Hellllllloooooooooo! So I got back from vacation late at night on Saturday the 27th. It was okay I guess. I didn't get to watch a Broadway musical..bah! )= So there was lots of driving. We went to New York, Piladelphia, Washington DC, Toronto, Ottowa, Montreal, Boston and passed all the states in the East Coast on the way. I spent lots of time wiht Daddy. I also met some awesome people and hopefully we're going to keep in touch. (= But boy was I glad to be home. Ever since I've gotten back, I've been watching Pirates of the Caribbean 'cause ya know, my wonderful husband is in it. HAHAHA. Yesterday, I went out with Shawna buttmunchkin! I haven't played with her in so long. We talked lots and watched Lord of the Rings! Omgosh that movie rocked!! I cried like 4 times. Because I didn't want to embarrass Shawna, I didn't scream audibly when Legolas came on. He was so pretty dude (=. HAHAHA yep that was guh-REAT. Today, I woke up and I'm sick. Absolutely lovely. GAHHH! Oh yeah, I need a new layout. Too bad I have no inspiration. Too bad I'm lazy.

Today was so great. I was feeling festive all day. Thanks everybody...you guys were so thoughtful! We watched the ASB/Renaissance Make-A-Wish assembly during 5th period...it was pretty touching/funny. (((= Anyways, it was a well-deserved minimum day today. I spent the day with cool people. Jeeyoung, Julian, Frank, Karissa, Christian, Laura, Austin, and I first went to McDee's for lunch and then went to ABC Studios in Hollywood to be part of the tv audience for "Soap Talk." Ehm...it was quite boring. I was on the verge of sleeping during many moments and kept nodding off. However, our repsonsibility of loking like soap-loving fans stopped me from dozing off. The poor guys were stuck in the back 'cause they wanted all the ladies in the front. -_-. After that new and not very satisfying experience, we went to Farmer's Market at The Grove in Melrose. I loved it. We met up with Sandy and ate and stuff. It was cool. Then we walked around and when we went into FAO Shwartz, I wanted to buy the whole store. Okay, I shall be on vacation starting tomororow until the 27th...so until I get back, MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY!

Tuesday, December 16, 2003 // FEELING (= a-okay
So my weekend was pretty busy. Saturday was the Rancho Cucamonga One-Act Festival. We all met at Phillip's in the early hours of the morning and then proceeded to drive there. I was in Frank's car along with Julian and Christian and we were helping Frank remember lines so we was drving kinda wacky. Then we found out that Thea had been following us and was going crazy over Frank's weird driving. HAHAA. So we got there and rehearsed for a bit. We went third and I think we did pretty well. Went off for lunch at Popeye's and went back to watch the rest of the plays. Awards came and we got 4th. It was kinda disappointing 'cause we really thought we deserved better. Judging is very subjective. -_-. But then, GOOD JOB GUYS! CONGRATS to the rockin' Walnut people who got Outstanding Actor/Actress awards: Thea, Debbie, Frank, and Brittany. YAY!!!!! After festival, I went with Frank and Julian to the Christian Club Christmas party and it was a nice experience. I mostly helped make the sandwich stuff and grilled hot dogs. Julian and I are master hot dog cookers. Jeeyoung is the bestest dude! After that, Jeeyoung and I went to my house and she slept over for the night. Fun stuff. Sunday- Christmas shopping with Vicky! Got most of our shopping done. We felt so accomplished. HAHA. Props baby props. (= Monday(yesterday) was the day the Women's Ensemble and CHamber Singers were at DISNEYLAND! YAY! Wow do I love that place. I shall never get sick of it. It was rockin' fun dude. I love the loo-laa game with Elaine, Yumi, Thea, Debbie, and Jessica. Yumi is the CUTEST screamer in the world. It's not "Oh gosh how fun!" scream, but a "OH MY I'm going to DIE!" scream. LUAGHOUTLOUD. So yea, we rode stuff, ate stuff, and had fun!

Wow, it's almost Christmas and here I am with a summer layout still up. )= What can I say? I love summer. Yes..! How I pine for sunny days. HAHA. But really, I will make a new layout SOON!

Friday, December 12, 2003 // FEELING |= mixed-up
Wow I haven't updated in a while. I've been pretty busy this week, which has had its ups and downs. Musical auditions were this week and they were mainly all I had my mind on this week. I auditioned on Tuesday and was scared out of my mind. I did pretty horrible and was pretty depressed afterward but when I saw the cast list yesterday morning, I couldn't believe my eyes. Thankyouthankyouthankyou. Thanks to everyone who was there to talk to me when I whined about the musical. HAHA. You guys rock. CONGRATS TO EVERYONE WHO MADE THE MUSICAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy for you guys! You know who you are! Anyways, the downs of this week all had to do with school. First of all, GLCs make me freaking angry. I had left Miraglia many notes over the course of the past 3 weeks to talk to her about switching my math class and she never answered any of them and she's always gone during passing periods so yesterday, I had needed to get my Mt. SAC College Starter form signed so I left her a note about it and she answers in 2 seconds after I get into the next period, which clearly shows that she's avoiding my desire to switch out of my gay math class. After she signs my form, I start talking to her about my class. She then checks my grades and exclaims that I'm doing fine, just GREAT, ABSOLUTELY DANDY. Then she realizes that she had switched me to the class I wanted for second semester and said, "How did you get into Dorn? I double-checked everyone's!" This clearly shows that GLCs want to make everyone miserable and not let them get the class they want/feel that they would be more comfortable in. First she says that the class is already full, which is FALSE because my friend told me that the class was only 2/3 full. So then she asks me why I want to switch and I tell her that it's difficult and I don't understand his teaching methods, etc. etc. And she was like "I know it's hard but I also know you're very capable BLAH BLAH BLAH." Then she goes "If it's so hard, then how are you getting by? Are you cheating your way through?!" OMGOSH HOW RUDE IS THAT. Then she goes, "Maybe 'cause you spent all your time memorizing your lines for the play that you didn't remember your priorities." OKAY, I WAS SURPRISED SHE REMEMBERED ME FROM THE PLAY BUT SAYING THAT I DON'T KNOW MY PRIORITIES? So I busted out crying and she goes, "Do you need stress or anxiety classes?" WOW DID I WANT TO STRANGLE HER. I really didn't respect the way she "accused" me of things. At the end, she said that she'd talk to Davies and see what she can do, and I had a feelign she was jsut trying to get rid of me. ARGHHHH. So anyways, I went to Mt. SAC after school yesterday and I hate the application process. I left feeling SO FRUSTRATED. The I had go back again that night, but I just accompanied Julian 'cause I'm nice like that. HAHA. Just kidding! But yea, I visited the most frustrating college twice in one day. I hope it gets less frustrating after this. Another great thing about this week is that I found out that I'm going on vacation during Winter Break! (Boo, that means I can't attend MegaCourse to raise my pathetic SAT scores.) I'm going to the East Coast with my daddy and my brother. We're visiting NYC, Boston, Montreal, Toronto, DC, and a few more places that I don't remember at this moment. On another note, we performed our play for Rancho today. It didn't go very well due to the lack of rehearsal we've gotten. Hopefully we'll miraculously pull together by the time we perform tomorrow.

Saturday, December 6, 2003 // FEELING |= blah
Wow so I haven't blogged in a while. First of all I would like to say HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY to my lovely bf Angie whose birthday was yesterday!! The Winter Choir Concert was also yesterday and Thursday. I thought Friday went better than Thursday. Saw some old people after concert on Thursday...good stuff. Alicia said she was laughing at me when I messed up. HAHAHA absolutely lovely. Thanks to everyone who came! Oh yea, I freaking love Elaine and Yumi! They make my days just that much better. (= Oh yea!! Secret Santas with my awesome friends...how exciting!

So the musical auditions are this coming Monday and Tuesday. I'm auditioning on Tuesday and dude, I barely know anything. Everyone has been practicing for weeks and weeks. I think the nervousness will sink in Monday night. AGHH I will practice. I will I will I will! Gosh what's more depressing is that Karr said she only needs about 15 girls. There are about 60 girls trying out. Only 25% will make it. Mannnn I'll be lucky if I even get a Salvation Army person or a Hot Box Dancer. You know, I wish I were a guy. Then I'd have a better chance since only about 12 guys are trying out and the cast is mainly guys. Plus, I could sing "Luck be a Lady." Gosh that would rock. But noooo...I'm female. Well...good luck to everyone trying out!

Gosh doesn't it really suck when people take their anger out on you? I really hope I go to Disneyland today to watch Chamber at Candlelight...that would be spiffy man (= One last note: GOOD LUCK to the people taking SAT's today!

Today is a very special day...HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEEYOUNG!!!! I hope you liked the surprise, you freako =DDDD!!! Also, I woke up this morning and found a wonderful surprise of my own...thank you SO MUCH best buddy!! You made my day! ((((=

Yesterday was quite a day. Happy Belated Thanksgiving, everyone! Although I am always thankful for these things, it seems like a right time to put it on plain paper (er, I guess not PAPER...but you know what I mean). I am thankful for my family...always there in the end, always surprising me...I love you all. I am thankful for my friends...old and new. You're all wonderful in your own ways and the times we have together are truly special...thank you so much. I am thankful for always having everything I need: a great home, awesome food, security, comfort, etc. I am thankful for being able to have the things I have that are not necessities...I am spoiled and I lavish in the little luxurious things. I am thankful for being healthy and so happy...all because of all the wonderful people and things mentioned before. Yesterday, my family and I went to pick up my grandparents (my daddy's parents) to go have brunch with my aunt, cousins, and grandparents (my mommy's parents) in Asiany San Gabriel. It was nice and then everyone went back to my grandparents' (my mommy's parents) place while Daddy, my grandparents (my daddy's parents): MaMa, GongGong, and I went shopping. GongGong bought a tortoise! It was so cute. I kept staring at its eyes. It knew how to WINK!!! I swear, it winked with its left eye. HAHAH! Everyone who passed us asked about the tortoise. I jokingly told Daddy I wanted one too when GongGong bought his (which we named Little Brother Tortoise) but Daddy said I wouldn't have time to take care of it. I swear it was the cutest thing though. Anyways, we went back to my grandparents' place (my mommy's parents) and we just chilled until my uncle, aunt, and cousins from BoonieLand Oxnard came with a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner. It was great. YUMMMM! After the great food and picture-taking, Holden drove Harrison, Calvin, and me to get boba. Yum. Then we went to watch The Haunted Mansion. Even after the seocnd time, the singing busts are the awesomest things int he world. Gosh I wish we could harmonize liek they could...YUP! However, as we were heading back home, we got in a little car accident. Holden was making a left and this otehr car was driving straight and we collided. It was a bumper-to-bumper and no one was hurt...thank goodness. Hopefully everything works out in the end. Sadly, my parents blamed my brother and me for ruining Thanksgiving...Gosh what an HONOR dude. Sigh, becuase of yesterday, I couldn't celebrate Jeeyoung's birthday with her today. HI EVERYBODY! Today was GREAT. Minimum day and then a day with Casey...what could beat that? Well, we went to Downtown Disney to watch Haunted Mansion and it was good. I like it! However, I think Pirates of the Carribean was better. They both rocked though. (((= I SWEAR I WILL OWN DISNEY ONE DAY!!! HARHARHARHARDY HAR!

Yesterday, Sharonah came over after school to chill and we chitter chattered like always. IDEAL DRESS! HAHA! Well, she went out with my family me to eat. Before we left for the restaurant, I went upstairs to change. I just threw on jeans and my class sweatshirt and when I come down,I realize that she is wearing the same exact thing. HAHAHA. Who would have known. We are so super duper cool. HAHA. Then we put on our converses and matched. Hair up and everything. Dinner was good. Yup!

*CLAPPITY CLAP* Today was great dude! It's the little things that make life great (=. Did nothing in English 'cause a guy from West Point came to talk to us..go James go! For Spanish..Scott had scared me the night before 'cause he said the presentation stuff was due today so I did everything and it turns out that it isn't due till the monday AFTER turkey break. In math, my grade raised!! =DDD. In history, did decent on my test. Chitter chattered with Laura during choir. Led a successful warm-up (I think) in drama and got lots of cake! Yay! Took a nap after school and did history. Talked to Casey for a bit too..YAY!!

Derived from what Elaine said above, here is my "I-pulled-a-stupid" story of the day: So it was the beginning of 5th period, right? I was all hyper and all that great stuff and Mrs. Lopez said to get ready to sing "Carol of the Bells". Right when she said that, I remembered that I had heard the song over the weekend on TV while watching Home Alone. So I turned to my left and I was like "Hey, hey, hey guess what...okay never mind" *AHEM* ::looking around:: 'cause I realized Yumi wasn't there. So I was trying to play it off all cool and slick and turned back to the front like nothing happened and then I hear laughter. I turn around and Elaine is cracking up like crazy, "Hahahah Helen I saw that!" Man, I felt super duper cool there. It's like those times I do something and I think no one sees but Laura and Cathleen always catch me and NEVER EVER EVER let me forget about. So then when Yumi gets back, I tell her, and I'm like, "Isn't that COOL?! The exact arrangement and everything!" And she goes, "Dear...that's becuase that's the ORIGINAL arrangement." Me: "Oh...::turning back to the front like I'm cool::" Yea yea yea...I rock the world 8D HAHAHA just kidding!

WOW THIS WEEK IS OVER! This week were the play previews and performances. Let's have a recap, shall we?

Monday, Nov 17- We performed the previews from periods 2-6. Period 2 was an okay audience. Period 3 got better. We got tired by Period 4 so that started getting sloppy. Period 5 was great was eevryone was energized after lunch. Period 6 was rowdy and kinda annoying. All in all, everyone were interested after the pewviews. They said it was more interesting than they had expected. Whoop!

Tuesday, Nov 18- The final dress rehearsal. Aghhh pretty sloppy. Not good. Karr was pretty miffed. But then, everyone was really tired...

Wednesday, Nov 19- Opening night! Spent my "library day" at Rubio's. HARHaR. As for the show...wow, they were a pretty good crowd. They laughed at things we never expected them to laugh at and didn't laugh at things we were sure they'd laugh at. We did our best and I think we were kinda stiff and didn't let the audience react fully before going on. However, it was a good show. Thanks to Pea, Brain, Jane, Tiff, Sujin, Christi, Eric, Andrew, and all you awesome people...group of 18! LOL

Thursday, Nov 20- First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY HEATHER FEATHER TWIN SISTER!!! Show stats: second night! We were afraid of the dreaded "second-night slump" but thankfully it didn't happen. We did great, elaborated on jokes and gags to make them funnier, for that was the night they taped the show. THe crowd was great. I left happy pappy.

Friday, Nov 21- During class, Karr read us all a letter from Ms. Crsci. It was so sweet. It made me want to cry. Anyways...the performance: Wow, you gotta love Friday night crowds. They were great and laughed at every single joke and laughed at stuff that we didn't even know WERE jokes. I loved it. Elaborated on more jokes to make them funnier. Whoo Whoo! Casey and Itzel came...I hadn't seen them in forever and was so happy to see them. My dear dear Elaine also visited me afterward...thanks dearie! Then Jeeyoung's mommy picked Jeeyoung, Julain, and me up to go to Apple bee's, where we met up with Debbie, Danielle, Mrs. Pena, Jenn, Katie, Frank, and Scott. Ate stuff. YUMMY (=

Tonight, Saturday, Nov 22- First note: HAPPY BIRTHDAY RACHEL!!! As for the show: it was closing night. We were all afraid of the "closing night deadness" and tried our best..but I guess we were used to the energy from THursday or Friday's crowd and got a little depressed from the crowd tonight. As for me, I was really scared 'cause my parents were out there. However, we did as well as we could and pulled off a decent show. Bravo. Did not go to the cast party. Phooey. However, I did receive the CUTEST and most adorable letters/cards from my little cousins. Dude I love them so much. BF Angie, Heather Feather Twin Sister and Frunk Joyce came too! I was SO HAPPY! I haven't seen them since Joyster's party. They surprised me with a candid camera. Those nerds. AWWW it was great (=

Well, The Servant of Two Masters is over....unless we qualified for the CITA festival. Then there will be a resurrection. I had so much fun working on this production and got to know awesome people thorugh it and got clsoer to other people. Thanks to EVERYONE who came to watch...it meant a lot. It's even greater if you enjoyed it! Thanks so much to Brain/Pea, Sujin, Christi, Casey, Itzel, Leslie, Yolandie, Vicky, Elaine, Mrs. Pena, Danielle, Angie, Heather, Joyce....EVERYONE! Agh I've been really tired lately. Yesterday was dress rehearsal and I made Jeeyoung's hair look fabulous! HAHA j/k. FYhjfgUIWEHGIHSKFhkcmwt Blah blah blah =D. Afterwards, I went home for a bit and then went to Thea's house to bake a giant cookie. Then Julian came and the three of us went to DBHS to watch "Rumors" along with Josh, Cassie, and Ryan. It was GREAT! They have a different style than we do and it was nice to see something different. Julian and I forgot the Servant fliers. We were so mad at ourselves. We still kinda yelled and publicized it though. HAHAH! COME TO THE SERVANT OF TWO MASTERS NEXT WEEK FROM WED, NOVEMBER 19 THROUGH SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 22 IN THE WHS THEATER AT 7:00 PM. Monday, November 10, 2003 // FEELING =D happy pappy and light-hearted
Wow today was a semi-Friday! YAY! I was really tired throughout school, at least even more than usual. Rehearsal was a DRAG..I couldn't wait to get out of there. We got our finalized costumes today. I hate my hat...mob cap, whatever you call it. Anyways, tech rehearsals should also be condemned along with speed rehearsals. However, the few hours AFTER rehearsal were AWESOME. Patrick picked me up and we went to pick Sharon up to eat japanese food (which I had been craving =D). Dude Jubei was closed. I was so sad. Then we went to another one and that one was closed too. It was so ironic. I swear like we have bad luck or something. HAHAHA. Then we tried the place in the Hong Kong Supermarket plaza and 3rd times the charm! Thank goodness it was open. Well dinner was really good. Conversation rocked. Highlights: Patrick's comment about Sharon's chopsticks: "Wow, do you need a fork?"; Sharon talking in a fobby Japanese accent and bowing so the waitress would understand her better; me replying to the waitress with a "Si!" (Omgosh I was having brain lapse there or something); eating eel for the first time...-_-; Patrick and the untastable fish stuff; pickyness over food; standing in front of the car for 2956295 minutes and cracking up the whole time about utter nonsense; having to go pee everytime we laugh; walking around like asians; all three of us holding our chopsticks the inproper way; etc, etc. I love Japanese food. My mommy was a party pooper and made me come home right after I ate so I did. I had a great time with my pea and brain though! I haven't had so much fun or laughed so much since for a while. Thanks you guys!

Yesterday, I ate dinner with my family, my grandparents, and my aunt and uncle. It was nice and stuff but it made me realize how detached I was from everyone. I really wish I spoke Cantonese better. It's so hard to bond with them because of my limited knowledge. ))))= I should move to Hong Kong for a year or something to experience it HAHA.

Saturday, November 8, 2003 // FEELING =D awesome like a possum!
Today was great. I GOT FINDING NEMO!!!!!!! Sweet DUDE! HAHAHAHAH! WHOO! Hollywood Knights was GREAT! We were gonna win but the knights came back during the second half of the game and we ended up tying. So there was overtime but they won. Good job, staffulty! If you didn't go, you missed out! HAHAH DUDE! Jane and I took a pic with Josh Henderson! That hot boy! HAHAHA there was this girl who took a pic kissing him! Funny stuff! OMGOSH! I saw Stef!!! She was with Kyle! I missed her like crazy! You sexy mama!!! I also saw Mich with Kevin, Elaine with Chris, Jeeyoung, and Julian among many cool awesome people. Gosh, school is stupid. What a big fat booger. What's up with all these things called homework and tests, huh?

Today at dinner, I was eating and then started choking (rice, I think it was?). My brother, who was still bitter about the shoelace thing (cause I didn't fix his shoelaces for him this one time) said, "I hope you choke to death." What a great guy, I know. (I'll share...no, I'll kindly GIVE him to you if you want a younger brother.) Then my mother got angry at me cause she thought I was fake-coughing and wanted to provoke my brother. Goodness, where's the justice in that?! Where's the Justice League when you need them?! Phooey!

GO TO HOLLYWOOD KNIGHTS CELBRITY BASKETBALL GAME THIS SATURDAY AT 7:00 AT THE WHS GYM. It was rockin' bomb diggety awesome dawsome last year! Tickets are $8 presale and $10 at the door. I'm sure you guys are all smart and want presale tickets and you wanna help me out to raise my gay fairshare money for choir (o; so BUY TICKETS FROM ME POR FAVOR, MI AMOR!!! My Halloween weekend was nice. Friday was COLD but it was cool seeing all these people dressed up. I felt so festive and Halloweeny. AHAH. I got off from rehearsal one hour early..good stuff. I then went to Sharon's where we(Sharon, Staci, Patrick, Jane, Michael, and I) went bowling. I was a retard and got my thumb stck in a bowling ball. The we went back to SHaron's for movies. Yesterday, I went shopping with my mommy..good stuff. Today, I snuck into school to get binders and I was scared of gettign caught because there were cops around since there was a game so I ran at the speed of light while my heart beat 17840590 miles per second. Well, I just got home from rehearsal. Today was eh, 'cause I did horrible on my U.S. test. I keep doing worse. AGH I guess I overreacted. )= Anyways, the weather has been GROSS. Dude, the dust and ash have been everywhere: Monday was the worse..I could barely breathe. It was better yesterday 'cause it changed directions but today was a cross between the past two days. Agh. Wow yesterday was guhREAT! I woke up early to get to the Donut Tree at 630 in the morning. Omgosh, I was so tired. Met up with everyone there for the Drama DTASC Festival. Thea and I wanted to buy lunch for later that day so we, along with Julian went to Vons and found out they didn't open tll 7 am so we were just standing in front of the door, freezing. Well, we got inside and Thea bought stuff and the sandwich she bought didn't have a price so she got it for free! WOW! SO I ran back inside to get 2 for Julian and myself and they charged me a dollar each. -_-. HAHA still a good deal though! Then we left for Calabassas and the place was crawling with people. THe announcer said that several famous people had started out in this festival and that there were gonna be some people taping stuff for demos/HBO and yada yada. The musical group did their stuff and the talent was awesome. I was wowed. HAHA. We did the better in Round 1 than Round 2..I'm proud of you guys! After the 2 rounds were over, we ate lunch. Thea, Julian, Dulce, and I were sitting at this table but it was infested with bees so we kept screaming and jumping up and we just finally stood around the table takien over by bees. I guess we looked pretty weird and that's when this guy decided to interview us. HAHAH we got all professional-ish then. After lunch, we went to see who made it into semifinals. Walnut made the "Anything Goes" category and Julian made the "Audition" category. Yikessss! We all had hoped that none of us would make semifinals beause people wanted to go to Homecoming. But yeaaa...Thea, Dulce, and I left after announcements and Thea and I went to her house while she got ready for Homecoming. Patrick picked me up and we went to Disneyland! YAY! Well, this week was pretty normal. It's been really HOT though..and it's October! Today was dusty and ASHY because of the fire from somewhere (Fontana, I heard???) But yea. Just regular school, tests, rehearsal, and rigorous DTASC practice. Yesterday, SAT scores came out. How horrible. The study group talked about that half the time instead of math. HAHA. Out of nowhere, EJ goes, "Damn...(insert score)I can't believe it." LOL. Thanks best buddy for helping us. Today, rehearsal seemed so long. But afterwards, I went home and did nothing until Elaine picked me up so we could go watch the homecoming game halftime show at school. She parked really far into the boonies of the parking lot and while we were walking to the school in the dark, I was like, "You know, I'd be scared if it wasn't Walnut." Then this chick goes, "Yea, they might be hiding behind these cars, waiting to pop out at any moment..." AGHHHHH!!! Dude! We had freaked ourselves out and started running toward the stadium like the cool retards we are. HAHAHA. When we got there, we found out that we missed the whole halftime/crowning thing. We were so sad. CONGRATS CECILLE...I'M SO PROUD OF YOU MY QUEEN!!!!!!!!!!! SOB!!! Anyways, we watched for a few min and kept bumping into Mich and her bf. We left a few min after and met up with Patrick and Michael at Starbucks and who knew, bumped into Mich and Kevin again! So then we just sat there for liek an hour, drinking stuff and talking. OMGOSH PITAS IS SO GAY. IT WAS DOWN FOR FOREVER AND NOW THAT IT IS BACK UP, ALL MY ENTRIES AFTER OCTOBER 6 ARE DELETED! OMGGGG!!!!!!!!!! FREAK!!! Monday, October 6, 2003 // FEELING O= whoa
Well, I just got back from day 3 of the ceremony/memorial for my Uncle David. Daddy, Calvin, and I got there around 7:30 and ate dinner. It was surprisingly vegetarian and I found out that it was 'cause we were all gonna be walking across hot coals bare-footed later. I didn't understand why and 1st Aunt later told me that it was to bring good health but for Mommy and the rest of Uncle David's siblings to help him rest peacefully. It was a chilly night as everyone sat outside around the coals. Some of the cousins were scared cause the coals were red-hot and glowing. There was talk the whole night about not being able to if you ate meat during the day cause if you did, your feet would burn. In the end, everyone was able to even though we had eaten meat. Workers were fanning and patting down the coals for a few hours. Gongs and bells kept clanging. The process did not start until 11pm. Everyone walked it and then prayed at the end. It wasn't burning hot but a little mroe than warm. It was an experience...

Sunday, October 5, 2003 // FEELING (= SO happy!
OMGOSHERS YOU GUYS! I SLEPT 10 HOURS LAST NIGHT!!! =DDDDD Ahhhhhhhhh (=. Sleep can make your day just so great. HAHA. Well, Mommmy, Aunt Christine, and Harrison left to go to the memorial ceremony this morning. Once I finish my homework, I shall go. Today will be the third and last day of the ceremony. Anyways, Uncle Boy, Leslie, and Yolandie came over and I baby-sat the girls while Daddy and Uncle Boy went to buy stuff. I love the girls. (((= They just left and guess what?! I FINISHED MY PLAY REPORT! Yayayayayay! (=

Yesterday, I was forced to wake up at 5:30ish in the morning. I was so tired. I pulled on whatever I first saw in my closet and pulled a beanie on my head after barely brushing my hair. Slept on the way to the memorial place. When we got there, the WORKERS weren't even there yet so Mommy took Calvin and me to get some dim sum. There was this lady there that was really iffy. She was angry at the world or something. -_- When we came back, the workers were there along with Aunt Darlene and the cousins and stuff. Saw my aunt and uncles from Houston. Basically everyone was there. We all went to Rose Hills for Uncle David. Stayed there a while and prayed. Went back to the memorial. Stayed there basically the whole day. Saw everyone there and even though it was sad and thoughtful, it was a really nice bonding kind of thing. Played with the cousins a lot. "BS!! Running back and forth through the plaza! Dude manual is wack!" Kenny, Jessica, and I kept the fire burning till 10. Yay go teamwork! My eyes srtung like crazy fromt he smoke though. Left around 11 pm. Talked to Aunt Christine int he car. Shes so great, I love her. Slept around 1, tired as heck.We love you Uncle David. You'll always be in our hearts.

It's kinda amazing how people tend to talk. It's practically involuntary. HAHAHA -_- "Three can keep a secret if two are dead." That's so true dude. I think that's part of the reason it takes me a while to trust someone before I can tell them anything.

I know I say this practically every Friday, but THANK GOODNESS THE WEEKEND IS HERE. This has been another busy week. I'm so glad today was a minimum day! Casey picked me up after school and we went to pick up some viet food and went back to her office for a while. Then we went to Downtown Disney/Disneyland. I love Disneyland. I will never get sick of it HAHA. But yea, it was lotsa fun. We tried Cajun food for the first time at the Jazz Kitchen HAHAHA! There are really nice Disney Halloweek costumes this year. They're all nice, but the Snow White one is especially nice. Casey and I looked at costumes at The WOrld of Disney for Leslie, Yolandie, and Caitlyn. Caitlyn will be the cutest Minnie Mouse!! HI EVERYONE! Today was a great day! Sharonah picked me up again(I feel so bad. She always has to take me places) and her grandparents picked some fruit/veggies from our front/backyards and then we went to Frunk and Kat's party! [EDIT at 11:15 p.m.] Wow...I give Jerry props. He downed 3 McDee's Chicken Sandwiches and then a Coldstone ice cream. After that pigfest, he dropped me off at home. I brought some ColdStone for my mommy to try, and she liked it! Around 7:30-8:00ish, Christina picked me up to go watch Underworld with Sharon, Jane, Sandy, Staci(who got her braces off! YEAY!!), Jiun, and other people. Because we have poor senses of directions, we became lost kids unable to find the mall from my house. -_- After helpful yet disbelieving directions from Jerry and Jane, we get there. HELLO!!! TODAY WAS THE BESTESTESTESTEST DAY!!!! AGHHHH!!!!! Okay, well let's talk about yesterday first. Yesterday was when we would find out who made it to the callbacks for the fall show. I was SO SCARED but I went after 1st period to look and OMG I made it to callbacks. It was an absolute miracle. So then I was even more scared/nervous the whole day and during 6th, Karr gave us packets to do for callbacks and I practiced for about 5 min for Smeraldina cause she was the only character I tried out for. After school were the callbacks and I didn't think it would take so long since I thought that was only reading for one character but Karr had me read for 2 others. I didn't even LOOK at those so it was basically cold reading. Omy I could barely think. Anyways, I was pretty much unprepared but yea. When I left I crossed my fingers and prayed. Daddy had lefted me since I ran late and Dennis was the BEST and kindly took my brother and me to Alpha(Thank you Dennis!!), to which I was 45 min late but it was okay. It was the same stuff anyways. After Alpha, Kim and Helen came over and we did stuff for our Spanish presentation. They are the best! I couldn't really sleep that night cause I was really nervous about results of the play. Today, Helen, Kim, and I had our Spanish oral presentation today and we went first. HAHA more people understood the plot than we thought they would. I couldn't keep in character though cause you know, that Kim is freaking hilarious. AHAH. Anyways, I went to look at the cast list for the play and I see JeeYoung on the way and she told me that she got Clarice and that I got Smeraldina! I was in absolute disbelief while jumping up and down with her, screaming like cool maniacs. HAHA. But omgosh it seriously was a shock. I wasn't expecting it at all cause everyone was SO GOOD. Today is the 2-year anniversary of 9-11. We'll always remember. We had a pretty nice discussion about it in English. I learn something new about all aspects of the event every year. "It was an attack on our way of life."

The week was pretty cold but it turned sunny again today..YAY! There's been lots of quizzes and tests but they weren't too bad. I had choir rehearsal after school today. After that, Elaine and I went to New York Pizzeria to eat. Yum. Then she nicely took me back to school 'cause I had forgotten to get stuff from my locker. HAHA thanks dearie. Then she dropped me off at home. Agh I hate how Lopez tells us everything last minute. She didn't tell us to bring stuff for tomorrow until today and my parents don't have time. Plus, I have no idea how I'm gonna raise all my fair-share monies for choir and drama..but mainly for choir. When the time comes, PLEASE buy candy, hollywood knights tickets, pancake breakfast tickets, and whatever junk, I mean, awesome dawsome stuff I have to sell. PLEASE =D

Oh mayn, club registration stuff is in full swing. They are such a drag. -_- Too bad colleges put such a big impact on the involvement in them. Agh my mommy won't gimme monies for Key Club registration. She's so stubborn and totally unwilling to help/fund me when it comes to electives and extracirriculars since she says grades are all I need. Arghhhh. I wish I weren't broke. I haven't seen anything for Bottles for the Bay yet..interesting. I also really wanna do Class Cabinet but it's really very competitive this year. Oh well, it can't hurt to try!

Drama is lotsa fun. We had been working on "Servant of Two Masters" comedia stuff and the performances today were hilarious. (= Agh auditions are next week. So is Alpha. And schoolwork of course. Oh dearrrr. okay, now I must stop slacking and study for English/read for U.S. Till next time!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SANDY!!!!!! Also, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAYS JOSEPH AND MATT!!!!! Their birthdays were yesterday.

I don't understand her. I have bad timing. Seriously. I regret what I said on that impulse. But I still don't understand, even though I try.

Well, my grandma is in the hospital, for something that the relatives could not explain in English. We went to visit her last night. Thank goodness she was and is going to be okay. I was so scared. Memories of her throughout my life were flashing through my eyes. It reminded me of my uncle. Rest in peace, 4th Uncle.

Realization: I have a wall between myself and other people. Trust is hard. Only I truly know me. Most of the time everything is normal, guh-REAT! Then sometimes I get flashes of frustration and am overwhelemed by everything and it all comes shooting at me. The next minute, it's gone and everything's great again. HARHAR 'cause really, there's SO much more to be grateful for than to think about the bad stuff. (=

I had an English quiz and a U.S. test today. I hope/think I did decent. Joy! HAHA it's kinda sad, but it's kinda good that school's keeping me so busy. I'm actually absorbing what I'm learning, unlike previous years. At least I think I am. HAHA. Except sometimes my mind strays when monotonous, lecturing voices drone (i.e. Davies/Nelson), so I have to shake myself and snap back to reality. HAHA. Maynnnn and it's only the first week. Ack.

Wednesday, September 3, 2003 // FEELING )x overwhelmed
Wow, summer really is over. Too bad I'm not gonna change the layout anytime soon 'cause there's TOO MUCH WORK. AGH! Anyways, the last few days of summer were great since all I did was chill. Yesterday was the first day of school. I didn't sleep the whole night 'cause I drank thai tea before I went to bed. That was NOT smart. Anyways, it was GUHREAT seeing everyone again. My teachers didn't seem so bad...just really boring. The workload is gonna be rough this year. Thank goodness it was a minimum day. After school, Sharon, Jane, Staci, Sandy, and I went to eat lunch at McDee's. I think all of Walnut was there HAHA. After that, I went home and went school-supplies shopping )))=. That night, I watched 'Performing As' on Fox11 cause my old choir director from South Pointe performed as Barbra Streisand...and won! HAHAH it was pretty awesome. Thea and I were like OMG! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?! Now she's gonna compete in the finals. 8) Today was kinda the real first day of school. There's so much work. English is okay/boring. Kondan is a maniac in Spanish...holy guacamole I'm scared. Davies is BORING..dangit I kept falling asleep and it's only the second day. Nelson is BORINGER...must work on my own. Choir is same ol'. I'm glad MICH is staying! YAY! Drama seems like a lot of work..but it'll be fun. I just hope I have time to do everything. It kinda sucks cause we're all kinda on our own since none of the teachers give notes. Dude, I have to go back to Alpha in 2 weeks too. )'= OKAY, now I must stop procrastinating and do my gay homework. Goodbye..!

Saturday, August 30, 2003 // FEELING =D awesomeee!
YAY NO MORE ALPHA!!!! HAHA it was funky cause I came to class half an hour late and I left an hour later! YEAY! Also, I finished my journals! JOY JOY JOY! Now I don't have to worry anymore!!! WHOO! Too bad there's only 2 days of summer left. But it's a-okay!! Well, I mainly spent my day with Sharon and her fam today. I always seem to see Sharon but I feel like I haven't talk talked to her in forever. Anyways, Sharon's momma picked me up at Alpha and took me to the salon and Sharon and I got haircuts. Mayn I was stupid and accidentally gave the lady a 50 for tip when I meant to give her a 5. HAHA good thing she was nice and told me so I could exchange it! After that, we went to Sharon's house to eat. She always has to feed me...gracias gracias! Then her family and I went to Cabazon and Desert Hills. It was SO HOT there. Sharon and I shopped and stuff and only bought stuff at PAC SUN! Yea baby! *SOB* I have no more monies. Anyways, then we went to eat dinner at Hometown Buffet in Moreno Valley. [BEAUTIFULLLLLL! First of all, I would like to say HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY PEGGY!!!! Her birthday was on the 26th. (= Also, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY ALDEN!!! His birthday was yesterday. =D

AGHH there's hardly any days of summer left. NOO! Today, Jane came over and we chilled for a while until Christina, Jerry, and Christina's little sister Hilary came to pick us up. We went to eat brunch at Denny's. That was fun. I haven't seen them in a while. Jerry's driving scared the life out of me. Omgoshers. HAHA. We couldn't decide what to do after Denny's since we all had a deficient amount of monies so Jerry dropped Jane and me back at my house and we just chilled some more and then we walked to her house and then I came home again cause Mommy was being stinky and wouldn't lemme go bowling with them all. Rawr. Oh well. Congrats to Christina for getting her license! WHOO! Also, Tiff is back from Europe! Welcome back dearie! (=

Then Danny and Patrick came and we left for the restaurant when Sujin came. Everyone got to Buca de Beppi in a while and there was a table long of us and the food was guhreat! Danny was a smart one and snorted red pepper up his nose. He looked like he was gonna die after that. HAHA. After dinner and cake and presents, we went to Patrick's house to chill for a while. Today was a good day! Sharon and I went to Jane's after class today and we chilled for a while and then went to the nails place by Von's so Jane and Sharon could do their nails. HELLO!!! This week has been awesome dawsome but also pretty busy so let's recap, shall we?! (= On Tuesday, I got my permit! YAY! HahaHA it was great 'cause I got the same test Josh got so I missed 0..YAY! That night, Sharon and Sandy came to visit me and we chilled for a few hours. On Wednesday, Christina and Jerry came to visit for a few and then Casey picked me up and that was fun. On Friday, I went to Raging Waters with Sharon, Jane, Josh, Staci, Jiun, Sandy, and Jerry. That was lotsa fun! The rides were great, especially when one of them shut down while we wre waiting and when it finally went back up, Jiun went on it, lost his glasses and it shut down again while they searched for his CLEAR glasses and Staci, Jane, and Sandy were still up there. HAHAhA. Then we left to drop Josh off and aome of us went to chill at Jiun's house. Jerry and Jiun tried to teach me how to play guitar but my nails made it kinda difficult. Then they watched The Ring and I got tricked into watching it )))))=. At around 9ish, we met up Sharon, Sandy, and Jane at Applebee's for dinner. Yup that was a good day! Yesterday was Annie's birthday...HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNIE!!! I couldn't stop by her casa )=. My daddy got his new car yesterday. My mommy's a tough one. They argued witht he dealer till 10 p.m. They got a good deal I guess! Oh yea, I also developed pictures! (= Today, Rick, his friend, Wilson, and Kenny stopped by.
