Online Toys:
I love online toys. Guestbooks, counters, weblogs, you name it, I love 'em. Which, of course, is why I always end up with three of everything, as I try out what all you can do with 'em. And the weblogs are no different. I have my pita, Aiyla's pita, and now a Live Journal account.
I got my pita because . . . well, because Ash was doing it and it looked REALLY cool. (I'm a follower, no question about it!) I got Aiyla's pita because I just can't make myself keep up with her webpage and I want to see whether or not this will be any better. So far, it is. I just ramble on about her for a while each day, and everything's good to go. I got my LJ account because I wanted people to be able to interact with what I was saying (not that I necessarily think anyone will.)
I'm not getting rid of any of them, either! I intend to use this pita, though, more as an updates place (for my webpages, etc.) and the LJ more as a place for my thoughts and feelings. Aiyla's, obviously, will stay the way it is.
The link to it is at the bottom of the entry. Hopefully, I'll have lots of fun with it!

Cleaning:
I hate housework. I can never seem to just make myself do it and I can never seem to catch up. Ever. Right now, I'm sitting here, looking at the wreck our apartment is, and all I can think about is that I really need to clean up, but it's so hopeless.
In a few minutes, I'll finish this entry, and then I'll get up and start throwing away all the papers and putting up all the toys and sweeping up the Cheerios from this afternoon's "war." (Don't get the reference? Go read my musefic "The Great Cheerio War".) And, of course, there's the books that Aiyla's pulled off the bookshelf, and the laundry that she pulled off the drying rack . . . The joys of living with a small child, I suppose.
I got my first entry for Anime Choices today! It was from Ash, and got put up pretty much immediately. And Rhina's making me a Weiss Kreuz Love is Love banner. You know, of all the brainstorms that have come out of our mailing list in the past, I think Ash's Love is Love website is the best!I've looked at all the different communities "Yaoi-full, etc." and of them all, the only one I'd want my webpages to be a part of is Love is Love.
I'd put a banner up here, but I think one pic is enough for my little corner of the universe. Still, I think that's going to be my interesting link for this entry. So check it out below. And join it, if you've got webpages. The more people in that movement, the better!
Ah well, Aiyla's off my lap now, so I'd better get started. Fun . . .

R.A.S.H. and EQ Fans!
My imoutochan is upset. No one is worshipping Rayek anymore. Actually, that saddens me, too, since I'm a huge fan of his. But she says that no one is visiting RASH. I know it's moved recently, but below I've included the current address (it's also in my list of other hideouts) so that people can go see. Do me a favor? Drop in for a peek? You just might be surprised!
Rayek's actually a pretty nifty character, all things considered. He's a dark hero, a really fantastic foil for Cutter (or Cutter is for him, depending on who you like better!) He does things that even he isn't proud of, in order to achieve what he believes to be best for his people. Since we're outside of the books, we can easily say "You shouldn't do that," but I really like the way he handles himself.
It takes a lot for people to see past his outer arrogance, but once you do, there's a hurting soul beneath, a broken ball of light that makes you want to cherish and protect him. But seeing that comes only through really thinking about what he's done and why.
Wendy and Richard Pini did the world a favor when they created ElfQuest. They created a set of American comic books that actually explore things other than violence, but that are at the same time, readable for children and adults alike (though many adults may wish for their kids to skip The War.) There are good, solid values within the comic, from peace to tolerance. I, for one, am proud to say I'm a fan of this comic book. I hope some of the rest of you will check it out.

Aiyla's Weblog:
So I got bored again and decided that maybe with a weblog where I wouldn't have to do too much coding, I could keep up with Aiyla's online diary. And as I got started working with it, Ashura was kind enough to offer to help out with the pics, so I now have a pic on each page! WHEE!!!
I like the way big blue eyes (Aiyla's Weblog) turned out. It looks sweet and cute, just like her. And I managed to find a pic that had her "froggy" in it! That was a huge relief to me, since that chimeball is her favorite toy in all the world!
I'm not sure I'll be able to make myself update big blue eyes daily, but I'm gonna try! It won't always be good stuff, but it'll be little daily tidbits, a pov of life with a small child . . . We'll see how it goes!
