today i saw the prettiest boys in the prettiest car!!! two chinese boys in a silver honda s2000 with the top down. they were behind me and when i caught a glimpse of them in my rearview mirror i nearly died~~~ *_* (literally too! the car in front of me had stopped for random (read: no) reason, but it was all good.) then we were at a stop light and i got to ogle lots. ^_________^ yay!
oo... sorry did not blog about road trippie... will this weekend, promise!

i saw the Queen!!! (okay, i caught a glimpse of her as i walked to my car)
she was on campus today... part of her Golden Jubilee Tour. ^_^
there were little mini modules of "entertainment from around the world," ie. chinese dancers, jazz/modern/funk dancers, balinese orchestra (i didn't know we had one of those), and.... CHIBI TAIKO!!!! omg!! they're SO cute!!!!
*ahem* anyway, the queen seemed very nice. she walked around and accepted flowers from people. she was very good about not missing anyone. she even stopped to chat with some of the girl guides (honour guard. ^O^) how cool would that be? to have talked to the Queen of England when you're 12... ^O^
anyway, passing conversation after class:
A: so... are you guys going to see the Queen?
J: Queen? What Queen?
S: "Our" Queen...
J: Oh, HER. the living symbol of a century of colonialism, oppression, and racism. yah, i might at that.

so nicholas is in jail for 2 weeks awaiting sentencing... he was convicted for obstructing justice. ^^;;; poor baby. and no one seems to be supporting him~ all the vancouver chinese peeps are like: "yah, he deserves it. i hope he gets sentenced for one year." ^^;;;
