My mom and my brother are laughing their heads off. Why, you ask? MY BROTHER IS TAKING THE SAME CLASS AS ME THIS SUMMER. He went to summer school registration this afternoon and he got Computer Keyboarding 1st period this summer. Omg...he's not even a freshman yet and I have to see him...in the same class. Can you say ironic?

Today is Memorial Day...so Happy Memorial Day! I actually attempted to exercise today. I went on my treadmill for a while while watching 7th Heaven. Then I got tired so I turned it off. HAHA. Daddy drove me to Alpha around 3ish and when I got there, the receptionist said there was no class. OMGOSHERS this is the 3rd time. Mister Kim DID say there would be class today! ERGH! Anyways, i called Shaorn to tell her but she was like, "Omg I'm already here!" and I was like, "I'm just pulling out!" She was right behind me in Sandy's car. LOLs. So we both stopped in the Big Lots parking lot and I went into Sandy's car and we were thinking of somewhere to go, but we couldn't think of anywhere exciting so we ended up at the mall. We saw Chester there! Anyways, Sharon, Sandy, and I spent forever in Old Navy and then we watched Down With Love. It's not that great of a movie, but I think Renee' Zellweger (or however you spell it) is kinda really annoying. Omgoshers, her pursed lip smile drove me nuts. HAHA..Sharon said: it was very stupid that i guess in a way. it was worth the 7 bucks just to laugh. coz it was soo lame. the story line was good. very kute. but the actress. rene zellweger. OMGOSH. that girl.uh. interesting. you should've seen helen's face. it was halarious. you gotta be there. HAHAH! Seriously! After the movie, Sandy drove Sharon and me to my house and we just ate; I got Sharon to like TARO! =D Then we chitter-chattered like we always do, and then she went home. Sharon, I'm so EXCITED!!! HAHA! Anyways, I just bs'ed all my hw just now. I didn't even do ALpha hw or English yet. Aren't you proud of me?! Okay, BYE! =D SMILEEEEEE!!!!!

The following article from the Aug. 25, 1999, Los Angeles Times should dispel those groundless claims made by several generations of sociologists and social psychologists that people are naturally ethnocentric and that racial prejudice is an intuitive response to differences among different
ethnic and racial groups. Could it be that the high school students in Walnut, California, are some mutants or that their "hard-wiring" was compromised by pollutants? Or, could it be they were not carefully taught to be ethnocentric?

Learning to Look Past Race
Walnut's young people, seeing friends rather than skin color, may offer a glimpse into America's future. Observers say the town shows how suburbia is being reinvented as an agent of social change.

If you want to time-travel to a future American suburb, turn off your television and walk through this year's Walnut High School prom.
Thai American junior Sara Vichit, luminous in a shimmering gown, is slow-dancing with a black senior, Chris Matthews, whose tuxedoed elegance hints at the adult world he is graduating into. There's Jesse Waites, who is white, moving in sync to a hip-hop beat with his African American date,
Tiffany Palmer, and a Latino friend, Steven Casado.
Forget the increasingly anomalous all-white world on prime-time TV. This is MTV International. Here, diversity is commonplace, comfortable--and cool.
"Nobody's going to turn their head if an Asian girl comes with an African American boy," Principal Ken Gunn said. "That's not the source of any tension." Or, as a young woman at the prom asked: "Isn't it like this everywhere now?"
No, it's not. In fact, this affluent, eastern San Gabriel Valley suburb of 32,000--which went from predominantly white to two-thirds Asian, black or Latino in a generation--is among the most diverse in America. Yet instead of undergoing white flight, it is one of a handful of diversifying communities nationwide that actually gained white residents as it grew. Today, members of Walnut's white old guard find themselves proud grandparents
of children of partly Asian, Latino and black heritage. High school students stray from the usual borders of ethnic identity into a common youth culture that makes some of their elders a little uncomfortable. And diversity has
become an integral element of civic identity. In ethnically fragmented, sometimes fractious Southern California, here is
a place that--however imperfectly--quietly works. Could this prosaic outpost of suburbia--with its bland strip malls, prefab Old West kitsch and Norman Rockwell hypernormality--be hosting the kind of social transformation that still eludes older, more glamorous communities in Southern California?
Some believe that Walnut is, indeed, a glimpse into a plausible future California--a state in which half of all residents are expected to be nonwhite by 2001. "There are only a few places in America like this," said James Allen, a Cal State Northridge professor and co-author of "The Ethnic
Quilt," a book on Los Angeles County's changing demography. "If a multiethnic society is worked out in America, I would think it is worked out in places like Walnut. The future of America is in the suburbs," he said.
And nowhere more than in California is suburbanization--that long-ridiculed chariot of conservative American white flight--being reinvented as an agent of social change. And in few states does it have more far-reaching consequences. In Los Angeles County, for example, two of three people live somewhere in the suburban sprawl.
Many Southern Californians already know that the stereotype of the American suburb as a "Brady Bunch," white-bread enclave no longer applies. From western Ventura County to San Diego, middle-class diversity is a suburban phenomenon--sometimes in suburbs that owe their very existence to white
flight.
But even by Southern California standards, cities in the eastern San Gabriel Valley--such as Walnut and Diamond Bar--are far more integrated than most places, according to William Clark, a UCLA expert in residential segregation.
Researchers say that here, race is less likely to determine socioeconomic status. Interracial marriage, they contend, is common. And teenagers appear less likely to polarize into the kinds of rivalry that sparked a two-day student melee over Cinco de Mayo vs. Black History Month at Inglewood High
School last year. "We're talking about only a handful of communities, but the fact that they exist is important," Clark said. "It's an indication of this greater tolerance."
Jonis Moreno, a Walnut student of Filipino and Latino heritage, said that at
other schools she attended kids withdrew into ethnic groupings. When she visits relatives in Carson, "they're like, 'She's Filipino and she's not hanging around with Filipinos. How weird.' " In Walnut, "everybody's mixed
together."

Now I'm home. I can't wait 'till THE event! I'm so excited! BUGS&NATURE! We gotta do it! I want the Style channel!

Today was REALLY HOT. Omgoshers sizzle! We watched more of Moulin Rouge in dance. We forgot our buckets last time so we took them home this time. Went to the pep rally. It was pretty cool! Sophomores got 4th place..omgoshers IMPOSSIBLE! That's only 'cause half the sophs were kicked out 'cause the gym was already too full. Wushu was awesome! Colorgaurd was cool! I liked their dresses. Dance Team was awesome dawsome as usual! After school, got a McDees premium salad and boba and then went to Alpha...blahblahblah. When I got home, I watched taped Smallvilles...thanks to my bro's amigo! After that, I watched American Idol...omgoshers they sang our 8th grade showchoir song: Rhythm of the Night! RUBEN WON! AWESOME DAWSOME! I also got my CAHSEE scores: math-437/350, english-435/350, essay 1-2.5/4, essay 2-3.5/4. How sad. Essays SUCKED. GRRrrr! Anyways, I have to study my research for U.S. History AP testing thing tomorrow. I'm so scared! AGHH! Okays, i"m gonna go study for it now. *crosses fingers*

Well, I spent the whole day with pea again. HAHA. She came at 8:30 in the morning and woke me up -_- and then Mommy took us to Alpha. After verbal, we tried walking to Jack in the Box but it was really scary 'cause of all the mexican guys. So when we got halfway there, we got so freaked out we kinda ran back to the korean market and ate there. Then we tested and Mommy picked us up afterward and drove us to the mall. We saw Jiun, Josh, Jerry, Chester, Michael, Dennis, and Daniel there. We asked this guy to buy Matrix tickets for us and he did so yeay! We went into the theater and it was all really full. Saw the guys there and saw Elmer, Angel, and Ashely too but the amc people opened up another theater so Sharon and I went there and there were these lil gurls sitting next to us and they laugh REALLY LOUD. haha. The movie was good. I didn't understand the end when the guy was talking to Neo but yea it was guh-reat from what I interpreted. After the movie, I got cheesecake! It was really good! Then we took booth pics. Sat with the guys for a while and then left and Sharon's momma took me home. Oh maynnnnn, I have so much hw tomorrow: Spanish, math, essay for english, and RESEARCHING for us history ap testing! AGHHHH! Well anyways, I'm going to go slack off some more and watch Charlie's Angels! YAY!!!! =D

The beginning of today was really worriesome but it got better at lunch (during which I had Coldstone's...YUMMY!!!!! =DDD). Since opening night of Dance Production was yesterday, I was barely able to do any of my homework last night, and study for the 3 tests I was going to have the next day. I was so glad when the tests weer over though. Spanish- pretty confusing but I think I did alright. Math- wasn't as hard as I expected and there were only 13 problems! (= Chem- ehhh the same as with every chem test...I fail them all anyway. Anyways, went home after school and ate a ton of fried rice that my momma made...MMMMM mm good! Then got ready and daddy took Arianne and I to school for Dance Production. I watched alot of the dances from the wings...they were so awesome! GOOD JOB YOU GUYS! (((= I didn't mess up on Maniac this time..thank goodness! =D YAY so yea..I wasn't paying attention during Curtain Call though but oh well! Afterwards, a bunch of us went to Applebee's to eat and as usual, the people take forever to get us our food. It was lotsa fun though, with lotsa laughs! "Row row row your boat!" Took lotsa pics...Arianne might come over tomorrow 'cause shes developing her film tomorrow! YAY! That reminds me: I have to get my film developed!
Yesterday, Lopez cancelled choir rehersal (YAY!!), so Casey picked me up after school and we went to Millie's to eat. AWW I haven't seen her for the LONGEST time! We jsut ate and updated each other on stuff. (((= Then I went home to get ready and got to school for Dance Production. I had my mind on the tests I would have the next day so I wasn't as hyped. Messed up on Maniac. I forgot to put my bucket down and I tried to be slick but it got stuck between my legs. -_-;; Oh mayn. That totally bummed me out. Plus, that was the night they were videotaping. DANGNABBIT. LOls. Anyways, Casey and Itzel came to watch. (((((= That made me happy pappy since I haven't seen them for centuries. Then I went home and freaked out about tests the next day. -_-;;

Today was summer school and registration sign-ups. We were kinda in the middle in the lottery. YAY. I didn't even know I had to go since I had already gotten my class, but people reminded me that I needed to make an appointment to register for classes for the fall. So yea...had to go and stuff. My registration is on Saturday, July 26 at 10:20 a.m. How fun. Registered for my brother too. Oh mayn he's gonna be a freshman next year! NOoooO! Anyways, then Sharon and I went to Alpha. Borrowed Josh's permit test...thanks you! I'm getting my permit soon you guys! I'm gonna DRIVE! Oh mayn watch out! HAHA. We got ice cream at Rite Aid again. YUM. When I got home, Mommy said we might switch phones/plans this weekend! JOY!

Hiyo all! Today was a good day (=. I went testing at Alpha with Josh and Sharon came later. I'm bringing 2 pencils next time. After testing, Sharon and I walked to RiteAid to buy ice cream. YUM! Then Sharon's parentals picked us up and we went to the mall for a while. We bought earrings again! Earrings fetish! WHEE! We saw Steph there and then we saw Alice and Cathie and I saw Mich there (=. It's so asiany there. -_-;; We were gonna take booth pics but there were all these couples in prom stuff in the booth so we didn't. Then Sharon's paretals picked us up again and they went to MarketWorld and we went next door to Joann's for a while to see if they had my blank buttons/pins but they didn't )=. BOO. Then we went to Subway and I ordered our "club on herb&cheese bread with everything on it except bell peppers and extra pickles and peppercine." Then we went to Sharon's house and played with her webcam. LOLLLL it was HILARIOUS. We recorded videos too! We took so many pics so we decided to make a picture trail! I had an awesome dawsome day you guys! ((((((= I got to school at 7:00 in the morning to talk to Mister Dutton about summer school, and I got Comp Keyboarding 1st period. Mister Dutton's awesome dawsome. If you're taking Comp. Keyboarding over the summer, take it 1st period with Jacoby yea?! =D Then I went to the Choir welcoming party thingy. Ate lots of food, tripped over stuff and made a fool of myself, and just talked! I got my silver ribbon that Thea had to help me pin 'cause the pins work funky and I also got my balloon! Thanks you Debbie for the YWOFY thingy (=.1st was boring. I got a 98 on my Spanish Test though! I thought I did really bad, so YAY (=. In second, Supersonic and us Maniac girls changed to see if we could make our costume changes in time and we practiced in the theater. OMGoshers I got angry 'cause we weren't comfy doing some of the choreography with the shorts we were wearing. I asked Tomlin if we could NOT wear the shorts and somethign else instead but she said we'll have tights and a leotard so it'll be fine. If she says so. HAHA. Mayn, I was running all over the place 'cause I couldn't change in time but Tomlin said we'll have helpers after Maniac so it'll be faster. YAY. I accidentally popped my balloon after 2nd, too. )= BOO! I was about to fall asleep in 3rd 'cause I was really tired and at the end of class when I aws walking out, Iacopetti asked me if I was okay 'cause she thought I looked "down" LOLLL. I DID fall asleep in 4th. Liz makes yummy mac&cheese. MMm thanks dear! I found out my grade. I STILL have an 80.5(BOO!) even though I didn'tdo that well in the past tests, so that was surprising. I hope it'll go up 'cause I think I did okay on the last test we took and notebooks aren't graded yet so...*crosses fingers*. During lunch, Josh drags me over and tells me that he's found my "twin," supposedly a girl he and Dennis and them think looks like me. HAHA. I don't know about that. In 5th, we ran 'Under the Boardwalk.' It's so much freestyle...me encanta! I also got another balloon. Thanks you Rabia. In 6th, we read part of "Night" by Elie Wiesel and the cover photo was so horrible. It was a photo of a bunch of Holocaust survivors and it was so tragically sad. The looks they had on their faces...and they were so skinny, starved, )=. I couldn't tear my eyes away. It was so horrifying. Yet, they seemed to be so happy at the same time. The War was over by the time the photo was taken. ('= I want to read the rest of the book now. After school, I went home and took a nap. Daddy came home and I received the nomination letter for "Who's Who Among American High School Students." How cool.

I was trying to do my math homework but I'm not getting it so I decided to rant in here for a while. (=
What is up with our weather?! It's May and it's RAINING?! No!!! It's supposed to be beautiful and sunny...beachy weather! Well, today was a good day! We had a sub in Belcher and we watched La Serenita (The Little Mermaid). *SOB* I almost cried. HAHAHA (= I love that movie. I actually understood some of it too. YAY! In dance, I got called up by Dutton 'cause I was allowed to register for summer school early and I feel bad 'cause I couldn't decide whether to take Comp. Keyboarding 1st or 2nd period in the summer. I wanted to take Psych at MtSAC during the summer and then take Comp. Keyboarding 2nd period at school, but I haven't turned in my application for MtSAC yet so I have to talk to Dutton about it tomorrow. We had a sub in math..cool Mister Little who didn't remember me from 3 years ago. HAHA. Chem test...pretty easy JOY! I got called up during Chem and when I got to the office, Mister Dutton remembers that I ALREADY saw him today. HAHA. New choreography in choir. Slept in English while analyzing a poem and at the end of class, Mrs. Dutton was like, "Did anyone see Helen back there? I was the only one who noticed; she was dead asleep, nodding her head and everything." HAHAAH -_-;; After school, Sharon and I saw this guy stressing/majorly FREAKING OUT about his schedule and he was like wailing/crying/pulling at his hair. It was really sad/freaky/funny. "OMG...Is that NORMAL?!" When I got home, Daddy took me to MtSAC so I could turn in my applications and register to take the assessment test and the guy that was helping me with the stuff looked at my application and was like, "Walnut High School...the GREATEST school on earth..do you like high school?" in a really sarcastic way. HAHA. Omgoshers, I'm a standby to take the assessment test. How GAY is that?! I'm supposed to take the standby test this coming Tuesday at 4:30. I don't think I can anyway, 'cause that's Dance Production Tech Rehersal. Mayn, so many people are so much more ahead of me in the registering process, and they still can't get a class. I think I'm going to just forget about going to summer school at MtSAC...but I don't just want to take Comp Keyboarding at school. Today went by really fast. It was all a blur. I don't remember anything! Omgoshers, I DO remember that I had a dream last night that Lopez hated me. -_- HAHAHA. It's probably my fear of trying out for an officer. Anyways, Choir results for the 2003-2004 Choirs were posted today. Congrats everyone who made it into the choir of their choice!!! (= Awesome dawsome. Anyways, I went home after school and then at 6:30, Daddy drove me to Subway so I could get Sharon's "club on herb&cheese bread with everything on it except bell peppers and extra pickles and peppercine." Then we went to school, picked Sharon and Josh up and went to Alpha. When we got there, the receptionist tells us there's no class! Omgoshers, this is the 2nd time this has happened to me. Anyways, I call Daddy back really fast and Sharon and I went back to my house, ate our Subway, watched Punk'd and Sharon left and now I should do my load of homework. I don't wanna!
I don't think I'm going to try out for ASB after all. =/
I STILL have to register for MtSAC summer school. Hopefullies Daddy can take me Thurs. or Fri.!

Hiya everyone! Today was guhhhhh-REAT! My grandparents came over in the morning and my grandma was like "Good luck today!" HAHA. Today was SCVA (Southern California Vocal Association) Show Choir Competition at Long Beach Poly High School! I got to school at 12:15ish, my spirits already soured by my attitudy brother. But as the day went on, I totally forgot about him so YAY =D. Lyn had an extra boba milk tea, so I bought it from her! I was so happy! I was thinking of getting boba today but I didn't, and I ended up being able to have one anyway! YAY! Thanks dotty! We were all supposed to leave for the competition at 12:30 but unfortunately, the bus was late. Then it started raining so we all had to haul the boxes, show and real umbrellas, snacks, and clothes, makeup, and stuff to shelter between the lockers. Meanwhile, Lopez was frantically calling and got another bus driver to come, who, when she did arrive, said she came out of the house in such a rush that she didn't put on any makeup or brush her hair. LOL. Anyways, we got to LBPHS around 2 and the air smelled beachy =D. It made me happy pappy! We went inside the auditorium and watched the last two groups of the High School Mixed II divison: Diamond Bar DiamondTones and Nogales Chamber Singers. It was cool! Isis, Julia, and I recognized SOOO many people we used to know in SP in Diamondtones. It was cool (=. Then we had a break, and Isis, Lyn, and I went to visit Jenn and Vivian at the Diamond Bar side of the auditorium and it was so funny 'cause we were going towards them and they were in front of us but they were looking to the side so when we got their attention, they were like, "We were looking for you!" HAHA what a coincidence! But yea, we talked for a while, kodak moments, and Jenn, Piper, and I relived our Alpha moments. Guh-ROSS. LOL. Then our division (High School Women II) started and we sat through 2 choirs' shows who weren't that entertaining and we already watched before at El Mo's competition. Then, *drumroll*...Diamond Bar Diamondaires did their show and it was GUH-REATTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AwWWWW Jenn and Vivi and Piper were so cute! Piper and her 'Colors of the Wind' solo, whoo! Go baby! hahhaha. They were definitely the best so far. Then it was Jurupa Valley's turn next and we already watched them at RCC and since we were after them, we went to warm up. We sounded really good in the warm up room 'cause it resounded back and stuff so we were all hyped and excited =D. Omgoshers when we started the show, I was SO nervous. I think this was everyone's most nerve-wracking competition 'cause it was our last one, and our last chance to do our best. I heard Jenn and Vivi in the audience, thanks you guys! I messed up quite a few times but it was okies. (=. Anyways, awards time for our division: 3rd- Diamond Bar Diamondaires! GOOD JOB YOU GUYSSS!!!!!!! 2nd- Walnut Women's Ensemble! YAY!!!! 1st- Redlands Les Chanteuses. We all thought judging was bizarre and I guess it's true. Judging is always very subjective. Alot of us thought it was bizarre that Redlands got 1st. Hehe what do we know?! Diamondaires and we tied for second, but we got second 'cause we got higher points for music. Redlands also got the music plaque and DB got the show plaque. No doubt about that! When we left for home, it was only around 5:30 and we weren't scheduled to be back till around 8:00 so we decided to go eat at Applebee's! So a group of us (Isis, Julia, Lyn, Christa, Nikki, Christina, Kate, Marvi, Debbie, Elaine, Mildrey, Lisa, and I) went to Applebee's and ate and talked. We saw Clements there and he said he remembered me but not my name. Anyways, I had a Smothered Grilled Chicken, YUM! Isis, Debbie, and I split a Dulce de Leche Cheesecake(even though Debbie ended up not eating any of it) and it was so cute 'cause Isis ordered it in Spanish! WHOO! Bust out those skills! So, lots of laughs, kodak moments, talk, bonding, magic tricks (HAHA Debbie should be a magician!), and I learned a new card game! (= Overall, it was an awesome dawsome day.

Today was the last day of CAT6 Testing! JOYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! The Chem section was pretty hard. )))= I guessed on nearly half of them. Sigh. I didn't eat lunch today 'cause I'm trying to save monies but Sharon gave me gum and you know what I found out??! Gum delays hunger pangs! haha. Anyways, Mommy took Sharon and me to Alpha after school...thanks for the nuts pea! They're addicting! LOL (((= We tested for a while until Sandy picked us up to go to the mall. We saw Jenn in the parking lot haha. Anyways, we went too late for the 4:30 X-men so we tried to get the next one but that was sold out so bleh. We ended up not watching it (BOOO!!!! I'm sorry! It was my fault!) but we ate and we saw Chris, Jane, Patrick, and people and they sat for a while but they left. Then we went to Claire's and we each got a pair of earrings. YAY! Candy too. We each bought candy and I bought lots for tomorrow. Then we left. I'm so sorry for being all worried and stuff! But Thanks mucho you guys! You guys rock my socks! Psycho stalker! Middle-aged guy! AgHHHHH! HAHAHAH "I'm gonna have you NAKED. by the end of this song!" WHOO!

Today was the 4th day of CAT6 testing. Tedious. I was so glad when it was over. It was kinda funny though, 'cause when I was walking to my locker after testing, I passed by a group of teachers, and one lady was like, "....stinkin' kid took the whole period..." HAHAHA it was so funny...to see teachers out of their "teaching students" mode. Anyways, today was kick back. We watched the second half of Iron Giant in Chem. Shawna and Mindy thought I was crying when the iron giant was running away. I was about to sneeze, you guys. LOL. We ran the show in choir. Lopez said she FINALLY felt the energy and enthusiasm that was missing! AWESOME! English was fun as usual. After school, I had choir rehersal in the dance room. Tomlin wasn't there so I didn't have a chance to get a Dance Production shirt...but we ran the show again. YAY. I'm excited for this Saturday! Come see us at Long Beach Poly High School!

Awww, Spring Break 2003 is over and now we're all back in school. Fantastic! -_-;;
This week is CAT 6 Testing and the name of the darn standardized tests changes every year. It's harder this year. Guessed on the whole History section 'cause I don't remember a single thing from World History. I'm in Belcher's room and I'm one of the three sophomores in there. Everyone else is a junior. I don't really know anyone in there except Elaine, Mildrey, and Julian. Fun fun. I pretty much finished as fast as I could so I could sleep. MMm sleep (=. It's kinda strange 'cause after we're all finished, Belcher makes his trip around the room to talk to us. He always tells me what we're going to do in class. HAHA so I be polite and I nod and smile =D. Testing week is good 'cause we don't have every single class every day so there's less homework. That's always good.
I went to Alpha with Sharonah yesterday after school. We got McDee's new salads before we went to class and they're really good! I placed the order wrong 'cause I thought of Wendy's Asian Chicken Salad and I tried ordering it and they got all confused and the lady had to call the manager. We finally got the order straight but she forgot to give us our fries. RAWR. What if she did it on purpose?! Oh well. During class, I was being too loud and having a really short attention span 'cause the great ones (Sharon, Josh, and Chester) were there and Jeffray kept picking on me. It was to the point that he had to sit on one of the desks and stare at me until I got to work. -_-. Sorry to Sharon and Josh for being iffy during class. =/ It's just me!

OWWW. I just tried to run on the treadmill but I just ate 30 minutes ago so I started getting a stitch on my side. Yep. It was painful.
Today was okies! Mommy took me to Alpha in the morning 'cause she wanted me to test. They weren't open! o DARN, what a PITY! LOLs. So we went home and Aunt D came over and left Frederick here. Then we went to San Gabriel and ate. Harrison brought his RC and raced it around. It was cool but it practically killed me a couple of times. HAHA. Then my cousins (Holden & Harrison) and my bro (Calvin) went out to get boba. It was yummy! Calvin was being an idiot and ran across a big fat street and almost got ran over. Sheesh. Then we went to Life Plaza and they went look for a pc place but Interplay shut down. LOLs they were mad. It was funny. HARDY HAR! Then we found the CUTEST candy store. Lots of asiany candy. But they were colored/shaped REALLY cute. I wanted some of everything. I only spent 3 bucks on candy though. YUMMm and I got CHERRY shaped ones! ((((((((= HAHA Harrison picked out ones called "Poo-poo" HAHA. It was shaped liek poos too! They were good though...and they didn't taste anything liek poo! (= Then we went to a morning glory type of store and I bought PINS! YAY! More pins! Pins are my fetish right now. HAHA. Customized buttons too. Yep! Then we walked back and got hyper and stupid by eating candy. YUMMM. Then Mommy, Calvin, and I left and went to SGS and I bought a black headband with white polka dots at Art Land. OMGoshers it matches the 50's outfit I bought yesterday at Forever! (((((((= Then we went to the bakery and picked up Daddy's bday cake (It was his bday a week ago but we were celebrating today.). We went home and I made a rose out of hot pink ribbon and sewed it to my new headband. YAY (((= Then we ate dinner and Daddy had no idea it was his bday dinner. Lobster yee mien, steak, corn, and salad. He took forever to eat though, but when he was finally done, Mommy, Calvin, and I brought out the cake and sang Happy Birthday. Lols he was so surprised! Happy happy day (=
Sigh. I've been eating too much. My mommy said I got fatter. bOOOO....and she told me to run. I ran too soon though. Stupid stitch.

Today
Today was a nice day! Liz left at 8:30 in the morning though )=. A few hours later, Mommy took me to Montclair mall and we shopped. It was a shopping day today! WHOOOO i got some stuff ((((= yay YAY! It was fun trying on dresses I would never buy at Windsor (=. I did get this coordinating top and skirt at forever though! It's very 50's (((= I LOVE the 50's clothes (((=. Maybe I'll wear it to the choir banquet! Anyways, Mommy and I kind of "bonded", I guess. Yep! Then we went to Stater Bros. and bought all this food. YUMMMM. We couldn't stop eating Quakes. Those are SOO good.
Yesterday
I had a movie night at my house! Well, I was going to watch The Ring for my risk for English (I'm terrified of scary movies. I got nightmares after watching Goosebumps in 3rd grade! )=..so what better risk than to watch one of the scariest movies ever?!) and Arianne was going to too. Angel also wanted to watch it with us so we all decided to watch it together! We asked Liz to come too, but she was too scared to watch The Ring, but she would come over for teh comedy (=. Anyways, Angel came over after dinner and we just hung out and watched Friends until Arianne got home but she didn't rent the movies yet so Angel and I went over to her casa to pick up the handy dandy Blockbuster card and Mommy drove us to Blockbuster. We rented The Ring and a comedy (The Long, Long, Trailer starring Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz =DDDDDDDDDDDDD) so the scariness could wear off. Omgoshers the girl in front of us in the line took FOREVER. Then we went home and Arianne said her momma probably wouldn't let her come over so we were muy sad 'cause it was just Angel and me watching..at night. *SOB* It was SO FREEKIN SCARY. When we screamed our heads off for the first time, my parents and bro got scared too so after that, we had to stifle our screams. Omgoshers it was scary. YES. I was hiding under the blanket most of the time but i still WATCHED! Angel kept saying, "Helen! You have to watch! It's your risk!" I did!...with one eye. HAHA. Then Liz came over at around 10? and said she got lost on the way. Poor Liz! (= She hid under the blanket while we watched the rest of the movie, and after that, we started watching Jackass but since Daddy was still up, we switched it to The Long Long Trailer. Angel had to leave in the middle of it )= Her daddy didn't let her sleep over. bOO. When Daddy went to sleep, we watched Jackass. Omgoshers that movie is so STUPIDLY HILARIOUS/GUH-ROSS. The things guys do...HAHA. Then Liz and I had a girl talk =D and it was guh-REAT! We slept at around 3? and I was too tired to have nightmares. YAY!

I know it's pessimistic and somewhat childish and typical but...
My mom and I will never understand each other....at least not in this time frame.
We might get along sometimes (joy!) but that doesn't mean that we understand each other.
My brother told me something interesting. When mommy and he went to alpha last week so mommy could interrogate Mister Kim and ask if I had truly been doing my work and attending all the classes, Mister Kim, instead, told her not to be too overprotective 'cause I'm not a little kid anymore and to let my bro and me live a little because he thinks I've been too stressed lately. Also, he also told her to show us more love. HAHAHA. But omgoshers...I was so surprised when my bro told me. When I asked my mom if what my bro said what Mister Kim said was true, she didn't really answer. My bro was like, "See, she doesn't even listen." Then mommy was like, "I am your mom. I am always right." Omgoshers, how much more narrow-minded can one get??? I know she respects Mister Kim, but she's not going to put any of his advice to use. I guess she doesn't expect that kind of stuff from a teacher. HAHA...as for me, I think it's awesome. Maybe his words will sink in someday. Hopefullies!
Anyways, I was supposed to go paintballing today with Christina, Vicky, Jerry, Jiun, and some people I don't know but we found out that we were supposed to make reservations...so we ended up not going. BOO! I was looking forward to it too. Oh well (=

I developed pictures today! Well, I dropped them off at the 1 Hour Photo yesterday and picked them up today. There was the HUGEST traffic and the traffic light wouldn't change to green so we were stuck at the intersection for literally 30 minutes. Hello all! Well, well, well, looks like a new layout, doesn't it?! YAY! But of course, it isn't finished yet. I've gotta do all the content. It'll take me a while so check back here in a few days, yea?!
It's SPRING BREAK! Wahhhh-oooooooo! No hw, tests, etc for a week! Not even Alpha! Anyways, the past week has been boring, plus an excessive amount of tests. Yuck! It rained on Monday...boOoO! No me gusto'! I think I pretty much failed all of my tests, except for spanish. Spanish was pretty easy (=. In choir, we were running our show again since we have another competition the saturday after spring break. We're short of umbrellas for "Singin' in the Rain" so Jenn and Debbie were teaching new choreography to us box people with spreamers that are kinda supposed to represent rain. *shrug* On wednesday, we took the dance picture for Dance Production. It was cool to see what other people were wearing. (=
On a sad note, I miss the King and I! It was an awesome show (I think) and now its all gone: the rehearsals, teh performances, the cast, etc, etc, etc. LOL. *sigh* but then the next production coming up....Dance Production! It's on May 15 & 16 so get your tickets you guys!
A sadder note...my whole family isn't getting along. Everyone is mad at somebody. This is so gay.
Book 5 of the Harry Potter series (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix) is coming out on June 21st! I'm excited!
