so so so. i went shopping with laura yesterday, i spent alot of money yesterday (well, including the cell phone which was exactly mine, but it still left me feeling poorer). i bought a dress from urban behaviour. the kind of store my brother applied for a job to. but its got some nice stuff. its kinda "hoochy" me and laura decided, but it was pretty and looked nice with my shoes. everything looked nice with my shoes. at least 4 people told me that yesterday. it was scary. also, today two customers in a row asked if me and my mom were sisters. weird. bet my mom was happy after that!
i'm wearing a new shirt that i also bought yesterday at the mall (to finish off my shopping list, i also bought some jean short pants from bluenotes. they're stretchy). its pretty. i'm excited. i like new clothes. i think i need to learn to control my shopping habits before i go away to school, where i will be on some sort of budget. sheesh...
i believe that's enough for now. i'm going to a party at james' house which starts AFTER 11pm. oh dear. but i'm still excited because ihaven't had mudslides in forever, AND i'm giong to wild waterworks tomorrwo with the free tickets jane gave us. woo! now i'm really done. Friday, June 28, 2002
today was nice. i babysat laura's cousins with her this afternoon and watched spykids (quite a good movie!) and then went to kumon and went out for ice cream with dan and laura and stine, and had a visit with hollie and jane. the most exciting part was that dan drove! woo!
i finished harry potter #4 tonight. i absolutely can't wait for the next one to come out. i just spent the last hour scouring harry potter websites and reading news, rumours, etc. i feel like such a nerd...
tomorrow, i shall get a (pretty) cellphone and then go shopping with laura where i will hopefully get some jeans and some pretty clothes. i haven't been to the mall in awhile. i'm excited. also, jane gave us free tickets to wild waterworks (where she works) so i want to use them this weekend. yaaaay. water is wonderful :)

so. i just basically wasted alot of gas this morning. i was gone from my house for a total of 1 hour (including driving time) going to school and collecting my marks. now i'm awake and bored out of my MIND. and i have about 3 hours until christine picks me up to go volunteering. die. laura said that her and dan may come over to sit in the kiddie pool today. i hppe they at least drop by to amuse me a bit...
last night at kelsey's i thought the waitresses were going to shoot us or something when our party went from 3, to 6, to 8, then 10. oh dear. but at least we were outside, and patio furniture is easier to move around. my steak was delicious.

hmmm. my head feels funny. i think i had too much sleep. anyways, yesterday i had brunch with adam and his parents at the old mill. mmmmm crepes there are SO delicious, as is basically everything else :9. me and jenn knit up a storm for about three hours (all of which adam slept through in my room.......wowee), our sweaters look SO wonderful i'm excited.
did YOU know that lipton's now has mashed potato sidekicks in different flavours?? i'm bursting with excitement.
a question: does anybody know what the hell a "blanket rack" is? my mother tells me that its kinda skinny and you can drape a blanket over it, just for decoration. she wants one. but i have no idea where to look. i'm hoping ikea has them tonight. if anybody has any ideas, please say so in the guestbook?? i woke up about 5 minutes ago. man, i feel SO disoriented. i had like the worst sleep ever last night (or this morning...whatever). after watching the soccer game with adam which went until friggin 5 in the morning (but korea won in shootout! which made up for it kinda), we went to bed but i slept like a two hours between 5 and 11. i was first too wired then lonely then depressed and then FINALLY tired. but i still woke up like every hour. now i feel like i'm hungover or something. die!
also last night, i saw minority report with lots of people. it was wonderful, i really really liked it, i recommend it to everyone :). plus i had harvey's.

i'm doneeee!! whoo! how exciting. today was.....busy. and tiring. after studying and exam and work, sarah and i went to chapters (i bought two bargain books, yay) and kelsey's to have 3.99 appetizers and fries. and then we visited stine and daryl and stuff and i came home. and started one of my books. and my brother's birthday cake kind of melted. but its still delicious :9
tomororw will be busy too. i have to work at the store, then kumon, then knitting with jenn. i was going to maybe go to aquafit with sarah in the morning, but i think that's too much to handle. and i'm tired and i want to sleep in at least a bit tomorrow. mmmm sleep....

a long long time ago, when dan made my page pretty for me (unfortunately, now i've made it ugly again...*sigh) i changed my password so he could get into my pitas account. i never changed it. i dont' know why i just wrote that. i dont' think anybody cares.
ANYways, today was the last day of high school! yay! i'm excited. my exams are tomorrow and wednesday then i'm DONE! wooo!! cept i'm a little nervous for them, because i have to get like perfect on both and keep my average which is currently .2% higher then the cutoff for my scholarship percentage. that's nerve-racking. ahhhhhhhhh
mr. hogan gave me a stupid 75% on my first book report! die! i'm very bitter. jerk. though i probably did enough bonus assignments to make up for it. but still. blahhhhhh i should probably be studying right now. but i'm not. al just convinced me to go with him friday morning to give little kids fruit and snacks at a school on hess street. at 8:30 in the morning. on one of my first days off!! ahhh moment of weakness! well, maybe this way i won't feel so bad about never going to volunteering anymore.....

i haven't felt this awake in weeks. i slept a good 11 or so hours last night. it was wonderful! and work went by fast because jenn came to visit for TOO long, and we had swiss chalet. and i also brought home that new sundae ice cream, and i'm going to eat it soon before i start studying again. studying sucks. jenn's trying to convince me to take a break at 10:30 and watch ocean's eleven wtih her. its SUCH a good movie, but i need to study!

today felt long. i'm not exactly sure why. we had a math quiz, even though ms. kokoski wasn't there so dr. bhar was there to enfore it. and then he changed a question that was probably a trick question into a REALLY easy one. i don't think she'll be very happy about that. oh well. her fault for being lazy and not coming to school! i had perogies and fries during business. they were good. mmmm deep-friedness is delicious!
i'm very tired right now. my mummy told me this morning that it was because i knitted last night. apparently its a very tiring and strenuous activity even though you dont' realize it at the time. (note: jenn and i knitted FOUR rows last night.....yea) so you should take breaks and stuff or you'll be exhausted. does this sound funny to you? cuz it does to me...

today was very boring. i had a spare in one class and about 45 minutes of my other class, then an hour before the grad farewell which wasn't very eventful. the only exciting part was when we got our pictures from the grad ceremony (after searching through a mountain of random pictures on a table!) and seeing some people at school who haven't been there in awhile, such as jenn sarah and crystal hollie and jane. but seeing as i see most of these people somewhat regularily, it wasn't even THAT exciting! oh, but i got to wear my dress. which was nice. :)
hollie and jane both just came on icq and both are ignoring me. SLUTS
there's a bush party in dundas on friday. i thought i might go because ryan's co-organizing the shindig, but i have a feeling my brother and the alliance may also be planning to attend. so yea. we'll see
i think jenn and i are going to knit tonight. ooooh. we're cable queens! our sweaters will SO be done by september. lol. i kid myself. but we're going to try, because if we don't, then i fear they'll never be finished! but anywho, i'm going to possibly go change now (its gotten very cold outside....gross). have a nice day! i've been blogging way too much over the last few days. which probably means i've been on the computer too much, which means i need to get a life. i've been in bed trying to sleep for the last hour but so many freaking thoughts and things are running through my head and not letting me fall asleep!! die. so i shall blog
i need a haircut. i've been looking around at the pictures on the ever-so-famous leah's page because she has nice hair sometimes. though her hair texture's completely different and it makes me sad because i can't have her hair. however, i'm still contemplating getting it cut short for summer. either that or a perm. i'm not joking. (if anyone would like to comment, please do so in the GUESTBOOK!) i like my hair wavy/curly but i just don't have the patience to curl it on a daily basis. though i think i'd have to wait for my hair to grow out a bit more for that. so i dunno. we'll see...
the korea vs. US is on at 2:30am tonight. my mother and brother are very excited. i hope korea wins (for two very obvious reasons; the latter being that i HATE the states) but unless this insomnia keeps me up until then, i have no intentions of actually wasting my sleeptime on the game. bloop bloop!

oooooh guess what? i was productive today. i went to volunteering, WASHED MY CAR (adrianne was washing hers when me and christine got home, so i washed mine in her driveway :) and did our group evaluation with stine. and now i might do some math. i was hoping adam might want to go for ice cream or something but i'm being dumb and waiting to see if he'll call me so we'll see...
i hate how much legs don't tan normally. the rest of my body does. but my legs tan splotchy, if at all. so does my face, but that's less of a problem because i usually wear makeup or tinted moisturizer. bah

ok i'm pulling a jenn and blogging twice HERE in one day. isn't that amazing? i should probably be in bed. i said to myself i might go kickboxing in the morning, but that never really happens. maybe if i went to bed right when i came home at 10:30 it would've. but now it may be too late. because i'm also EXHAUSTED from today.
i'm eating yummy chocolate ganache cake from fortino's. its moussey and chocolatey and light and mmmmmmm! but i was sooooo full from the bowtie pasta at jack astor's that i feel kind of sick now and i can't really finish it. i may just save it for later.
ok, the real reason i wanted to blog was for a "james story". lol goody. well he wasn't helping me think of ideas for my mom's birthday so i told him to get his own present. now, usually when i do this he never actually ends up getting her something and asks me to add his name to my present at the last second (thankfully, my presents are usually nice enough that it can speak for two). this year, he actually got her something. now what was that something? first, he got her one of those things from like green earth, those metal things that you push to get moving and it just keeps going for like an hour. they usually just have like silver balls on the end. except this one has DOLPHINS. i hope somebody knows what i'm talking about. (i just spent a half hour looking for what its called on the net. its SO hard because its NOTHING. useless! its like a mobile on a dest kind of ANYWAYS). i'll post a picture if i can. so he buys this thing, and goes to michael's and buys fake flowers and glue guns them onto this mobile thingy, so now the dolphins are going through basically a ring of flowers. my mom said it looks like a "james present". if you saw it, you'd understand. also, a bunch of his friends came over for like a 15 minutes after fireworks tonight, before clubbing at NRG (fags). they all paraded into the family room to say happy birthday to my mom, then they all looked at marlon two said happy birthday in korean. it was funny but cute because it was the "alliance" and it was definately practiced beforehand. they're odd. and now i'm sick of talking so i'm leaving. g'nite! i'm currently waiting for my mummy to come home from dinner with sophia so we can give her her birthday cake. its her birthday today. (oh gee, really? the cake really didn't give it away....shut up!) i hope she comes home soon though, because no offense, but i'm hungry and have plans to go to jack astor's with hollie and jane tonight. mmmmm ranch salad. i'm excited :)
today was nice. we had a family barbeque/picnic at kelso park in god knows where, and i got a bit of a tan and had waterfights. and graduation presents. fun. i just remembered them again. i forgot i haven't looked at them because i went straight to the store, so i'm going to do that now. bloop. i suppose i should blog. i don't like leaving archived pages blank for too long. its annoying. anyways, today was pretty good so far, except for being woken up to screaming from my mother (the korea-poland game was on this morning....at least they won...) and having a small panic attack over some math stuff that wasn't even on the test this morning. but the test was good, we played cards in business, and i had a nice little chat with ryan before i came home. i might take a nap before my doctor's appointment at 2:45(? i hope) or visit whoever's at star video, hopefully hollie, because i think i need to do some form of exercise today and maybe i can tag along with the sluts to the Y. ooooh. exciting?? maybe. now i must be off.
