foster pet. So I'm not sure if I'll still put it back up adoption, or keep it. I haven't decided yet. =/

Um, I guess that's all for now. I'm very proud of my blog layout. Yee. I think I'm going to fall over dead asleep now.

Are you thankful for Summer?

I am Jade. Born & raised in the USA. I ♥ HTML, reading, writing, and family. I made this entire layout myself. You like? Thank you. Don't steal it. I do not own S-M & PPG. Duh.
