Bishy of the moment: Sesshoumaru. Because he's cold. And I like that o.o

Quote of the moment: "I have no right to know. I don’t have a method of stepping into the depths of your heart without getting it dirty. So I’ll wait. When you want to talk – when you think it’s okay to talk . . . Talk to me."
-Rukia, Bleach

Song of the moment: "Idioteque" by Radiohead. Lovely dissonant piece with a steady beat and half-understood vocals.

Obsession(s) of the moment: Gunslinger Girl. Disturbing, and yet refreshing, since I have never before dipped into the assassin school girl genre. We are children. We kill people. It doesn't faze us a bit.

Goddess of Winter

Pseudo-Elf Princess Speaks:

Wednesday, January 21, 2004 10:14 p.m.

Since my last entry concerned homecoming, I'm going to refer to that on LJ and put up quizzes here. And we have some fun ones *tries to make evil face* >: } *fails miserably* Eto . . . anyway ^^;

Walter
you are walter...

Which Hellsing Character Are You?

The only reason I’m posting this quiz is because one of the answers to a question was "I wear a monocle ::sparkle sparkle::" *snickers*

You are a Victim at Random
You will be killed randomly.

Yami no Matsuei: What way would Muraki murder you?
brought to you by Quizilla

Hmm . . . this quiz is REALLY messed up (in a perverted way . . .)

Dark...and Handsome
Mysterious

What Bishounen stereotype do you love?
brought to you by Quizilla

*laughs* I’ll warn you, though. The last question on this quiz is . . . O_O Gah.

tohma
You are Seguchi Tohma, the once keyboardist of
Nittle Grasper and now shachou of NG records.
You're known for your kawaii, sweet smile, but
also known as a powerful figure. You are able
to manipulate whoever you please to get what
you want, and have no problem at all with
committing violent acts if it benefits you

~*~Which Gravitation Character Are You?~*~
brought to you by Quizilla

Tohma . . . that's . . . different . . . *blink blink* *realizes she has no idea what to feel about this* Jen, can I borrow Gravi this weekend?? *heh*

you are lightcyan
#E0FFFF

Your dominant hues are green and blue. You're smart and you know it, and want to use your power to help people and relate to others. Even though you tend to battle with yourself, you solve other people's conflicts well.

Your saturation level is very low - you have better things to do than jump headfirst into every little project. You make sure your actions are going to really accomplish something before you start because you hate wasting energy making everyone else think you're working.

Your outlook on life is very bright. You are sunny and optimistic about life and others find it very encouraging, but remember to tone it down if you sense irritation.
the spacefem.com html color quiz

^^; Yep, I'm smart and I really hate wasting time (though my idea of "wasted time" is a bit different from the, er, conventional *heh*). I don't know about the "sunny and optimistic" part though . . . o.o

Um, so there you have it. *heh* If you're reaaaaaaally bored, head on over to my LJ. That entry will be . . . more boring -_-;; Peace out : P

Got back from dress-shopping about a half hour ago.

. . .

I really hate shopping for things other than anime/manga. Because clothing stores are dry, my eyes get irritated and I often get headaches, and if I find something I really like, it's never in the right size (and I rarely find something I really like) or costs way too much, and I'm not about to spend lots of money on something I probably won't wear more than once (even though my mom pays for them since it's clothing-- I would still feel guilty and wasteful). But I have two dresses I relatively like (one is either going to get returned or worn to Jr/Sr. banquet) and a Hamtaro calendar, which is the only thing that will definitely not be returned (because I have no calendar for 2004 and it's disgustingly cute and it was cheap) .

. . .

Okay. Now I'm going to try on the dresses again and watch some anime to recover my sanity. Peace out : P

Poor pitas. So neglected *huggles pitas site*

Just for fun (-_-;;) Here's my exam schedule *heart*:

Wednesday:

1st period - U.S. History (Zandstra)
2nd period - Honors Physics (VanEk) VOUCH!!

Thursday:

1st period - Spanish I (Scott)
2nd period - Bible III (White)
3rd period - Honors English (Dykstra)

Friday:

1st period - Journalism (Frau) - DEADLINE *dies*
2nd period - Pre-Calc (Leistra)
*you know, I've always wondered how exactly it's spelled. Is it Precalc, PreCalc, Pre Calc, or Pre-Calc??*

Um, yes, this will be a very fun week. I probably won't do any more pitas entries (unless I'm really procrastinating), but no doubt LJ will get updated sooner or later (because it's my favorite site-child ^^). If you're really procrastinating like I am, go check out my profile. Hopefully at that point I'll have updated it . . . ^^; Peace out : P

It was grainy and without sound, but my viewing of the first episode of Hana Yori Dango (Boys over Flowers) confirmed my suspicions of this shoujo series. It is definitely something I'd like to purchase in the future (though probably not for a while, considering).

Here's a summary: Tsukushi worked very hard to get into a high class high school. She doesn't like the lack of friendliness among the students, who often judge by how much money one has than who they are, but she has reasons for staying there (something having to do with her home and parents), and her one wish is to get through the rest of her high school career unnoticed. This desire gets turned on its head when Tsukushi's only friend at the school trips down some stairs and accidently falls on Doumyouji Tsukasa, one of the members of the rich boy clique F4 (the four flowery students) whose speciality is intimidation and cruelty to those who don't deserve it. As Tsukushi's friend apologizes profusely, Tsukasa ignores her, saying, "Don't say anything more. You know what's going to happen." Tsukushi can't stay silent, especially just after telling her friend that they were real friends, and she tells the F4 off before she even realizes what she's doing. So much for not standing out.

In spite of their bad behavior, the F4 are respected and obeyed by nearly all of the school. They leave a red piece of cloth, a declaration of war, in Tsukushi's locker. Immediately, Tsukushi is ostracized by her classmates. Her desk is stolen, she gets raw eggs thrown at her, and she is nearly molested by some boys--who are stopped by Rui, a member of F4 who just might be different. He claims he just doesn't "like things like that," but Tsukushi is heartened anyway.

The next day, she returns with a vengeance. When students try to throw eggs at her, she blocks it with a racket/flyswatter thing. Then she throws a baseball at them and flicks them off ^^; At that moment she sees the F4 walking past the classroom she is in. She lets her hair hang loose from her braids and steps outside the classroom. They turn around. *cackles* What happens next is just LOVELY. Tsukushi jump-kicks Tsukasa in the face, calls him a wuss, tells him if he keeps up what he's doing she's going to kick his ass, and sticks that red piece of fabric that was their declaration of war to her on Tsukasa's forehead. "That's my little declaration of war!" The episode ends with Tsukushi somberly reflecting on what she's done, and what'll be done to her for her actions. Then, she concludes, "But still . . . this feels great! YEAH! *surrounded by shoujo roses*"

*giggles* Yes, I was looking for this one on purpose. I've heard a lot of good things about it, and my biggest problem with it is the old, dull-ish animation, which I can handle since I've dealt with worse. Tsukushi seems a lively heroine thus far, and the other members of the cast were intriguing enough to make me want to learn more about them. Time for some research! Maybe someday I'll even get past the first episode . . . -_-;; Peace out : P

Updateage. Wah! 6_9 It's already 9 p.m.! Homework!! *dies*

I feel I should say something more . . . um . . . *blinks*
Peace out : P

Monday, January 5, 2004 08:56 p.m.

Still doing English.

Haven't even started my other stuff.

This is exactly why I'm a baka.

Bah-ness.

Peace out -_-

Saturday, January 3, 2004 08:00 p.m.

Woo-hoo! 8 o'clock, on the dot. I'm planning to write in my LJ, so I don't think I'll spend much time on this entry.

Um . . . I updated my profile section *not that I don't do that all the time* *not that anyone cares anyway* and I read a lot of Count Cain. x.x More than I should have, probably. I'm hooked, I think. It and Ludwig Kakuen share a lot in common. I mean, they are by the same manga-ka, but still. *heh* Anyways, that's all for here. Peace out : P

Thursday, January 1, 2004 08:32 p.m.

Um, woo-hoo, happy new year.

I have the feeling I should feel sleepy and hang-over-ish, but I don't. I just feel . . . like I don't want to go back to school in four days. I've gotten myself out of that 'normal routine,' and I'd rather not put myself back in it. But such is life. Here are some quizzes:

Side Character
Which Wolf's Rain Character are you?

brought to you by Quizilla

YAY. I like Hubb and Cher . . . (by the way, this quiz wasn't that great, either).

yuki
You're Yuki - the mouse.

Which Fruits Basket Character Are You?
brought to you by Quizilla

Meh. I guess I am like Yuki . . . not that I don't like Yuki (I do!), they just don't have many characters to choose from-- not even Hatsuharu-kun!! *whinge*

Um . . . that's all. I simply don't have much to say. Oh, wait, I re-watched eps. 5-8 of Scrapped Princess. I already remembered the funny scene between Chris and the baroness when Winia sent him a letter, but I must not have noticed the girls from his squad grinning in at him through the windows, looking for all the world like fangirls. Because it got a giggle out of me. That and the baroness's comments about how it was a simple thank-you letter, but she was sure there was much more to it than that *wink wink* . . . I really have to show you guys Scrapped, don't I? >_<

Anyway, that's all. The end. Peace out : P

Sunday, December 28, 2003 07:53 p.m.

I really don't have a reason to post. I just like bugging everyone. *blinks* *moment of silence* Listen to my profound words of wisdom: *reaches into pockets* Darn it, I know they're here somewhere . . . *pulls out crumpled piece of paper* Here we go ^^ Words of wisdom:

"Sushi."
--Akito Hayama, Kodocha

^^;; There you have it. Oh, wait, first, a quiz!

i'm noriko ukai!
which member of nittle grasper are you? click here!

Got it without trying. I knew it. If Jen's Ryuichi and Traci's Tohma . . . I already guessed I would be Noriko. ^^ That and I AM like her. 9_9 Or, at least, we're both bitchy . . .

Um, now that's all ^^;; Peace out : P

Friday, December 26, 2003 09:55 p.m.

Though no one else even know what "Shingetsutan Tsukihime" is, I feel like I would be breaking tradition if I didn't offer thoughts on the last episode, now that I've seen it. So you all have no need of reading past this line ^^;

Well. What can I say? At least it ended difinitively. No wishy-washy wondering. It's over. All questions up to this point have been more-or-less answered, so at least in that it was satisfactory. But Shiki/Roa's proclaimation sums it up best: "That sure was anticlimatic."

Then again, I suppose that the ending wasn't any slower a pace than the rest of the show, so it fit, in a way. But those last few moments? Um, okay?? I guess Shiki decided to move on with his life. Or something. But I thought that she meant more to him than . . . whatever. I suppose since he started out with killing her and didn't feel too bad about it, this shouldn't bother him so much, either. *sighs* The characters just felt a little bit flat . . . maybe they were always that way and I just didn't notice it? Oh, well, now it's over and done with, and I don't need to think about it anymore. So there.

*blinks* Peace out : P

Thursday, December 25, 2003 02:34 p.m.

Merry Christmas, everyone.

New layout, which I do so abhor. I spent a lot of time on the useless things of it, so I kind of got sick of it. But it's up, and I'm leaving it ^^;

Um . . . still haven't gotten past episode 1 of RahXephon. Maybe I'll do that now. It's not that I don't want to watch it, just not where/when my family is clustered around me. So . . . yeah. That's all. Have a merry Christmas, minna-san!

Tuesday, December 23, 2003 10:06 p.m.

I do so adore Scrapped Princess.

After repeatedly reminding myself how much space it is taking up on my hard drive, I finally committed myself to burning the series onto disk and deleting it from my computer. As I'm paranoid and overprotective (particularly of the series which in my heart is eclipsed only by Escaflowne), in order for me to actually remove the files, I have to watch their cd-burned counterparts completely to be sure that they are in perfect working order (not that I don't plan on buying it if/when it hopefully comes out). So I began this task today, watching the first four episodes.

. . . and I fell in love all over again.

Even from these four episodes, it obvious how big the story and characters are. So many layers exist beneath the surface, and there is thought put into each glance and nodd and moment of silence. And the animation . . . I suppose I make a bigger deal out of it than I should, but at times it is just so gorgeous . . . like the fight in the glass gorge in episode four . . . though I'm predisposed to loving it since three and four are my pet Chris and Winia 'shipping episodes, but really, with all of the sparkliness against the starry sky . . . *_*

Okay, enough Scrapped ranting (this is one show I just wish somebody would go and liscense . . . I would LOVE to see it in crisp, digital quality ^^). It's already overrun bishie, quote, and song of the moment. I put a new link up, for the webcomic "The Place InBetween." I just joined the LJ community for it, so I figured I should have a link somewhere. It's pretty good stuff, so check it out ^_~

Um . . . Praise Scrapped, acknowledge new link . . . I think that's about all, as long as you have also read my LJ . . . yes, it is imperative to read both to know all the intimate details of my life o.o no, not really. I don't say everything by a long shot. Then these entries would be a million times longer. I just do so love talking about myself *NARCISSIST!!* But, alas, I can't take up too much of your precious time. ^_~ Peace out : P

I realized it was time for an archive, so now my page is fresh and clean. Some quizzes to celebrate:
