Searchable saints
I can't find St. Aldegard, the patron saint of those suffering from lung diseases, but this list seems otherwise comprehensive.
Organism of the moment
The clam worm. Also known as sand worm, annelid, and Nereis spp. Humble, yet scary. You find them curled amongst rocks and... well, clams, on sandy/pebbly beaches, about six inches deep. They're iridescent, and I like any animal that's iridescent. Including pigeons. And mallard ducks.
They also evert their mouthparts violently, which makes you glad they're not 10 feet long.

A fresh new alternative to pork
"I know genetically-modified (GM) food has met poor public acceptance, but I hope safety tests will be conducted to make people feel like eating (the new type of pork) for the sake of their health," the professor said.
