today we got the talk today about substance abuse... >_> a little late, if you ask me.
also is club days for law school. i joined the chinese law students' association, the asia pacific law association... and the canadian bar association (as a student, obviously).
this afternoon was the salmon bbq/beer garden. i really can't believe the drinking at noon. 9_9 it's certainly a cause for concern. anyways, lots of cute guys (all blonde, and blue-eyed... and all on the rugby team) serving food and drinks~~ ^_______^ i had a salmon burger and a coke... and used my other drinks tickets (you get 3, for any "beverage") to flirt with some boys. ^_^v our rugby team is like... the stereotypical high school football team. 9_9 in fact, i've heard that law school is exactly like high school... but with more homework... and 100% finals. >_<
also, might i add, "holy corporate sponsorship, batman!" so far i've gotten: a diskette holder, a big... sack, a t-shirt, a travelling mug, a magnet, 3 highlighters, and a pen. plus all the free booze (which, by the way, i'm NOT drinking! honest! ... okay... except for the first day... >_>;;;;)... and we have weekly "bar" society gatherings... all corporate sponsored...
and in other news, i swear i'm developing road rage. thank you.

i've found the law school's computer lab. ^_^V so... despite the fact that we're a very technologically challenged school, we have free internet access! yay! and hook ups for our lap tops... tho supposedly the school has gone wireless... i don't think the law building has... because even my cell phone gets zero service in here. as in, not even analog. 9_9
ah well~~~ here i am! sami mak on her way to becoming a lawyer!
i have a wine and cheese party to attend at 2:30pm. ^_^v
