4:43 p.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2001 'one ring to bind them all...' Tolkein was a master storyteller. i just got the slipcovered complete Lord of the Rings (well, am about to get as it was damaged and we had to exchange it...), and am scurrying off to get the edition of The Hobbit with the woodcut illustrations on the cover - you know, the ones done all in black and blue and bright green? - to read before, in order to do the thing properly. 4:18 p.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2001 a romp thru the alphabet oh, this you *have* to see. it's an abecedary - Bembo's Zoo is populated with a whimsical assortment of critters. you do need flash to properly appreciate it. what? you don't have flash? oh, just go get it... you'll be glad you did. 4:12 p.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2001 a spark of the divine there are some beautiful works on display over at the Episcopal Church and Visual Arts site. one small quilt inspired by Matisse particularly caught my eye. 4:11 p.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2001 Pennsylvania 6500 oh, it made me laugh... mr. p actually got a cell phone. imagine that! 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2001 need a little diversion? then try out this site. very funny guy. a twisted take on the life and times of a temp. the toy review? perfect. |
