that's right, peeps! I GOT A NEW EMAIL ADDY!!! but this was is sooo ultra cool!!! it has now surpassed the excitement of sami-p@chichiri.com ... and mieu-mieu@kitty.cc (which is being funky, so if you're emailing me there, stop. ^O^)

wheee!!! i experienced an earthquake today! ^_^ it was quite thrilling (largely due the fact that i'm in vancouver and the earthquake was centered much further south in seattle. ^_^)
i was studiously taking notes when i noticed my desk vibrating... i didn't think anything of it at first because i just assumed that the guy sitting behind me was kicking my chair or something... but then things *really* started shaking and the girl sitting next to me screamed and tried to duck under her desk. this was unfortunate, because we don't have desks... we have those chairs with the little table-y bit that attaches to the right arm... ^O^
but that was it, and our guest lecturer resumed his speech on Canada's involvement in the Korean War just a scant 2 minutes later. although he /did/ say: "well, if these are your last few minutes of life, i'm sorry they have to be spent listening to me talk about the Korean War."

and on an entirely different note... i had an impure thought while i was at the planetarium today. ^_^ the BBS crowd will be hearing about it shortly.... ^O^

for unknown reasons, my pics aren't showing up.. what you have to do is:
1) load the page
2) click the 'back' button
3) click the 'forward' button
and then for some reason, the pictures load... this is all very bizarre... O_o;;

so... once you see the pics, i think i neglected to mention where the lyrics come from.. ^_^;; the words on this layout come from the song 'China White' by Wang Lee Hom (from the China Strike Force soundtrack).
and for those who will bristle at my casual use of the term, yes i *do* know what "china white" is, and no i'm not endorsing it, i just like the song...

Topic Two: Kodomo no Omocha
my god this is *such* a cute anime!!!! it's so funny too!!! ^O^
It's about an 11 year old child star, Kurata Sana. She's totally ditzy, and way too hyper... ^O^ but Sana-chan is sooo cute!!! and then there's her mother, who has a squirrel living on her head (in her hair-do)... and Sana-chan's manager, Rei (i'll discuss him later), and lastly, Sana-chan's classmate, Hayama Akito. a trouble-making, loner boy... heehee... you know, Akito reminds me of Heero from Gundam Wing... complete with green tank top! ^O^ and if he weren't 11 years old, i'd say he was hot... ^O^
