...This doesn't seem to be working. At all. Even the allure of icons isn't enough to bring me back into blogging more often. Which figures, since I've collected well over a hundred and twenty by now. I always do that... like a master of overkill or something like that. Anyway, I guess I'll stick around for one more layout and then that will be that. yay.
So, I saw Fantastic Four and K-PAX today. While FF had good CG and all, I didn't really care for it. Can't quite place what it was, but.. I kept thinking 'a year and a half until Spider-Man 3' ^-^; Eheh. K-PAX, on the other hand, was much more interesting. Especially after one point early in the movie when Prot (ye who believes himself to be an alien) mentions that there are actually 10 planets in our solar system. Perhaps you haven't heard the news about Sedna, but hearing him say that really made me do a doubletake. I mean, Sedna was first discovered back in October 2003 or something, while this movie came out in 2001. Meaning the script was worked on a few years earlier, and the book which it is based on by Gene Brewer came out even earlier, around 1995 I think. Spoooky. Especially since we were just talking about the planet a few days ago. There sure have been a lot of strange coincidences lately...
On the positive side though, I finally got Mom to play Tales of Symphonia. I feel proud. ^_^

Gee, it's about time I updated this place, ne? Even though I had lots to tell (and lots of movie reviews) for June, and even this really nice layout that I made back in March, I sort of fell into the "ugh, I'm so over blogging + stuff" phase. Again. Which is especially sad, since now that pretty layout most definitely does not fit the season, and I probably won't use it until September or next spring. -_-; That, and I don't feel like re-counting all of my movie rants, except that Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou was beautifully awesome. Including the soundtrack, which I still listen to at least once a week. ^_^;
So yeah, new layout (I actually made four, but decided on this one since it was the only one that kinda looked July-ish), and icons too. Thanks to LiveJournal, I've picked up a compulsive habit of collecting them, which sort of went into overdrive when I found out about the London bombings. When shit like that happens, my brain sort of... shuts down. Yeah, not a useful habit to have in times of emergencies. --; So, lacking the ability to do any actual work or intelligently focus on the news, I ended up doing a massive icon search for my favorite shows and adopted over a hundred. Since LJ will only let me use three icons at a time, I figured I'd just use 'em all here, because I can. Yay.
.....I guess that's it then. No, actually, there's still a lot left to tell, especially stuff that doesn't make me sound so damn self-absorbed. But it's getting rather late and it's still somewhat weird to be writing here again. I'll probably return later, but for now I'll just mini-promote Beyond Good & Evil, which is truly one of the best games ever. Despite the slightly weird title. I fully recommend it though, in fact, I downright demand that you play it. Because it is just that awesome.
