So I'm sitting in one of the mac computer clusters listening to my Intro to Programming TA hold a review session for our midterm on Friday. It's very warm in this cluster and I can't breathe properly. Stupid heater... =.= But I personally like my TA. He's very nice and tries really hard to make sure that we understand everything. Ricky says that he even tries to suppress his heavy Indian accent so we can understand him even more, although it doesn't help much. XD He's a freshman too!
Anyways, Principles of Economics was really fun today. I like it when we do experiments even though a lot of people find it as a reason to skip class. ::rolls eyes:: As I was leaving Stats, I waved bye to Jae and then I see someone else waving bye to me, and I notice that it's someone who also has Econ with me. I'm like, "Bye...wait! What?!" XD So today was the Beauty Contest Game experiment. Basically everyone gets into groups of 2 or 3 and then we have to pick a number between 0-100. The team that gets closest to half of the average of all the numbers picked wins that round. And money's at stake here too! So our team's made up of Joe, Jessie, and me. We pick a random number: 34. The head TA collects the first round of sheets. Another TA sorts them and reads them off to John, the head TA, to input them into Excel.
So the first number called out was 33, so we felt good about our choice until the majority of the numbers were like 14, 11, 8.... We were like...eh?! O.O We were not the highest though...there was a 47, so hah! XD But for the first round the average was like 15 or something so everyone who had the number 7 won that round. For the second round, we were like let's pick a really low number. We decide on 3. Same as before, all the papers are collected and read allowed so they can be put into a spreadsheet.
While this is going on, Jessie asks me if I think John, the head TA, is kind of cute. =3 I admit that I agree. Hahaha. We both thought that we shouldn't be thinking these kinds of thoughts though. ><;;;; Then I mention that John looks sort of like Ethan Hawk. She freaks out because he really does. But she says that he has some Michael Vartan in him, too! So now our head TA is a mix between Ethan Hawk and Michael Vartan. And while Jessie and I were 'squealing' over him, Joe suddenly asks, "Are you guys talking about John?" XD Jessie teases him that he agrees with us too, and Joe says that he thinks our Econ professor is pretty good looking too. Hahahaha.
The numbers picked for the second round were outrageous! There were a lot of decimals that were smaller than 1. And the other TA looked at one slip, shook his head and asked us, "Who put 'e'?!" Hahahaha. The whole lecture was laughing. There were also a few pis in there too. And like five evil groups who put 100 and one random 69. So that completely threw off the average. The last value was the best though: pi + e. So nerdy~! And guess who ended up winning because the average was like 10 and half of that is about five point something?! PI PLUS E won that round!!!! WTF! Hahahaha.
But overall, the group that won money, because that part is completely at random was from the first round. It was a good class though. And we got out early.
Well, my programming review session is over. Going home to finish math homework now. Ja ne!

"So hungry..." Actually, to be honest, I'm not that hungry, but that was what John was saying while he was walking up the stairs to sit down with us before Economics lecture. I ask why he's so hungry and he tells me it's because he's fasting. Why is he fasting? Because today's Ash Wednesday!! O.O I completely forgot. That means that yesterday was Mardi Gras!
So I had to keep telling myself not to eat meat today. x.x I miss the reminders that Catholic high school and parents give you for these days.
On another note, I have this dying need to Para!! But I guess I didn't bring my Para Para Paradise VCDs which makes me awfully sad. I could have sworn that I packed them before summer was over, but they are no where to be seen in my room. Wah! Note to self: Bring back other CD binder when I go home for spring breaks.
I've been listening to the Best of Euromach CD 1 non-stop for the past 48 hours and when I exhausted that I moved on to anayufan's mix and cd that he made me for our first Para Para performance for the International Showcase. I don't remember all the moves anymore which makes me want to dance even more!! Wah! Where are those cds!! ::searches throughout her whole room::
It was so sunny today that all the snow was melting. It kind of felt like spring since people were walking about in shorts and t-shirts amongst others wearing winter coats. Hahaha. But even though the weather was so nice, everyone was like dead today. In math, I look to my right and Jason's sleeping. I look to my left and Eddie's sleeping. I look in front and behind me and those rows are all passed out. XDDDD
I'm so sad. =( The lens popped out of my glasses today after I took a shower and I can't find my mini screwdriver! So I'm wearing contacts but my eyes feel so dry. =.= And to top it all off, my two hour nap turned into a four hour nap. ::sigh::
I'm going to go search for those para cds and that screwdriver.

Whee~! My programming class got canceled at 8:30 due to weather conditions. ♥ I love my programming professor!
Anyways, because of this, I got time to make my lovely friends-list a last minute Valentine's Card graphic. ♥
