Do forgive my blog. It is currently being wonky. I do not know why. I did nothing to the left side yet it has felt the need to space itself out. This is starting to get rather tiresome. I better come up with a new layout and soon!!!
Thursday, August 8, 2002 @ 02:40 p.m.
Jason's my hero! He brought me food! YIPPIE!

I'm sad tho. My poor tagboard's down until further notice. ):

I wanted to do a Emmett layout - from Queer as Folk (I like him - he's a spaz) but I'm having trouble finding piccies. I want cute queenie pics of him.

Oh fuckernoodle. I just spilled mustard all over my shirt. Damnfangit.

This is very stream of thought. Forgive me. I can't wait until Big Brother two tonight!!! I really wanna know a) the "secret" b) who gets booted and c) who wins HOH. Thursday night are by far the best. Maybe I should scope out the live feeds...

Well, well. I am now offcially 22 and my birthday has come and gone. *whew*

Yesterday was pretty nice. After I spent most of the day being depressed I wised up and enjoyed the remainder of my birthday. Once Fu got home I got presents! Phallic playdough, LOTR: the dvd! YAY! and a cool bookmark, a tute children's book about friends, HP4-softback! YAY! I now have all four! Then we went to Applebees. I ate too much and felt icky afterwards, but it was quite enjoyable nonetheless. Then we saw the Bourne Identity - the kinda movie that is not bad, not good, just there.

Today has been hazy. I slept for most of it. I've had a perpetual headache lately. I know there's all this crap on my to do list but I don't feel the need to move. It's quite bad, actually. *beep* On the other hand I'm excited cuz Im goin' to my friend's house for dinner!!!

Fu and I have been also watching a lot of Queer as Folk lately, thanks to Emrys! (: It's quite good and the best part is Jason's reaction when he walks in the room. Hehe. I'm mean.

Friday Five

1. What is your lineage? Where are your ancestors from? My grandma on my dad's side always said I was "mixed up enough to be American". I basically have a little of everything. My mom's side is mostly Canadian and Irish.

2. Of those countries, which would you most like to visit? Ireland, yeah. It's pirty. I'd actually love to go all over Europe. Altho Canada is much easier to visit.

3. Which would you least like to visit? Why? I've never been anywhere but a couple states in the US and Canada so anything looks good.

4. Do you do anything during the year to celebrate or recognize your heritage? My heritage, no. My family however is very family oriented so we do have a lot of family events.

5. Who were the first ancestors to move to your present country (parents, grandparents, etc)? Frankly, I have no clue. I know some of my ancestors that came here from Ireland and "almost" took the Titanic (good thing they didn't, eh). That's about all I know!

Keep having weird dreams.....
9 times out of 10 I'm being chased down by someone that wants to kill me for something I've done. Usually it's along the lines of living in a society with strict, stupid rules and I decided to lead some sort of rebellion. It usually involves magic, ghosts, and other odd things. Last night it involved a lot of baloons *Shrugs* we dont ask.

I've also had recurring portapotty dreams. The night before last I wasn't allowed to pee because I was Protestant. Strange discrimination....

Thought of the day: If I was skinny and pretty the first thing I would do is go to a nudist colony. Clothing sucks.

Other thought of the day: I really want to design a new blog layout but for the life of me I cant seem to design anything lately. I go thru stages, ya know? I guess while I'm in my downtime I'll go do something else...ugga ugga
Saturday, August 31, 2002 @ 04:00 p.m.
I have a lot I want to design...a lot I have to design...and yet I'm not in a designing mood. Ugga.
Saturday, August 31, 2002 @ 03:49 p.m.
Know what's pissing me off...the random spacing! ARGH.

Yes, I know it's Wednesday. I'm catching up. (:

Seven on Sunday
Seven Things You've Done Once and Never Want to Do Again:
1. Order shoes online (they didn't fit cuz I have abnormal feet - I should have known that was stupid)
2. Fall in love with someone over the internet (because it was stupid and I lucked out and I have already found my fiance this way so I obviously never want to do it again cuz I don't haveta)
3. Watch "The Nutty Professor" - I dislike that brand of humor
4. Eat Cobb Salad (blue chese , icky)
5. Go to college
6. Pet a snake
7. perm my hair

List all the beasts, characters, and creatures you were on Halloween:
I'm trying to remember...it's hard!
- A gypsy
- The Queen of Hearts
- A clown
- Cheshire Cat
- Dancer (just wore my dance recital outfit!)
- Leopard
- A cheerleader
- A hippy
- A pumpkin

Topical Tuesday

List all the Activities You'd Do If You Weren't so Afraid : I actually am boring and can't answer this question. I am afraid of an awful lot and therefore it would be rather hard to answer. The things causing the fear (lack of self-confidence, my looks, my stupidity, my shyness, etc) won't allow me to even imagine doing them so....I plead the fifth.
Tuesday, July 30, 2002 @ 02:16 p.m.
I have a lot on the good ol' to do list today. Which is ok, because I'm feeling strangely good. Maybe cuz we got a little air conditioner for our bedroom so I can actually sleep at night now? I also got new shoes! A definate plus. I went and grabbed a little food from the store too and that's good cuz we have like nothin' here! Wow. Isn't that exciting info?

So...I'm totally bummed that Marcellus and Amy are on the choppin' block in BB3 this week. I have a feeling that they won't get vetoed either. I like them both!! If I had to pick one to go it would be Amy tho. I so couldn't handle being stuck in a house with her! Eep. I feel bad for Marcellus tho - his lovepuppy put him up for eviction!
Sunday, July 28, 2002 @ 05:26 a.m.
Aw, man. I've been a zombie this weekend. I've had even less energy than usual. Morning shifts suck. Especially when you keep accidentally getting used to staying up really late! My entire system is wonky. I just hope that I can stay awake for my shift this morning. The hardest part is from 7:00-11:00 because that's when chores are done and relatively few customers come. Nodding off is a little too easy. Ugga Ugga.

On the plus side I'm extremely excited that those miners were rescued. I was rather worried about them and kept praying. Hmm....some times there are happy endings. Thank goodness for small miracles! I know I'm corny, but so be it.

I should probably go. I only have fifteen minutes to get to work. Which is plenty Sunday morning at 5:30 but that's not the point. I have to brush my teethie pooies still too. LALLA. Have a day!
Friday, July 26, 2002 @ 07:11 p.m.
I'd just like to share that I am utterly and completely bummed. I'm just in a foul mood over several little things that adds up to bummedness. No need to elaborate. You don't care. You just need to know I'm bummed cuz then I can go on with my bummed state and you can go on with being unbummed or maybe you to are bummed. What if a bummed bum batted your bumhole? This is getting out of hand.
Friday, July 26, 2002 @ 12:36 a.m.
Friday Five

1. How long have you had a weblog? Since Sunday, May 20, 2001 at 10:07 p.m.

2. What was your first post about? First post: (and I quote) "Today I finally started a blog. Be proud. *beams*"

3. How many changes (name, location, etc.) of your weblog have there been, if more than one? It's always been at pitas and always called Color Outside the Lines (but different version names, of course).

4. What CMS (content management system) do you use? Do you like it or do you want to try something else? Pitas is my friend

5. Do you read people who have both a journal and a weblog? Or do you prefer to read people who have all of their writing in one central place? Um. Whatever. Doesn't make a diff?
Thursday, July 25, 2002 @ 07:04 p.m.
Something even scarier - I was examining different parts of the old site mentioned below when geocities cut me off because "this site has exceeded it's allocated data transfer!" You've GOT to be kidding me...*sweatdrop*...
Thursday, July 25, 2002 @ 06:56 p.m.
I'm scared. All of my other old pages have been shut down and yet Senshi Soup still lives on. AHHHHH! (LOL). I gotta update that one day....

I am even more frightened (once I get past the horrid layout and my distrubing editing of images - especially Venus). What is this about? or this? What was I smoking and where is it now???

TOPICAL TUESDAY

List all the qualities you love about being human

I've thought long and hard about this. I'm not sure my answers are that great but the biggest problem is figuring out human compared to what and what makes us "different." I believe a lot of traits humans have ARE actually shared by those in the animal kingdom although I am proofless.

- One plus is our names. Although sometimes horrid human names aren't usually things like Fluffy, Fido, or Scooter.
- Ability to eat using utensils. A definate downfall to being an animal would be having to use your mouth to eat and drink everything
- Ability to use the internet
- Sex : I believe just dolphins and humans are the only species to actually ENJOY sex...
- Doctor vs. Vet : not to mention the ability to take shots and vitamins thru the mouth rather than the ass...and no fear of spade/neutering
- Can drive a car!
- Ability to paint fingernails
- Being in the species that dominates the Earth

On the other hand....I find myself reminded of often dreaming of being a dog or cat when I was younger because of these reasons :
- if you live with a good family all you do is eat, sleep, play, and be pampered
- dont have to go to school
- dont have to go to church
- dont have to wear clothing
- dont have to take as much responsiblity for actions

Then I have the issues where I wonder if it's better to be animal or human....
- freedom : Who has the most freedom? Animals don't have to deal with peer pressure (or Brittany Spears...)
- emotions : Do animals and humans share emotions? I think so...
- toilets : Is it better to be able to use the toilet or better to be able to crap wherever and whenever you feel the urge (to think of it you could say the same about sex...)
Wednesday, July 24, 2002 @ 07:17 p.m.
The heat has rendered me utterly useless. Ugghhhh. I can't seem to function.

I did manage to get some tiny errends done. One involved me going to the 99 cents store. I love that place. Maybe it's cuz everything's so cheap or mabye it's cuz my parents never let me go in one.....? Anyways, I found this perfectly lovely little stationary pad which contains the following phrases (I'm sharing because it's so pirty - there are NO typos this is exactly how the wording on the stationary appears).
- GOOD LUCK: Whis is a friend? Asingle sound dwelling in two bodies
- Happy Every Day : Silences make the real conversations between friend. not the saying but the never needing to say is what counts
- Our friendship as a tree what has
- My love my life and me I'll be your everything now that we're together at last I guess that I've been blessed I'll be your love
- Thinking fo you

Enough of that - I've got too much crap to do.... BTW : I'm still thinking up answers for Topical Tuesday....they're coming....someday...

Seven Movie Lines You'll Always Remember: note all are rather short, I don't have a good memory! LOL!

- "You mocked me once - never do it again - I died that Day" ~ The Princess Bride

- "Get out of my facial" ~ Buffy the Vampire Slayer

- "Popo! BANGARANG!" ~ Hook

- "Snootchi Bootchies!" ~ Every Kevin Smith Movie...

- *still trying to think of the next three....to be continued....*
Friday, July 19, 2002 @ 01:21 a.m.
I'm pondering ever so quietly. I'm hot. Blah. And yet I ponder. *ponder* I think I need a new layout. I've fallen out of love with this one. I think I need one cooler (color wise, I mean - nothing's cooler than RYAN!!!). When I look at this layout it just makes me feel hotter (in more ways than one) and it's not exactly good. Hmm....*goes back to quiet ponderings*...
Friday, July 19, 2002 @ 01:04 a.m.
Blah. I just realized how non-exciting I am. Yet, I'm gonna blog anyways. How's that for fun?

The last two days I had off and I did nothing. I'm thoroughly depressed about that. I have been so hot I can barely move without exerting what amounts to too much energy. I feel completely and utterly drained. So, I purchased a little air conditioner. I hope that helps. This is nuts

Tonight I watched four hours of "Frontier House" - kinda an intriguing show about three families who try to survive as they were in 1886. I don't care for history all that much but find appreciation and amusement to watch this kind of reality television. I particularly thought the girls that were addicted to make up were special but now I really kinda like their family. Who knew. There's still two more hours of it next Thursday -_-

Also watched Big Brother 3. I didn't want either evicted, but Laurie was the one to go. She handled it pretty well. For some reason, despite her niceness, she was getting on my nerves...On the other hand I was highly appreciative of her children who made a target out of Josh's head! YAY! Amy has grown on me a lot. I don't know why. The cheese had a little to do with it but I just don't think she's as obnoxious as she seemed at first. I love Jason and Marcellus. Gerry and Danielle I can handle as well. Everyone else, on the other hand....
Thursday, July 18, 2002 @ 01:30 p.m.
The Spark says that I'm 70% Datable which means : dateable! Attractive and confident, witty and charming, a healthy ambrosia-based diet... you're wanted in the 48 contiguous states, you slayer. Call me. Seduce me. Make me a man (or woman.) Not only do you know how to turn a guy's (or girl's) engines on, but you also know how to oil, lube and rotate it. You put the "elation" back into "relationship," and the "night" back into "one-night stand."

OH YEAH! That's me. Watch out. -_-

I'd like to say that the scary thing about this paticular test is somehow it's sponsored by SwimF@n (yes, that disturbing movie about the evil chick and how she wants to kill Sheri Applebee - WHOOO! - unforutunately, she probably fails to accomplish that feat....). I'm intrigued how they manged to weave a psychotic movie about a guy on the swim team into a test about how datable you are....they are amazing.
Wednesday, July 17, 2002 @ 05:47 p.m.
I'm trying to figure out damn chromeless pop ups and it aint working too swell. *bummed* More than anything I'm just getting a headache. BLah.
Tuesday, July 16, 2002 @ 12:08 p.m.
This makes me sad, but the authors made a good point:
REASONS WHY CARS MADE OF CHEESE WILL NEVER CATCH ON

- Passing birds (and pecking peds) would be tempted to take a bite
- They'd dissolve in the car wash
- You'd feel silly putting a sign up in the rear window that says "My other cheese is a Gouda"
- If your car caught fire, you'd have more fondue than you know what to do with
- They'd go mouldy unless you stored them in a tupperware garage
- You wouldn't feel very masculine driving the Ford Wensleydale - Or the Fiat Parmesan
- Vandals might come along in the night and grate it
- In a collision, drivers in a soft cheese wouldn't stand a chance
- Bank robbers would have little chance in a getaway Cheddar
- Who wants to make out int he back of a Camembert?
- Even Jeremy Clarkson wouldn't be able to get sexually aroused sliding his hands down the side of a sweaty piece of Brie
Tuesday, July 16, 2002 @ 12:01 p.m.
BLAH. I'm Blah. Are you blah. No, I'm not Blah. Hi Not Blah. I'm Blah. Nice to meet you Blah. Let's all be Blah together. Happy Happy Blah Blah.

From "The Book of Utterly Rediculous Stupid Lists:

10 PARTS OF A CAR THAT SOUND A BIT RUDE

- Wankel engine
- Half shaft
- Piston
- Big End
- Crank
- Push Rod
- Sump
- Thrust bearing
- Dip Stick
- Ball Joint

I don't wanna go to work. Not that I'm complaining or anything. MWHAHAHAHAHHA. I'm actually in a reasonably good mood. *grins*

I actually updated my 'TODAY' list to the left but I couldn't really think of a Hottie to list so Nephrite got it this time. The obvious Hottie would be Ryan but he's been there the last 6 months so someone new gets a turn, eh? I need to change my imood too....lalala
Monday, July 15, 2002 @ 04:14 p.m.
This Link , which I aquired from Meg's Blog, frightens me more than words can explain (and yet so amusing....eh?)
Monday, July 15, 2002 @ 12:53 p.m.
I'm so happy. It's only 83 degrees out today. I can get stuff done. It's a good thing! I've already caught up on a lot of stuff I'be been putting off but there's still oodles to do before work! Wish me luckaroonies! Whoopie.
Saturday, July 13, 2002 @ 09:04 p.m.
I'm praying there's livable weather around the corner. It's roasting here and I'm miserable, if I haven't mentioned that before. I am going to bed cuz I have to wake up tomorrow at 4:30am for work. That sucks. I had to work that shift today too and I'm a walking half-asleep type-person. My head is on fire. Argha.

Not to be all whiney but my knee joints hurts and I have a migraine too. Maybe it's good I have to go to bed. Not that I can sleep. Too hot. Too early. *blah*

Just watched BB3. I'm a little thrown-off. Amy has a *drumroll* cheese fettish! How can I hate her now? She cried because they hid her cheese. Hm. I really have to ponder that one. Gerry is killing me. He's tied himself up with too many people - it's gonna come back and get him. This new veto thing gave him the "power" but he better play it right or he's gonna get played. I think he's in trouble. I think it's smart not to want the veto power. I'm babbling. This is pathetic. I gotta go to bed. See ya laterz>>>
Thursday, July 11, 2002 @ 07:14 p.m.
Concoction - maybe that's a good work to use in my web page?
Thursday, July 11, 2002 @ 05:32 p.m.
Has anyone pondered why pitas is called pitas? Am I missing something here? Isn't a pita a piece of bread?

I've also come up with a semi-soution to the heat : a spray bottle full of cold water. I bought it today. I need to name it...*ponder*

....how about.....Wonky the Waterbottle! YAY!
Thursday, July 11, 2002 @ 12:34 p.m.
*beats weather report* ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHA! It's supposed to be this hot thru Saturday. I can't sleep - I took four showers during my course of sleep last night in hopes that being a little cooler would help me start to sleep and then I'd be gone but noooooooOooOooOoooooooo....fuck it all.

During one of the few minutes I was actually sleeping last night, however, I did have a strange dream again. This time aparently I belonged (and had an apartment in) a different demention but I didn't find that out until my dream. I accidentally entered it thru a hole in a shed. While still in this demention I had received to of the new "fad" - alarm clock pets which were basically, in this case, kittens (real) with collars on that were alarm clocks (don't I think up the neatest inventions in my sleep). Anyways, in my dream for some reason Firefly and Leiko's mommy followed me into the dimention and gave me yet anouther "alarm" cat - so now I had three. God knows how she figured out how to get there.... Anyways, then I was afraid to let them out because I thought the other dimention inhabitants of the apartment would eat them. There were stairs in our house downstairs and they snuck down there so I followed them and there were our neighbors, who were very nice. They had a whole bunch of these pets that looked like big cute slugs made out of red geletan and they had a baby one that played with my kitties! Erm...then I woke up...

BLAH. It's so friggin' hot out. I'm shriveling up into a giant rainsin of a human under this horrible horrible heat. *dies*

Well...BigBrother3 has begun. Just me or is it slightly obnoxious that they are all a) beautiful and b) obnoxious, especially Josh and Amy? Actually, I do like Chiara (at least I think that's the name of the one I liked...). I know who I want off first (Josh!Josh!Josh!).

In other news: Argh! It's hot! I can't concentrate at all in this heat. It's making me even more lethargic. I can't even design, which is what I am in the mood to do, unless I'm in the cold shower and since I can't drag my puter in there I'm rendered pretty much usless. Neopets isn't even captivating me enough to forget the heat. I think I'm going to go have the 10th cold shower today. I'm dry the moment I get out. Pretty pointless. I'm done with my bitching down, promise. Uggga. Ugga. (Pet rock is influencing my vocab).

I need sleep but I'm being all wonky. I've gotta stop being a freak (yeah....right). However, I was a little productive out of all this. I would have been more productive had I not been looking over my shoulder every second!

I am scared. I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight. Everyone else is asleep and I have this damn creepy feeling. Then just now the fire alarm started to go off for no reason....*shudder*....

I'm really depressed by the current lack of job options. I want to do something else - something that pays more. An office job, preferably. Not gas station attendant. I'm sick of customers, sick of the games, sick of it all. Plus, I'm going to be in financial peril if I don't find something better soon. Fuck it all. Arghhha

...can't....sleep....blah

I have been having seious sleeping issues. I can't seem to sleep at night lately. As a result I sleep during the day and then can't sleep at night again. Argh. Buggers.

I'm sneezing....damn allergies...

Just finished "Son of the Shadows." It was a very good book. I am continually suprized by this series. It is truely spectacular and full of lovable characters ---

Ideas, folks, is what I need. I want to make a collective/portfolio page for my design work. I need it to say Melissa. I need it to be creative, professional, and original. My first task is not an easy one. I must title the page and come up with a domain name (probably will be one in the same). Nothing I come up has "spoken" to me and I do not make decisions easily. I have even searched thru Balderdash for something, anything. Here is the list of mediocracy that I have come up with thus far.

- goulash : implies a mixture, which is what a collective is and what my work is.
- conglomoration
- something with the word "vision" in it....
- essence
Erm....God, I suck at this

Some balderdash words...
- Dzo : Offspring of a cow and a yak
- Huggermugger : confusion, muddle
- Brimborian : Something that is silly
- Menticide : brainwashing
- Paraph : a little squiggle at the end of a signature
- Nonnock : An impulse
- Omphaloskepsis : gazing and belly button while meditating
- Screeve : draw piccies on sidewalk for $
- Perjinkities : nice things
- Flitterbick : a mythical flying squirrel that flies so fast nobody has ever seen it
- Pinxit : artist's signature on a piece of art (this one could work and would be an easy logo...)
- Habnab : hit or miss, halfhazard
- Ubermensch : superhuman human
- Boondoggle : act of looking busy when you have nothing to do
- Squonk : a mythical wart covered bird that is always feeling sorry for itself
- Footle : foolish, futile
- Wuzzy : confused, faint , woozy
- Ichnite : a footprint that has been fossilized

See how I'm going nowhere? Help!
