[added] I have decided to take the following week off. I will avoid the computer at much as possible in order to finish my summer reading. There will be no updates for the next week because I'm determined to discipline myself. So, just for next week, I will not be updating this site. ^_^ If I happen to update, yell at me and me to go read. XD (seriously...) [/added]
Was watching Oprah today with one of the residents at Villa Siena along with ollau and Rocketboy079. ^_^ She went to Costco and was dying in front of all of the potato chip bags. It was very funny. XD
We're almost done with this super hard jigsaw puzzle. >.< The puzzle's mainly blue so my eyes are kinda hurting right now. Eeek! I finished the majority of the whales though. I'm so happy. ^^
Cleared out my links list. Too many dead sites that were left forgotten or just dead. XD
Short entry at the moment because I'm blanking out. Zzzzz! Nighty night.

Thursday, July 29, 2004XDD I just stumbled upon a Vegeta shrine while looking for some nice Amiboshi pics. ^^; The owner of the Amiboshi/Suboshi gallery owns the Vegeta shrine and there was a lot of stuff about Vegeta in her guestbook, so I decided to check it out. I really like the above quote so yea. Heehee...I can just picture him yelling at Bulma. XD
The Amiboshi fanlisting's going to take a while. >.< Cuz I just realized that I really should be marking what I'm reading in this poetry book for English. XD So, I'll have to fix that again. Then, it seems that I used all of my creativity on this layout, here because when I was trying to make an Amiboshi layout it looked like crap. X.X So we'll see what happens....but please join when I do get it up and running! ::pleads::
Something happened to his site. It's gone. He said bye bye. T_T I don't understand. What happened? ::sniff::
Added braidedidiot to my exchanged links list. ^_^ She's a HUGE Gackt fan. (actually, that's even an understatement...heehee...)
Want some shounen-ai manga that you can download quickly and free that aren't hundreds of volumes long? Go HERE. Great site! >^.^<
I fixed the images on the right. ^___^ I guess I accidentally switched off antialias on my PSP. >.<

Monday, July 26, 2004[added] Yea...new layout! ^_^ I decided I couldn't wait to put it up. I won't have time to put it up during the week anyway. (Busy reading summer reading books >.< and working at Villa Siena) It's different, the layout, ya? I don't normally do real people, but I liked the picture so much, I could resist. XD I can't remember exactly who is it, but I know that he's from Dir en Grey. I know that the pics on the right side are a bit fuzzy and weird looking, I'll fix that later. >.< Took to much time uploading all this. I think I went overboard on the brushes just a bit. XD I also used a motion blur.
That reminds me...if you look at the top, you'll notice I don't have a title for this layout. I ran out of ideas. >.< Cuz lately the title of the layouts have been Ayumi Hamasaki songs (which I'll continue in September... the Ayu "series"). If you have any suggestions for the title of this layout, please comment. ^_^ Any help is appreciated. ^^ [/added]
I have done it! It took me three friggin weeks, but I have done it! I have finally finished Regeneration by Pat Barker!!! YESS!!!! YESS!! Now I just have to read three more books within less than three weeks. ::dies::
I was re-reading my Fushigi Yuugi volumes and I think I've found another character to add to my lists of faves. ^_^ Amiboshi!!!! ::glomps:: I really want to make a fanlisting for this guy, I really do. And maybed a fanlisting for the relationship between Miaka and Amiboshi. (Even though Miaka annoys the heck out of me. Always leaving poor Tamahome and believing in all of the little sutpid legends about making a relationship last forever. Such an idiot. XD) I checked at thefanlistings.org and the only fl they have for Amiboshi doesn't even work anymore. Muwahaha! It'll be my new little project... ^^
Attention all shoppers at VasityBooks:: Buy all of your books at Borders and Barns and Noble! Their new books are cheaper than the used books, for heavens sake!
Expect a new layout put up sometime around this week.

Saturday, July 24, 2004::dancing:: No more summer school!! I can sleep in from now on! Well, until August 19th since that's when real school starts. >.< Today was fun though. Since nobody did the homework for the SAT class, we just pretty much fooled around. XD The guys made some weird story up using the vocab SAT words to insult two particular guys. The stories weren't even that funny and yet they were laughing up a storm. ::shrugs:: During the first five minute break, the seniors and I went next door (an empty room) and watched a bit of Just Married! Such a funny movie (though I only saw 30 minutes all together XD) but it's a bit cheesy at one part (when they first meet...). We were sitting around the projector, eating chocolate chip cookies. YUM! ^^ Then, at the end of SAT class we watched Family Guy. So funny! Nothing to do with anything at all. XDD He let us out an hour early too. I had an hour and half lunch today. I walked with Angie to Froyo for a smoothie and then we chilled in Whytoshek's classroom, waiting for Spanish class to start. I could smell the pizza from the faculty lounge from down the hall. >.< They had like 10 boxes.
Started working at Villa Siena this week on Tuesday. It's fun. They're so nice over there. Can't help but smile all the time. XD I played Scrabble with this one guy yesterday and he totally crushed me while at the same time helping me learn how to play the game. It sort of reminds me of chess where it uses a bunch of creativity and logic. ICK!
Yesterday I was drawing a bunch. I don't know why, but since I haven't drawn in such a long time, I thought I should share my drawings to the public after my artist's block. Beware, they're not Leonardo Da Vinci work nor Rumiko Takahashi. XD I drew them in blue pen by the way, and they were scanned in black and white.::
Girl w/ sword
Fish Girl ~ I did not write the dialogue about fish XD
SAT girl ~ drew it in SAT class
Spanish girl ~ started during lunch, finished during present perfect subjunctive in Spanish XD
Had fun talking to Zenneth or Grant last night or this morning (for him). XD Very interesting coversations. Which reminds me, I added him to my exchanged link list. ^^
Almost done with Regeneration by Pat Barker, only 30 pages to go!! It's taking me three friggin' weeks to finish this book. It's pathetic. Then again, I have been busy with summer school homework! Still, no excuse. T_T
I bought the Cliffnotes for A Tale of Two Cities the other day with my dad. XD He freaked out. He hates the idea of me needing to "cheat" by getting Cliffnotes, though the point of Cliffnotes is to help better understand the reading WHILE reading the book. ::shakes head in dismay::
Poor ollau has the stomach flu and Angie has a summer cold. ::sniff:: Pobres chicas! (probably not correct grammar but oh well! XD) Praying for all of you guys, and KP. Oh, and Josh's b-ball coach. Hard times...
I posted this on my lj a few days ago, but I thought I should post it here as well::
No one can prevent accidents. They happen through the flow of actions and time. Reflexes are what we rely on during any accident though reflexes are not very reliable on their own. Accidents happen all around us, small or large: crushing an ant, or driving the car into a tree. Happening every moment of our life, accidents can be seen from behind, in front, to the left, to the right, above, and below. They can happen miles away, only witnessed on the television. Accidents are an adventure. The outcome may not be glorious, but still an adventure. As Bilbo Baggins once said, *stepping our your front door is an adventure in itself*. Not matter what we do, accidents are accidents. Accidents are fate. With this in mind, coming home from my first day of service hours at Villa Sienna, my dad and I spot a plant in a bag sitting in the middle of our lane on 237. Of course, he slows down and slowly drifts towards the other lane. I do not know why I looked in the mirror, but for some odd reason I guess I wanted to look at that plant once more. Instead of seeing a plant, I see a red car swerve dangerously to the right, to the left, and to the right again. Finally driving through dried weeds on the side of the road, tumbling across a highway exit and landing right side up on the other side of the freeway, facing the opposite direction. Two cars following the red car, slow down and pull over, hopefully in aid for I had lost sight of the scene around the next turn. I can still see those startling few seconds replaying over and over in my mind. That could have been us. We could have been right behind the car. We could have been the car right next to it. I could have been the passenger. I could have been the driver. These questions flew through my mind in a rush, a blurry rush. One of the most scary moments of my life I might say. There was only one instance that I have been just as close. I'm hoping the driver must be all right. The road was clear, and the car landed upright. But, I feel so shaken. Watching my rear view mirror in horror, as one driver panics to correct their mistake. Needless to say, I'm not too much in a rush to get my permit (though I never really was in the first place). And a small thought. It may seem difficult when put into action, but when you see something in the middle of road suddenly and swerve to avoid it. SLOW DOWN. Don't brake suddenly, don't make a hard left or right. Slow down while merging to another lane. And please don't let yourself be distracted while on the road. Accidents can be avoided by paying as much attention to the road as you do when listening intently to your best friend or your favorite song.

Friday, July 16, 2004[added] I posted Chapter 2 for Lingering Hopes on FictionPress.com and for those of you who for some reason can't go to FictionPress, I also have it posted on my ficblog. Please read and review. ^_^ [/added]
Yeah, I sorta already stated that in my livejournal but I still think it's really funny. Along with hee-more hagging also known as hemmorhagging (sp?) which ollau pronounced so hilariously last week. XDD
Yesterday, when my mom was driving me home from my make-up guitar lesson, we were waiting at a stop light next to McDonald's. And there is this guy that I remember when I was like 7 who still works there. He was really old back then too. I think he's retired though, cuz yea, REALLY REALLY old. XD I think it's nice that he's able to get a job that doesn't need him to rush and gives him something to do rather than play with his cats or something. XD I thought it was interesting...
Borrowed this joke from Azarel::
"Daddy, why is my name Rose?"
"Because a rose petal fell on your head when you were born."
"Daddy, why is my name Lily?"
Because a lily petal(?) fell on yourhead when you were born."
"234@#$%#@%@#^$#^^$&^&*^("
"Shut up Cinderblock!"
So mean and bad, but so funny!! ^_^
Added Cleo as an exchanged link. Yay!
I think just for now, I'm going to do my weekend updates and summaries on my pitas blog and just random comments on my livejournal. This is just temporarily, since my livejournal updates faster than my pitas and I'm sorta pressed for time at the moment. >.<
I'll probably join more fanlistings later. ^^;

Friday, July 9, 2004So yea, this week has been quite interesting. It wasn't anything that I expected it to be. For one thing, we have homework. T_T Last year, my SAT II teacher and just my spanish class didn't have any homework. And I just want to say that they are certainly piling on the homework too. For a summer school class that doesn't count anything but to prepare us for whatever, no grades whatsoever, they really are piling on the homework. T_T I can't even hangout on the computer for more than a half an hour to an hour. ::sniff::
Another thing, I was planning on trying to finish Regeneration this week, but too much homework. I only made it to page 50!! T_T
My SAT I teacher is another story. He's one very interesting character. XD ollau would know what I'm talking about, but for those of you who are not ollau (XDD) he's sort of comical in a way, when he tries to be funny and when it's by accident. He also does math in his head really fast, it's almost like he's not human. >.<
I don't think I'm really learning that much in the class though. Most of the time I'm drawing in the SAT books and then I just started recently writing my fics in class. XDD Well, ollau's best friend is revising his stories in class, why can't a I write my stories? XDDDD
Spanish is about the same from last year, except most of the people who took the class last year didn't take the one this year. Of course, last year I took the first semester class over the second semester class. I'm happy that Angie and ollau are there though. Makes it so much funner. XDD Yes, I know, I said funner. I rarely get to use bad grammar during the day, might as well, use it in my blog. XDDDD There's this one guy in Spanish class who was asking the weirdest, most confusing question the other day though. We spent almost 15 minutes trying to sort him out. Something about why can't vague this and that be plurally vague this and that's.... XDD Like I said, confusing.... @_@
I think I'm going to start posting on the weekends until summer school is over since I rarely have any time to use the net. Though by the end of this month, my internet trial will be over. Don't worry though, I have plan...muwahahaha!!!
I just finished reading volume one of xxxHOLIC and now I really really really want to read or own Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle volume 1. ::weeps:: Will someone get it for my birthday please? I'd love you so much. XDDDD

Monday, July 5, 2004Boy! For some reason I am exhausted. I didn't do that much but I just dozed off on the couch. >.< That was my last intention as today is the last night before summer school beings. Waah! Tomorrow also marks the day that I must start reading my summer reading books. Oh joy! (she said with much sarcasm. XD)
I updated both my fanfiction.net and my fictionpress.com profiles as well as added two new chapters. ^^ One new chapter to Sailor Earth: Earth's Original Senshi (a Sailor Moon fan fic XD): Chapter 15 - Her Return. The other chapter was added to Lingering Hopes which after a year now has a chapter to follow the prologue XDD: Chapter 1 - The Girl. Please read and review. ^^
Went to go see Spider-man 2 with Miho fan-tasista, Misai, her brother, and my dad. ^^ This was planned last minute too. XD It was a pretty good experiance(sp?), but my dad had to sit separate from us becaue Misai's brother didn't have the patience to save one seat next to him for my dad. Grr...XD We had to sit in the front part of the theater which wasn't that bad. The movie itself was awesome though. I love Tobey Maguire. He was terrific in Seabiscuit. And I swear, there's going to be a third movie, you just watch. Well, I'm hoping that there will be a third one. I'm thinking they should combine villains though, like the Batman movies with Michael Keaton. They had Catwoman w/ Penguin and...um...that's all I remember right now. My dad said the one with Robin and Arnold (our governator XD) was really boring, which kind of makes me sad. I thought it was really good. XD Then again I was like in the 3rd grade. >.<
Miho fan-tasista and I were having so much fun. We were like talking during the movie though. XD "Oh my, my octopus sense is tingling!" XDD And Kirsten Dunce reminded him of Ayu for some reason. Haha! We really should see more movies together more often. So much fun. ^_^ Although, I think you should refrain from trying to predict what happens next in the movie out loud. ^^;
Afterwards, we all went to the mall for shopping. Misai basically was the one who wanted to go shopping in the first place. ^^ I'm glad she had fun. ^_^ I got to have half of one of those strawberry fraps that aren't actually coffee. Misai's brother didn't want the rest so I took it. I really really hope there aren't diseases that I have to worry about. XD Uh oh, Misai... I think that high blood pressure is kicking in.... X_X Hahahaha!
I bought or actually my dad bought me xxxHOLIC, however you pronounce it, which I just realized has a crossover from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle which I want sooooo badly. Kuaki, I must meet up with you soon so that I can borrow it from you sister.... ^^
I spoke with Wusai last night, or should I say this morning. XD She's in China right now. O_O But if you are a fan of Codename: Kids Next Door then you should visit her pitas site and her live journal because both are KND themed. ::drool:: So I highly suggest that you ::coughOLLAUcough:: should go see. GO SEE!! ^_^
That reminds me, I guess my live journal is up and running now. I'm not happy for the background just yet though. Still need to figure some things out, but other than that, it looks a lot better than it did a month ago. XDD (no entry or anything, just pink fonts...XD) I'm thinking about following Wusai's lead and making this site match my LJ later on just cuz I'm on a KH fetish at the moment. ::glomps Sora:: ^^;;

Saturday, July 3, 2004That was the most interesting nine days in my life! Starting with the day I left, Thursday, all the way through the next Friday, the day I got back.
Wednesday:: I was supposed to wake up early, never did. XD I immediately went on the internet and started downloading Midori no Hibi chapters from SnoopyCool.com while reading SinFest comics at the same time. I also put up this new layout. XDD Then I left my house around 8:00 pm and headed for the San Jose Airport. Our flight wasn't until 10:00 pm. Apparently my dad signed up for the "red-eye" flight. =_= The flight was approximately 6 hours long. >.< But I got to watch Win a Date With Tad Hamilton so it was cool. ^^
Thursday:: Hmm...what did I do on Thursday... oh yea! XDD We tried to figure out where our hotel was and got lost in our rental car. XDD So I fell asleep in the car and the next thing I know, we're at the hotel and it's been at least two hours since we left the airport. XDD Let's just say that the Comfort Inn isn't very COMFORTable. ^^; So yea...we washed up and everything. Spent several hours searching for a restaurant that was supposed to be nearby. XDD Then my dad got the car and my mom and I just went to go ask the clerk at the hotel, he told us exactly where it was. We drove there anyway. XDD It was a 30 second drive. >.< Afterwards, we went to a Luau(sp?) at my Auntie Alexis' house after meeting up with several people at the DoubleTree Hotel (which is an awesome place...they have foutains and just awesome stuff inside...XD) to get the directions and stuff. Going to the house took about two hours. X.X The luau(sp?) was cool though, didn't really talk to a lot of people. Usually takes me a day or two to start talking. XD One of my cousins, JR, started playing the piano (luckily my parents and my paupau(i don't know how to spell it >.<) [chinese grandma] were outside). Then Darius, another cousin, started to play. He's pretty good. ^_^ Then I noticed that my parents and my paupau walk in and right in the middle of him playing the piano, my grandma walks over. She taps him on the shoulder and interrupts him. Then says something about after he's done let my granddaughter play because she's been playing since she was five. Then she points to ME. Darius was like, oh that's your her. I was so humiliated!! >.< It was horrible. I played a little of the Moonlight Sonata which I always play when I'm forced to play something on the piano. So of course I've mastered that piece, little chance of mistakes and then that new song that ollau let me borrow from her by Bach's son which I play too fast. XD Then I ran away. ^^; Later my cousins invited me to go downstairs to the basement with them to watch some movies in their home theater system. It's just this one room with speakers all around and a movie projector hanging from the ceiling, you know, like the ones at SF. Totally awesome. ::drool:: I want one. When we headed home or back to the hotel/inn around 11 it took us about two hours to get back and even more because we got lost again. I fell asleep of course. XDDDD
Friday:: Woke up extra early today, and we met with others at the DoubleTree Hotel where we walked to the metro from there. Then we went to Union Station and toured around D.C. which was pretty awesome, though my paupau held us up because she walks so damn slow. GRR!! We also got to see the changing of the guard at the Arlington Cemetary which afterwards we got to see them change the wreath that was haning in front of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers. ^_^ Downside: We didn't get to see Kenedy's eteranl flame because my paupau was tired and complaining. (see paragraph about my paupau) So since she was tired, we had to leave, the only way back was to get back on another tourmobile and ride that all the way back to the Union Station. While we were on that bus it started to rain really realy hard. ^_^ So we didn't get soaked. Muwahahha!!! ^_^ After that, we had to ride the metro all the way back to DoubleTree and then drive all the way back to our hotel. Grr. We only had about half and hour until the dinner/dance at the DoubleTree to get dressed at washed up. We arrived at the DoubleTree of course half an hour late. >.< They hadn't even started eating though. XDDD We got our food and I don't think I've ever eaten so much in my life. Of course, I hadn't eaten all day so no wonder. ^^; Then we had loud music where the children danced including select older relatives. XD My cousins' parents danced, making them very humiliated. Lucky for me, my parents don't ever dance. Never. XD d^^b My cousins and I danced a little, took so many pics that my cheeks hurt so much and then left around 11 for the hotel to sleep.
Saturday:: Slept in today and drove towards this club house with a pool. My cousins (Mary, Philip, Darius, JR, Aileen, Lea, Ed, & Marygrace) and I went swimming. Apparently they all forgot their towels. XD So they had to use Luzod Family Reunion t-shirts to dry themselves. XDDD But then they spotted a couple of towels hanging to dry on the balcony (they looked like they were stolen from the hotel though). So Marygrace went up and "borrowed" 'em. XD Afterwards they put 'em back though. I wonder if the other cousins that had left for lunch before we did noticed that their towels weren't dry yet. XDD Afterwards, we drove over towards City Lights Buffet. My parents went to Charles Town where they went gambling so I hung out with my cousins at the DoubleTree hotel and soon after at Mary's/Auntie Alexis' house. ^^ We rented movies and watched Monster which is a really sad movie. ::snif::
Sunday:: We didn't do much today. The reunion was supposed to last 'til Sunday, but too many relatives ended up leaving so no Farewell dinner. ::sniff:: We went to go see some relatives of paupau which was a complete waste of time because they "weren't home" or just didn't want to see us whatever. We could've gone to Georgetown and visited the college. My paupau didn't even remember that we tried to see 'em. GRR! Afterwards we went to see the new World War II Memorial which was awesome. Then we went to go see the Washington National Cathedral. We attended mass there and witnessed an Organ Recital. ^_^
Monday:: We drove towards New York. ^_^ All we did was see the Empire State Building today. XDD When did they start charging for the elvator ride?
Tuesday:: My dad walked with my paupau to the Empire State Building while my mom and I walked to the Rockefeller center where we visited the NBC studios. ^.^ After that we walked over to Times Square where we saw that cowboy dude who wears a white cowboy hat, briefs and a guitar. ^_^ Then we walked to Madison Square Garden and finally made it back to the Ramada. ^^ During all this, my dad and paupau only saw the Empire State Building and Central Park. XD Oh yea, we also saw St. Patrick's church or whatever it's called. Very cool. Then all together we drove to where the Twin Towers used to be. My dad got a ticket for parking which was a bummer, if only we had walked a little faster, but my paupau walks really really really really really really really really slow. We tried to get a ferry to the Statue of Liberty but we were too late. Instead I got one of those painted things with your name on it using pictures and stuff. XD It's really pretty and really big. Had to carry it on the plane. =_= On this day, my dad, mom, and I went to dinner around 9:00 pm and went dinner searching. Everything was closed or too expensive so we ended up eating at a McDonalds. How devastating is that. ::sniff::
Wednesday:: My mom and I just went to Liberty Island and then we drove back to Maryland and Washington D.C. where we stayed at the Hilton. ^_^
Thursday:: We went back to D.C. and visited the Holocaust Museum and end our day visiting a couple of colleges including George Washington University.
Friday:: Arrived at the Reagan Washington Airport around 3 am. =_=;;; It was horrible. They don't open the stupid counters to check in luggage until 4:30 am. ::sobs:: Our flight was around 6:00 am. We had the first flight and everything was closed. It was horrible. XDDD They didn't serve food either. But I got to see Hidalgo on the plane. ^_^ Then we got lost at the San Jose Airport. XDDDDD The signs aren't clear enough where the baggage claim area is. >.< Then around 10:50 am Miho fan-tasista called me on my cell and we talked all the way until I got home where I called him back and he called me on my house phone. Then we went to go eat lunch at the Hometown Buffet, where afterwards I fell asleep on the couch around 2 pm and didn't wake up until 4:50 am. ^^;;
Paupau:: aka chinese grandma from my dad's side. She drove my mom and I crazy on this vacation. Next time I'm going to strangle my dad if he invites her on a supposedly vacation for just the three of us. She threw my mom's toothbrush away!!! And it wasn't for a sane reason either. ARGH!!! She's really loud too. Really really really loud!! Very touchy, as in she grabs and rubs my arms and stuff... ::shivers:: Why can't she just ask me if I'm cold instead of feeling my arm?! ::sigh:: Sorry for complaining about my paupau here, but I need somewhere to let it go. I've been holding it in for 10 days!! If I were to continue complaining it'd make this entry too long. So here is the end. ^_^
