Paul, the Strip Pole
Nothing much to report about this week. Um, I had two tests. Econ and Japanese on Friday. Econ was pretty hard and Yuri said it wouldn't be! Me and Megu (her friend) agreed we should kill her. I couldn't study either. It sucked. I didn't start doing stuff for Econ till 10 on Thursday. It wasn't really because of the fact that I went to the AIS meeting with Yuri again. The best part of that meeting was that Yuri kept asking what was being said. At one point she asked and everyone turned and looked at her like she was an idiot. She was like, "See? Everyone hates me." I couldn't help but laugh cuz she kept not listening.

I was tired on Friday, so I just threw down answers on both of my tests and eagerly went to go eat. I got to hear an interesting story from Lauren about her and some trouble with the police. I'm not sure what happened later on... Eventually I slept. I don't know if it was Friday or if it was another day, but I watched some more Gankutsou. Old man judge got locked up because he was trying to shoot the Count and it seems the bonds between Albert's dad and Eugine's dad are totally gone. There was this nice story about how Haydee met the Count. Included in that episode was a little part that showed that blonde bastard who's trying to steal Albert's girl away going nuts! His face was all distorted and he was using really harsh language. He really sucks. He arranged it so now that he and Eugine are engaged. There was this great part when Albert heard about it and tried to go see her, but they wouldn't let her, so he continued to walk around sad in the rain. Now, Eugine too hadn't heard anything about it, so when she did, she went to look for Albert as well. Couldn't find him, it was pretty sad. Albert finally met up with his friend Franz (they've been separated for so long!), but they didn't patch things up. Even more sad. Now the Count and Albert are going off to space... I've got the next episode, 15, that shows that but I haven't watched it yet.

Okay, so I have a horrible Management Principles test on Monday (nooooo!) and a paper too in that class. I cannot finish it for anything! It's just so bad. I've been trying for hours, but I get bored and start reading manga. I've yet to waste time by watching anime. Also I took a nap today. You know, I think it was a mistake to decide not to leave today. I decided to just eat ramen and try to work on things.... No.. Even right now, doing this journal entry is wasting time. I have to finish it tonight! Tomorrow I need to devote all free time to study!

Anything else? Oh, yeah. The title of this entry. Last night Yuri tells me I should go to a party with her, but although I thought I could do this stupid paper that still plagues me as I write, I said okay, "only for five minutes." I was kinda reluctant to go, but I suppose it was about time I went to one. We went (though it was a basically on campus fraternity house) in Yuri's friend's car with Mari and this other boy I had never seen. Upon arrival, I showed my ID, so I could get a thing showing I could drink, but I didn't. Then we headed upstairs to a room that seem to be the "Japanese Room." There were just a lot of Japanese gathered there. We hung out there for a while and Yuri assured me that Iku and Megu would show up, so I said I would stay long enough to see that. We headed down to the basement where people were dancing. It was f-ing crowded. And hot, man. I said I didn't dance nor would I. So we returned upstairs and waited for the others to arrive. Iku, as well as Caroline, another international black student from Greece, were ready to dance. However, they wanted to wait on Kengo (the guy who had drived us and them after he dropped us off). So back down to the basement we went... It was actually much more fun with Iku, Megu, and Caroline. Caroline kept doing these wild dances and trying to do a split. Megu kept doing something more hip-hop looking and kept laughing at me at intervals. Iku was just everywhere. There was a support beam down there she kept pretending was a pole in a strip club, which she decided to name Paul. Dunno why.

After a while I danced a little, in mock, and eventually Yuri came down (intially she didn't when Iku and them first arrived) and I tried to get her to dance. She wouldn't really. It was kinda funny, though, because she kept making motions like she was going to strip. It was hot enough. And then she kept trying to make me do so too. She's crazy. I tried to get her to do a dance where you gradually are couching on the ground. She claimed her legs weren't strong enough. Um, I probably have like fourty or so pounds on her and I've never been in a sports team like her. Come on. It got f-ing hot down there, but it wasn't so bad. Back in the Japanese Room, a guy I think who was in my class was trying to mack on these two Japanese whores. Yes, okay, they were. They were like those girls you think only exist in manga. Short-ass skirts, tank-tops, ditzy, and always using their cell phones for pictures and what not. I mean, this other guy, macking as well, had his arm over both of them and was saying various stuff to make them giggle, I suppose. I tried not to look. I also tried to pay no mind to the guy from my class saying stuff in Japanese like, "I love Japanese people." I almost wanted to tell him to shut up. Oh, and I actually talked to the guy from my Econ class. The Japanese guy. We talked a little about the test and he said he probably got a B. Some reason I thought, "kinda cocky, ain't ya?" I mean, it wa pretty tough. So I said, I'd probably get a "C." If I did, I'd be pissed. It's been a while since I've gotten a C on something. Anyway, I did have some fun, so it was cool. However, I smelled like a lot of smoke when I got back. Dunno if I'll ever go to one again, but guess I've done my due now. Oh, last note: Yuri has a beau? I think so. She confuses me by calling him her "boy." But she won't tell me his name... Like I'll know him or something. I dunno why she told me in the first place, if she wasn't going to say more... I keep thinking it's this one guy from the party... I'm not sure...

Quote: Yuri no hou ga watashi yori mendokusagari da to omoimasu.
(I think Yuri is more lazy than I am).
