Intro: So the past week has been a blur, but a most wonderful blur. ♥ Senior Ball 2006. Finals. Painting the Baccalaureate Mass banner. Senior picnic. Final Final. Wendy's birthday. Graduation rehearsal and Nikon's lunch. Graduation and Grad night. Fanime. X-Men 3.
Senior Ball 2006: Saturday, May 20th, 2006. I slept in a bit because I had a hair and nail appointment at 2:30pm. We tried to figure out to do the hair ourselves, but when my mom and I went to Long's and entered the aisle for all of the hair gel and spray, we were so overwhelmed with all of the different types that we basically gave up. XD Off to the hair place we go...::skips:: I snagged a picture that ollau took of the hairstyle that I wanted and went off to fulfill my appointment. I really liked what they did my nails last time, so I decided to add that on as well. So they attacked my nails first and halfway through, the lady to do my hair came by with a cart and started attacking my hair. XD It was so cool. However, in the end, because I couldn't look at a mirror until the end, the hair turned out a lot bigger than I thought and the I wasn't paying attention to what the lady was doing to my nails. She used some weird new plastic shiny stuff that refuses to come off and easily cracks. It cracks and then peels off into pieces. That's not even normal!!! >.< Never getting my nails done again! Never...
The people who went made prom as awesome as it was. Around 5:15pm, approximately 30 raving teenagers filled with excitement dressed in formal wear filled ollau's living room and kitchen, most holding flowers of some sort. Most of them brought cameras and parents multiplying the excitement by 2. I actually arrived at ollau's around 4:30 because I wanted her to help me with makeup, but she was busy so Ashleigh came over to help instead. =) My eyes looked so pretty despite our difficulties with the eyeliner (curse the sharpener). KP arrived a little after me, bringing Ashleigh, Lawrence, and Nikon. (Although Nikon actually drove...) Everyone else arrive and only three actually decorated their cars for the caravan to prom. Since I didn't officially have a date, KP put my corsage on for me. Haha. I was her other date. ^.~ Surprisingly, Nikon was the only guy who didn't tuck in his shirt. ::gasp:: Javier arrived dashingly with his hat and chain. ::swoons:: And all the girls were gorgeous, especially Stephy mainly because her straightened hair was very unexpected. We left a little later than desired, but whatever. My driver, Katie, had to pullover to wait for her mom to drop off extra clothes for Caitlin and all of our "friends" drove by giving us offensive looks and only a complete stranger actually pulls over to see if we need help because Katie waved at him accidentally thinking he was her mom. Hahahaha. Oops.
The execution of prom itself was disappointing because the hotel wouldn't open the doors to the dining hall until 8pm! ::angry face:: We were standing in the hall for 45 minutes with nothing to do but eat "moldy" cheese and crackers. A complete waste of time. And then it took us an hour and half to eat. WTF?! We only had two hours to dance. It made me sad...because I really only wanted to dance. I'll get my own dinner. Just let the dancing alone. ^^;; But the prom itself actually was better than Junior Prom, don't ask me how that turned out, but I liked it better. Haha. The music was crap; I'm not going to lie to you, but yeah...total and complete crap, at least in my opinion. No one had mine, KP's, or ollau's dresses so we were happy. Haha. KP, ollau, and I took pictures together to contrast with our studio pics from frosh year and then I took a random group pic with Luffy and company. It was a cute picture though. The songs of the night were "Hips Don't Lie", "Toxic" (haha), "Get Low" (because it brought back memories from Michelle's cotillion), "Them Bells is Scurred", "Dragosta Din Tei", and "My Humps" (as a closing song).
After prom, we rushed off to the bowling alley, since it closes at 1am. Katie didn't know where it was so we thought we were going to follow either BLam or Eric (but neither stuck around for us because they didn't know what our car looked like haha) and we ended up following Jen who was following Lukas who was following Becky and Matt. Haha. ollau and I thought that the prices were kind of expensive so we split a game and ended up playing separately anyway because msmoocow somehow ended up signing up for two different groups. Therefore, I was ollau and ollau was msmoocow. We still ended up sharing shoes though. Lawrence was practically the best person at bowling while Serra, Maniac, Luffy, and Dolt practically kicked our butts. ^^;; They're all-stars...really. A few of us actually went bowling in our dresses while the everyone else brought a change of clothes. Fine then...=P KP somehow managed to toss a bowling ball hard enough to bounce over the bumper and land in the gutter. XDDD Lawrence and I rush off to find someone to go and get (so we don't get in trouble), but when we finally find someone, Maniac is already taking a picture Serra balancing between both lanes grabbing the ball. Hahahaha. Hilarious. I love my friends. And then the bowling people yell at us. >.< But they were nice overall and didn't kick us out until we finished our game, which was not until 1:30am.
We headed over to Denny's (what was left of us, which was still a rather large group) and filled up about half of Denny's from our prom alone. Apparently, there were a lot of other school's having their proms on May 20th. Most didn't really order anything, and then there were the special few who ordered chili fries, or milkshakes, or if you're cool like Lawrence, Alice, and me or like Jaymee, you ordered a breakfast meal at 1:30 in the morning. XD Alice, Lawrence, and I split the cheapest meal, which was pancakes. It was actually pretty good because we ordered the apple cinnamon ones with bacon and scrambled eggs. Jaymee bought a soda(?) and a breakfast bowl. o.O;; KP and I made the rounds of taking pictures of whoever was left while the new guy, John threw random pick up lines at her. XD At the end, we convince Nikon to join Natasha's sleepover, so we dropped Lawrence off and hung out. Picture this: 7 girls & Nikon. XD Such a pimp. ::shakes head:: Just kidding. He's Mr. Perfect...watching movies with us all night and the only one who actually didn't fall asleep. We watched Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights while Natasha narrated and some weird French movie about a Spanish Apartment. ^^; I was awake until the French movie, because reading English subtitles at that hour just makes me sleepy. At least I tried to sleep while Natasha cats seemingly "attacked" KP. Haha.
Everyone slowly went home, and I didn't get home until 11am. I accomplished to get glitter EVERYWHERE because of my dress. Woohoo! And I enjoyed seeing people such as Annie and Azarel at our prom. It created warm fuzzy feelings. ^_^
3 Finals: English & Physics (Monday, May 22nd, 2006) and Spanish (Tuesday, May 23rd). On Sunday, I tried to finish reading White Teeth but ended up getting a synopsis from ollau who kindly helped me study for the entire final out of the goodness of her heart. ::glomps:: I kept falling asleep...that's why! I got to school early, gave Dolt his Pirates CD, finally. Sorry about the delay dude. I'm just crazy lazy. @.@ And then I headed over to the library to study for English and Physics. IKZ tells us not to study for the final...WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?! (followed by many other expletives and an attempt to burn down his classroom; just kidding) That was a crazy hard final. Argh... The English final was alright...it would have helped if there was a clock in the gym so I could pace myself and also if we just didn't take it in the gym. The entire time I was listening to the steel drums class and the girls P.E. glasses screaming and squealing in the locker room. Very distracting. Afterwards, Lawrence and I just basically hung out before going home to not study for the next final. The heck....senora just copied and pasted the written section of the AP test this year and made it the final. =.= Can you say "lazy"? Haha. And I was even more lazy to actually write an adequate response because I totally wasn't expecting that....oops.
Baccalaureate Mass banner: Tuesday, May 23rd and Wednesday, May 24th. ollau got awesomely chosen to design and make the banner for the b mass on Friday. Then she asked me, KP, and Kaydaaar to help paint, which leads to me asking Jaymee, Lawrence, and Nikon to help as well to double as hanging out. All in all, after two days, which technically adds up to one of hard labor, ollau and Kaydaaar ended up really painting it. XD Although I painted "Likewise" very well, I might say. So that was cool. KP did a wonderful job on the "G" in "Go" as well. So props! Haha. We had a lovely little picnic on the 100-building porch before we actually started painting. KP, Jaymee, and I bought spinach dip and bread while others bought actual lunch foods. XD Oh! We all shared a bottle of apple cider and pretended to be drinking wine or something.
Senior Picnic & Final Final: Wednesday, May 24th. The picnic was pretty good. It was basically listening to a bunch of rap while eating food and signing everyone else's yearbook. XD We had a false scare where Natasha's camera almost died, but Alvin's awesome so we're good. I lost my new black sharpie because of those sharpie swipers. Darn them. Afterwards, KP, Nikon, Stephy, Ponce, Lawrence, and I walked over to the park and hung out (kind of like a triple date ::wink::). It was fun. Except Lawrence almost stole my camera. Haha. Then, since my mom had a doctor's appointment and my dad works late, I just hung around after that with Jaymee and planned to go to Final Final (which is kind of like a concert put on by the students just for the seniors mainly). Jaymee and I went to get some fraps and ate some yummy Italian food before crawling back to school with our stuffed stomachs. We met up with KP and walked over to the gym and snagged a couch to sit on. We ran into the guys later. I let KP and Nikon have the couch and Lawrence and I just enjoyed the floor. Better pictures anyway. =P Bryn and Alex did a hilarious medley that might have been pulled from SNL and it's quite interesting to realize how many songs that I do recognize. Jillian did a number and I didn't know that certain people sing very well and can play the guitar. It was pretty awesome and made me sad that I never actually went to Night of Acoustics. T.T The night ended with some ska(?) which involved some very violent dancing but looked like fun. Haha.
Wendy's Birthday Lunch @ Max's: Thursday, May 25th, 2006. My dad took ollau and I to the restaurant for Wendy's birthday in his truck. ollau was certainly excited. XD The lunch was pretty good. I've never seen ollau eat so much in two days. She finished both KP and my cheeseburger at the senior picnic, ate Lawrence's fries (at Wendy's party) and almost attacked the second half of her humongo sandwich before deciding to eat a cheesecake for dessert instead. It was quite amusing. ^_^ And I think I confused the waiter by switching seats three times. Oops.
Graduation Rehearsal & Baccalaureate Mass: Friday, May 26th, 2006. Woke up extra early on Friday so that ollau could take me to graduation practice. It was quite interesting to witness our alphabetizing skills in action. XD They butchered my name so I had to correct them and I even added the Filipino pronunciation to make my mom happy. Mr. See tells me that I did so well on the English final that I now have an A- in his class. Extra happy! =) And then tells me to find him afterward so he can give me something. The actual music almost makes me cry and Gundamaniac gives me my costume for Renge and Wong gives me back my government binder too. So, I left the practice with more things than I actually brought. >.< I made Lawrence carry my stuff. XDDD;; Afterward, we searched for Mr. See and when we finally found him in the parking lot, he tells me that the present hasn't been wrapped yet and to find him tomorrow. =.= I went through all of that trouble looking for him and he tells me to look for him the next day?! Argh. Oh well. We hung out a little before going over to Nikon's house. His dad wanted to take us out to lunch for graduation. Nikon and BLam thought one of our studio pics wasn't actually of us. =.=;; And tons of people asked me about the costume because I was carrying it around in a Macy's garment bag. Lunch was fun because it was yummy. Nikon's dad is really nice too. Really nice. Baccalaureate mass was like a normal mass except with a slideshow at the end, tons of pictures of all the same people. Jillian and Christina graced us with their voice talents and Father Eric is just plain cool. Haha. The reception was held outside though and it was freezing. Lawrence, my uncle, and I were all dressed like we were going to a funeral. Haha.
Graduation: Saturday, May 27th, 2006. I woke up late. My dad took my shower time. And my friend came early, which distracted me even more. My mom got mad at me too for not cleaning up my room and my friend just ran inside. >.< Even though I told her not to. .;; So not my fault. We didn't know how to do the whole collar thing for the graduation gown so I just brought it with me hoping I could find someone to help me. I received a lei (sp?) from my mom's friend; it was pretty. And ollau has pictures that I want to snag from her. She actually dared to carry her camera around with her. I left my baby (or my Exilim) with my dad, to take care of. The best part was when someone blew up a beach ball and threw it in the air with the hats. That was awesome. Then I ran around trying to find people to take pictures with after the graduation before heading off for dim sum with my family. I got another lei from my uncle, pearl earrings from my grandma, a photo album from Angela, and a cute bear from my mom. My teachers kept bugging me about how they didn't recognize me without my glasses. =.=
Grad Night: Saturday, May 27th and Sunday, May 28th. It was awesome. Ten times better if we didn't go to City Beach, but whatever. The first half of the night dragged on far too long than it should have. They didn't even do the competitions/contests that they had planned to do in the first place. We took too long leaving the parking lot because the parents needed to frisk us of our belongings (such as cell phones, iPods, chap stick?). I should have brought my digital camera, but decided against it. Pity. I ended up using up both Javier's and my disposable camera (which they assigned us). There were like 6 guys on our bus. Haha. Luckily my mom made me eat dinner before going so I didn't have to wait in the crazy line for food and spent more time getting a caricature of me and KP (which looks nothing like us, by the way). We also got "tattoos" with glitter. XD I kind of wanted to do the rock wall but there was always a line. At the beginning of the night, they gave everyone 10 tickets and we get to decide how many tickets we want to put for certain items. There were also chances to get more tickets later to put towards the items that you wanted to win. Since I'm pretty lazy, I didn't actually get anymore raffle tickets except for that extra one you get for going on the boat (but that comes later). =) I started putting maybe half of my tickets for the iPod nano (since my dad still won't buy it for me) and as a reckless decision put two tickets for a microwave oven and the remaining eight for the iPod nano. I really didn't care since I never win raffles anyway. Then KP and I ran off to play on the inflatable slide/obstacle course. Can't leave the best friend behind!!! We went back for refreshments and then Lawrence pulled me away to play on the inflatable bungee thing. XD That was actually pretty fun. I won once. Go me. ^^; Then we played a little foosball with Hassaan and Chris. The comic hypnotist came and wow-ed the crowd. I just sat there. I'm not much for hypnotists...::shrugs:: And then around 12:30am we headed for our next stop.
The next stop was a boat. So nice. =) There were three floors. From top to bottom: dancing with a non-alcoholic bar, karaoke with a deli, and couches with a flat screen and gambling tables (for black jack and the such). Then there was the obligatory deck, which is where apparently all of the couples go. ::shrugs:: I lost KP for a few hours so I just hung out with Lawrence and some other people on the dance floor or in the karaoke room. Good fun. They played Thriller and KP wasn't there to dance with me. ::sniff:: A lot of PDA though. I've never seen so much PDA or realized how many people had boyfriends/girlfriends in our class alone. O.O My gosh... There was so much food too. Crazy. And then guess what, even though they had the random raffles through out the night of random gifts like a beach set, I actually won one of the four iPod nanos. OMG!! OMG!! O.O I never win anything from raffles. I never win anything! Free gifts...nah! So that's just awesome. =P The cruise was awesome. We should have just skipped City Beach entirely and spent the entire time on the cruise.... I fell asleep on the way home. Well, I almost did except Alexa and a whole bunch of other girls were being obnoxiously loud in the back. =.=
Fanime: Sunday, May 28th and Monday, May 29th. When I got home, I slept for about 6 hours before heading to Fanime. No one else really went except for BLam. I went in the Renge costume from Flame of Recca that gundamaniac's mom made me. Many thanks for you. XD It turned out really nicely. On Sunday, I hung out with anayufan for the most part and his two friends from his new school, Aja and Lynn who have an art table and were trying to sell stuff. A few pictures asked if they could take a picture of me, so that was cool. We ran into Henry and Amelia who was a really good Tifa (hair and everything), stood around for a while. Anayufan para-ed and then we ended up heading back to the art room to dance. Haha. It was still fun. I watched a bit of the masquerade before getting bored and my dad came by to pick me up. Monday was a lot more eventful even though I ended up talking to KP for about three hours on the phone Sunday night and ended up sleeping in until 11 on Monday. So I rushed over in my Renge costume again to run around with gundamaniac who was Kurei (mask and everything). Yay! We got a few pictures and did a couple of poses for ourselves such as him killing me, the weak and unworthy clone. Kertus was Mario and Dan was the mystery box. We watched Detective Conan movie 9, rushed over to watch Re-death(?) and then ate dinner/lunch before I headed back home. Took a few pictures. I didn’t get to immerse myself in the better con this year due to graduation stuff, but it still turned out to be a good weekend. =)
X-Men 3: Tuesday. I actually planned something and it worked out. ^_^ Me, Lawrence, BLam, gundamaniac, Jaymee, and Will went to see X-men 3 and I planned it all by myself. Of course there were some glitches but whatever. The car ride there was vulgar. BLam was almost late picking up maniac and Will. Jamba Juice was good. We accidentally cut a lady in line to buy tickets and she was about to kill us. Lawrence almost decapitated someone with his foot and Maniac, BLam, and Will's outburst almost got us kicked out of the theater. All before the movie even started. Woot! I've never been an obnoxious teenager before so it was quite interesting. The movie itself could have been better...there was so much potential. But it looks like there might be another sequel. We'll have to see...=.= But I still liked it. Good movie because there was good action. Not enough mutants in my opinion. They better come back and redeem themselves. I'm still satisfied I guess. I can't believe my plan came to life anyway. It usually dies...like a plant. X.x
So that's everything up to date. It's not completely detailed due to privacy issues and because I'm lazy. Haha. Maybe I'll proof read this...maybe I won't. We'll see. There are pictures that go along with this, but writing this took too much of my energy so I'll update with pictures later. Partying with ollau tomorrow. Have fun in SF you guys.
P.S. Graduation still hasn't sunk in yet...I still haven't fully realized that I may not see you guys ever again. ::sniff:: When I do realize it...then I'll write my farewell note.

This is it. Today's the day. There are no more days left, no more classes. The last time I'll ever sit in those classrooms at around 7:45am set to learn. It's kind of depressing, huh? And it definitely hasn't officially sunk in yet. I'm sad, yet not completely impacted, more indifferent, which makes me feel worse. Argh!
Despite the Economics test this morning, all was mildly right in the world. Instead of watching boring/fascinatingly computer graphic movies narrated by a guy from Jurassic Park, KP, I, and several other AP English students went to Mr. See's room to watch White Teeth based on Zadie Smith's book that we read for the class. We wouldn't be able to finish it, but we got farther along than last class, so it was cool.
I was unable to spend my last lunch ever on campus though. The Spanish 5/6 classes went off to a restaurant to eat. Yum. Then we got back early to still partake in the water fight aka Operation Wet Seal. =)
Seniors, wearing bandanas and equipped with water guns and water balloons are stationed at all of the exits around campus waiting for school to let out and the other students to pile out of the buildings. Muwahaha. However, a few of us got a few battle wounds. Most seniors felt retaliation from water bottles, while I got nearly knocked over by this one very tall, obviously not a senior, and received a rather large bruise accompanied with an ugly red fabric burn from my pants as something whacked me very hard...>.< It hella hurt. I've been putting ice on it since I got home. And poor ollau got pushed over and KP got....::whispers:: violated. Battle scars...
After school in the library was rather amusing. People breaking into song (i.e. ollau, Erin, Fern, Jaymee, BLam, and I singing from The Sound of Music) and BLam actually signing yearbooks!! ::Gasps:: Gundamaniac's mom drops by and turns me into a human mannequin. I wonder if I was a vision in white flowing robes? XD Then off towards home I go.
Prom tomorrow. I'm both nervous and excited. Hopefully everything turns out alright...::cough:: weather ::cough::.
I'm taking three finals. Not too bad, but it should be only two. =.= Maybe only one... ::mumble:: Whatever. It just means that I have to actually finish reading White Teeth. Agh! ::studies before prepares for prom/sleepover::

Tuesday, Senior Cut Day: So, everybody able, who is a senior, was given special permission from the administration to skip school on Tuesday and do what their hearts desired. XD For the nineteen of us, we desired to go to the beach, or SANTA CRUZ BEACH BOARDWALK to be exact. (I don't mean to yell...) It was awesome! Spectacular! Fantastic! Wonderful!! (I need an adjective/outburst wheel, like from that one commercial)
I woke up at 5:30am to make sandwiches and shower and stuff and around 6:45am I discover that the sandwiches were already made. T.T So I just sat in my room for another 45 minutes before leaving for BLam's house. (My dad needed to go to work, that's why so early) I arrive with ice, just for him, at his house around 8-ish and we're both too tired to do anything. Not enough energy to play Halo, and too tired to try conversation. XD Therefore, we hooked up his television to his computer (to function as speakers) and watch Detective Conan on his computer. Whee! =) Anime freaks are we! ♥
KP and Nikon (yes, I know that's not his name ::cough:: Codenames ::cough::) finally arrive around 9:45am. We dawdle a little, helping other apply sunscreen, and then hit the road!
Yay! Most of the people are already at the beach, and Calvin was able to join in on the fun. ♥ It was cloudy at first, which was a downer, but as predicted, it completely cleared up.
We picnicked; however, I still have tons of sandwiches left over. Then, most of us hit the Boardwalk for a little bit. Only five of the rides were open, so we got the most out of them (riding them multiple times, making up our own little rules for bumper cars). Although, Fireball was broken at the beginning, but we all had our own share of fun on Double Shot, especially Lawrence. ^.^
Back to the scorching hot sand we go. Kuhdar was named Honorary Kite Master while Lukas and Chris ran around attempting to fly their own kite. There was also an attempt at beach volleyball. ^_^ KP got covered in sand and I ran back to the water to ice off my footsies. T.T After Ed and Kertus surrounded our little area with driftwood and sticks, marking our territory (making it look like some tribal sacrifice), we made the official sacrifices by burying three of our innocent and valiant souls in the sand up to their shoulders/necks. XDDD Then, we dug them out. That's why I'm sore, now.
I got pushed "accidentally", at first, into the water by Lawrence, which was followed by two more voluntary/on purpose pushes back into the ocean. Much fun.
Fireball, here we come. Then back to the Giant Dipper (where KP and I "had" a minor catfight) and bumper cars. Sadly, afterwards, we went back home, exhausted, hot, and possibly sunburned. >.< Unfortunately... But on the good side, we got lots and lots of PICTURES!!
Please note: The pictures are password protected just in case people do not like their faces to be shown to the internet public. PASSWORD is our school mascot (lowercase and plural)

Today: Evil Spanish test. I'm not even going to talk about that...
But my dad made me wake up extra early because of his stupid dentist appoint. ::moan&groan:: I fell asleep in Physics, not because of the video, though. In addition, everyone got their yearbooks. (Mostly) Last high school liturgy...ev4r. ::sniff:: Now I'm off to finish the present for my teachers, make them cards, and obtain sharpies for my yearbook signing usage. ^.^
Only two more days left...

Yesterday, my uncle gave me my graduation present. I was a little surprised because I thought he was going to give it to me during graduation, not earlier. And then it said "Dark Chocolate" on the box, which made me a little sad because I thought he was going to buy me a camera. Chocolate's good, too though. But then, he called today asking if I liked the present, and I told him that I hadn't opened it yet because I wanted to wait until grad. He told me to open it now, since I "might want to use it before then". Oooooh~! So I rush down and rip it out of its wrapping paper. And lo' and behold: The Casio EX-Z600 (blue). Camera love. ♥
Today's my lucky day. XD My dad finally said yes to one of my movie proposals. So we went to go see MI3. However, I forgot my Student ID to get the discount. T.T But while we were waiting in line to buy the tickets, the family in front of us didn't get a student discount because the kid forgot his I.D.. Surprise! The lady gave us a discount anyway, even though I forgot. YAY! =)
We're a little late for the movie. The previews have already started and the theater is somewhat packed. But low and behold, two seats right next to each other. Yay. It was a good distance from the screen, too.
Mission Impossible 3: For those of you who haven't seen it already, this movie has so much action that I can't even remember every detail. I can't even recount the last time I've ever sat on the edge of my seat for almost the entirety of the movie. The little girl on my right disappeared near the end because she got scared. Poor child.
But I really liked it. A lot of my friends already saw it on opening weekend, and they liked it, too. Originally, I wasn't expecting too much because it's been so long since MI-2 and I was wondering how'd they account that in. But they did a very good job. From the beginning to the end, I was so emmersed in the movie. Tom Cruise does a great job of suspense as people are dying all around, explosions everywhere.
What else...hmm...They've brought back some characters from the previous movies, and similar technology used before. And I love how they went to Shanghai!! Asian pride! ^_^
Michelle Monighan looks freakishly like Katie Holmes. It's just amazing...Kind of like Keira Knightley and Natalie Portman when they were in Star Wars Episode I.
Stephy already told me about the Invisible Man reference, I think. But it was still funny, and I think I might have been one of the few people who actually laughed in the theater. It's the English nerd in me...^^;; "Wells, not Ellison if you're trying to be cute." =)
Another little note for Stephy. ♥ Jonathan Rhys Meyers is gorgeous in that movie. ::fans self:: Oh my gawd! ::goes off to find pictures to make into graphics:: La la la....

I forgot to mention that on Friday, there was a mini concert in the quad put on my students during lunch. It was cute. Although, I know some people were a little distressed that the speakers were right next to their table. Ears ringing galore. They did a lot of covers (I guess that's what they're called) such as Blink 182, Green Day, Franz Ferdinand, Kelly Clarkson, etc... Then someone requested that Busta Rhymes (sp?) song, I don't quite know the title but it goes, "Booty booty booty booty booty...blah blah...." XD Two white preppy guys and LJ (who actually can) rapping is quite hilarious to watch. Especially with the guys gyrating on stage. Haha. That made my day...
Especially since I had the my AP Spanish Lit exam and AP Spanish Lit class following lunch, my day was practically full of nothing. =) We had a free period during Spanish, so I crashed Lawrence's Physics class and watched Indiana Jones with them. Mucho fun. The rest of my Spanish class went outside to play "Big Booty", so all in all, it was day full of...um...booties. XD
On Saturday, I was supposed to go see a play with Mr. See and company, but it got canceled. ::cries:: We might go in June, so I guess that makes me feel slightly better. So I just kind of lounged around all day, watching anime, talking to BLam and ollau on the phone. The good stuff. I also got one two wonderful messages from anayufan. =)
Then we drove off to Red Robin to celebrate Mother's Day with the family. My cousins are awesome and yet weird in their own special way. We spent most of the time during dinner listening to "Cousin S" talk about the woes of pervy seventh grade boys. Cousins "B1" and "B2" (2 is one year younger, and they're brothers) told her stay away from them, and don't like boys who play the guitar until she really wants to Sophomore year. I just sat there and smiled. ¬.¬;; But then, I told them that I wanted to see Brokeback Mountain and they got all squirmy. >.< Fine then. I'll just watch it myself. =P
We didn't go home until around 11:30pm. O.O We watched Cousin S learn how to snowboard and her little sister L learn how to ski (as she kept veering towards the trees). An eight year old taught my 18 year old cousin how to play the piano, and we bullied some of Cousin S's pervy seventh grade boy (space) friends while on AIM. Good day. Tiring day, but good.
And it's tiring trying to think of code names for everyone. Jeez...
However, I woke up late this morning because we got home so late and was unable to make my mom breakfast. Maybe I'll make dinner or something instead...

(Chris comes along and stares at Lawrence's bitten arms)
C: What happened?
L: I sat on my sofa.
C: And it bit you?
Moral of the story ~ Beware of sofa bites. =)
And it wasn't only Lawrence either. A couple of days ago, trees and bushes were attacking me. >.< ::hides::
Prom update: I finallly have shoes!!! And a bag...but SHOES!!! I'm somewhat happier now...
Last AP exam today and it was a lovely 3.5 hours of reading Spanish literature. ::dies:: Needless to say, ollau and I were rather not ourselves after that test. Our stomachs were talking to each other, too. Haha.
Four day weekend. Whee!! And only 3 days left of school. =P

New Layout~! I made this a couple of weeks ago and decided to just wait for May. And then May came and I got busy. XD It's up now, though. It's quite the opposite of the last layout and for some reason it has Easter colors. Oh well. I've recently gotten obsessed with this manga series (NANA) so why not make a layout? =) The theme was based on how I'm graduating within the next few weeks and we're all going off to college...::sniff::
I was writing out the addresses and names on my Graduation Announcements last night. Then I came onto a crossroads and needed to seek reference from a graduation announcement that I received last year. So, being the pack rat that I am, I went searching through all my letters/cards that I have filed away. The most recent ones sit upon my desk. But while searching for the sought grad announcement, I found all these letters/cards from elementary school. They're so funny/cute.
There were a lot from Grovechaos and Misai stuffed in my little paper shelf thingy. Some were dated back as far as third grade!! O.O I love Hanye's cute Korean stationary that she always sent me whenever she went back to Korea over the summer. She'd talk about how annoying the little Korean kids were as she wrote her friends letters.
For letters from Misai, do you remember Puffkins? Apparently, they are little plushies with no arms. XD On one of the envelopes, you drew a puffkin saying, "I have no arms. Did you know that puffkins have no arms. My friends have no arms. We don't need arms." Hahaha. I've got evidence of our crazy Beanie Baby and Pokemon phases, too. Man, corporate America made a lot of money off of our generation, especially TY. And I'll always remember you sending me an Herbal Essences shampoo sampler in one of your letters as a present. Were you hinting at something? ::nudge nudge:: Should I have washed my hair more back in elementary school? XD;
A lot of my high school birthday cards are mixed in there, too. It makes me sad, because these letters seems like I just got them a few weeks ago versus several years. ::sniff:: We grow up much too fast.
I even have a postcard from Julia P. My "bestest" friend before third grade. XD She asked for my email, but I didn't have internet then so I lost contact with her after that. Oops. XP

I found that bookmark you made me for Christmas, ollau. Haha. It was buried beneath all of the dust. ::cough::
Honors concert rehearsals today. Ew. I'm playing last. ::look of dread:: That means for two hours I'm going to be as nervous as heck. Woohoo... On the good side, I get to hang out with Richard and Nguyen for a while. ^_^ They're the best.
2 clarinets + 2 snare drums + 8 pianists =

A LONG ENTRY LIES AHEAD. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.
The verdict is in. Drum roll please...
Carnegie Mellon, Class of 2010!
Second thoughts are still popping up in my head like spam or pop-up advertisements. ::clicks them away:: It was a very tight race between CMU and UC Irvine, where I was constantly switching between both. But my dad already sent in the $500 non-refundable deposit, so there's no turning back. I'm going to be a Tartan, not an anteater. And strangely, after I said I wanted to go to CMU, I started thinking a lot about Irvine. I guess you never really weigh its value until it's out of your reach. But like I said (and ollau repeatedly), I'm going to be happy wherever I go. ^_^ (Just a little sadder that my friends will be on the other side of the country...)
Finally decided on a prom dress. My mom and I trucked on back to Macy*s and bought the one that I kind of wanted in the first place. XD It's purdy and light blue/green with lots and lots of glitter [anayufan, you have been forewarned]. And while getting that one, we also bought this really cute pink one with floral print. It's so cute. Don't know when I'll wear it, but I'm definitely wearing it somewhere.
April's been one of the craziest months of my life! Too crazy for my sake. Argh. It was the month of last minute decisions. The month of realizing that AP's are only a couple weeks away. The month of realizing that there's only three weeks until graduation. The month of being indecisive between seven wonderful colleges/universities. The month of serious drama, that really tempted me to snap, but I haven't yet. Just one more month. We'll see how May goes then...
AP tests start this week. Ack! Our last gymnastics meet is this week as well. Kind of makes me sad now that I think about it. At first, I wasn't sure if I wanted to do gym this year, but after the showcase, I ended up going to practice everyday (until I got terribly sick and missed the first two meets T.T). Moving on...ahem. It's been fun. I've made a lot more friends. Stephanie's the best. ♥ And Laurel, too. She's the awesome-est locker buddy in the world (to give food to and receive food from). It'll be a bittersweet end, and I've been working so hard on my handstand forward rolls, too. ::sniff::
In the end, it's the moments (in this case, years) that you want to enjoy the most that go by too fast.
But why am I reminiscing, now? It's only the beginning of the end...
I've never felt so stressed in my life these past couple of days. Everything's just making me frustrated. ARGH!
42nd Street: Went to see the Spring Musical with ollau the other day. The preview wasn't very promising, but I've gone every year, so I wasn't planning on stopping now. The first act/half was kind of slow, and most of it we had already seen in the preview. My one complaint was that they hadn't opened the bleachers up that night. They always have a small section of bleachers open!! And I always sit on them! ::frowns:: And especially now that this year's musical is all tap, it would have been perfect to sit on the bleachers, being short (mildly) and all. Grr...
But ollau saved us pretty good seats. We would have gotten there earlier, if I hadn't decided to drive us there, and my dad was doing "God knows what" to makes us leave the house at 6:49 pm, when the doors open at 7pm. [insert frustrated sound here] And, he wouldn't let me drive faster than friggin' 55mph on the freeway!! O.O
The second act was wonderful, however. So, if anything, don't miss the second act. The set pieces were pretty cool, and the two newly weds and their musical number on the train was absolutely hilarious/adorable. =)
Overall, the musical in itself wasn't exactly the best choice. But with what they were working with, Jessica and co. did a wonderful job. Especially since, we don't exactly have the strong actors/actresses that we've had two years ago. I don't know how well they will do this year with awards and stuff, but it exceeded my expectations for it. So I'm mildly content.
My dad's so embarrassing though. He was taking pictures the entire time, so every five minutes he'd lift the camera in the air over people's heads and take pictures. Then he'd break the rules and start using the flash!! I wanted to whack him on the head before he got in trouble and made the dancers fall off stage or something...
Today: Today was semi normal. We were missing a few people. ::sniff:: It was nerd day for the gymnastics team since we had our second-to-last meet today. I came equipped with my pigtails, cuffed pants, and Science and Engineering shirt. I would have worn tennis shoes and socks, but I didn't want my feet to burn. It was already pretty warm when we did Nerd Day last semester. So meh! =P Although, Becky was really cute with her tie and three tiny pigtails.
And at the moment, I have an A- in Calculus BC right now. RIGHTEOUS! XD But that's certain to go down with our "pre-final" that he's making us take next week. ::cries::
On a final note, my dad is by far the craziest driver when we're running late, and especially in his truck. >.< Things were askew in the back, food on the floor, and I was actually afraid. Should he be teaching me to drive? Just ask yourself that... =.=;;
Okay, this is the FINAL note. Haha. This entry is already as long as it is...Honors Concert this Sunday at 7pm.. Can anyone come? There'll be singing, drums possibly, brass instruments, and piano. And I might be playing last. T.T It's my last concert, ev4r. Come and support, please? ::puppy dog face::
