FEELING: (= QUITE HAPPY
YAY fun times! SUMMER DAYS = HAPPY DAYS!!!

Yesterday was SO MUCH FUN! Jeeyoung rode her bike to my house (she likes bike-riding HAHAHA) and we stuffed our faces like usual until Liz came and we were gonna go to Disneyland but then Liz couldn't find Jee's ticket so we were gonna go to Downtown Disney but the traffic would've been horrible on the way back so we went to The Circle in Orange! Omgosh I absolutely LOVE that place! So of course, we go to eat first...at Bybola's! MAN where we sat was so quaint and awesome and dude, mediterranean food ROCKS. Wow did we eat a lot and talk a lot and laugh a lot and embarrass ourselves and each other a LOT. But man was it fun: snorting, ice dropping, baklava-stuffing, tripping/falling. Then we went to the cool antique stores and WOW, I am going to decorate my next place of residence with all that stuff...it was absolutely terrific! Jeeyoung and I found awesome dawsome presents for Andrew there and on the way to Andrew's party, the three of us made up a birthday song for him. Yes we are cool; I know you wanna hear the song we made up for him HAHA. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDREW!!! So Andrew's party was lots of fun! So many people YAY. I swear the entire world was there or something so it was great seeing everyone. I got to be pushed around in a chair around the house; that was the ride of my life HAHA thanks Andrew! We played Taboo and that was fun; dude I suck at it HAHA. Watched everyone play killer dodgeball. And of course, we ate. A lot. Like always. After the party, Alice, Jennifer, Jeeyoung, and I went to see Shrek but it was sold out so we rented Love Actually and watched it at Jennifer's till I went home.

Today, Jeeyoung came over and we watched Peter Pan while stuffing our faces with food like we always do. Omygosh that movie is so freaking awesome and cute. I LOVE it! Shawna Buttmunchkin came over after a while and we headed to the PuenteAZNHills mall but what can ya do when you wanna watch a movie? So I got the second piercing in my right ear done again since it had closed up a while ago. Then Alice joined us for Shrek 2! Man it was great...I really loved it...all the allusions to today's society and pop culture HAHA genius!! Then Alice, Jeeyoung, and I came back to my casa and finished cool Peter Pan with the awesome dawsome TINKERBELL!! =D

So I hope my summer plans work out! No matter what, more good times ahead! JOY!

FEELING: ('= SADLY HAPPY...
First of all, PICTURES from Graduation tonight! These are from Alice's site so props to her! Hover over each thumbnail for a description and cick to enlarge:

So today was the last day of school...WE'RE FINALLY SENIORS YAY YAY YAY!!!!! I cannot express how happy I am. DUDE! =DDDDDD Man, time passed by fast!

After school, Thea, Yumi, Jessica, and I went to Thea's to chill and ate FABULOUS cheesecake until we had to go back to school for the 2004-2005 Women's Ensemble rehearsal. It was a lot of fun, just like the previous years. The new girls seem really awesome...I love meeting new people YAY!!! Having the rehearsal on the last day of school kinda ruins the mood of the last day of school, but what can ya do? After rehearsal, I went home and got ready for graduation. When I got to school, everyone looked so spiffy! Aw I was so proud! So we all really wanted a group picture of the whole Junior Honor Guard but everytime we took pictures, 1 person would not be there. Agh! HAHA "photoshop them in!" So I'll admit that grad practice this past Tuesday was tedious and not all that great but tonight...wow. It was truly a great experience. Yeah, all we did was walk in formations, stand for really really really long periods of time (wow did my feet cry) while listening to Belcher pronounce names weirdly (Andrew and I silently cracked up every 3 minutes), and look like spiffy statues...but just experiencing the Class of 2004's Graduation and actually having the honor of being part of it....MAN (= I was so proud of and happy for my lovely seniors. CONGRATS you guys!!! You are all truly wonderful people and I'll never forget the memories we've shared...Best of luck to all of you! ('= It was seriously an honor to be part of the Junior Honor Guard....and plus, we got awesome dawsome bouquets and boutinniers! ((((= After Graduation, Christi, Shawna, and I sped over to the Village 'cause we were hungry beasts. We went to Akasaka and were later joined by Diana, Jennifer, Alice, John, and Melvin. Christi was my awesome dawsome buddy toight. HAHAHA I swear like we couldn't stop laughing. We're compatible like that HAHA! We are eating machines...we finished before everyone else. Shawna is the slowest eater in the world. Stop being so ladylike and just scarf it down, I tell you! HAHA Then I got really drowsy and started whining so Shawna Buttmunchkin was forced to take me home. (= What a great day!

FEELING: (=> REMINISCENT
First of all, June 2nd was Andrew's birthday, so HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY ANDREW!!!!

Oh man so this week was the last week for the seniors. AGHHHHHHHH )'=

Yumi and I totally surprised Irene, Mich, and Mildrey with the Fab 5 poster collages. Freaking Irene's wail and red face made it worth it HAHAH (= I've written you guys so many messages and stuff...I love you guys like crazy and I'm gonna miss you so much!!!

Thea, Caroline, Elias and I pulled off a successful Senior Roast for the drama seniors on Friday...props you guys, props! It was a lot of fun and we've instilled some new traditions YAY. Yesterday, Saturday was the dreaded SAT day. I kept falling asleep of course but having the cool Chris there during breaks made it okay. I dunno how I did. I felt like how I always do after those horrible tests. After that, Chris took me to pick Yumi up and we chilled at my house till the Yearbook Distribution Party. GOOD JOB TO PUBLICATIONS 'cause the yearbook is awesome dawsome...even though my name was spelled wrong twice and the index was insubstantial...HAHA jk. Props Cayuse staff, props. It's very cool man. So I never got my In-n-Out 'cause of the frenzy of signing but I got almost all of my lovely seniors (=. Dude it is so hard to put down exactly how you feel about a person in a yearbook....trying to remember all the memories, inside jokes, and what you think about them. I tried my best to do just that in every one I did though. (=

I haven't paid a tribute to my awesome dawsome seniors in Drama. I think it's about time I did. Drama has been such a huge part of my life this year. Despite hardcore rehearsals before school, during lunch, and after school for mainstage shows, competitions, showcases, class performances, etc., the best part of it all I got to do what I love with such wonderful people. All of you have made an impact on my life and this has been my most favorite year in high school so far and a lot of that had to do with you guys. Some of us have bonded over a common interest to become close friends where it didn't have to be about drama anymore and we could just chill and do anything even though you guys are the only ones I can watch plays and musicals with 'cause we can understand each other when we critique them HAHA.
  • Frank- SERIOUSly funny FRANKO! The awesome dawsome and generous chauffeur of everywhere we go (from competitions to Joe's Crab Shack to Hollywood to Applebee's to Cue to everyone's houses) and I say this 'cause you never let us forget it. You can be the funniest and weirdest little kid to the most serious and mature guy the next. Thanks for all the talks about everything- parents, guys, friends. I know I can talk to you about everything and you always make me see things from every perspective. You've made me so appreciative of everything I'm blessed with. Thanks for being the blunt and honest one HAHA. You always make me laugh even though you always make fun of me and make me angry on purpose 'cause it's funny to you...gee what a guy. "Frankkkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!"...."Helennnnnnnnnnn!!!!". Well, things have gone so great for you this year. You were so scared you weren't gonna be Sky but look: you've been the bestest Sky anyone could ask for! Gosh you stud, your vocal skills never cease to amaze me. You're such an inspiration to me and I know your future will be great. Have fun at UCSD 'cause I know you will. White girls and the beach, how exciting! I hope you find that half white/half asian girl HAHA. I know you said that "Life goes on." and that we're gonna move on and that might be true but when I look back on this year, I'll always remember you guys and all the great memories we've had. I can't wait to dance stupid dances with you when you come back to visit!
  • Julian- arrogant and attention-loving NINJA! You freeloader, I will miss you always stealing my food without my permission. HAHA wow lots of memories: giving each other the names Attractive Woman-io and Smelly, teaching each other Tagalog and Cantonese, owing each other food, especially In-n-Out, Naruto!, college apps and honor guard apps, phone calls from my closet, Sadies (my King of Hearts!), My Guy ("Let me lead!"), not understanding 'Frida Kahlo', critiquing DB choir and drama performances like crazy, freestyle battles (which you lost), procrastinating on everything, ninja-fighting all the time, pool'ing at your house ('YAY YAY' *jump and wave* and distracting each other), competing with each other (freaking musical comedy orals), and the list goes on. I appreciate your indifference with my sarcasm...it just works like that! But really, thanks for always being there for me. You always sit down to have a talk with me about anything and everything when I'm not feeling all that great and even when I'm the happiest person in the world! It's great how you always stand up for what you believe in, even though that leads into arguments with people all the time but that's okay 'cause you love to argue HAHA. Well, I'm really glad we've gotten close this year and I know you're gonna be a great actor 'cause you're so talented like that and I'm looking forward to seeing you perform in UCI and later in Hollywood! Come back to visit or else I'll beat you up since I have more chakra than you!
  • Andrew- naturally hilarious SUPERWAITER! Aww Andrew, you always make me laugh 'cause you're just witty and funny like that. Thanks for always making fun of me HAHA it makes me feel guh-REAT. I love always bumping into you after I get out of the bathroom 'cause I always get there before you! So your attempts to scare me worked but only 'cause I got scared to make you feel better HAHA! You are so charismatic and you just make talking to you so easy. You are so talented in your quiet ways but you stand out without even trying (=. You are gonna be the next John Mayer and I'm glad you're coming back to direct Dinner Theatre next year! How exciting! We count on each other to be online at all times and so far, we haven't failed. I shall miss you a lot, my SuperWaiter!
  • Debbie- patient and hard-working DEB! My dear, I admire you in so many ways. You are the perfect role model for everyone. You are so passionate about the performing arts and you excel in all areas of it: acting, singing, and dancing. You handle so much and yet you do it all equally well. You always make others feel welcome and you always have something nice for everybody. I love our walks to 6th period 'cause our chitter chatters are great. You always do more than you have to and you deserve everything great in the world. I know I told you some of this in the entry for the choir girls, but you've been such a motivation for me to perform this year. You've always encouraged to me to do as much as I could handle and to the best of my ability. Dearie, you deserve everything awesoe dawsome in this world and I know you'll do fantastic at Chapman. I can't wait to see you perform!
  • Scott- jolly and slackerish FLIRT! HAHAHA Scott, your thingy in my yearbook made me laugh for like 10 minutes. You're always the perfect gentleman, thank you m'dear. You're also the biggest nerd in the world, HAHA. You are so accomplished: National Merit Finalist, 4th in the nation in Spanish, LAMDA Diploma recipient, perfect 4.0 GPA, etc.! I dunno how you do all that while being the biggest slacker in the world...everyone should have your luck HAHA. I love how you can always keep a conversation going and going and going HAHA. It is never boring when talking to you. You have the bestest smile and it always makes me laugh when you go, "Ooh..*raises eyebrows*" Very sexy HAHAHA. Well, you have a very bright future ahead of you and you've had an awesome past. Come visit lots, you nerd!
  • Phillip- hug-obsessed laugh-a-lot PHIL! Wow Phil, it was an honor working with you during Servant. I mean, playing love interests meant we had no choice but to get close. HAHA (o; Mister President-of-the-Performing-Arts, you always know when to be organized and serious and when to let loose and have fun. You have the most distinctive laugh in the world, I can always tell when it's you HAHA. Your hugs are great too; you're so generous with them (= Thanks for always beign so caring; you always ask how I'm doing and you're always there with a nice comment. I know college will be great for you and even though Ms. Karr isn't on your list of favorite people, you should come back to visit us!
  • Cassie- stylish and pink-obsessed STAGEMANAGER! Wow, your endless supply of pink stuff never ceases to amaze me, from your lip gloss to your heels to your clothes to your purses, WOW! It's always great saying hi to you everyday, it's a daily routine for us! You are the bestest stage manager, always on the top of things. You're so sweet, going the extra step to see everyone's okay, especially before shows. You totally deserved that Drama 'Wall of Fame' award 'cause you're dedicated like that. You'll do great things in the future and make sure to come back to tell me about them!
  • Ryan- always smiling RYAN! Dude, you're always with a smile on your face and nothing ever seems to bother you. You always have a greeting for me and you always ask how I'm doing, thank you! Best of luck in the future; I know you'll do well! Come back and visit!

The underclassmen of Advanced Drama: It's been such a great year with you guys 'cause we've gotten soo close. I'm so glad we have another year to look forward to. There's no doubt that this year was very special and that next year will be different. But you know what, every year is special and we have the ability to make year awesome dawsome. I can't wait till next year 'cause you guys make it worth it:
  • Thea- sexy, booty-shaking COLUMBIAN! Dude, I know you loved that! I know I wrote soemthing for you with the other choir girls, but you're so special to me that I will write you another one in this drama section 'cause you're in both! Dude, we are so different from each other yet so alike. Thanks for making your home my home on the weekends and thanks for all the getting ready'ness. We do practically every performance together, whether it is choir or drama. You made me love Robeks but you are definitely Robeks Queen. You're always there to listen, even if I have to tell you stuff through text messaging HAHA. We always have stories to tell each other; it's great. I love how you love to laugh and I give you props 'casue you don't take crap from anyone. We've had a lot of years together and next year shall be our last one but I know it'll be awesome dawsome. I love you mi amor!
  • Jeeyoung- passionate and pious HOTNESS! Jeeyoung, wow, if there is one person I've gotten extremely close to, it would be you. We've had SO many memories: screaming over the 'Servant' cast list, ketchup&mustard, playing at my house and eating till we pass out, our BINGO dance, sleepovers at my house, doing hair and makeup, me listening to you talk all night, 1957295727359 drama-related conversations, 12934729056235235 everything-related conversations, DTASC Shakespeare semi-finalists, sea cucumbers, watching each other break down, ditching lunch instead of the 3rd workshop at CETA, eating Mongolian Grill no matter where we are, movie nights, etc.! I admire you for your passinate nature for everything: drama, French, Harry Potter, Christianity, etc.! You are the most typical teenage girl sometimes with the enough energy to wear 23957293 people out, but you can also be a mature person the next. I can talk to you about everything and you are one of the few people I confide in about everything. I dunno how I could have gone through this year without you...things would have been very different! I love how you always make me laugh 'cause you're naturally hilarious, especially when you do your psycho laugh. But the thing is, we DID get close and I'm very grateful for that. Next year will be great and things will be awesome for you. You are the most accomplished sophomore I know. You have lots of talent; don't deny it! I'll always be here for you and you'll always have my support!
  • Karissa- very funny epitome of PINK! Well, well, well, Karissa, you Tinkerbell, pink, Marilyn Monroe, and Madonna-obsessed freak! You belong in Hollywood dude. I have yet to see your renowned room so you better show me soon! You've made this year brigter with your contagious laugh. We can laugh forever about anything 'cause our laughter is infectious like that. I love your accents; they are idiosyncratic to you HAHAHA. I love how you get excited so easily about doing something new, it's great. Dear, I shall always remember our screaming frenzy during 'Seatbelt,' it was too fun! Don't get too many bruises, okay? But yeah, you are just crazy fun and I love it. Thanks for always being there for me; you're an awesome dawsome listener. We still have to go to Disneyland and you always have the bestest ideas for going out! Good thing we still have next year, my dear!
  • Shaina- ditzy SHAINA PANCAKE! My dear, you are comedy without even trying to be. I love your voice and how you can be really ditzy and yet you're so smart and involved. Ms. President, thanks for being there, even at 1 a.m. (HAHA remember?!) I'm so proud of you this year. You've tackled the incredible feat of directing your own play. You're versatile: a playwright, a director, and an actress. You've still got 2 years ahead of you and you've got the dedication and talent to accomplish whatever you want. I love how we can relate to each other 'cause we both have typially asian parents so we can feel left out together, HAHA. Hopefully I'll be able to drive and you'll be able to stay out more next year 'cause then that would be great!
  • Christian- naturally hilarious CHRISTIAN! Dude Christian, you are one of the most talented underclassmen I know. You are the Improv King and all around great actor/singer. I know you'll be a Broadway star before you know it and that's gonna be great. You've achieved so much in 2 short years and you have another 2 years to do much more. Thanks for always making me laugh; you are reality comedy. Also, thanks for always being yourself. Remember our sad talk about seniors leaving while Frank played on his Gameboy! Oh yeah, I have to make you watch Grease one day. I'm telling you, you're missing out. Whenever I hear about Damn Yankees or sing the Mambo song, I think of you! You're the star of the future mainstage shows, you know you are! I'm so glad we still have next year!

You guys have all made a mark in my life and you will continue to do so. To the seniors, I will miss you all and I'm so glad we've gotten to know each other. To the underclassmen, it's been awesome dawsome and it will continue to be so and I'm grateful for that!

    I CAN'T WAIT TO BE A SENIOR!

Oh yeah, Brit's dip is awesome dawsome ...good job Brit! Then we talked and played some more and Chris, Eric, Jackie, and others crashed the house for a few minutes (Sharon, what did I say! FEELING: (= HAPPILY GUH-REAT!
YAY today was great- it made me happy! It was my first weekend in forever where I didn’t have to do something choir or drama related, which is a nice change even though I love you guys like crazy =D.

So I went shopping at Brea with Britni for a couple of hours and then with Shawna buttmunckin. I felt very accomplished HAHA. Then I felt broke…BAH! It was great playing with them and I even bumped into Frunkster Joyce, Diana, and Tiffanie! HAHAHA bumping into Tiffanie was comedy…so great HAHA. Then Shawna took me home and I played with my adorable Leslie, Yolandie, and Caitlyn for a while until Vicky came over and we played for a while before we (along with Britni) went to Jackie’s for Sharon, Tiffanie, Andrew, and Eric’s surprise birthday party. HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOU FOUR!!!!! Eric’s is belated and Andrew, Tiffanie, and Sharon’s is early. I hope you guys had fun!!! Good job to Jackie and Sandy for planning the party and stuff (=. So we happened to be 2 hours late but that was okay (=. I was kinda angry at my mommy ‘cause she called Sharon and almost ruined the surprise…but Sharon didn’t really catch on at the time- good stuff HAHA. So everyone was at the party- very cool. However, Vicky, Britni, Betty, and I got hungry so we left to the Village to eat a late dinner and to chitter chatter. So I always tell them this but I just love how Vicky and Betty laugh. Vicky is loud and continuous. Betty throws her head back and her laugh is like HA! HA! HA! Aw I love those chicks HAHAHA!

I love my friends! We have so much fun and we get to play some more tomorrow! YAY how exciting!

    FEELING: |x CRANKY
Oh my a 3-day weekend! YAY! So I haven't updated for a while...a week, actually. This week was very good- I liked it! HAHA.

Well, Wednesday the 26th was Scotty's birthday so HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY SCOTT!!!!! I hope you had a great 17th and thanks for always making my day!

Yesterday was a big day. I got my first gag award from choir. I got "Friendliest." Thanks you girls! That was really nice of you! I was so surprised. (= Thea got "Best Show Makeup" and Yumi got "Biggest Freshman" among other girls- how cute HAHA! So I went home after school and baked a cake for people that night. That night was Advanced Drama's annual May show (entitled "Scene Change!" this year). Wow it went GREAT. The crowd wasn't very big but they were very responsive. It was so much fun. Everyone did awesome- good job you guys! Thanks to everyone who came to support us...especially my mommy, brother, Vicky, Betty, Andrew, Mike, Elaine, Yumi, Sisco, etc.!!! It meant a lot! I saw a lot of last year's seniors after the show- it was SO great to see them! I was so sad afterward...it was my last performance for this year as well as the seniors' last one at WHS. OMGOSH!!!! )'= I shall get all sentimental after the Senior Roast and dedicate an entry to my drama babes next week because I LOVE YOU GUYS DANGIT! We are like this *crosses fingers* ('=

So today there were a lot of positive feedback about the show YAY it makes me happy HAHA. Oh yeah, I went to the Senior Awards Assembly today, thereby missing the rest of Forrest Gump in 4th )=. Omgosh it was SO cold. Of all days to be cold, gloomy, and sprinkling, it has to be the day I have to wear a dress (Thanks for letting me borrow your dress Thea mi amor!). Well, all we did was hold the doors open, pass out programs, guide people to their seats, and stand there. We were basically ushers for free. HAHA good thing we do more for Graduation. Man, the assembly was very long. There were so many awards and wow, those seniors are special people. CONGRATS to them all! We have such an awesome senior class. AGH and they're leaving in a couple of days! How depressing.

So I got a class for the summer at Mt. SAC. Unfortunately, I did not get the summer class at WHS. The bad thing is that I NEED the class at WHS. I dunno what to do about my schedule!

Hi Karissa! I missed you at the May Show yesterday night but I hope you had a great time at the Madonna concert! Break a leg tomorrow night for your "Annie" performance! I wish I could go!!!

Well, my dear cousins are coming up from Houston this July! YAY good stuff; they are fun!

    FEELING: ('= SADLY HAPPY
First of all: HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULIAN!!!!

Wow what a week. It was great, busy, tiring, fun, emotional, nostalgic, and definitely memorable.

The Spring Pops Choral Concerts: Despite horrible tech rehearsals, we found out that miracles could happen when we put on a good show on Thursday and Friday night. Everyone did awesome dawsome: good job" STYLE="text-decoration: none; border-bottom: medium solid green;" HREF="http://search.targetwords.com/u.search?x=5977|1||||job|AA1VDw">job guys! Thanks to everyone who came to the concert! It meant a lot!!! (=
  • Thursday: It was Eric's birthday so HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY ERIC!!! Geebus so Fab F!ve and Lopez got into some drama during 5th period. She said some pretty horrible stuff to us. Mich, Yumi, and I came out crying; Mildrey was lost for words; Irene spoke up for us all. Afterward, she found out that she had been wrong and she apologized to us...HECK YEAH (=< So the concert came and went. What can I say, performing rocks and I love my Fab 5!
  • Friday: I woke up way earlier than usual and got to school at 7:00 a.m. to practice "The Sonnets" for the 8th Grade Orientation. Thea, Julian, Jeeyoung, and I had to take over Christian's part 'cause he barely told us the day before that he wouldn't be able to perform it with us after all. Even though we kinda freaked out, we did it and got everything down in 30 minutes. YAY we work well under pressure. 8th Grade Orientation was fun and it was even better that I got to miss all my academic classes of the day YAY! After school, we practiced "My Guy" for the Choir Banquet and we got more stuff accomplished in 1 hour after school than all the lunches during the week combined. YAY good job you guys! That night was the last concert of the year. Thank you to my dears Mich and Debbie...you guys are the sweetest; I wanted to cry! So it was the last concert/show/performance for Fab F!ve )'= However, it went great; I love you girls!!!! Afterward, Irene, Mich, Mildrey, and I went to eat some good stuff at Pheonix. We missed you Yumi!

The Choir Banquet: I woke up today and made a cake for Julian and then Yumi came over and we made little cakes for the Fab F!ve seniors and cupcakes for the guys of "My Guy". Then we got ready for the choir banquet and Mich came over. We got to school pretty early and wow the MPR was totally awesome dawsome. Banquet was SO NICE....good job officers!!! So we ate and there were awards. Then it was time to do "My Guy." It went well considering we were underehearsed and it was only our third time practicing with the piano. YAY good job guys! After the banquet, Mildrey, Mich, Yumi and I went to chill at Starbucks. Irene, you were missed! Man ringtones and conversations by singing....it can't get better than that!

    Now for some thanks:
To the guys in "My Guy" (Austin, Frank, Julian, Scott, and Andrew): Thank you SO much for being in the song with us, for coming to rehearsals, for being enthusiastic, for some choreography ideas, for being such good performers and improv'ers, and for being so much fun to work with! It would not have been great without you guys....especially thanks to Julian for being "my guy"! You were so awesome dawsome and creative! We love you guys!!!

My lovely Fab F!ve: I can't believe a year has gone by so fast. We've bonded over show choir but it has grown to so much more than that. I'm so glad to have met each and every one of you and no matter what, we'll always be Fab F!ve 'cause "we're cute!"
  • Mich- My sexy scandalous! Dearie, I remember the first time I met you was at the 02-03 Women's summer rehearsal and I'm so grateful that we've gotten close over that. I've loved surprising you at your house with Yumi at random moments and thanks for introducing me to Jun...it is freaking bomb awesome! You're the sweetest: you're always there to lend an ear and you always go out of your way to see that your firends are a-okay and happy pappy, from always offering rides to flowers and candy. Thanks for everything m'dear!
  • Irene- Omgoodness Irene you make me so happy! I'm so glad you joined choir this year 'cause it would not have been awesome dawsome without you. HAHAHA I love the way you dance and our hugs that are always "special!" You have the most amazing voice and I know you can make it in the business if you wanted to. Thanks for always being there to listen to my parent and boy stories and always sharing yours. I love your bluntness and your humor. Hey, you've made me see pooping and frating in a whole new light. You're so unafraid to express yourself and I love you for that!
  • Yumi- My Yumi baby! Oh my you are freaking awesome. Your laughter brightens my day and I'm so glad we've gotten close. I love how you come over a lot and all we do is eat. (= Remember our walks down Valley to get Umi and seeing the dead possum! Dude thanks for always being there to listen and offering advice. I'll always be here for you and know that despite whateevr problems you have, there are always people who care about you! You're so determined and such a good person...I'm glad we still have next year to look forward to!
  • Mildrey- Agh my wacky Mildrey! You are the cutest and wackiest girl I've met. You always know how to make me laugh and I love how you get excited over your bra and how you cried when you told us that story in choir and how your chinchilla is the most adorable pet. You are the best booty shaker I know and you always know how to have fun. You have the best picture faces; they're unforgettable! It was great being in the musical with you...YAY hot box dancers! I love you my dear!

Fab F!ve, there has been so many memories...there are too many to list them all: from eating after every competition/show/performance to our good luck thing we do before every performance to practicing at Irene's. I'm going to miss it all. I know you seniors will do great in college....make sure you come back to visit (every holiday remember!) Yumi and me! I love you guys!

    My other dears:
  • Thea: Mi amor, we go way back. I love how we were in show choir together since the beginning of time and how we understand each other so well. I know I can tell you everything and that no matter how busy we are, we are always there for each other. It's been great spending almost every weekend at your house; your mommy's carne asada is the bestest. I love how we do practiclaly every performance together, choir and drama. Thanks for being outspoken and not take crap from anyone. We still have one more year and I know we can only get closer...I love you mi amor!
  • Debbie: My darling. You are the nicest and sweetest girl I know. You are so talented: a singer, an actress, and a dancer. Your compassion, your patience, and your selflessness is amazing. I don't know how to juggle everything: school, friends, family, drama, choir, and dance. It takes a lot to do all that and yet you do it all so well. You do so much for show choir; you are the bestest president and you always go out of your way to make us special and unique from the other choirs: from personalized tank tops and shirts to the Confidence Song to the show choir mascot, the Confidence Bear, to teaching us how to do a topsy-tail to always listening to our opinions to sending each of us a flower and a personalized card. You've made show choir awesome dawsome and it just won't be the same next year. You have no idea how much you mean to me. I'm so grateful to have met you and I hope we'll always stay in touch. I know you'll be the greatest theatre educator. You deserve everything great in the world...I love you!
  • Elaine- my soul sister! I love how both our parents came from Vietnam and yet we're still Cantonese. It's great how we understand that while no one else does HAHA. My dear you are beautiful and so smart and I hope you the best in college. Remember to bring Stitch (me) with you! Thanks for the Millie's, the ice cream, the mall'ing, the movie nights, the everything! You are going to be the best mommy in the world. No one else I know deals with kids better. Major props babe...you are one of the most mature people I know and yet you're still a dork. I'll always be here for you..I love you!

I took so many pictures this week and I shall post them later after the May Show. Please come to Drama's May Show entitled "Scene Change" this coming THursday, May 27th at 7:00 p.m. in the WHS theatre. It is my last performance of the year and I'd really love for all of you to come!

    FEELING: |= LETHARGIC
I felt very lethargic today! |:

Today was quite eventful. I spent the afternooon at Irene's with my lovely Fab 5 minus Yumi (You nerd! We missed you!) practicing "My Guy". Then Mildrey kindly took me to pick up Julian and then she dropped us off at Thea's. Thank you m'dear! Then Mrs. Thais drove us to see the spanish play Frida Kahlo in L.A. Man driving down those streets made us realize how privileged we are. So we were late getting there so we didn't meet up with Scott, Helen, Mrs. Wei, Carolyn, Genevive, Yvette, and Yvette's sister in time which meant that we couldn't get the group rate. DARN. HAHA. So the play was...wow. It made me feel like I had learned barely any spanish these past 3 years. I barely understood ANYTHING. Julian and I kinda just stared. Then I looked over to the other side and I saw Scott, Helen, and Carolyn with blank stares too so I felt better HHAHAHA. Well, the girl who played Frida Kahlo was very good- that was obvious even if I couldn't really understand what she was saying. I'm sure the play was awesome dawsome, especially if I knew what was going on. The native speakers seemed to really like it. Then Mrs. Thais drove Thea, Julian, Scott, and me back home and she kindly explained it to us (=. Hi Scott, you made my day HAHA! Hi Thea, I missed you 'cause I just NEVER see you HAHA! Hi Julian, it's me, the typical azn D=< HAHA! Well, that was a new experience...I'd do it again once I take 5 more years of spanish. HAHA!

This upcoming week is going to be quite busy 'cause it is concert week and freshmen orientation! In the midst of tech rehearsals, dress rehearsals, and the concerts, I shall attempt to fit My Guy rehearsals, Algernon rehearsals, and Sonnets rehearsals...JOY! I love being busy HAHA.

Go to WHS Choirs' Spring Pops Concert this Thursday and Friday, May 20th and the 21st at 7 p.m.! Please support us! It would mean a lot to me! (=

FEELING: =D GUH-REAT 'CAUSE I'M TALKING TO KARISSA!
HAHA I know you liked that Karissa!

Well, Drama Banquet was today. After working on the dreaded math project with Vicky, Chester, and Rahim at Rahim's this afternoon, I went to Thea's to get ready except she wasn't home from shopping yet. HAHA. So Karissa came and then we both got ready at Thea's without Thea until like 5:50 p.m. HAHA that chick rushed like no other 'cause banquet starts at 6:00 p.m. So Thea, Karissa, and I dressed up kinda YAY (=. We got there "fashionably late" HAAH Thea! Aw banquet was nice. I really loved it. Loved the hilarious performances, loved the awards, loved the senior video. MAN I'm so sad. This year has been awesome dawsomely memorable and all the seniors are leaving ))))=. Afterwards, Scott jammed Karissa, Shaina, Jeeyoung, Julian, Christian, and me into his car and we headed off to The Village for ice cream. We bumped into my dancer babes: Liz, Vicky, and Betty! So we played at Coldstone and stuff. We seriously never fail to have fun. I love you guys!!! I shall post up pictures asap!

    FEELING: =DDDD ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIC!!!
First of all I would like to say: HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIM!!!

WOW what an awesome dawsome week it has been!!! I love having only 3 academic classes now...after 3rd I do nothing JOY! Today was especially good so I'll write about my full day for once...breakdown:
Before school: So I was woken up by Thea's call this morning about the choir welcoming party before school. Then I drifted off to sleep again and 2 minutes later, Yumi reminds me about it. So I go to the party...well the last 15 minutes of it anyway. YAY free breakfast! Good Job everyone who made the choir they wanted to be in. YAY one last year of show choir for me....I'm lovin' it!
1st: Performed our scenes for Taming of the Shrew YAY.
2nd: Had a very cool substitute so we barely did anything YAY.
3rd: Had a not so very cool substitute but class was better than if Davies was there YAY.
4th: Ate popcorn from Marissa (Thanks babe!) while watching Zorro and The Patriot YAY.
Lunch: Got called to ASB where I found out I made Junior Honor Guard! WOW was I shocked! I was very very very suprised...but happy YAY =DDD! GOOD JOB to the rest of this year's Junior Honor Guard: Curtis, Alice, Andrew, Stephanie, Matt, Shawna, Jerry, Angie, Mike L, Cathie, James, Christi, Jay, Mike T, and Nikki! So they gave us a pizza party and sashes/crowns and balloons; how nice! So James and I laughed at ourselves 'cause we're two misfits in the group of all perfect IB people. HARHAR high five James! So I thank Julian the "Shinobi" for his help on sprucing my resume and essay up during the application process. It was bomb AWESOME. Thanks dude! So I was really sure I wouldn't make it and I was like, "Julian, if I make Honor Guard, I'll buy you In-n-Out." WELL, now I have to buy him In-n-Out HAHA.
5th: Rehearsed for next weeks Pops Concert that everyone reading this is going to go to =D.
6th: Watched Jeeyoung's and Julian's awesome musical comedy presentation. Wow did Thea and I hate them afterward. Freaking Julian who just HAD to prove he's the best, even in a musical comedy presentation, or as he says, he HAD to prove that he could beat my presentation. "I stayed up till 5 A.M. writing the scene 'cause you challenged me!" So maybe I shouldn't have challenged him but MAN, you loser I hate you!!!! Okay well not really cause what we SHOULD do is stop being so competitive (with each other at least 'cause being competitive with other schools is cool man.) HAHA. Then I sat backstage for the rest of the period talking to awesome people.
After school: I watched 'Assumptions', one of the one-act plays for the May Show which everyone reading this is going to go to! It was awesome dawsome. Very freaking hilarious...props you guys props!!!! Then Elaine picked Thea and I up and we went to get Robeks, then McDee's (where we bumped into Jeeyoung, Frank, Christian, and Julian...man those gangsters HAHA), and then Rubio's. WOW we are eating machines. Talked a lot too. Man Thea and I understand each other like no other. We are 99.9% the same geebus! Then we chilled at Thea's until DANCE PRODUCTION! Dude this year's Dance Production: too freaking AWESOME DAWSOME for words. You've had to have seen it yourself. I'm so proud of everyone!!!! AGHHH! Good job my dears: Vicky, Liz, Betty, Britni, Debbie, Karlie, Angel, Karissa, Queenie, Isis, Laura, Cat, EVERYONE!!!!! I was so proud; I really wanted to cry HAHAHA! Good job guys! I have such talented friends- lucky me!!! Afterward, we bombarded all the performers YAY. So I had to wait so long to get picked up...THANKS Elaine for waiting with me even though you didn't have to! YAY awesome week and it'll continue to be so I hope!

    FEELING: =D AWESOME DAWSOME!!!!!!!
YAYYYYYYYYYY my U.S. AP test is FINALLY over! So I studied for like 5 hours straight after school (I didn't ditch school cause I had to perform for the Drama Showcase during 5th and 6th periods. Good job guys!) yesterday at Starbucks with half of the poeple in U.S. HAHA....mainly with the "cool" WTF clan aka James, Andy, and Daniel. We were productive. Good job guys. We learned more from each other than we learned from Nelson. So this morning, I came into the MPR late and stuff and took the gay thing. Multiple choice kicked my butt and I, being the retard that I am, didn't know we could omit answers so I answered them all even though I had absolutely no clue about some of them. ))))= DBQ was gay; I didn't remember anything about the French and Indian War. The free response essays were eh. I should've learned my IDs better. Well, I really really hope I passed. Anyway, my day after the AP rocked. Yumi came over to play for a while after school and then left. Then Liz picked me up and we went to the happiest place on earth! Dude I was so happy. SO SO SO SO HAPPY cause I hadn't been to Disneyland since December! HAHAHA so we rode the Tower of Terror in California Adventure and it was my first time. Dude that thing ROCKS! Go ride it you guys! Then we visited Kate in Autopia and met her up after her shift. We then met up at her dorm at Chapman and went to eat in The Circle. Dude that area is freaking gorgeous. I fell in love. So we had dinner at Bybola's. It was great seeing Kate again. So I had mediterranean food for the first time: falaffel and blahkavah. OMGOSH so awesomely good and healthy. Man what a good night. Disneyland and great food. Thanks Liz you nerd! "Oh oh oh!" Telepathy!!!!! Rice! Bonding YEAHHHHH! Talking the minutes away yay.

AGH! I'm so relieved 'cause May SAT's are over, over, over! So Vicky took me to South Hills today and I took Writing and U.S. History. Wow U.S. was kinda hard even though I finished reading the REA review sections after competition last night. Writing was..eh. I hope I did okay. Then Vicky's mommy kindly bought Vicky and me In-n-Out and I'm gonna go to Target right now to develop prom pictures and buy posterboard for Thea and my musical comedy presentation (which is gonna ROCK) and then I'm gonna head on to Thea's and attempt to get some productive work done.

Yesterday was SO MUCH FUN! It was the Women's Ensemble's last show choir competition of the year and it was the BEST high school show choir competition I've been to so far (The Disneyland show choir competition in 8th was also very memorable. Right, Thea?!). After school, we drove all the way to Redlands Bowl in Redlands for the Starlight Sensational 2004 hosted by Redlands East Valley High School. I studied for gay SATs the next day on the 1 and a half hour drive there. The Bowl was very cool 'cause it was an outdoor amphitheater with an open stage. We first watched the Redlands East Valley High School Reveliers, which was their men's show choir. It was really cool. I give props to guys who are in all-guy show choirs. Then we watched the mixed divisions and dude, they were SO AWESOME. Every school was so freaking talented and anyone who's never seen really good mixed show choirs are missing out like crazy. We were so impressed, espeicially by the guys. Like Irene said in her xanga, any guy who has enough guts to be in a show choir and have honest fun are HOT (It also helps that they can sing and dance). But yeah, the mixed choirs had such good musicality and creative choreography. After that, we ate. I ate so much with Irene. We had hot dogs, a strawberry pineapple shaved ice, and the BEST kettle popcorn in the world. Dude that popcorn was so so good HAHAHA. Then it was time for the Women's division, which was also our division. We performed third and it was the competition where I had so much fun that I didn't worry about the technical stuff. Everyone looked like they were having so much fun. YAY props girls! After we performed, Lopez gave us props. SO WEIRD 'cause Lopez ain't like that. She said we were so much fun to watch and that anyone had to love it. HAHAHA wow were we happy. Then we watched the rest of the girls choirs and then our host school performed for us. The Redlands East Valley High Sweet Sensations are so GOOD. I couldn't tear my eyes away. The glow-in-the-dark stuff was too cool. Then came the awards! We did GREAT: 3rd in Showmanship, 2nd in Musicality, and 2nd Overall! YAYY!!! We were so happy! What a great way to end the show season (((=. Show choir competitions are the essense of show choir man. And of course, competitions would not be as awesome without the FAB 5! I love you girls! Yumi, Mich, Irene, Mildrey, Helen: "We're cute!"

    FEELING: )=> BLAHHH
Hello! Today, the South Pointe choirs came to visit during 5th period and my LAMDA exam took place after school.

After lunch, we hurriedly got dressed and then a bunch of South Pointe choir people filled the front of the choir room. Sadly, Mrs. Owens isn't their director anymore. So we performed 2 of our classical pieces and they seemed to really like it. Then they performed 2 of their show pieces for us. Omgosh it was SO CUTE. The 8th grade show choir has some awesome dawsome solo voices and there are some great dancers there. The guys were too cute. It reminded Thea and me so much of show choir in 8th grade except their choreography is a lot simpler and generic. How we miss it! But dude, most of those kids are coming to Walnut next year and that's good stuff. Good voices. (= Boy was I proud to be a South Pointe alumni. HAHA. Then we performed 2 of our show songs. They were a bit rough since we hadn't done them for at least a month but it was okay. It was fun stuff!

I felt so BLAH for the LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts) exam. I tried rehearsing a bit during 6th period but my heart wasn't in it. I didn't want to do it and I was tired and scared. Almost everyone who had already gone had passed. You either fail, pass, pass with distinction, or pass with honors. No one had gotten more than a pass. That made me even more nervous. Before I went, Frank told me that the examiner was the hardest one he had ever gotten for LAMDA (Today was his third time taking it). Great! So when my turn came, I went in there and performed my 3 monologues for the British lady:

  • Laura from The Interview: Agh I was nervous. I think I sped it up a little bit. Gestures weren't as big as I did for the class. The examiner agreed with Ms. Karr's earlier critique: the table I used limited my physical acting. However, she liked that I quickly established the situation. She also said that I had a pleasant vocal quality.
  • Portia from Julius Caesar: Blocking was better than any of the times I performed it for class since I had 3 times the room than I usually had. Moved Brutus downstage. I think that helped. The examiner was in accord for she said the acting area was used well. She also said that I was feeling the "natural colour and weight of the words" but that I should incorporate "more facial play and vocal technique". Leave it to me to pick a Shakespearean piece to perform for an English woman who knows Shakespeare like the back of her hand!
  • Blossom from Cakes With the Wine: Out of all the times I've done it, today's was the best. The examiner seemed to think so too for she put that it was my strongest piece. Weird, since this was the monologue I liked the least. Karr said it was probably the strongest 'cause I've had the most time to work with this one. I guess so. I upstaged the imaginary characters though.

So the examiner was really sweet and nice but boy, was she a tough grader. Knowing that made me so much more nervous. SO, the verdict: I passed! When the lady told me, I was like "Oh. Cool." Karr said, "You don't look very happy. Why not? You passed!!" I AM happy but I guess I would be happier if I actually really wanted to do it. The only reason I continued with it was because Karr would've killed me if I decided to drop out. So that made me rehearse all my pieces last minute. I wasn't ecstatic with my performances because I didn't give it my all and that's the worst feeling a performer can have...knowing that you didn't give it your all.

    Awesomebraceface: how'd it go??
    twinkelNsparkle: hi
    twinkelNsparkle: it was okay
twinkelNsparkle: my heart wasnt in it
    twinkelNsparkle: i passed
    twinkelNsparkle: almost everyone just passed
    Awesomebraceface: :-O
    twinkelNsparkle: i know
Awesomebraceface: well i'm sure you would've done better if you were more enthusiastic about it
    Awesomebraceface: don't worry
Awesomebraceface: seriously.. at least you know that you weren't enthusiastic
Awesomebraceface: cause you're an "awesome dawesome" actress.. that was forced into continuing with lamda
Awesomebraceface: so if you want a distinction or honors.. you be competitive like julian and strive for that "alam"
    Awesomebraceface: but you're AWESOME!
    twinkelNsparkle: uh
    Awesomebraceface: you passed!
    Awesomebraceface: :-D
    twinkelNsparkle: i suck
    twinkelNsparkle: hahaha
    Awesomebraceface: uh
    Awesomebraceface: you don't
twinkelNsparkle: im writing about it in my blog
^Everyone needs a Jeeyoung in their lives! =D

Well, it was an experience. I don't think I'd ever do it again though! HAHA dude I am exhausted. I want to knock out. )x

    FEELING: (= UPBEAT
So I should be doing my week's worth of spanish homework that just so happens to be due tomorrow or rehearsing for my LAMDA exam that is taking place tomorrow afternoon or studying for SAT II's that's going be on this Saturday or studying for my AP that is going to come next Friday but as you can see, I'm not doing any of those things. The Internet and AIM are drugs. I waste time and then I'm always tired the next day:

xxxomgitsej: hahah my sleeping habits have passed on
    twinkelNsparkle: hahah whatchu mean
xxxomgitsej: all you do in nelsons class is sleep now
xxxomgitsej: im like 2 days now w/out sleeping
    twinkelNsparkle: shutup
    xxxomgitsej: hhahhah
xxxomgitsej: ima bring a camera one time

HAHA all EJ and I ever do in US is laugh at each other when the other is nodding off and sleeping. It's quite amusing. =D

It's been very very hot these days and according to weather.com, the temperature is gonna go down. JOY! So we (Women's Ensemble) had a choir classical festival tonight. SCVA (Southern California Vocal Association) hosted it at Baldwin Park High School. There were 7 (I think) schools there. Treble Choir also went and every school were not that awesome. Treble did great! Good job you guys! While sitting through classical choral songs with a full bladder, I tried to be productive and practiced some of my monologues. I made Yumi cry...in a good way. Thanks secret admiree! So we went last. On the bus ride home, Lopez informed us that the judges seemed to love us 'cause we got straight Superiors. She also said that she had never gotten such high scores from any judge. YAY!!!!! We redeemed ourseles. HAHAHA. Treble got Superior too...YAY GO WALNUT!!! But...

JULianTHECOOLian: hahah so lopez took you to a pity festival, huh?

YEAH, but WHO CARES!!!! So we're performing our show for South Pointe tomorrow and our last show choir competition is this Friday. YAY!

Dude, I can't wait for this year to be over. I want to be a senior already! Math Anal with Davies is KILLING me. I don't know what's worse: his difficult tests and lack of teaching or his thinking that his math jokes are funny. Actually I do. His tests SUCK. )'=

Anyway, I think people who derive pleasure from seeing other people get hurt are truly sadistic. STOP IT DUDE D:<

    Well...due to "encouragement":

xxxomgitsej: dood you should seriously start hw

twinkelNsparkle: so i didnt rehearse forr lamda
    twinkelNsparkle: HAHAHA
twinkelNsparkle: i guess illd o that during 6th tomorrow
    twinkelNsparkle: bye
    JULianTHECOOLian: tsk tsk
    JULianTHECOOLian: NO
    JULianTHECOOLian: rehearse now
twinkelNsparkle: i didnt even start hw yet
twinkelNsparkle: i have a weeks worth of spanish hw
    JULianTHECOOLian: NOW
    JULianTHECOOLian: NOW
twinkelNsparkle: she gave us 1 week
    twinkelNsparkle: and its due tomorow
twinkelNsparkle: and i didnt do it
JULianTHECOOLian: if you do it during 6th
    JULianTHECOOLian: you won't do well
twinkelNsparkle: are you saying that from experience
    JULianTHECOOLian: guaranteed
JULianTHECOOLian: but you must rehearse at least the night before
JULianTHECOOLian: rehearsing in the mornin doesn't help much
    twinkelNsparkle: sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
    JULianTHECOOLian: tsk tsk

    ...I'm gonna start working.

    FEELING: )=< AGGRAVATED
[EDIT] I'm having a really silly conversation with Thea right now and I remembered something that made me laugh realy hard yesterday night. Sujin, Angie, Shawna, and I were in line to get food and Angie said something to me and I said something back and then:
    Angie: HAHA Helen you're funny!
Me: HAHA. Wait...are you being sarcastic?
Angie: What? HAHAHA. No, you're really funny!
Me: HAHAHA COOL MAN Angie thinks I'm funny!
    Shawna: Helen, you're not funny!
Me: Angie, did you hear that? Shawna just said I wasn't funny...isn't that funny?! HAHAHAH!
Sujin, Angie, Shawna: Omgosh Helen you're so weird.
YEAH WELL I THOUGHT IT WAS FUNNY. Like, "HAHAHA" kind of funny, ya know?! =D[/EDIT]

Dude it is HOT. I just got back from Thea's house and my mother is driving me crazy because my progress report just came. It's the usual stuff: she thinks I don't care about my schoolwork and all that stuff and all I want to do is play. She rants about my constant 'failures'. OH MY GOSH that freaking hurts like crazy and let me just sit here and cry and let her yell and let her think what she wants to think 'cause she's a stubborn lady who never changes her mind. I really hope I prove her wrong soon. FREAKING AGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Yesterday was prom! It was pretty cool man.

On Friday after school, Danny kindly gave Thea, Jeeyoung, and me a ride to the Brea mall. Thanks you Danny! Jeeyoung and I got "professional haircuts" at Carlton's. I have never paid so much for a haircut. Jeeyoung's new hairdo looks awesome though! Then we ate 'cause we need food like that and then Thea and I went to get our nails done. It was my first time and the lady got quite frustrated with me 'cause I wanted what they couldn't do. HARHAR muchas gracias Jeeyoung for debating for me. I swear you're like my mommy sometimes. HAHAHA. Thanks you for singing to me that night. What would I do without you!

Yesterday morning, I woke up and took a shower. Then Daddy and I picked up Jeeyoung and he dropped us off at Karlie's house. There, Karlie and Brooke did my hair with Jeeyoung's advice here and there and ongoing entertainment. My hair turned out awesome dawsome. Talented girls Karlie and Brooke are. Good thing they're perfectionists (They spent almost an hour on my part. HAHA!). Thea came later and Jeeyoung scared her by telling her before she came in that my hair looked horrible and that she should leave and she was like "Shut UP. Omg I'm leaving..." HAHAHAHAH dude that was so funny. Then Thea did my eyes and I left for 3 sad hours at Alpha. After that, Mommy took me to Sharon's house where I got ready with her, Yvonne, and Sandy. Then the guys came with Christina and Jon but my date was tied up and so he met us at school. Met up with everyone else and took pictures. Then went to the Long Beach Convention Center where it was really nice and cool. Everyone looked absolutely spiffy. We ate and then danced and then took the hugest group picture then danced and then at 10, I left to the coat check for the Coronation. Dude the coronation was SO FUN. Tammy and I got to announce the winners of the 2004 Prom Court: CONGRATS NATE MULDER AND KATHERINE PARK FOR PROM KING AND QUEEN AND COURTNEY QUIROS AND YVONNE HSUING FOR PROM PRINCE AND PRINCESS! It was cool man! Then danced some more and that was fun stuff.

So after all those months of planning and working (endless lunch hours spent tying ribbons, doing favors, discussing, and practicing) with the rest of the Junior Cabinet, Prom 2004 has come and gone. It was a memorable experience and I was sad that my camera ran out of film. HAHA. Thanks to everyone in the group; thanks to Tammy for being my co-announcer; and last but not least, thanks to Sisco for being my cool date who tried to make everything as nice as possible!

    FEELING: |= ENERVATED
Wow I am the ultimate slacker/procrastinator. I've had no homework yesterday or today and SAT II's are next week and AP testing is a few days after that. What have I done to prepare for those? Nothing! The amount of stuff to relearn for U.S. is too overwelhming...someone tell me to go study or something! Another sign of slackerness: Yesterday, I performed my 3 LAMDA monologues for 6th period and wow, I didn't have that 3rd monologue until the night before (thanks to Jeeyoung) and I didn't practice my other 2. So I winged it for the class. How sad...they only see what I can do by preparing the night before. HAHA. Someone tell me to stop preparing monologues/scenes the night before the acutal performance. Also, Junior Honor Guard applications were due today and guess when I started doing it? Yup: Yesterday night. HAHA. So I had no idea what to do but thanks to Julian, I had a nice and flowery application by 1:30 a.m. Thanks you loserish ninja who thinks I have a better chance of getting in only if I have his help cause he has no confidence in me =D:

[EDIT]I added Jeeyoung and my booth pictures from Saturday to this entry! (= [/EDIT]

WOW Pitas was down for a while and I was going to be quite angry if it deleted all my previous entries like last time. Luckily, that didn't happen! Cool man! (=

Dude, Spring Break is going to be over in a few hours. I haven't really written much about it since Monday so here goes:
Tuesday- We couldn't film the car scene for 'Seatbelt' 'cause Franko had to be a busy boy and not be able to make it so Jeeyoung, Karissa, and I went to Julian's house. Sadly, he wasn't feeling that great so we girls just chilled. After Karissa left, Jeeyoung and I walked to the Village and Julian called me and said Austin was looking for us. We found him and planned Jeeyoung and my ditching of Alpha. So Mommy took Jeeyoung and me to Alpha and we ditched it, bought korean/japanese food with my mommy's monies, and Austin drove us back to Julian's. Sadly, Austin couldn't stay and play. So Julian, Jeeyoung, and I ate the grip load of food but Julian couldn't take it (We didn't know it was possible for Julian not to eat until then.) and went to lie down in front of the TV like a lazy bum. Meanwhile, Jeeyoung and I cleaned his house 'cause we're nice people like that. Then I watched Naruto! I'm a ninja (= HAHA. That evening, Andy, Andrea, Phillip, Lisa, Andrew, and Debbie picked the 3 of us up for the the taping of the 'Seatbelt' memorial scene. It was nice and cold. HAHA (=
Wednesday- Filmed the guys/girl's car scene for 'Seatbelt. That was a lot of fun. Right, Karissa?! HAHA. Then Andrew, Christian, Jeeyoung, Karissa, Julian, and I went to the Village for Rubio's and then walked to Julian's house yet again. We played pool like always and I watched Naruto again! (= Good stuff. Then Jane picked me up and we went shopping for prom shoes. Jane bought very very spiffy shoes and I bought some that I later found out Icouldn't walk in 'cause I'm a loser who can't walk on high heels. HARHAR. Then I went to Michael's for stuff to sew onto my dress/shoes. Had Souplantation for dinner. Good stuff. I'm a pig.
Thursday- Went shopping with Sisco. We ate at the cafe' in Nordstroms and had the bestest sandwiches in the world. Oh MAN. Food rocks. Then we went tux shopping and got a really awesome dawsome deal at his brother's best friend's mom's place. Go to Alex's Tux Shop in WestCo! Then we went corsage shopping. It was great: the lady was so nice! Then he dropped me off at Alpha and I had to sit through yet another verbal session with the infamous Mister Kim. After that, I went to Irene's house with the rest of the Fab 5. She bought us all awesome dawsome japanese dinners. They made me eat all the California Rolls. I'm a beast HAHA. Then Yumi, Irene, Mich, Mildrey, and I rehearsed for "My Guy", which we are going to try out for, for the Spring Pops Concert in May. Sisco then surprised me...thanks you!!!
Friday- Went to Kim's house to film for the Spanish presentation. Scott, Kim, Helen, and I weren't very productive but we got some stuff done. We played with Kim's webcam like crazy:
Helen and Helen De veras?! How funny! We're good at pouting! It's Kim's cool hat Me, Scott, Helen Fish! No way! Helen, Scott, me, Kim Kim has big eyes! Profile of the Kim Helen and Helen happy pappy Helen hit her head Kim poking Helen Scott and Kim's creative horizontal heads HAHAHAHAHAH look at Scott's butt! Yikes! Kim's finger! Scott attacked me with the cookie monster RAWR be afraid! Scott, me, Kim, and our little friends Me and Kim being gangster scary Kim's picking her eye Just the four of us!
After working really hard (HAHA!), Scott kindly dropped me off at Julian's house. There, Jeeyoung and I rehearsed our DTASC Shakespeare scene once for our non-lazy, very dedicated, so diligent, encouraging, helpful, non-procrastinating director Julian. Then Jeeyoung and I made chili without the help of Julian. We met J.R. and JanJan. Played pool and lost. Unbelievable, I know but you know, there's a first tiem for everything! HAHA just kidding! Then they took me home and I waited until 1:30 in the morning for Jeeyoung to come over for a sleepover. We were too tired to rehearse our scene again so we decided to wake up at 5:00 the next morning to rehearse before we had to meet everyone else up at 7:00 a.m.
Saturday- Well, Julian called woke me up at 6:45 a.m. (Thank goodness or Jeeyoung and I wouldn't have woken up), wanting a sewing needle (Don't ask.). I screamed for Jeeyoung to wake up 'cause we were gonna be late. We hurried to the Donut Tree by 7:15 a.m. Mrs. Aalund drove Katie, ANdrew, Tiffany, Jeeyoung, Julian, and me to Centennial High School for the annual DTASC (Drama Teachers Association of Southern California) Shakespeare Competition/Festival. It was very cold/windy/gloomy/RAINY and being the losers we were, Jeeyoung and I had forgotten jackets so Andrew and Julian kindly lent us theirs. Thanks you gentlemen! We really appreciated it! So we met up with Ms. Karr, listened to the opening assembly, and then split off to our category rooms. Julian performed two monologues (Marrulus from 'Julius Caesar' and Trinculo from 'The Tempest') for the Audition category; Katie, Andrew, Tiffany, and Jason performed a scene from 'Merry Wives of Windsor' for the Large Group catefory, and Jeeyoung and I performed a scene from 'Two Gentlemen of Verona' for the Two-Person Humorous category. We met a lot of really cool people who all love theatre (good stuff!) and Shakespeare (Shakespeare...SHUDDER!). Jeeyoung and I felt we did mediocre in Round 1 and better in Round 2. Then we all met up for lunch. We ate at Carls, Jr. and then went back to see who made it to semi-finals. Jeeyoung and I made semi-finals! We were SO happy 'cause we thought we did horrible but we were blessed to land a spot in the semi-finals. So Julian, Katie, Tiffany, Andrew, Jason, and Jason's parents came to watch us in semi-finals. That was nerve-wracking. We did the best we could and then went to Baskin RObbins for ice cream...Yum! So Jeeyoung and I didn't make it to finals but that's okay. We did better than we thought we would do, considering we rehearsed the scene 3 times tops. The best part about DTASC was getting semi-finals because that meant Jeeyoung's going to be in drama next year! HAHA YAYYYYY!!!! Jeeyoung, you promised! After that, Jeeyougn and I went to her house and then went to the mall. Good stuff. We took some booth pictures:
    Jeeyoung's copy My copy
Then we went back to her house and she typed about my spring break in my xanga so check there for more details.
Sunday (Today)- Rick came over to fix my computer...thank you very much! Then Scott picked me up and we went to Kim's house to finish the Spanish filming. Then Kim and I went to Rubio's. YUM! Now I'm home, blogging. AGH LAMDA performances are tomorrow and I haven't even picked my third monologue. I really wish I wasn't doing it. I could be stress-free right now if I wasn't. Freaking LAMDA exam!

So spring break was quite busy but fun. As you can see, I spent most of it with the awesome Jeeyoung and the great Julian. How awesomely great! HAHA, it was cool man!

    FEELING: (= A-OKAYYYYYY!
Day 1 of spring break was fun! Jeeyoung and I went to Jen's house to meet everyone (Karissa, Debbie, Christian, Julian, Rachel, and Caroline) up for the 'Seatbelt' taping. Deb put makeup on us girls so we looked like we were all cut up and bruised. Then we filmed the crash scene. Karissa and I had to scream so much. It was great: AGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH LET US OUT AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH CALL 911 AGHHHHHHHHH OMGOSH OMGOSH JEN'S DEAD AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH SOMEBODY HELP US AGHHHHHHHHH! I think I got a real bruise now 'cause I hit my left eye on Julian's knee when he was trying to help me out of the car. Yes I tried to play it off like it didn't hurt and when they stopped filming....OWWWWWWW! A lot of help he was. HAHA just kidding! After filming, Jeeyoung, Karissa, Julian, and I went to eat at McDees and I made a fool of myself 'cause I accidentally threw a tray away and the McDee's girl gave me a look when she reached into the trashcan to get it out. -_- HAR. Then we went to the Village and did dares. It was SO HILARIOUS. I feel sorry for anyone who had to witness our dares. HAHAHA we have no shame. Then we walked to Julian the Coolian's house and we saw Mike on the way! Yeah then we played pool and Karissa and I rocked. HAHAHA. She ate it like crazy on the slippery floor; it was freaking funny. Oh man. Then Mrs. Guerra treated Karissa, Jeeyoung, and me to Robeks and now Jeeyoung and I are at my house. She is going to live here for practically all of the break. JOY!

    FEELING: (= NICE
Here are the 2 other Cue pictures from last Thursday. I added these to the other 10 which are under the entry for April 1, 2004:
    AUUGGGGHHHH!!!!! We really are!

Click here to listen to "Bridge Over Troubled Water as performed by the awesome Stef Montemayor and the 2002-2003 WHS Women's Ensemble! Just excuse the show choir boxes and character shoes in the background. Dude it was my favorite song that we performed last year. ((((=

I'm such a loser. I went to the choir general meeting today and listened to Lopez explain everything about choir and the audition process even though I know it all and I'm not trying out for Chamber ('cause show choir rocks) and then I chilled with Yumi and Austin while they had the officer meeting 'cause Frank-o was taking us home. Hey Frank-o we'll play again soon! (=

    FEELING: |= WHATEVER
So Guys&Dolls is over. The second week was awesome: both Friday and Saturday night were sold out. Thanks to everyone who made it great. I worked with the most wonderful people...I love you all like crazy! Yeah the Hot Box dancers ROCK (o; Click here for a picture of us (Thanks Shaina Pancake!)

On Friday, I went to school for 3 boring periods and then left with the rest of the Women's Ensemble for competition at the Fullerton Jazz Festival. It didn't feel like a competition but we did the best we could. Fab 5 and Soul Sista always make competition fun. It was a huge festival. A lot of groups were there and a lot of recruit groups were there too. There was a Disneyland Parade booth...cool man! We did our best and then left at around 3ish because some of us had to be back in time for the musical. We found out the scores online later that night since we didn't stay for awards and we got 4th. AGHHH -_-. Anyway, after we got back from Fullerton College, Mildrey and I went to her house and chilled and got ready. Then we got to school for the musical. We performed and after the show, Sisco asked me to prom with a dozen pink roses. WOW THANKS BUDDY! =DDDD

I overslept the next morning. I was supposed to be at Mt. SAC for the relays for Key Club at 7 a.m. but I had overslept. I'm sorry Andrew! I then went to Alpha for too many hours and then went home to get my stuff and then shuttled to school for Guys&Dolls. The closing night crowd was the bestest. Great stuff. I couldn't go to the cast party afterward, which was kind of depressing. My mommy swears like there's going to be alcohol and sex at a musical cast party with directors and parents there. Geebus. Hearing your parents talk crap about you while they think you're not listening sucks. I try to be a good daughter. I really do.

In a perfect world, there would be more hours in a day and I would have more understanding parents. But you know what? I'm grateful for everything I have right now. I really am blessed.

Agh 1 more week until Spring Break!

    FEELING: =D GREAT!
Wow I'm sick again. How lovely. However, I got a great homemade tonic today...thanks Sisco! After school, I went to Alpha for a while (Yes, I'm back...isn't that sad -_-) and then Frank, Jeeyoung, Christian, and Julian picked me up and we went to eat to celebrate for the talent show victory! Thea, you were sorely missed! We went to Joe's Crab Shack and that was...an experience. It was everyone's first time except for Julian's. We didn't think it was that great and like Frank said, because we're food-oriented people, if the food isn't good, we're not happy anymore! Yup. Then we left to go to Cue 'cause Frank wanted pictures. Hover over each thumbnail for a description and click to enlarge:
Dude are we cool or what! I know you love the manly background! We're royalty! We have awesome hairdos! We're merely expressing our feelings about Joe's Crab Shack! This is the epitome of asianess! Close-up! It's like a music video! Julian HAS to be in the spotlight! This is the BEST of all...we're freaking attractive! AUUGGGGHHHH!!!!! We really are!
HAHAH. It was everyone's first time there except for Frank's and it was cool man! Lots of fun! We were retarded and didn't know how to make those pictures pretty so the girl had to help us. It became really asiany. HAHAHA. Dude, that was great. We have fun no matter what!

FEELING: (= THANKFUL 'CAUSE IT'S FRIDAY
Wow so I'm usually tired during school but I seriously couldn't stay awake during my spanish test no matter what I did so I hurriedly filled in whatever, turned it in, and went to sleep. After a while, I thought, I should get up...the bell will ring soon. When I woke up, there were only about 2 more people finishing their tests up and everyone else was gone...I had slept through the bell! HAHAHA...yeah I thought that was quite amusing. HAR =D

Anyway, tonight(Friday) was the second night of Guys&Dolls. It went really well. The audience loved Andrew and Frank ((((=. I love standing backstage to listen to audience reactions to the scenes. Thanks to Elaine for making my night! Afterward, Thea, Jeeyoung, Karissa, Shaina, and I walked to Thea's house and we played in her jacuzzi. It was great stuff. So much fun HAHA. Then Mrs. Thais made us a fantabulous dinner which we devoured on her family room floor. Thanks to Mistress Jeeyoung and Shaina Pancake for listening to me worry. HAHA. Mrs. Han took me home and man, now we all know where Jeeyoung gets her funniness (corniness?). I love those goiwls...if ya know what I mean!

I'm going to be spending all weekend on my junior research paper...AGHHHHHHHH! Why must I do everything last minute? Oh yeah, 'cause I'm a slacker and a procrastinator. Procrastinacker? Slacrastinator? YEAH wasn't that clever!

We (except Frank who was moody 'cause he was hungry) competed over the kids' activity books and ate and talked. We have fun no matter what we do, right?! HAHAHA. Then Frank dropped Karissa, Karlie, and me off at Karlie's house after much debate and we played and got ready. I love Karlie's room(s)! They're the absolute BEST. She has one of those rooms that could rival the ones in the movies. It is the epitome of a girl. AHAHA. Then Karissa left and Mrs. Harstad got us really excited 'cause she would pop her head in and say "Are you excited yet?!" HAHAHA. After we got ready, we packed some cookies for Frank and Julian 'cause we had annoyed them on the way to Karlie's house. Then we went to school, warmed up, got ready, and did our best. Opening night wasn't perfect but the audience responded really well, especially to Frank...YAY GO SKY!!!! Cool man! Jeeyoung made my night...thanks babe!!! I really love that redhead =DDD and I also really love Karissa...she never fails to make me laugh! HAHAHA *blow in eye*! Then Christian left and Karissa and I played pool with the boys. FEELING: =DDDD SO ECSTATIC !!!!!
First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY THEA!!!!!! HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY BETTY (3/16)!!!!! HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY MICH (3/15)!!!!!!

SO I'M FREAKING HAPPY...I COULD CRY! So tonight was the talent show or "Walnut's Star Search." Thea, Jeeyoung, Julian, Christian and I have had barely any time to rehearse since the auditions because of lunch conflicts, weekend conflicts, and musical rehearsals. By last night, we were desparate 'cause we needed to get the scene down. So we squeezed a rehearsal in at my house and today at lunch and the last 15 minutes of Drama. Today's musical rehearsal ended at 6:15 and we ran to Thea's to rehearse one last time. We got to school right at 7 and rehearsed, incorporating the props. We were worried about the competition because there were so many good groups. So we performed in the middle. Although it wasn't flawless and projection was a problem since we didn't have mikes, we did our best and people seemed to like the Sonnets nontheless. We then watched the rest of the performances...good stuff good stuff! Then they announced the 1st and 2nd place winners of each of the 3 categories: Singing, Dancing, and Other Performances. CONGRATS TO ANDREW FOR GETTING 2ND PLACE IN SINGING AND JIMMY FOR GETTING SECOND PLACE IN OTHER PERFORMANCES! We fell under "Other Performances" and we didn't place so we were kinda bummed. Then they announced Grand Prize and TO OUR SHOCK, WE WON! THE SONNETS WON!!!! GOOD JOB YOU GUYS!!!! We were so HAPPY and we were jumping up and down and screaming like maniacs. We got a bouquet of flowers and a giant-asb made $150 check to redeem. After we exclaimed over everything, we happily left.

So I'm really happy and thankful. The Sonnets got recognized which meant that our acting abilities got recognized. Thanks to the Sonnets group: to Julian for letting me be a part of it, for being the bestest director, for being the playwright, and for being one of the co-stars; to Jeeyoung for being the most adorable co-star; to Thea for keeping everyone in check during rehearsals and for putting in your time for this even when today is your birthday; to Christian for being the funniest improv'er. Thanks to ASB for hosting the talent show. Thanks to the judges for recognizing us. Thanks to everyone who came to watch and support us. It was a great experience and I'm glad to have been a part of it. (=

Jackie recorded the show and I can't wait to watch ourselves! HAHA!

This week was good overall. Tuesday and Wednesday were late start days...GOOD STUFF! On Tuesday, I went to Coco's with everyone to eat. Good times! On Wednesday, I had to perform with the Women's Ensemble for the half-empty stadium HAHA. Then Sisco made my day...thanks buddy!

    FEELING: =D FREAKING GUH-REAT!
HI you guys! Today was quite busy. My mommy was irritated that I had no time to sign up for Alpha...again. But yea, Guys&Dolls rehearsal lasted from 9-3. It was tedious like always and everyone was really tired. After rehearsal, Thea, Jeeyoung, Karissa, and I walked to Thea's house to make last minute touches on the Sadies costumes. Then we got ready and the guys came over and got ready too (Thanks to Thea for letting us use her room even though we trashed it with all our stuff HAHA) and Julian brought me Filipino empanada to try for the first time...YUM. The costumes turned out pretty good ("Dude we look hot!" -Frank). Then we all headed to Sadies (my first dance this year because on Homecoming, I had the DTASC festival and on Winter Formal, I had the CETA festival.). Sadies was a lot of fun! I liked the couches and the gambling room and everyone was looking really spiffy. Ooh la la! So we took a bunch of pictures (My cheeks hurt 'cause the photographers took an eternity and a half), ate free junk (Free stuff rocks!), gambled (We played craps and blackjack. "Luck be a lady!" but Julian wasn't very lucky HAHA (=), talked and played with awesome people, rested (The gym was becoming a sauna.), danced (Duh.), and most of all, had a lot of FUN! Lots of smiles and laughs dude! But yea, I seriously had the BESTEST TIME...thanks to Julian for being the bestest date and the Drama 8 for being the bestest group! How I love you! =DDDDDDDDDDDDDDD After Sadies, I went with half of the Drama 8 and Julian/Frank's group to eat at Maxim Cafe. I had to leave early though and now I am home. I'm tired but today was GREAT...thanks again you guys! I shall post pictures as soon as we get them! (=

Oh yea! Thea, Jeeyoung, Julian, Christian, and I tried out for the talent show and we made it! YAY! Come support us on March 18 at 7pm!

  • Mister Priest is giving extra points to people if they go to Guys&Dolls and I get the extra points for just being in it! I don't even have to do a write-up or anything...cool stuff!
  • I forgot to bring pants for rehearsal today but Debbie saved me yet again by letting me borrow hers. THANKS dearie!
  • I was hungry and I didn't have money for food that people were gonna pick up for rehearsal today but Julian kindly bought me a McChicken sandwich..THANKS dude!
  • I made next year's Key Club Cabinet. YAY!! However, I can't go to the next few events we're supposed to go to 'cause I have Guys&Dolls rehearsals. How lovely.
  • The weather is getting much warmer. YAY! I love sunshine! "Sunshineeeeee gives me a lovely dayyyyy!"
  • I finished all my Sadies costume stuff and I just have to do Julian's pants...when he gets them.
  • Maestro Scott and Eric the Catig think I'm cool. I'm the POO without the stink, you guys!
  • Fab Five is gonna audition for the Spring Pops Concert!
  • I feel special 'cause people are trusting me to cut up their shirts and sew them for Sadies. Thanks guys!

    FEELING: (= SATISFYINGLY FULL
WOW my contact is bugging me like crazy. Absolutely spiffy! So Sharon and I went to the JV tennis game against Diamond Bar after school yesterday 'cause Chris and John came. Wow it was cool seeing them, considering we haven't seen them in foreve. Still the same old Chris and John though (=. After that, we met up with Tiff and Sharon and Tiff went to the French Movie night and Yumi came over and played. We had the scariest experience: We were walking back to my house from her house and it was about 6:30 p.m. and by then, it was already quite dark and scary outside. We were walking on the left side of the steet along Lemon Creek Park and saw this scary-looking middle-aged man on the same side of the street, walking towards us. So we crossed the street and walked on the other side and we thought, oh, as long as we pass him and keep going our way, we'll be okay. But right when we passed him, he looked at us and turned around and walked the same direction we were walking. So I started panicking a lot and was humming as a distraction and Yumi kept looking at him and going, Omg he's looking at us...omg omg omg while keeping a death grip on my arm. So we walked faster and he walked faster too. So we really freaked out and we turned into Mich's street and we ran all the way to her house and Kevin and she kindly gave us a ride back to my house. THANKS YOU GUYS!!! OMG never again. I have to drive soon dude. Well, Yumi ended up sleeping over yesterday night 'cause today was the show choir competition. We woke up today at 6:30 in the morning 'cause Yumi is crazy like that. Omgosh I don't even wake up that early for school. So I dozed off again while Yumi put on Crossroads. Then we got ready and walked to Mich's house...in broad daylight yes yes. Her daddy gave the 3 of us a ride to school and we loaded all our STUFF and we got to Los Alamitos High around 11ish. We ate lunch, warmed up, sang the Confidence Song, and then set our stuff. We were the first group to perform in our division. The worst thing about our performance today was that we didn't know how deep the stage would be outside of the curtain so we didn't give ourselves enough room when we set the boxes. Basically, the space was not enough for us and we were literaly crammed against each other. Arms whacked others, canes whacked other canes as well as people...it was a mess. However, we did the best we could under our conditions. Then we changed and watched the rest of the groups. I was so impressed...I really loved it. After our divison was the mixed division. It rocked. I loved that too. Awards came next and sadly, Walnut's Women's Ensemble did not place in the top 3 but that's okay. It's a dose of humility and a motivation to work harder for our next competition (=. After competition, we said byebye to Mich 'cause she couldn't join Fab Five for dinner. So Fab 4/5 (Yumi, Irene, Mildrey, and I) went to eat pho in Diamond Plaza. Man we were so happy 'cause we had food..and each other of course HAHA =D. We ate like crazy 'cause we're pigs like that and talked like crazy 'cause we're cute like that. HAHAHAAH "this is too cute, guys!" Then we walked around the plaza and bought a crepe for dessert even though we were all about to explode 'cause we had already eaten so much. HAHA. Man I love my Fab Five! Mich, you were missed! Chuck E. Cheese's next time babes! Boy am I tired. I could collapse. Bye you guys...thanks for reading, my fans! HAHA! (=

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELAINE!!!

Tonight was the WHS Choirs' Classical Concert...also known as the least entertaining concert of the year. However, the girls made it great...Fab Five, Mi Amor, and Soul Sistah! Yumi treated us to Bangkok BBQ...thanks babe! We had a feast in the choir room until it was time to perform. I ate so much...it was crazy. Doing half of our show for the classical concert was weird but that's only because Lopez didn't organize our pieces better...harHAR. Well, we were kinda entertaining I guess. YAY competition on Saturday! Now I have to do homework 'cause I had musical rehearsal after school and then I had to get ready for the concert so I didn't get to start. YAY.

    FEELING: |x DRAINED
I'm so tired! Nothing really significantly different happened today except for the fact that we performed our monologues for the class for the April LAMDA(London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts) exam today. Everyone did really well. I was so proud LOL. I was so scared 'cause being the slacker and procrastinator I am, I didn't even search for a piece until last night. Lovely, eh? A night is obviously not enough to comprehend the piece, memorize it, insert blocking, and build character. So the only thing I really accomplished in those few hours was getting the lines down(kind of). I did not have a solid character and blocking was basically nonexistent but I performed to the best of my ability with what I had done last night. So I definitely regret not spending time on it because with more work on it, it could've been better. My peformance wouldn't have just been "Oh shoot, what are my next lines?" but rather "Build on the character." Surprisingly, no one really noticed that I spent that little of time on it (YAY?) except for the slacker himself, Julian. HAHA he said, "I've been at that point where I wasn't prepared so I know how it feels." Nice to know I'm not alone...HAHA. I hate to admit it but Ms. Karr is doing all of us a favor by making us do all of this early. Main point of all this? BE PREPARED! 'Cause I know I learned my lesson. HAHA.

After school, we had a dress rehearsal for the choir concert tomorrow night. One word to sum it all up: Tedious. I really liked the Chamber Bass' in one of their songs. Thea, Mich, and I found their part quite amusing. LOL. Main point of this? I'm tired of rehearsals.

Thea, Jeeyoung, Christian, and I are auditioning for the talent show! We're going to perform the piece that we were going to use for DTASC Shakespeare but after we performed it for the class on Monday, Karr informed us and Julian (our director) that we couldn't use it. Although we were bummed, we're going to put it to good use in the talent show, May show, and next year's Cal Poly festival, according to Julian! Main point of this? I love the piece and I'm excited, dude!

I'm setting myself up for a terrible fall. I'm so confused.

    FEELING: (= HAPPY PAPPY
First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSH!!!! and HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY CHESTER!!! His birthday was yesterday.

So my mommy was already gone when I woke up this morning and she was supposed to take Jeeyoung and me to Thea's but luckily, Christian gave us a ride. We chilled at Thea's until Julian came and we chilled some more while Julian worked on the DTASC script. Man it's so fun even when we were doing practically nothing. We laughed like every other minute. (((= We were supposed to rehearse for the DTASC Shakespeare festival (which we did for 15 min) and work on Sadies stuff (which we didn't do) but not a lot got accomplished. HAHA I guess we're just going to wing it on Monday! Then Karissa came and we got ready to go to DBHS. We fit 7 people in Mrs. Thais' Lincoln. We were practically sitting on each other but yeah, it was crazy HAHA. So we watched DBHS' musical "Damn Yankees." They did really well. The leads had great voices, their costumes were great, etc. Very cool. We all wore our "Guys &Dolls" shirts/sweatshirts to advertise our musical and people asked us about it. HAHA. But yeah, they did a great job. We all learned from it. Most importantly, I had a great time with my drama babes...like always! Thanks guys!

Yesterday, I didn't have rehearsal...score! Yumi came over after school but she left in a while...feel better dearie! At night, Liz came over and we went to pick up Jane and then bought smoothies from Del Taco and went back to my house. We ate dinner: Liz tried duck for the first time and attempted to use chopsticks. HAHA! Then we watched Chicago and danced along with the musical numbers. We just chilled most of the time. Fun stuff!

erulxldite: i think i know u well enough
    twinkelNsparkle: really now
    twinkelNsparkle: how am i
erulxldite: innocent and clueless and UNREBLLIOUS

First of all, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY JAMES!!!!! His birthday was on Tuesday the 24th. Also, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY CHRIS!!!! His birthday was yesterday! I hope you guys had good ones!

I am so tired but today was cool. I didn't attend any of my classes...YEAY YEAY! I woke up earlier than I ever do for school for the La Verne One-Act Festival. Jen and Christian picked me up at 7ish and then we picked up Thea and Karissa and we made our way to Robeks. South Pacific Squeeze always baby! Then we headed to Univeristy of La Verne and get lost on the way and were 30 minutes late but it was a-okay. We ran through our one-act play, "Waiting Room", an all-original play written by Marcus Leung! We performed first and then we got adjudicated. They said some really nice stuff for a play we've been rehearsaing for only about 2 weeks. Then we changed and watched some more plays. Diamond Ranch was there and Thea and I saw Lauren whom we haven't seen since 8th grade! Gabrielino was also there and I told one of the girls to say hi to Jenny for me. I would have gone to that school if I hadn't moved to Walnut. Lunch came at noon and we ate on campus. Thea and I shared healthy stuff YEAY YEAY: an asian chicken salad, a veggie burger, and iced tea. After lunch, we go to a workshop and it was a really fun workshop...better than some of the ones I went to at the CETA festival. After the workshop, we headed back to the theater and watched the rest of the plays. In between plays, there were drama games and people were quite dirty. HAHA. It was ridiculously funny. Anyway, awards came last and Walnut got recognized! WHOO WHOO! Marcus got the "Best Writer" award for his original play. However, he and a few others had already left by that time for Guys&Dolls rehearsal back at Walnut so Thea and I accepted the award for him! HAHA we're going to be on the La Verne website. We all got certificates too...good stuff! We all were really tired at the end and I regretted not doing any homework since Tuesday. AGHHH but yeah, I had good times with my drama babes! I also talked to Karr about colleges and stuff. Interesting stuff. Now I'm off to do homework...G'bye!

    FEELING: (= EXCITED
So I woke up pretty early today and got ready to go Sadies shopping with Drama 8. Scott and Jeeyoung picked me up and we go to pick up Julian (Scott had gone to Julian's house first but no one answers even though he rang the doorbell several times and I call a trillion times so he picked up Jeeyoung and then me.) again. We get there, stand in front of his window and shout for him on the top of our lungs and whaddya know, he finally wakes up. That boy seriously sleeps like a log. So we wait for his Royal Lagger to get ready and then meet up Thea, Frank, Karissa, and Christian at The Village. Then we head to Walmart where the guys got some stuff and I got 2 DVD's: The Two Towers and My Fair Lady AGH!!! (=. The two cars then split off: Jeeyoung, Julian, Scott, and I went to Party America to get stuff and then In-n-Out for lunch YUM (=. Then we all met at the WestCo mall for more stuff and the guys left while Scott took us girls to Joann's so we could buy more stuff. After Joann's, Jon took us to Colima Burger YUM (= and we headed to Thea's while we had laugh attacks the whole time. It was freaking great. We made stuff and planned stuff and then Jon took Jeeyoung and me to Jeeyoung's hosue and Daddy picked me up shortly after and now I'm home, after spending some time making stuff. HARHAR. YAY Sadies is going to ROCK!

    FEELING: =D FREAKING GREAT
HELLO!!!! I'm so tired but today was SO AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! Today was the WHS Women's Ensemble's first competition of the year!!! Elaine came over in the morning and we got ready and then Mommy took us to school but we forgot our permission slips so we had to speed all the way back to my house to get it. We got to school again and weren't even late. Boy are we good (=. We made a stop at Burger King for brunch and then made our way to Citrus College in Glendora. When we got there, we set our stuff and then stood in the rain until we were going to perform. We all rubbed the Confidence Bear for good luck and then sang the confidence song! It was great man! We were the second school to perform and it was kind of petrifying because when we were up there, we couldn't hear ourselves singing. It was literally like I could only hear myself singing. We did the best we could and then went to watch the rest of the groups. Practically every group did really well and we thought that we wouldn't place. Well guess what. WE GOT THIRD PLACE BABY!!!!!!! Omgosh, we were screaming like crazy 'cause we seriosuly thought we weren't going to place. AGH GOOD JOB GIRLS! Diamond Bar got second and Burbank got 1st. Man we asked Ms. Lopez if we could host a comeptition next year and she said maybe. HAHA! Dude that would be so cool! On the bus ride home, the parents who chaperoned told us that we actually sounded/looked pretty good even though we couldn't hear ourselves. HAHA. "Walnut! YOU KNOW!!!" We also looked at scoresheets and stuff. Good stuff. Afterwards, Irene, Yumi, Mich, Mildrey, and I went to Irene's house to change and wash up (my show makeup always makes me break out..it's so nasty I HATE it AGHHH but yeah HAHA) and then went to eat dinner. We were going to go to Olive Garden but then changed our minds and went to Chili's instead but that was packed so we went to Souplantation. Omgosh we had a freaking feast and I cleaned everything. I'm such a pig- it's great. We talked forever too...GOOD TIMES YOU GUYS GOOD TIMES. I love those girls MAN (=. HAHA "choir buddies"! That's so nerdy but we're PROUD OF IT. We're going to play at Chuck E. Cheese's after the next competition...YOU KNOW!!! HAHAHA (((((=

We had an improv talk show presentation and we were arguing about Orlando Bloom...my lover! HAHA!!!! It was really funny. Don't worry, Scott aka Pedro Dos, I choose you over him! HAHAHA you ideal man! Then I fell asleep in U.S. but I kept waking myself up 'cause I'd sniffle and stuff. In 6th, Drama 8 finally decided on what we're going to be for Sadies! However, I'm not allowed to say what we're going to be 'cause Julian is anal about people copying us or something like that. HAHA what a nerd! Just kidding!! But yeah, Karissa and I were going crazy planning the outfits and everything!

^It's little stuff like convos that make my days that much better. =DDDDD[/EDIT]

Wise words from Sisco's profile: You live life as you do: you make choices, you make decisions, and sometimes you make mistakes...sometimes they're huge mistakes...but you can't look back regretting anything, no matter how fucked up everything is as a result of your mistake. What is done is done, what has passed, passed. So you carry on with no regrets and no resentments because there's nothing you can do about it except to start all over again knowing you learned something, and from there you live and grow. That's life...stay true to yourself and your feelings.

But then again, everything happens for a reason...maybe all of this was the only way for time to take its course...maybe the answer's simply time.

Thank you to those who have always been there for me no matter what. You have no idea how much I appreciate it. You guys know I'm always here for some HELEN LOVIN'!!!! Harharhar =DDDD.

On a lighter note, I've been blowing my nose all day and my brother suggests for me to take a mint and drink water. "It'll relieve all your sinus problems," he says. HAHA! ...And by golly, it works! Kinda mind-boggling, eh?!

    FEELING: |x SICKLY
Having a cold is not fun!

    HAPPY LATE VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

So on Saturday, Yumi and I met at the park to go suprise Mich and she was home this time! Whoo! Mission accomplished! Then Patrick picked me up and we went to The Grove for a while. We walked around and then we watched 50 First Dates, which was humorously sad. Then we went to his house and talked and then he dropped me off at Mich's. There, I went with her and Kevin to Jun sushi 'cause Mich was craving it and I accidentally forgot to close the car door when we went inside the restaurant..HAHA how sad is that! I thought I closed it I swear! But yeah, SORRY! After we got the food, we went back to Mich's house and I later got picked up by Jane and we went to Sharon's house. While we were ont he way, Sisco calls me and we talk for a while and he says he's driving around and he ends up right behind us! However, when we got to Sharon's, she wasn't home yet so we were sitting on her curb, waiting like bums. HAHA. WHen she got home 5 minutes later, we bummed around her house and I freeloaded off her food. Good stuff good stuff. We talked and watched music videos. Then Sisco took me home.

On Sunday(yesterday), I was forced to awake earlier than I had preferred and went with my family to Rose Hills for my uncle. All of the relatives were there and we prayed. Then we all went to my grandparents' and had lunch. After that, I watched American Wedding and Alex&Emma and then we headed home and I watched I Love Lucy(YAY!!!!), One Tree Hill, and Everwood. That was the most tv I've watched in practically a century. HAHA! Then I was gonna go to Starbucks with Jane and Sisco but Mommy wouldn't let me 'cause I was sick. Poop!

Today, I woke up early and felt a lot better. I got really excited but that feeling disappeared in half an hour when I started coughing all oevr the place. I went to the choir rehearsal at 9 and Lopez wasn't even there yet so I had to squeeze through the theater gates. We worked on the whole show and felt really productive. The 13 of us get to teach tomorrow! We shall ROCK. (:< After that Yumi drove Mich, Mildrey, and me to Taco Factory to pick up food (Thanks Yumi baby!) and then went to Mich's house to eat and watch Pirates of the Caribbean for the umpteenth time and Season 6 of Friends. Half of the time, we just sat around and chitter chattered. Then Kevin came and we all went to Target! Dude we fell in love with eevryting and when we all haev money, we're gonna make another Target trip! WHOO! Then we dropped Mich and Kevin off at Mich's and I went home. The whole time, Yumi drove with her crazy driving skills even though she doesn't have a permit. Awesome. HAHA. Mich and I decided that we have to drive soon!

HAHA Pea and I found a new meaning for BS!

crestfallen cub: its funny how we can give such good advice to others and yet have no clue what to do in our own lives

Me, Elaine, and Yumi trying to touch our noses with our tongues Me, Yumi, and Elaine looking weird. I'm so ugly it's great HAHA Me, Yumi, and Elaine Me, Yumi, and Elaine yet again Me, Yumi, and Elaine...KISSY KISS KISS Me, Elaine, and Yumi..the closeup! Me and Yumi kissing Elaine's head Wong and Song attacking the Fong Us pretending to have blinked in the picture
So yesterday was fun stuff as you can see from the pictures. It was a FongSongWong day! First, Elaine picked me up to go buy overpriced leotards at Diamond Dancewear. Then we went to Joann's where she could bought stamps and paint and committed a crime LOL. Then she dropped me back off at home 'cause she's a working woman. After that, I met Yumi at the park and we went to pay Mich a surprise visit but her sister said she wasn't home so we felt extremely stupid. Then we went back to my house to get drinks and then walked to Umi for japanese food. We saw a dead possum thing on the way and it was the most terrifying thing ever. I peed in my pants or something. I hate walking on Valley. So the lady at Umi was really nice that Yumi wanted to eat her. HAHA. Man so Yumi made me eat like half of her food plus mine. I'm such a pig, I love it! Then we walked back and went to the florist where she looked at plushy stuff for her loverboy..I mean loverman. HAHA. Then we went back to my house to watch Pirates. It was Yumi's first time and she fell in love with it. HAHAH you know it! Then Elaine picked us up and we went to the crazy asian 99 Ranch plaza in Rowland to pick up a bunch of food for Mrs. Fong's mahjong party. We stopped by Elaine's house and chilled. Then we went to The Village for ice cream at Coldstone. Man ice cream makes me happy and fat (=. Then we picked up Rubio's for my daddy, dropped Yumi off, went to my house and Elaine chilled again. We watched The Wedding Planner, The Lion King, and Fools Rush In. Har! Nice day, nice day...I liked!

On Friday, I had gay school and then tedious rehearsal till 5:30 and then went to eat dinner at Maxim with the father and the brother. I encountered Irene in the restaurant and yelled a greeting to her across the room. (= Then we went home and Elaine came over to chill. We were choir nerds and watched previous years' concert tapes/dvds. We compared the ability of Women's last year to this year. -_-. However, Elaine did remind me that we were comparing last year's spring concert witht his year's winter concert, meaning we can't really tell until this June. Aghh I hope we're just as good musically this year as last year, or even better. I have to admit, though, the show is better this year. BUt yeah, soul sista is awesome dawsome!

Aw Drama 8 can't go Sadies-shopping today. How sucky. Ideas, you guys, we need ideas!

I feel that because I'm probably not going to do theatre or music for my career, I'm wasting my time doing it now when I could be studying for SAT's or something. Mommy keeps asking me when I'm going to go back to Alpha. I have this insecurity that I've forgotten how to do everything and am afraid to take the SAT again. AGHHHHH gay gay gay...or as Elaine would say, AGHHHH homosexual homosexual homosexual! My grades are bad too. I should stop playing....as much. (=

But I really want to play at Disneyland. Let's go let's go! HAHA!

I've come to the conclusion that keeping busy whether with school, with choir, with drama, and with playing is good 'cause then I don't think about other things. Yeap.

I miss Casey and Itzel. Boooooooooo!

Fear. Anger. Confusion. Regret. Nostalgia. Badbadbad.

I don't know what to think. I don't know what to believe. Now I question everything.

What was I thinking? Good bye.

    Hang in there.

    FEELING: |= THOUGHTFUL
hey there helen fans! it's elaine here, updating for my soul sistah after a great fun-filled day out. ;D i hafta go soon, so i'll make it short. i'm sure helen will add the details in an edit. >_< soo.. today consisted of dress & clothes shopping at the brea mall, and we graced the following stores with our momentary presence: nordstrom, windsors, hollister, abercrombie (kids!), macy's, jc penny, ames, cache, and.. lots of weirdo dress stores. it was great. esp the $500 price tag, huh babe? haha. well yea.. we picked up a lot of great stuff that we'll be sportin' soon at school, etc etc.. and uhmm.. hm. aside from shopping, our day was filled with lots of sisterly bonding, gossip, whining, venting, etc. I LOVE YOU HELEN MY MELON! haha okay i gotta go. love ya stitch! <3* lilo x)

Hello! This is Helen now! So Elaine just left. Shucks! So I spent the whole day with my soul sista! It was great man! She came over in the afternoon and then we went to the Brea Mall and shopped. Then we got tired so we went to rent Freaky Friday to watch at my house. I loved it! The only weird thign was that the Chinese actresses spoke in Cantonese in the beginning and spoke in Mandarin at the end. HAHAHA. But other than that, good job yet again, Disney (which I will be owner of someday HAHA)! So Mommy is at her annual dinner party and she won a TV!!! AGHHH!!!! She said I could have it! I'm so excited dude!!! Hahhaha. I also got to see her with her hair and makeup done. Quite spiffy. The sad thing is, Elaine and I saw the same dress she bought at Macy's for $85 less than what she paid for hers. So I didn't find the VS dress I really want today. BOOOOO! I need to go back to The Grove. Next shopping trip: Drama 8! YAY!

    FEELING: (= BETTER
So this week wasn't the best...but because of my awesome dawsome friends (whom I love and appreciate like CRAZY by the way), it got better. Besides the usual routine of tiring school/rehearsals, I finally got to play with Sharon my PEA again on Tuesday! Dude, it had been too long. How I've missed her. But you know, it was only 'cause she got too cool for me. HAHAHA just kidding! We've both been busy. Mm hmm! That night, Patrick picked us up and then we went to pick up Thea, got lost on the way (I swear I SUCK at directions), picked up Julian from dinner thatre rehearsal and went to Diamond Bar High to watch the Solitaire Choir Concert! So the show was great. Choir? I saw my lovely Frunk Joyce, awesome duetist Vivian, and sexy Jennifer perform their butts off! Diamond Bar is known for their confidence and their energy. Good job you guys! I also saw BFF Angie aka the love of my life (o; and Candace (my floss buddy!)! I was so happy to see them (=. After that, the night went downhill. Wednesday sucked. Thursday(yesterday) got a little better. I don't remember much except that I had cabinet the whole lunch and was quite hungry afterward. But yeah, prom sounds fun dude! So today was the best day out of the school week so far. After musical rehearsal, I went with Thea to her house and chilled for a while before we walked back to school for dinner theatre. It was freaking GREAT. I loved it. The food was good and the show was awesome! GOOD JOB EVERYONE! I'm so proud of you! So Thea and I laughed our pants off every other minute and the drama babes told us that they could hear us from backstage. HAHAH (o; you know it! Only 'cause you guys are so entertaining like that. Man, we were talking about how because we're usually in the shows, we don't get the experience of watching it so tonight was really nice. Howevre, we regretted not trying out this year but just wait, we're gonna try out next year! I had the bestest time with my Thea. Thanks babe!

So much. I feel. I want to say. But you know what? Things are going to be a-okay.

"Expect the worst, hope for the best."

    I really, really hope so.

    FEELING: )= HURT
Wow another update! Thursday the 22nd was Chinese New Year so HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!! On Thursday, my family and I went to Hsi Lai Temple to pray and eat dinner. This morning was the Pancake Breakfast. I had to wake up at 7:30 this morning. AGH that's killer on a Saturday morning. However, I shouldn't be talking since the officers had to be there at around 5:00. Geebus! So we performed 2.5 songs. Then we went in and got breakfast. Thanks Patrick for going (even though he was reading a book while we were singing...that shows how entertaining we are.). I stayed long enough afterward to hear some awesome duets/duos/solos. GOOD JOB Thea, Frank, Andrew, Laura, Cathleen, and Lucy (singing)! GOOD JOB Julian and Andrew (emcee'ing)! You guys rocked! During the breakfast, we bumped into Vanessa! Aww yay! i've missed that chick. After that, I went home and napped for a while before my family and I went out to "bai neen" or in an English tranlation: to visit all the relatives to wish them a good and prosperous new year. We visited almost everyone today and then had a nice dinner in Monterey Park with some of my daddy's side of the family. Tomorrow, my favorite uncle and my little cousins are coming over to "bai neen". Yay! Tomorrow, cool people are also coming over yet again to study. I hate studying )=. Okay. I don't feel that great. Good night. Have a nice one.

    FEELING: )x COLD
Goodness, today was the first day back from the 4-day Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend (Happy Belated Martin Luther King, Jr. Day by the way!) and teachers were AWFULLY considerate to assign tremendous amounts of homework. Geebus. So I get really sad when I look at my schedule this semester since Miraglia wouldn't let me switch out of Davies. Oh how I dislike her. Anyways, I have 2 B's on my first semester report card. Boy am I crushed. First I promised myself that I would get straight A's. Then I realized an A in Davies would be impossible (at least for me) so I narrowed it down to 5 A's and 1 B. Now I find out that my extremely-hard Spanish final dropped my grade to a B. Let me cry myself a river. HAHAHA. Okay whatever (Well, not really. Whenever I think about it, it twists up my innards. Gah!). Dude I just hope this doesn't come back to haunt me. So show season for choir is sneaking up on us and I'm really excited cause I really like the theme this year. Lopez better not dampen my excitement. HAHA. Speaking of choir, we're hosting the annual Pancake Breakfast this Saturday, January 24th in the WHS MPR. You get food and entertainment for a measely $5! Come support us! (Please, I really hate raising fairshare money and if you would just like to donate to my fund, it would be VERY REALLY appreciated.) But yea, if you would like to go and I know you all want to, buy tickets from me before Friday is over, kays? So Drama is the same as last semester. CETA is over and now I'm preparing for the La Verne One-Act Festival coming up in February. Joy! Sigh. All in all, school is tiring. The weather is gloomy and sad and makes me sleepy. However, all my awesome friends and Patrick get me through the days. =D But goodness...I want to play!

    FEELING: (=> TIREDLY HAPPY
[EDIT] So I edited some of the entry and added pictures from Liz and Yvonne's party from Friday. (= [/EDIT]

Wow what a week! Finals are FINALLY over..YAY! So the week was really stressful in the beginning and then got fun but was busy overall. Here is a very long and fairly-detailed description of it:

During the school week, it was all about finals. They made me die during each one and I'm pretty okay with how I thought I did on each of them except for spanish. That was the most depressing final ever. G'bye "hopes-of-getting-an-A-in-that-class." Anyways, after each day, there would be rehearsals, either for the musical, choir, or the CETA (California Educational Theater Association) festival. Wednesday was Irene's birthday so HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY IRENE!!! on Thursday, I had a nice ice cream outing with Elaine and Yumi after choir rehearsal. Coldstones is great. Elaine and Yumi are even greater! HAHA. But yea, after that I had to go back to school for CETA festival rehearsal.

On Friday, I went out with Arianne and bought stuff at the WestCo mall to make gift baskets for Yvonne and Liz. It was so fun dude! We felt so accomplished. AFter that, we just watched 'Save the Last Dance' at her house before we went to Liz's at around 7 where Patrick picked me up. We went to meet his friends at Dallas' house to go to the Cheesecake Factory in Old Towne Pasadena cause it was for Tricia's birthday. I met a lot his friends who were all really nice (=. After a few hours, we went back to Liz's with Michael at around 9:30 and chilled with awesome dawsome people before we all went broomballing at DisneyIce. I was so excited to see everyone cause I haven't chilled with them (outside of school) for the longest time. Sorry to Yvonne for knocking her down. HAHA just cause I love you that much, dearie (x. Broomballing was great man. I fell on my face the first 5 min into the game. Good thing I had the handy dandy helmet on! HAHA! SORRY to Michael for (accidentally) hitting him in the head with my stick )=. But yea, had a great time even though I acquired more cuts/scrapes/bruises this time than last time. Thanks, Liz and Yvonne! Happy birthdays! After the party, picked up Jeeyoung and went back to my house. Jeeyoung told me about how Walnut did at the CalPoly Scene Festival that day and I would like to say CONGRATS TO JEEYOUNG AND SHAINA FOR GETTING THIRD PLACE and CONGRATS TO JEEYOUNG FOR MAKING ALL-STAR CAST!! Props baby props! I'm so proud of you! Now here are some pictures from Liz and Yvonne's party. Hover over the thumbnails for a description and then click them to enlarge:

Yesterday, Jeeyoung and I woke up after 4 hours of sleep and went to the CETA festival at Upland High. After the welcome ceremony, we all split up to go to our workshops. My first workshop was "Commercial Auditioning with Casting Director Chris Game." It was pretty fun. He talked about auditioning for commercials (duh), agencies, agents, theater, etc. Then he all made us audition for a Toyota commercial he's casting and then bid us farewell. At my second workshop, I got to do it with Jeeyoung (yay!). It was "Musical Theatre Dance with Alan Collins." He basically taught us the dance for the finale of the musical "A Chorus Line." It got very tedious. HAHA. After the second workshop, Jeeyoung and I were quite tired and bored so we found David and decided to be rebels and ditch the third and last workshop and we were feeling cool until I looked at the schedule and realized we weren't ditching the third workshop but were ditching LUNCH (and you know what a horrible thing THAT is). So we ran to meet the others and walked down the street to eat. Jeeyoung, Julian, David, and I went to eat at Denny's but Julian left early to go back for his callbacks for the Senior Auditions (Congrats!!!). After Denny's, the three of us walked to Juice&Java and chilled there while ditching the third workshop. HAHA. We went back for the 2nd place Mainstage production of "The Prodigious Snob" by Windward High. It was so GREAT. I loved it even though I got kinda tired in the middle of it. Windward is so talented. We recognized the actors from that school who won 1st at the Rancho Cucamonga festival. Very awesome. After the show, we went to dinner at Jack in the Box. When we got back, we got ready for the Scenefest, which we were to be performing in. We ran through a very rapid tech rehersal and then got ready. We then ran through the scene (Act I, Scene IV of the Servant of Two Masters. If you watched it, it was the swordfighting scene we did for previews.) The Scenefest started at 7:30 and we were the 5th school to go so while we were waiting outside the theater, we talked to other schools and got acquainted, danced for 10 seconds to our own Winter Formal (since we were missing Walnut's..haha!), and listened to a "very inspiring" pep talk from Julian and Marcus ("Okay you guys, we're Walnut! We're the smartest school in the valley. We have the best test scores. That means we're great! Yea!!! Remember: energy like Jeeyoung, control like Helen. Project project project!"). We performed and did our best even though it ended before we were finished. We got very nice comments but the best was from Ms. Karr since she never says anything unless she means it. A guy from Torrey Pines was amazed at our Asian-dominated cast and was really excited when we said it was becasue Walnut was 60% Asian or so. HAHA. So our nickname throughout this CETA weekend was "the Asian kids." HAHA. We then watched the rest of the scenes, which was of very different variety. A really funny aspect that stood about about one of the scenes was that they were playing Japanese people but their actors were white. HAHA. It was similar to the effect of our scene, since we were mostly Asian actors playing white(Italian) characters. Awards came next and certificates got passed out. Everyone in our scene got one and Phillip too...YAY! At first, I thought that they gave one to every person who was involved in the scenes but Mrs. Pena informed me that they gave it to us when they recognized our individual performances when they went to see and judge us in the fall. Because of the certificates, we are also eligible to perform in Sacramento in March. YAY! Also, I hope everyone had a rockin' fun time at WInter Formal that night! CONGRATS TO YVONNE FOR JUNIOR WINTER FORMAL QUEEN!!! Also, it was Marissa's birthday so HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARISSA!!!

Today, Mrs. Pena and Debbie picked Jeeyoung and me (She slept over again.) up at around 10 to go back to Upland High for the last day of the CETA festival. We watched the 3rd place Mainstage Production of "Metamorphoses" by Torrey Pines High. Their set and tech were awesome. We also finally got our pins from the Rancho Cucamonga festival. HAHA. After the show were the awards. CONGRATS TO JEEYOUNG AND JULIAN FOR GETTING SCHOLARSHIPS TO GO TO SACRAMENTO TO PERFORM! Also, CONGRATS TO DEBBIE FOR GETTING THE VIVIAN BISCH SCHOLARSHIP FOR FUTURE THEATER EDUCATORS! I'm so happy for you guys! While the awards were going on, we watched the 1st place scene from Sceneworks (which we did not participate in) and then watched the 5 senior audition winners. They were all so awesome. (= After that, Katie and Mrs. Aalund took Jeeyoung and me to Jeeyoung's house and shortly after, Patrick kindly brought us Taco Factory and I left with him and we chilled.

So this was one tiring weekend. However, it was also fun 'cause this was Walnut's first CETA festival under Ms. Karr. Although we were just finalists this year, we were very surprised to find out that Walnut had won twice as Mainstage productions in the late 70's and early 80's. YAY Walnut! The festival exposed me to so much awesome talent. It also made me realize how serious many people are about theater. When I think about how serious I am about theater, I would have to say that I would love to be, but I can't. It's the little thing called lack of parental support for the arts. They think I'm doing it for fun and that it's too unstable of a career to pursue. When it comes down to it, I really can't do it without their support. Also, I don't have enough confidence in my ability to act to pursue it. I haven't had the opportunity to do any monologues this year or to do a scene with anyone because I've always done the festivals. However, there's one more semester left before the semester is over so who knows what could happen in another semester? But whatever happens, I hope I gain new experiences!

Now we have one more day before we go back to school on Tuesday. Let's make the most of it! I hope everyone is having a great weekend!
