Today's CD review.. well, not so 'CD review'.. it's pirated actually.. ^_^
Today I spent the whole day cleaning my house at Jakarta because it will be rented next Monday. I was planning on either eating at Sakana or MTA, but suddenly the plan changed. The person who rent my home wanted to finish the deal today, so we brought all of our stuffs home, includi see-saw, garden scissors, and lots of 'dangerous' tools, so my Mom told me not to go anywhere afterwards since we had to go through security checking first.. ^^;; We didn't want the securities felt suspicious to our bagages.. :)
Since I didn't go to MTA atlast, I couldn't find some new mangas, so I went to a magazine kiosk near local mini market. I only found Slam Dunk #22 but not interested in buying it now, so I proceeded to the pirate CDs seller next to it and found a compilation of J-song by male singer. At the first track, it's Lucifer's Regret. I became interested in it and read the next. It has V6 and Janne da Arc as well, plus Seki Tomokazu! Honestly, Janne da Arc and Seki-sama's name were the ones that made me decided right away to buy this CD. The seller tried to offer me the other CDs since 1 CD = 8000 but 2 CDs = 15000, but I couldn't find anything interesting for me again. They offered Chinese Love Song, and I rejected it saying "I only search for Japanese songs".. again, she offered me K-POP, and I have to repeat my statement again.. and she still offered me western music.. oh please.. ~_~ I knew that it's their strategies to persuade customers to buy their stuffs, but sometimes this way really annoying. Finally I insisted to buy only 1. Overall, I'm really happy with the songs. Here are the track lists:
1. Lucifer: Regrets
Regret is Lucifer's ballad song after the Beattrip period that I like. Honestly, I don't quite like how Makoto's voice changed after they left the shade of Kaikan Phrase, but Regret is different. I only have the mono MP3 of Regret so I want to have the better quality version of it.
2. Cascade: Strawberry Moon
Don't know this guy (or group?) at all and don't mix with the song either. I skipped this track.
3. Ken Hirai: Miracle
Aha, I knew this song from Igoy when he was so crazy about Ken Hirai and first introduced me to him. I remember that he loves the refrain so much. I saw the PV on MTV Chinese's JPOP countdown. Before V6 made at the top with Dasenai Tegami, Ken's Miracle had made at the top for a few weeks. A sad, beautiful, and mellow song.
4. Dir~en~Grey: Cage
I even didn't see this song listed at first. Cage is probably the only song I love so much from Diru since I'm scared of them.. ^^;; Cage is beautiful yet emotional and depressed song. Kyo is actually really singing here, so at first I'm truly shocked to hear the other (and recent) Diru's songs where Kyo is mostly screaming rather than singing.. ^^;;
5. Janne da Arc: Eden
Eden is Janne's famous songs from their early era, released in their first major album, DNA (correct me please, I don't quite memorize Janne's discography history). Yasu's voice is ranging at the higher pitch and his tone is not as deep as these days. At this song, his first opening is mostly sounded like a girl.. ^^;; I love how Yasu improves his voice so much.
6. LEAD: Only You can Hurt Me
Don't quite know Lead, so I wanted to try one from them, but it seems that I cannot accept it too well.. ^^;; Johnny's songs are more accepted by my ears.
7. Hyde: Hello (Mix version)
Ah, my most favorite song from Hyde's solo works, where his falsetto is really sexy at the refrain! Honestly, from his 666 album, I only listened to this song and Horizon.. ^^;;
8. Sing Like Talking (SLT): Borderland
Never heard about this group at all, but their music is quite good and calm. I think they stand at pop line.
9. SMAP - Lion Heart
The first SMAP song I knew (and liked) and the first SMAP PV I watched, again at MTV's JPOP chart. Befor e I knew Johnny's, I always skipped this PV since it was so often aired by MTV that time and I was totally bored with the PV.. (gomen, SMAP fans). But once again, I like this song.
10. W-inds: Find Myself
I'm fonder to w-inds rather than Lead. Keita's high-pitched and their dance music line somehow mixed well. Well, although I'm quite fond to w-inds, but not enough to convince me to buy their CDs.. :) Just like them, not love them anyway.
11. Takki & Tsubasa: Yume Monogatari
Another consideration in buying this CD, altough not the main one, since I have the original single. I love this song so much so I bought the single. Love the refrain, love how Tsuba's voice mingled very well to balance Takki's voice. Love the PV, but don't like the dance and hand movement.. ^^;;
12. Seki Tomokazu: Singing Love for You
Aaa, Seki-sama! Seki-sama is the first seiyuu I really admit as a singer. He can sing! He really can sing, trust me! His voice is sometimes what convinced me to buy a series of anime. He can always put his characters to live and also gives them extra charm.. ^^;; FYI, some of Seki-sama's major roles are Ken Hidaka (Weiss kreuz), Chichiri (Fushigi Yuugi), Shuuichi Shindou (Gravitation), Haru Glory (Rave), Alexander Howell (Ayashi no Ceres), Touya Kinomoto (Card Captor Sakura), Kyo Souma (Fruits Basket), Van Fanell (Escaflowne), and Kamui Shirou (X movie).
13. Takashi Soricmachi: Looking for My Dream
ERr... I still can't accept Sorimachi's songs. Poison is my favorite. I love his unique voice but it seems he still can't control his voice well. For this aspect.. aww.. how I love Yasu.. :)
14. V6: Shiny Day
Ahh, Shiny day.. one of my favorite song from seVen album, with Inocchi's soothing and gentle voice opened the song. Don't really care about the grammar, this song makes my days shining... :) To hear his voice after hearing the past songs of this CDs really soothes the air at my room. It feels so good to hear voices and songs you've known and loved whole-heartedly for a long time and, without you realized it, has been mingled with your heart and soul.. ^_^.. yeah yeah, I know it's exaggerating, but really, it has a feeling like coming back to the home sweet home after doing a long adventure/trip/journey.
15. Masaharu Fukuyama: Sakurazaka
Undoubtedly a pop song.. very calm and soothing, but doesn't fit me well. Instead of the word "sakurazaka", I'm more familiar with "Sakurazuka".. *grin* Skipped this track
16. Chemistry: Kimi o Sagashiteta
A cute wedding song in R&B style. I'm not very fond with R&B since my line of music is more to rock and pop, but Chemistry is an execption in some songs. Honestly, this song is not one of the exception. I cannot fit with it too well.

Happy Birthday.. to me.. ^_^
Yesterday was my birthday, and got lots of SMS from friends and relatives. Thank u all! *hugs* ..thanks for everone who has SMSed me or tagging me at blog or emailed me or congrated me directly. I'm so happy to know that I have so many who loves me.. *hug again*
Maming even made me this very cute avatar..
Anyway, yesterday, my plan to fully concentrate on my work failed again to manage my office fellowss' treat. We had the same lunch as last year, Hoka-hoka Bento. Oh yes, 'he' also congratulated me.. so happy.. ^_^ Well, actually, I don't realy understand my own feeling.. whether I really like him as only friend or more than that.. well, it's fine for me as long as I can give my caring to him. Then at the afternoon, me and my parents did the ritual photo session with the b'day cake before dining. Gosh, although I've lost 6 kgs since last year, but it seems that I didn't change much in weights.. I want to diet more! ^_^
By the way,
Janne da Arc's newest single,
Gekkoka, which was released at Jan 19 has made it to number 2 of Oricon chart!!! CONGRATULATION!!! ^_^ They lost to SMAP's newest single which is also released at the same day. Well, SMAP is unbeatable, it's fine.. but at least they beats Do As Infinity and Morning Musume, a proof that they started to be a major existance in J-music. They even beats Laruku who was at the top of Oricon a few days ago. It feels the same when V6 was releasing their single Thunderbird, who was beaten by GLAY with Blue Jean. V6 cannot beat GLAY in popularity, I must honestly admit, as for Janne da Arc cannot beat SMAP. Well, but I'm so glad they made it to the second top of Oricon!! Banzai Janne da Arc!!
And pardon me once again for the delaying of Singapore trips. I've typed half but saved it on my PC at office. One of my new year and birthday wish is so I can get rid my delaying habits (well, I must admit, sometimes it becomes a habit actually.. ^^;;.. due to my laziness) and can manage my times better and better (see, the delaying is caused by improper use of time).

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
Back to blogging! Yeah!! First of all,
Merry
Christmas and Happy New Year!!! I was still at
Singapore on Christmas so I couldn't reply all SMS
sent to me. Sorry all for not replying you, but I
love all of the sms, that is to know that I have
lot of friends. *hugs all*
My cousin, Airy-chan, is currently spent her
holiday here. Many many thanks to her, my love to
V6 grows again!! Yay!! We screamed all the time
while watching every V6/Johnny's events and she
never stopped screaming 'Okacchi' or 'Okayon' or
'Junichi' whenever Okada was seen. As for me, my
second love to Go is getting bigger and bigger..
Kyaa, Go-kun kakkoiii!!!!! Oh, Inocchi, you're also
cute as always.. hehehe.. Last night we watched a
scene from Inocchi's dorama,
Ashita Tenki ni
Naare, when he jealously and desperately saw
Hana with Tokumura from afar. His facial expression
is amazing, especially for an Inocchi! Love you
love you!!!! *muach muach* My fondness to Izumi is
also rising again... aargh, I guess Izumi and
Inocchi were a little forgotten since I'm addicted
to Janne da Arc. When we watched Kamen Rider Faiz
at the time when Kiba was
henshin-suru into
Faiz, we all screamed hard!! HE'S SO KAKKOIIIIIII
!!!!!! With his low tone saying "henshin", he
looked soooo sexxxxxyyy!!!!!!!!! Airy-chan stated
that her craziness to Okada-kun is getting worse
everytime she came here *laugh*. This time, it
seems that she's started to like Janne da Arc as
well!! *wink* Especially after watching a streaming
clip of Yasu when he's slipping during the Feel The
Wind shooting and apologizing with very cute voice,
and also after watching the funny
Kasumi Yuki
Sorase ni Shite PV!! KAWAII YASU!!!!!! Yosh,
Janne da Arc infection is ready to be spread!
Janne da Arc's Gekkoka and Luna Sea's
Tonight
On this first day of the year, I got 2 PVs I love
so much!!!! One is from JDA's newest single,
Gekkoka PV, and one from Luna Sea,
Tonight PV. I LOVE GEKKOKA!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG, Yasu looks very very very very very very very
kakkoiiiii!!!!! And is it only me or his hair and
eyebrows somehow similar to Hyde's?? The other
members also unusually looks very kakkooiii!!! The
song itself is very angsty yet absolutely
beautiful. IMO this is the best JDA's ballad from
every aspects:
1. The PV. The overall color of this PV is sephia-
ish and calm but a little gloomy, reminds me to Do
as Infinity's Fukai Mori. The lighting and camera
angle are also beautiful and I love Yasu's
expression while sitting on chair and singing. His
facial expression suits the song's angst very well!
I love the backshot of the girl playing violin in
this PV.. in short, one word for this PV:
beautiful.
2. Member's appearance. Ka-yu is unusually neat and
kakkoii!! Where are those piercing on his lips that
somehow makes me scared to see him? I love Ka-yu's
expression here. You looks very kakkoii also!
Shuji's form in playing drums also makes him looks
different and Kiyo's keyboard playing is absolutely
one that makes this song incredibly beautiful. Yasu
is undoubtedly beautiful and cool at the same
place. His facial expression is similar to
Love is Here but more angsty which makes
this song touches your heart.
3. The overall music. The arrangement is probably
one of the best I've ever heard from a J-Rock song.
Somehow JDA's last singles are all amazingly
beautiful, especially the last two:
Love is Here
and
Gekkoka. I want the single!!!
And I'll absolutely buy their upcoming album!
Aitakute itooshikute furetakute kurushikute
Todokanai tsutawaranai kanawanai toosugite
Ima wa mou kimi wa inai yo
(I want to meet you... I love you... I want to touch you... It is so painful...
I can't reach you... I can't send my feeling to you... My wish can't come true... you're so far away
Now you're not here again)
As for Luna Sea's Tonight PV, I always love the
song since the first time I know Luna Sea and
probably my favorite song from them. The PV has the
infamous circling camera shooting with the members
on a small stage. I love the camera angles but they
were moving quite fast so I can only recognize
Ryuichi since he's the only that holding microphone
and Shinya since he's the drummer. I can't differ
Inoran, Sugizo, and J as they all were handling
guitar (and bass). Though, this PV is very upbeat
and catchy, makes you want to shake your head and
body!! Yeaaaaaah!! Kimi dake no Melodyyyyyy!!!!!!
My trip reports to Singapore will be added later..
