"Son of a bitch. I'm sick of these dolphins."
Sleepy day. However, I did wake up early. I think I spent the rest of last night reading manga. That's what I'm doing now. I don't know when I'm going to start watching anime. I saw Yuri for only a little bit today. That was like a little before I went to see the movie I didn't see yesterday. She called me at noon to cancel our Chinese food eating plans. Slightly annoying, but I decided it was better for my low funds situation. As things are now, I will have just barely enough money to buy food for myself tomorrow with Jahson (talked to him tonight and yep, he's coming) and pay for that language society thingy. Hopefully the application will be short... I wish they had mailed it to me... It's going to be a pain in the ass to fill it out if it requires a lot of shit...

I went to Taco Bell for lunch and calculated what I'd spend before I went there so I would get the right change back to afford going to the movie later on. I'm slightly hungry now, but I think I'm too tired to whip up a bowl of ramen. It doesn't take so long, but it takes too much attention when doing it in the microwave. On the stove, I just toss it in there and come back in three minutes. Anyways, it was a pretty good lunch. I tried not to immediately go to sleep because it's bad to do so after eating. So I read more manga. Then finally, I went to sleep before I planned to go to the movie.

I think before I went to Taco Bell I watched one of these two video tapes Yuri had brought in. She wanted to watch them, but she wouldn't because she was worried it would bore me for her to use my VCR. She wouldn't be convinced no matter what. So I watched like thirty minutes of it, already knowing it was a taped marathon (cuz Yuri told me). It was sorta interesting, especially since many of the male runners were kinda ugly, but I loved the commercials in between. I cracked up at this funny, fruity looking Japanese guy carrying this oversized carton of ice cream through a forest while some clay-animated squirrels above said something to him. And Mari, who for some reason was hanging out in our room last night with me after Yuri had left to study, said our commercials are silly. What the hell do squirrels got to do with f-ing ice cream?? Not a damn thing. Also there were some commercials with Brad Pitt? Yeah. He was doing them in Japan and advertising jeans? Can't remember. At the end of most he said something in Japanese, so it was very entertaining.

After I napped, Yuri came in from Wal-Mart. She had called me before to ask if I wanted anything, and of course I did, but how the hell could I trust her to pick up the items I need? Yeah. So I offhandedly told her to pick me up some coke. Cherry coke. Can or bottle? I said it didn't matter. I excepted her to come back with one can or a little bottle, but she came back with a box of cans. I told her of this and she said it didn't matter because it was a Valentine's gift. I just had to laugh at that and say thank you. I put one in the freezer down the hall (reminded of those days when my dad used to yell at us for doing that--especially if we forgot it was in there) and soon had a cold one to enjoy. So that's great I have more to drink cuz that's one of my prime concerns. Now if I can only manage to spend the amount of money that I want at Wal-mart and turn in that application for that foreign language society thing costing 25 bucks, I will be the master of making efficient use of my money. I tell you I have been pretty much unable to spend my money freely since winter break. I mean, yeah, I've wasted it on food, but truly I've had to keep away from treating myself to doujinshi or manga or anything outside food. But then again, this is the price of not working. Of course, Furuhata wants me to work in the evil Language Lab next semester... Eww...

So I went to see Life of the Aquatic with Steve Zissou. Or however the title is. It was good. I loved that when I got there it started within a minute. I hate having to sit around. There was this free voucher you got with your ticket for a free snickers, but I was like--f that. Snickers? I hate those. I realized that Bill Murray's kind of comedic style is kinda like mine. He's sarcastic in a very nonchalant way. Like he talks as if he's serious and not trying to be funny and doesn't care if he is, which makes him more funny. That's kinda what I do. There were some of the same actors from The Royal Tenabaums, directed by the same guy: Angelica Houston, Owen Wilson, and (duh) Bill Murray. My favorite character, besides Zissou himself (Murray) was Klaus played by William Dufoe. There's something so funny and cute about him, although he always seems a little crazy. Plus, he was so obviously fruity in that movie. Only person wearing shorts the whole time. And he slapped people. Guys typically don't slap other guys. I liked how they all wore those red hats throughout. It was especially funny/cute on Murray and Dufoe. It was a great movie. I didn't expect there to be so much action regardless they were going after a shark. It was also pretty sad at the same time. I could of cried if I wasn't such a cynical person. Oh! Steve Goldblum? Oh, I can't spell his name. Anyway, that guy was pretty good too. His character reminded me of his character on Will and Grace where he guest-starred. I liked that Zissou had this sort of nemis, that was Goldblum's character. I thought the movie had some similarities to Tenabaums, only in that there were these families issues and a wife and husband on the rocks. And why was there this girl that was topless for most of her scenes? Didn't get that, but besides the use of the f-word, that's why it was rated as it was. Oh. And I think Mark Mothersburg did the music for it. The guy who does the Rugrats music... I think anyways... Of course, old school Rugrats (pre-Kimi and Dil) had the better music and episodes...

Kinda hungry, but there's still some manga to read... Should I eat? I'm ready to go to sleep... But I've barely been awake. Maybe eat. No. Too tired. But hungry. Jahson's coming around 1-2--somewhere in between. I may not get up before then, but who knows? Wonder what Yuri will be doing tomorrow. I appreciate the time to myself, though. From time to time, I like to get up and dance to my music playing loud. All right. I'm out. Hopefully, I'll spend wisely at Wal-mart tomorrow.

Quote from Steve Zissou: We're all half-gay.
--in response to Steve Goldblum's claim that was why he was a bad husband to Zissou's current wife. (Amen, brother ^_^)

Bitches Next Door...
Nothing pisses me off more than having to miss my shower in the morning due to me waking up too late, or worse still, if someone else makes me have to forfeit that luxury. Such was the case this morning. I woke up on time, not too tired, but wanted to sit back and relax an extra five minutes before taking my shower. Big mistake. Within that time, one of the bitches next door jumped into the shower, which usually isn't a big problem for me. I'd simply wait for her to get out. No. Okay, like after she was done, what does she do? Yes, she locks me out. And I even go next door and knock--no answer. What the f?? Outta slap the white right out of them. I was so mad. I thought maybe one of them would kindly remember after a while. Hell, no. I was almost late as well because I fooled around waiting for their asses to get the picture. So I just liked took my puff and washed my upper half (bending in front of the sink), threw on some deodorant, and went out to class in the same clothes minus one shirt (so it wouldn't look like I was wearing the same thing) and a different pair of pants. It sucked because I wouldn't be back until 2:00 and I would eat lunch around that time.

It was great getting my test back in Econ. Last weekend I studied well. I mean, I finished studying up all of Management, well most of it, but Friday. Then I tried to finish my review of Pirates of Penzance which was also due. It took me forever! I had a whole day Saturday to do it and I didn't finish until like 6 or so on Sunday! I actually studied Management so well that I felt well-prepared before class. When I went to take said Management test, I was pleased that because it was snowing, our teacher decided not to do anything else besides the test. I was so happy! I finished in good time and felt pretty good about it. Oh, well, I haven't gotten the results back yet, but I shouldn't have done too badly. After all, I've been taking notes as I re-read my chapters now to study for harder material, which has worked fabulously.

Econ, I had a test on Wednesday. Also another review for Theater due. Oh, and yes, Accounting test. Now, I tried my best to finish up the review Monday night... No. It didn't happen. Instead, I had like the first paragraph done. So I work on that until very late--like 7pm--before I start studying for Econ. I was kinda nervous because I had four chapters to study, but I tried my new method--re-read (actually, this was the first time I was reading the Econ stuff) and taking notes as I go along. Not only does it feel like I read faster, but I remember crap better. Oh, my stupid Accounting teacher also made us have a take-home essay, which I did like at midnight or 1am. So I finished my review and that stupid essay for her that night. I got through all of the four chapters and felt semi-ready for Mr. Crazy's Econ test. Usually I know when I'm ready if it makes me sick to look at the text again. If I look at it and feel like it's a waste of my time because I know it too well, then I'm ready. I went into his test, pretty confident. Today I found out I got a 96. Highest in the class (though still lower than the highest in the earlier section of his class). I was happy. That same girl got the same grade. It's weird... We're like identical or something. Grade-wise anyway. That'd be weird if that happened on the last test too.

Accounting I didn't even study until Wednesday about 40 minutes before. I just sped through the four chapters trying to rememeber the bolded vocabulary. I hoped I would remember everything else since it was semi-review from ol' Hage's class from last semester. How'd I do for only studying less than an hour for it? Um, 97, my friends. Hehe! It's ridiculous. And I like studied for at least four hours for my Econ test. So, I did well on everything this week... Well, don't know about Management yet. Oh, and I found out I'm giving my Closing case on March 21... I dread that day... Good Lord...

Um, I'm basically broke and I'm staying here in Jigoku Dani for Spring Break, which starts today. So guitar. Yep. I borrowed money from Lauren so I can have some food to eat besides ramen, which is the only thing I can afford to feed me for the full week. Today during my break between my classes, I went and got two dollars worth of ramen just in case. I don't know if Jahson will be able to come and see me because of the weather, but I hope so. It's really bad for my health... Well, I've been eating ramen almost everyday. Why I'm always hungry, I don't know... Maybe I'm sick. I get hot for no reason now, while my room mate is freezing. It's like she's me and I'm Lauren! Then again, Yuri is older. So maybe the older person in the room gets cold, while the younger is always hot? Hehe, I dunno, but we've been having arguments (in fun) about the heater. It's so fun. Now if it was me and Lauren, we'd be really fighting cuz I get pissed off with being cold, while my sister tries to make it colder. Somehow me and Yuri aren't at each other's throats, but if you listened to how we talked, it'd be like I was talking to Toya (from the 'ville) or ann no aku or something. I love it. ^_^

What am I going to do? Hell if I know. Writing for sure. Catch up on some anime. Got Beat Buzzer... Beet the Vandel... Fantastic Children... Sukisyo... Quite a few animes that have piled up past three episodes unwatched. I was going to go to a movie tonight, but Iku asked me to wait until tomorrow. If I forget to see it tomorrow, I'll hurt her. It's that Life of the Aquatic movie with Bill Murray. It should be good. But Iku said she might have a movie marathon at her house. That'd be nice. Megu also is still here, so there's some good people left. Toya T went to Columbus, I think. I borrowed some DVDs from her, including The Rundown. Yes, yes, I know. I have to record Christopher Walken. That tooth quote, man. It was so funny. Hehe!

I'm most worried that I'll be thirsty. I mean, of course, if I starve, that'll be bad, but... I dunno. I may have to live off ramen. I'll definitely eat some tonight. And most likely tomorrow. I hope Jahson comes. It'll be so bad for me. I got like 35 bucks to spare. My thoughts are sandwich stuff (meat, cheese, bread, mustard, and mayonaise), turkey hot dogs and buns, a couple of boxes of cherry Capri Sun (if I'm lucky--every damn time I go in there they have two boxes left and they're open!! Why the f is that??), and maybe a couple of those really, really cheap frozen dinners that cost like a dollar-ish. It should be about 35. I'd buy chips or something to snack on, but I don't think I can afford it. I can only like afford to get fast-food like once. Mostly because I don't have enough cash and Taco Bell (the cheaper choice) lacks the debit/credit card option. Those bastards... And then they put in an ATM machine?? What the f for?? I try to never use those because my damn bank charges me 2 dollars on top of what ATM I use charges me. Bastards...

Okay, forgot my point. Oh. Food. Yeah, Jahson don't come, it'll be bad. I'll also try to do some work. I'm worried about this foreign language honor society I could join because I was nominated, but I don't think I have time to fill everything out... Especially if it needs a letter or something. And I'm broke. I mean, I owe my sister like 50 bucks, I need to put 25 on my ID card so I can do laundry (the min. amount you can do electronically), and that fee for that society is 25. So there's a hundred already gone and I'm still broke. What a load of shit... So shitty! Makes me crazy. Okay. Hmm. Maybe I'll watch some Gakutsuou. I'm trying to figure out whether or not I want to go the AIS formal party. It seems it'll be nice, but then again without Yuri maybe it'll be boring. She's going to D.C. Don't know how though. Okay, enough talking for now. Maybe I'll write later on tonight... Or tomorrow. I just found out Iku isn't going to go to the movie tomorrow so I missed it today for nothing. I better not forget or it better not be snowing. Thursday and today were actually sunny... Wish it'd stay like that.

Ooh. Quick note. Scary coincedence. I watched, randomly, this movie about a semi-retarded girl who got raped by some jocks at school. She was on trial and I kept thinking she was quite ugly. Not to be mean, but come on. Anyways, just now I started watching Devil's Advocate with Keanau Reeves. And there she is again on the stand! This time being sexual abused by her teacher. Are these the only roles this bitch can get?? Plus, I'm scared. I've never seen here before today and now twice. Her name's Heather M-something... So frightening to have to see her cry in the court room twice, though the former performance was better than the latter...

Quote from another random Lifetime movie: Well, nobody told me!
--Man's response after learning it had been illegal for him to have sex with a legally retarded woman (me and my sister cracked up at this response--who's supposed to tell you??)
