my econ professor told us the funniest story today! he went all off on a tangent on Russell Crowe!! ^O^
my prof's australian (Russell Crowe is from new zealand, though) and he (my prof) said that the most popular russell crowe film in australia is a video of him kicking some guy's head in during a pub brawl just outside of Sydney... ^O^
and then he went on to say that russell crowe's best film is Romper Stomper cuz it shows the true russell crowe (a man who kicks someone's head in during brawl).
and /then/ he went on and on about how in australia, people "hello" in greeting, but the second an australian is in a new land, they suddenly say "g'day"!! ^O^

and then he went back to strategic trade policy. o.ov

so, i'll end here with russell crowe's great comment: "God bless America, God save England, God defend New Zealand, and Thank Christ for Australia!"

okay... funny stuff to happen today:

1) so minmin and i are watching Hana Yori Dango, and we start discussing why all these guys seem to fall in love with the main character, Makino Tsukushi.
M: so, like, why are they so attracted to her?
S: yah, she's pretty average, i guess...
M: exactly! what's so special about her?
S: well... she's very determined...
M: so she's strong (willed), so what? that just makes her rude!
S: ^O^
*and i couldn't stop laughing for a full 10 minutes... ^O^*

2) TV Commercial for some nut/snack product
no, you hentai, i'm not going to go there!
*guy chewing.. and /eating/ a pencil*
Yah pencils are crunchy
*guy continues eating, and suddenly swallows really audibly*
But then you choke and die

^O^ i was laughing so hard at the tag line that i didn't even pay attention to the product!! ^O^ i couldn't get over that for, like, another 10 minutes!!!

man, i was soooo hyper tonight... er... last night (cuz it's 6am... ^O^;; i couldn't sleep....)

but not as addictive as... dun dun duuuuuuun... aaron kwok... cuz i love him, y'know... *nods*

like the new layout? that car there *points to the left* is Mazda's brand spankin' new RX-8. i got the pic from a link off the MSN homepage. editted it with photo deluxe, and changed the colour to yellow (the car was red originally) cuz KEIPI IS THE SUN!!! XD

so... what to blog about? 2 things.

1) A Lesson in Image Theft

this person stole images from someone's page. not just that, though, they linked the images... in that they didn't even upload the images to their own server; they used the original owner's URL for the image source! Upon discovery of this, the owner put up some... interesting... images in place of the ones the person wanted to steal... ^O^
i find this hilarious... and a good lesson to learn. unless... of course you like those images.... O_o;;
